Chick-King in Haringey

I went because of the hyped reviews. I really do not know what the fuss and the hype is about. In fact worst experience and taste ever. The chicken stank as if it was cooked the previous day. It was dry too. I asked for sauce and was told only 2 sachets for 5 pieces of chicken and 2 portiona of chips and if I wanted more I have to pay extra. Never heard of such story. I had to come out of the shop and buy my own sauce from the corner shop.The chicken went straight to the bin and I loss my appetite when whole day. First and last visit.

Esta es, de lejos, LA mejor tienda de pollos que encontrarás. No solo en Londres, sino en cualquier lugar. Pollo limpio y papas fritas a un precio razonable y muy sabroso cada vez que visito este lugar. El tipo que te sirve la comida siempre es feliz y agradable, a diferencia de la mayoría de los lugares de comida rápida. ¡Siempre es un placer cuando entro en Chick - King!

Service was very good going above and beyond. Portion sizes were large and quality was spot on very nice chicken sandwich and great chicken pieces too. chips average but overall for price very good!

So I went and had some chicken. Food and staff where superb. Hats off to everyone involved in such a well oiled machine

Este lugar se ha convertido en parte de la tradición cuando se va a un partido, no solo para el hogar sino también para los aficionados que no asisten. Been going there for a few decades, best chicken in London (plus they do really lovely milkshakes). The twins are always happy but the queues sometimes are long as the chicken is so delicious. There is no sitdown area it is purely takeaway....

Forget all chicken and chip shops in London. This is numero uno. Their wings are another class and everything is great value for money. Decor is dated but it adds to the vibe.

No puedo agregar mucho más que otros aún no lo hayan hecho. Delicioso pollo jugoso, excelentes patatas fritas, siempre recién hecha. Los precios son fantásticos. La cola está afuera de la puerta en una jornada de partidos, pero debido al sistema que tienen establecido, nunca es una espera larga. Pone en ridículo a gente como KFC y Morleys.

Uno de los más famosos de pollo y patatas fritas y legendaria tienda en Londres. Son las cosas. El bocadillo de pollo era jugoso, suculento y delicioso, las alas eran crujientes y riquísimo y las patatas fritas estaban crujientes. Cuando venga a la tienda se siente como en una tienda tradicional de pescado y patatas fritas.

Este lugar es una gran parte de tottenham. . . Ha estado aquí por décadas. Sirve el más sabroso pollo y costillas en kilómetros a la redonda. Experimentados a la perfección y el dueño le servirá una naturaleza cálida. . Muy agradable y amable, no importa el tiempo. Fuimos aquí antes de un partido impulsa, está a sólo una manzana del estadio antiguo (y al otro lado de la calle de la nueva). El servicio en el mostrador es rápido y atento, a pesar de la prisa loca antes de un partido. No hay asientos - tuvimos la suerte de conseguir algo de espacio (la mayoría de las personas no tome). El pollo y las patatas fritas era delicioso y abundante. Y es muy barato.

Probablemente el mejor 'Pollo' en Londres para llevar - y he estado en unos cuantos! Dirigido por dos (2) hermanos, el servicio ofrecido ha sido siempre de primera clase. La comida que se sirve es abundante, y lo mejor de todo, conocen a sus clientes. This is a filthy place. Too little restaurant space. Tables sticky and the toilet is disgusting. You have to go dow a dingy stairs to find a miniscule room with barely space to close the door. Overall the place sucks!

Gran relación calidad-precio, comida fresca no puedo ser mejor nunca haber caminado lejos necesitan más comida. El pollo seadoning es el secreto para este lugar no la típica tienda de pollo.

This place has been a mainstay on Tottenham high road for over 20 years for 2 reasons, fantastic staff and fantastic chicken. Never hear a bad word about chick king. Great tasty portions at a good price.

This place is a real gem. The staff at Chick King is most friendly and helpful. The chicken is just amazing, both tender and crispy. The servings are genereous, for a very very good price.You will not be able to sit in, but you can eat your delicious chicken inside on a counter, or take it away... Before coming right back to ask for more.We would move to Tottenham just to enjoy Chick King more often. It is THAT good.

This is my second review. Nothing has changed here. After all how can excellence be improved upon! This little gastronomic delight offers very affordable totally tasty tucker to the masses, whether it be the many discerning local regulars or the legion of football fans. In fact this eatery is such a valuable social service it should have a preservation order slapped on it. I should know. I tried cooking my own food once - I went into a severe downhill spiral. On my Doctors orders I resumed eating the Chicken 'n Chips here and made a full recovery in both mind and body. In fact I'm now "as fit as a butcher's dog". This is no exaggeration as you know how the saying goes :- "a little bit of what you fancy does you good". The future of Chick King in its present location and current terms and conditions which make it such a thriving place will be uncertain once the construction of the new Stadium commences. So I say to all the regulars who eat here - save the Tottenham Chick King. After all "there's only one Tottenham Chick King". Put a review on Trip Advisor and urge David Lammy (Tottenham MP) to keep this place "alive and kickin'". You know it makes sense!

I have eaten here many many times over many years & even if Spurs lose, it hasn't been a wasted trip. I usually have a chicken breast & chips for the princely sum of £2.35 - if food this good can be found anywhere else in London for under £2.50, i would be amazed. The portions are huge & stay hot for ages. No wonder Spurs fans are queueing out of the door & up the road at every match.For a tenner you could have your own Man Vs Food challenge (& lose).

Easy to find as its across the road from the spurs ground, best chicken you will ever taste, a completely different recipe from the regular chicken shops. Well worth a visit if you are visiting on match day although the lines will be long. It's not the sort of area to visit after dark on non match days.

Went there with a mate who recommended it, as an arsenal fan i was reluctant to go since its opposite 'White Hart Lane' but how wrong was i! First of all the customer service was fantastic. We didn't know what to try, so the man behind the counter recommended the wings, he made it sound like nothing we requested was a problem. Completely allowed us to take our time to choose. He went above and beyond to meet our needs. Was so friendly and kind. Said we could mix the 8 Piece box with wings or anything. Secondly the food was ready so quickly. It was piping hot straight out the fryer. It was cheaper than other rival chicken shops. Finally, the quality of the chicken was outstanding. The recipe chicken was so juicy and tasty. It was not heavy at all or dripping in oil like others. The taste was unique, definitely sets it apart form other stores. The Wings have to be tried. They were so crispy and spicy on the outside, yet the chicken meat was so juicy and flavoursome. By far the best wings i have had. Will be returning here very often!

Best chicken and chips in London. i travel far and wide to go to this shop. The twins know how to cook chicken and its good quality chicken not cheap rubbish !! their prices are unbelievable how cheap it is for such well cooked good quality food. The only negative thing i can think of is the parking in the area if you want to go for lunch this can be a issue. not a problem in the evening tho!

Went here for my first time but was hubby's 4th time after the match! I could see why the queue was out the door once I started to eat my chicken. Friendly staff in there, but the chicken 2 pieces I had and chips was really tasty and hardly any grease on my fingers after eating it in the shop! Will be visiting again!

You'll never head to KFC again after this! Don't be put off if there's a queue out the door, it's worth the wait.

Great tastng Chicken & Chips every time !! Owned & operated by a couple of Turk Twin brothers who are very popular locally.... Always a long Q here on a match day but, worth the short wait !! But, beware if you ask for a milkshake or no leg with ur meal ?!?!?

The chicken and chips are absolutely to die for! The seasoning on the chicken is way better than anything I've tasted before. The chips have a perfect crunch but, are fluffy in the middle. The ambience of the restaurant is wonderful and the staff are so friendly, they are all but family now. You must try this hidden gem, as you are missing out on the finest chicken in the UK!

I'm surprised no-one has written a review for Chick-King especially considering the large number of people who eat here on match days. I've been eating here for longer than I care to remember. The twin brothers who run this tidy establishment are so efficient and also pleasant guys to talk to. If Carlsberg made fried chicken eateries then this one would be the blue-print for them all. Believe me, this is probably the best fried chicken place in London, the World or possibly the Universe, mmm tasty, no more to say.
