Chicco Di Caffe in Rugby

Really good staff very friendly people, food was delicious!! Me and my partner had a full English breakfast (mega for my partner) and 2 drinks I have the special hot chocolate! and it's was lovely they ask you if you want to edit it or what you wouldn't like in your breakfast. They also do breakfast all day! As long as they are open!! Overall extremely good food and happy and joyful staff teamm Well done. Definitely gonna come back.

11/23 update. Had the Croque Monsieur again which was rather disappointing this time - well-presented as usual but really bland. Needs tastier ham and cheese. Very good service as ever. 2/23 update. Still good. Busier than last visit, so perhaps becoming more popular - not surprising given its quality. Popped in here for a tea/coffee with a friend visiting from out of town. Pleasant and friendly place with quite a wide menu. Indulged myself with a Croque Monsieur, which was served with a tasty, dressed side salad - very acceptable.

Myself and two friends came across this place on a Saturday night. We were booked in somewhere else which looked far too noisy so we were pleased to find this lovely little restaurant. The food was fabulous. Tasty, great portion sizes and all at a reasonable price. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a visit here.

Atmosphere and food were great. Only issue was my soft drink took ages to be served. Finally got it after my food had been served.

Visited for early breakfast on a Saturday morning. Food was superb as was service. It was quiet as it had just opened so no atmosphere but to be honest what atmosphere do you need at 8am on a Saturday other than it being quiet and relaxing? Will visit again.

First time visit for us. There was a good range of food. I personally liked the tower burger with chips and garlic bread with cheese. The atmosphere was good but not suitable for someone who doesn't like the smell of fish or egg (lack of ventilation when it's crowded).

me and my partner came to this restaurant for the first time. we were welcomed by a member of staff. another waitress took our order and the atmosphere was really pleasant. the food was also reasonably priced and delicious. we could also swap and substitute items we did not want. we will be returning back here again👍🏽

SUNDAY AUGUST 7th: 2023 If you want good food, attentive, friendly and professional staff, this is the place to be! Their coffee (Cappuccino) is always good, as is their orange juice its so refreshing. The breakfast is lovely, but it's the staff that makes us want to return again and again. Nothing is too much trouble, they always make my sister and I feel so welcome and looked after. They are wonderful ladies!! My day started out badly, visiting CHICCO DI CAFFE & RESTAURANT made me feel loads better! Thanks ladies for offering more than good food!!!

We visited as a large group for a Birthday dinner, none of us had been here before and saw good reviews so had high expectations. However the service was extremely disappointing.. Firstly our table wasn't ready, then they had ran out of both sauvignon wine and soda water. But the worst part was that the majority of us had ordered starters and they all came out at different times, and then some mains were served even before the starters came out - with no communication, when we told them they said the chef didn't want anything to go cold (but hadn't told us this!). Very poor. However none of us had any complaints on the meals and did really enjoy everything. The camembert starter was lovely and the beef tacos for main, but unfortunately the service did ruin our night out and we won't visit again.

We really enjoyed our meal wrap and bacon sandwich. Also best coffee ever! The service was efficient and very friendly. We just discovered this gem and will definitely be back

The restaurant we were going to was full so found this little gem by chance. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and my spaghetti bolognese was beautiful. Just under £60 for 5 meals and drinks. Very good value.

We asked the waitress if the tomato soup was homemade, she checked and confirmed that it was. So we ordered two soups at £4.95 each, along with hot drinks. The drinks were fine but when the soup came it was quite obviously not homemade, but a tinned soup, with a swirl of balsamic vinegar and a rocket leaf on top. We sent the soup back and complained to the waiting staff, who confirmed that the soup isn't made in house and took great lengths to say they wouldn't charge us for it. This is very cheeky and dishonest. We left to have lunch elsewhere.

This is the second time my family and I have visited this Caffe. The food is lovely but the service was appalling on both occasions. The last visit took 45 minutes for 2 brunch meals, 1 ham & cheese sandwich, and a beef burger to get to our table and to make it worse people were coming in after us and getting served and leaving before us.

Have walked past this restaurant/Cafe many times. Went for a late Sunday Breakfast and it was superb, complete with bread and marmalade to finish. Excellent service and very tasty. They do a delivery and take away service to.

What a beautiful cafe, tastefully decorated, really friendly staff and AMAZING food and coffee! This must also be the cleanest cafe I’ve ever been to! Highly recommended 😊

I've walked past this place so many times and I decided to go in. The place was noisy, but the food was good. I had a basic omelette. It was nice to have the options outside what I would usually put in an omelette. I also had three Bottlegreen Sparkling Elderflower Presse's. This is an Italian restaurant, so I would put it above 'pub' type food. Just been looking at the website. Easy to navigate, at least on a desktop :-).I went for 'very good' only for the fact of the noise.The people who run it can't be blamed for popularity. Will go in next time and find a quieter spot.

I keep bringing and introducing my family and friends to Chicco Di Caffe's food because the whole experience is wonderful and refreshing. Many places now in the town do mediocre food with terrible service, but here the food is high quality with it being cooked from scratch, and if a certain dish will take a bit longer the customers are told and asked if it's okay. The portions are big also, and I have taken home food to keep enjoying! I find it amazing that the price tag on the food is so reasonable! The service is always top-notch too with a particular lovely waitress doing a super job. Together with an elegantly decorated restaurant, great service, quality food and good prices I cannot recommend this place enough and will continue to keep visiting for my happy moments. This is the third time I have eaten here. Each time the food is fresh & tasty & service excellent. Price good too. What I like the best is how all the staff work as a team with the owner of the business ensuring their customers are happy.

Went here for the first time today for breakfast before Xmas shopping in Rugby. I cannot fault the food or service, it was really really good. Food was hot, not greasy and quick. Coffee was great as well. Definitely worth a visit, and will be back again after Christmas. Easy parking on Regents Street with a short walk round the corner.

Excellent menu choice and quality of food

The cafe was busy & it took along time to take our order. We waited 40 minutes for two crepes and when they did arrive they were cold. Very disappointing.

We waited 45 minutes for breakfast. To be served what I could only describe as an abomination of eggs Benedict. Eggs were clearly poached in a microwave and hard boiled. Menu said served with bacon, and it came with cold ham. Manager/owner clearly didn't care, didn't even apologise. Fried breakfast was decent, coffee was alright. Attitude was horrific. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.

Food has got consistently worse over the past few months but today's offering tops it. Pasta without sauce and only a congealed lump of cheese on top. Lasagne atrocious, luckily only a tiny portion. Sort it out Chicco!!

Great breakfast all fresh , very tasty , lovley atmosphere. The town needed a cofee shop like this . Very glad we found it . Their produce is fresh , tasty and looks good. Staff is kind and friendly. Thank you , highly reccomend it !

Lovely restaurant! Went with family and had the tasty soup of the day. The decor is beautiful but feels casual, the staff were very friendly and inviting and there are lots of options on the menu. I would definitely go back!

Really nice restaurant. Portions are generous and tasty, service is fast and friendly. The menu is pretty big, but you can just have coffee and drinks. Have been a handful of times and its consistently good, but it can get a tad crowded and busy at peak times.

Went with a friend from London for breakfast I wanted egg,chips beans burger (no bun)and bread and butter but was told I would have to order my burger separately and they would remove what I do not want (so I pay twice) ????? My friend was told the same.we asked for a breakdown to try and order but the waitress got hostile when I asked how much a slice of bread and butter was (95p) I asked how much was a loaf before we left. Looks good from outside but attitude inside and very overpriced . Not many good places to eat in rugby

We always eat at this place when we come for the day from Leicester. The food is fantastic. The menu choice is amazing. I always want to order everything on the menu! Can't wait for our next visit!

I ordered a meal for delivery, which they only do on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.I was not disappointed, the food arrived on time, was hot or chilled (as the dish required) Bruschetta had me moaning at the flavours, pasta dish was too big for one , and the salad I ordered for my next day’s lunch was delicious and complimented on by my colleagues. Will definitely be back

1 star because I couldn't give 0. Ordered steak to be delivered risky I know could dry out. How ever this was not the problem, the problem is the steak smelt and tasted like fish. Phone complained, settled on a burger to replace the steak. Surely can't get a burger wrong but they did. The bread was so wet I couldn't hold it without it falling apart. And the chips tested like play doh. Not impressed at all

Got some absolutely delicious pizzas to take away last night - perfect for a Friday night treat. They told me the are doing their full menu & delivering as well; so I will have to get a takeaway burger & chips next time!

This is a very homely and welcoming cafe. Excellent menu choice, something to suit all. I enjoy the all day breakfast. Alwasys eat here when in town centre.

Dissapointing, not a great experience. I ordered the soup of the day and it was just Heinz tomato soup with half a roll for £3.20 ... Most expensive tin of Heinz I've had! On the other hand the staff were lovely.

We rarely go to Rugby to shop but we did on Saturday . We wanted a small / snack lunch with a hot drink and after rejecting two other restaurants as we preferred the look of Chicco Di Caffe from the street.There was a varied menu to suit all tastes. Prices were not cheap, but were good value in my mind due to the high quality of the food.We had limited time as our car parking ticket would run out in about 40 minutes however I did not mention that when we placed our order. I should have and that was my fault. My wife ordered a cake and cappuccino and I ordered a Grilled vegetable wrap with Mozzarella plus a large cappuccino. My wife's cake and our cappuccino's were brought over after about 10 minutes. About 6-7 minutes later I asked the waitress when my food was coming and she said it would be served very soon, however I had to ask again later as we were then running out of time for our parking so my wife had eaten her cake by that point. It had not been prepared at that point as they were very busy . To be fair they did bring my order forward after explaining that they were busy and cooked everything from scratch in the same order as they were taken which is fair enough. They also did not charge us for the coffees which I thought was a very nice goodwill gesture from them. Cappuccinos were very good and my wife really enjoyed her cake and my warm Grilled vegetable with Mozzarella was absolutely delicious. I would thoroughly recommend Chico di Caffe as a restaurant for delicious food and a good ambiance and I look forward to eating there again when we next go to Rugby , however I would make sure I was not time pressured and we had enough time to relax and enjoy their delicious food.I would however give the following advice to them:- - Waiting staff - Make a positive statement that you cook all food from scratch and that may take a bit longer than Fast food restaurants, so that people in a hurry can order something that can be quickly served. I would have changed my order on this occasion had I realised they cooked everything from scratch as that is a good thing.- if customers order a mixture of cold food and hot food ask the customer , that ordered the cold food, did they want that now or would they rather wait for both hot and cold food to be served at the same time as the hot food which is what I prefer.

I was just passing by and noticed this rather nice looking cafe bar. I popped in as I hadn’t had breakfast and was greeted by a friendly lady who could not have been more helpful. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and fast.I will definitely visit again.
