Absolutely shocking !!! Meal ruined by shocking service, cold food, and rude waiters ! Will never return !! Food was served cold and was told because I had tried it they couldn’t change it as I had eaten some !!!! Disgusting !!!

So sorry to say but although many will use this because there are so few to choose from, the chicken is often plastic chicken and the over-use of mono sodium glutamate makes the meals in sauce really unappetising.

Picked up a meal for the family, ordered when I arrived and it was ready within 10mins! Really enjoyed the meal - honestly one of the best Chinese takeaways we’ve had - delicious!

We got a takeaway last night and wow, best Chinese we have had in ages. Delivery was quicker than they said, food was hot and every dish was tasty and just as we expected. We have now found a new favourite takeaway

Poor takeaway, arrived late, items missing, satay soggy. Curry was really nice but other items average

Ordered takeaway food for delivery for several of us last night. Having used chi a few times before we decided to again. The food is on another level to your normal Chinese takeaways. I find most Chinese takeaways Use mainly the same ingredients and suppliers as they all taste very similar. Not chi though. I am aware they source their meat locally and what a difference. The beef and chicken is tender and flavourful. The service is top notch. Yes the dishes are slightly more expensive than most Chinese takeaways but they’re in a different league in terms of flavour. My in laws said it was the best Chinese food they’ve ever tasted and ext time we stay with them they won’t get Chinese as it’ll never compete with chi! Also you can phone, order and pay during the day which guarantees you a spot as it’s a well known local gem so it’s very busy. 10/10 once again for chi for delivering an outstanding meal.

Just had our first takeaway from Chi Restaurant in Kenton. Delivered on time and absolutely first class!

Since they closed their main restaurant, the quality of food has plummeted. We used to have take outs quite often but today’s awful food will be the last. Even by take away standards, the food was quick, with a driver meeting us in a car park several miles away from the Chi premises. The food was not freshly cooked - virtually all microwaved - and tasted like it. Do not order food from this “restaurant” because you don’t know where it came from and you will undoubtedly be ripped off.

Excellent food delivered early. Brilliant service. Thank you so much! In these times of corona virus so much appreciated. Food was so tasty, fresh and hot. I hope even after all this they will carry on the delivery service.

What can i say about this amazing restaurant. From reserving the table to sitting down after the meal, the whole experience was brilliant. Staff offered us alternatives to accommodate dietary requirements. The food spoke for itself, fresh, tastey and plentyful. The atmosphere is wonderful and we will definately be return when we are next in the area. Remember to look at the desserts too

This is our favourite family destination when we’re able to get together, although just four of us we always aim to book a table at Chi because it’s the best food in the best environment with the best service. One of our party is disabled and we need to request a specific table near the toilets, and this requirement is always met. The quality of food is exceptional, a real cut above the rest, if you’re looking for somewhere different with that extra touch of class, look no further, this place is faultless...perfect!! I recommend crispy duck to share for starters followed by crispy chicken in lemon sauce. Fantastic!!

Have wanted to try this upmarket Chinese for a while so no better time than for a celebration. Even at 6.30 on Sat eve there were several other celebratory party tables dining. Popular place and easy to understand as the food is delicious. Easy atmosphere, lots of staff and a nice feel. I chose the fish cakes as starter which were lovely - 3 small ones packed with fish and accompanied by a small salad. Then chicken and fried rice - very generous portions and beautifully prepared. Would be happy to be treated again! Take care accessing rear car park as entrance is narrow but lighting and path to restaurant entrance on right hand side.,

Wanted to do something different for New Year’s Eve so booked a table at chi. Had been here before so knew what we were getting so booked ahead. To be honest we couldn’t fault this establishment , despite a busy service , great service , fab food and overall a good way to spend New Year’s Eve. Will certainly return and this has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Devon ! Thanks

We had a most wonderful evening here with friends for a birthday meal. I must admit I had not known about this restaurant prior to this visit. On arrival we received a lovely friendly welcome and were shown to our table. Drinks were ordered. Staff were friendly and good humoured. The menu is not extensive but the food is delicious. All of us really enjoyed our meals and we felt comfortably full at the end of the evening. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and we will return either as a group or just the two of us.

Had a wonderful meal here tonight. Well presented and delicious tastes. The banana fritter was perfection!! Very pleasant and efficient staff. Extremely clean and great decor. Not cheap but then it’s not a Chinese takeaway. And good sized portions. Came here years ago, certainly won’t leave it so long next time!

We celebrated two of our friends birthdays here. Food was fantastic, fresh, tasty, well presented. We opted for the set menu and the food was plentiful. Special effort was made for birthdays with an illuminated table sign and fresh fruit sparkling platter.Service was friendly, efficient and not over fussy. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

What can I say about my visit. The food was the best ever. Owner and Staff were friendly, attentive, pleasant and always had a smile for us. The flavours of each item of food we tried was phenomenal. More than highly recommend it, I would say that it is a MUST. A lovely evening on every level.

I took for guests to Chi for a birthday celebration and the food and service did not disappoint. The mixed starters are excellent and their was a few specials on offer. The main courses are not cheap but very substantial and so four mains between five was ample. Can't wait to go again.

Weird parking at the back through a narrow entrance. Then an interesting walk through the gardens (which need a bit of upkeep) and the restaurant takes you by surprise. Really well decorated and kept. Plenty of attentive staff and the hello in Chinese learnt on a recent trip went down well. Extensive menu that is a little pricey...bottle of beer over £4 is steep for a Chinese restaurant. Great service and most importantly, great food. have to say its a while since i had Chinese food because it all tastes kinda 'samey'. Not here. Definitely worth a visit.

great food and wonderful service; if they can do why cant all the others. there are so many mediocre restaurants around this is definitely not one of them.

Much as I enjoy Chinese food, it all tastes much the same wherever you eat because they all buy from the same wholesaler. Chi is different because everything seems to be freshly prepared on the premises. This makes the food taste far better than just about any Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in, plus the service is excellent. I couldn't praise it more.

We eat here quite often and the food is always very good. The service is good and staff are friendly and polite.

I really enjoyed the food here. Never been here to eat only had a take away and it was very good. Peking duck was delicious as was every dish we tried. The effort they made with the pudding for a birthday celebration was very welcome. A lovey fruit platter with a firework and a free celebratory drink.

This was our first visit, having driven through Kenton several times. Both myself and my partner had a great meal in lovely surroundings with staff who couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. And the food was superb. We will certainly return for another visit.

We are becoming fairly regular visitors to this lovely restaurant. The owner,who is very much front of house, is delightful, the waitresses are great and the food is the best around. One of my favourite places to eat in Devon - if you haven't eaten there you should try it! You won't be disappointed.

The last time we came here we enjoyed it so much we decided to come back. We are so pleased we did as the service and food was again exceptional. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. The staff were so friendly and incredibly accommodating. What a lovely place. The last time we came we were pregnant and this time we came back with our baby and they looked after us so well.

Chi is a high class Chinese restaurant putting freshness of ingredients first. All of the dishes are cooked to perfection with clean flavours and presentation. I like the authentic use of chilli as well which is often forgotten in the UK.

Absolutely brilliant. Food wow. Staff so friendly. Nothing was a problem as soon as you walked in you felt welcome. Everything was spotless.

Having made a booking at the Chi Restaurant for a two night stay we found that on arrival at 8am the reception was shut and no one around to help not even the housekeeper. After two phone calls and returning at 11:15am we were told the the housekeeper would not be arriving untill 13:30pm to get our rooms ready, again the reception area was still shut. This hotel is the other side of the river in Exmouth, if you book this hotel be warned when they say they are 10 mins away from the Esplanade in Exmouth, what they mean is 10 mins was either the walk to the station or 10 min by ferry, which the last ferry back in the summer is at 16:40pm. At this point we decided due to poor service or should I say no service we drove the 16 miles to Exmouth and found better suited accommodation.

We are staying in the village and booked for 8 including 6 children, we got given such s warm welcome. Service was outstanding and I can’t praise the food enough.

A table of 20 people, but no compromise on delicious food and excellent service - thanks for a very enjoyable evening

This is a restaurant that maintains a quality of food and service that is very rare.

We went here for a spontaneous meal out. The food and service was absolutely fantastic. So tasty and really nice to go out for Chinese instead of always having takeaway.

We have been coming here for a few years and have never had a bad meal. So as always, a top notch place to eat. The food is very good and the staff are welcoming and friendly which gives a good atmosphere. Love the quirky entrance. They also do Takeaway.

Went here for a family meal in February. Food delicious and excellent service from friendly staff. Very attractive decor gives lovely atmosphere. Very clean. Gets very busy so may need to book in advance. Will be going again very soon.

We ate at the Chi Restaurant with our family last night. We picked the place solely based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The food, the service, the decor was perfect. The staff were so helpful and made us feel so welcome. The food was perfect. Beautifully cooked. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant high enough.

First time we had been to Chai for several years but it was every bit as good as we remembered if not better! A Wednesday evening, fairly quiet, but still a lovely place to eat. Very friendly and helpful staff but it is the food that makes this place special. Not cheap but in my opinion still very good value for money. The barbecue spare ribs as a starter were wonderful, the duck in plum sauce and the sweet and sour chicken were both fantastic. If you haven't eaten here you should. You will not be disappointed. Can't wait to go back!!!

Absolutely brilliant meal and service.

Just had an excellent meal, generous portions, beautifully cooked and presented. Ample parking and I would recommend this restaurant whole heartedly.

Food was well presented and hot. Waitress were very polite and attentive. I had the crispy shreded duck with sweet chilli for starters and then fillet beef with black pepper sauce and egg noodles. It was all very nice. It was our sons 21st Birthday and they stbrought out fresh fruit with a large sparkler in it.

Went here as a spare of the moment visit as we are staying at a holiday park just up the road (Crofton Park, this is not a recommendation we won’t be staying on the park again) and left with nowhere to eat on site at 8 o’clock we had a drive out and found this place. Staff very accommodating and friendly. They were closing the kitchen as it was mid week and not overly busy but agreed to seat us. The food was fantastic and plentiful and the children ate well and we had a great meal too. Good value for money. As far as Chinese food goes was fair price too. The restaurant has a great ambience and if in the area again I would certainly re visit. Keep doing what you guys are doing. They have a b&b; on site too I can’t say personally what this is like as I haven’t stayed there but I’d say if they run it like the restaurant it would be worth the stay. These people know how to make you feel welcome. (Maybe they should give some lessons in customer care to the management at Crofton Park) well done guys great night out in the end thanks to you .

Can't recommend this fabulous Chinese Restaurant enough. We visit as often as we can, the most gorgeous freshly cooked food, a beautifully kept kitchen which can be seen upon arrival. The most attentive, friendly and efficient staff, cannot fault this lovely place and would highly recommend for a great dining experience. Thank you Sui and your amazing team.

As you may see in my other reviews, we moved to the area in May and have tried a few places to eat. Most have been very good and only one poor one.I heard of this place from a work collegue so thought why not try it. We arrived 15 minutes late and the staff we ok and very friendly, we sat at our table and the place was full which i thought was a good sign. We were first offered water and then they asked if we wanted drinks, which i thought was nice as usually other places you have to ask for water. A nice selection of various dishes and starters which we all enjoyed. No room for desert as we were all full up. The quality of the food was excellent as were all the staff who came around numerous times to ask if they could top up our water. Food was served quickly and there was a good number of staff looking after everyone. I am glad we tried it and it will definately be on our regular list to visit, Highly recommend

We have visited Chi twice recently and on both occasions been very impressed. The service was brilliant from beginning to end despite the restaurant being full. The food is amazing, fresh and full of flavor. A little more classy than the average Chinese restaurant.

Well what do I say about chi. It's very rare you go anywhere these days and get exquisite service and outstanding food whereby even when busy you are made to feel special. Chi has really impressed us on both service and the sheer press ration and quality of the food. The owners here should really be proud of what they have achieved and deliever. I'd passed by the building three days before hand - three times in one day. From the name, I thought it was a tai chi place, and dismissed it.

We took a chance and popped in to see if they had a table!... the staff were all very pleasant and friendly!.. they should us to a table immediately!... everything we ate was superb!... the duck in plum sauce was divine!...high class Chinese would definitely return!

Everything here is great for any occasion, the restaurant has an unusual ability to be quiet and intimate as well as being warm and social. The staff without exception are helpful and friendly as for the food the best compliment i can give it is i am not usually keen on chinese food but because of the exceptional quality here i chose it for my birthday dinner.

A friend and I went to Chi and had the most delicious supper. The Menu was so tempting we actually ordered more than we could eat, one of the best Cantonese meals we have had. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we will definitely re visit when in the area. Thank you everyone at Chi

Room a little cramped and old could do with a Reno. Clean, neat and tidy. Staff bend over backwards to be of assistance. Restaurant was amazing - the presentation and quality was top notch. Value for money. Close to Powderham Castle that is well worth a visit for those interested in seriously old historic places.

Went there on the advice of TripAdvisor for a last minute booking for a birthday and we was not disappointed. Beautiful food with extremely welcoming hosts. I would definitely go back. So glad we found it.

My family and friends have been coming to this amazing place for many years, we have never been disappointed,,the moment you walk into Chi you are made to feel very welcome, beautiful setting .Very clean and tidy . the food is excellent quality, to a high level of cooking and standard. meat is extremely tender, all food is presented beautifully,, excellent chefs that must take great pride in what they are able to achieve. The staff are always happy,polite and very friendly, the owners are very lovely also, they have worked extremely hard to get this place to the high standards that it deserves. It also has accommodation upstairs , which is just perfect for a treat after you have eaten, breakfast is also very nice, choice of full English or their own traditional breakfast, after a walk around the village than onto powderham castle . My husband and other family members stay here on special occasions . Not expensive! We tell everyone we know about this great find and feedback is top quality 5 * Thank you very much for another superb evening . Hope to see you soon.

Came to Sidmouth for the weekend and was looking for somewhere to have a nice Chinese within a 15 mile distance. Some quite poor ones local (Phoenix in particular looked disgusting!), but found this one on Trip Advisor a bit of a drive away. Gave it a whirl and was not disappointed! Had the duck to start and then ordered a couple of mains (lemon chicken and sizzling fillet beef in honey spicy sauce). Got one with noodles and one with rice. Loads of food and it was all so fresh and well cooked. You could also tell the ingredients were rally high quality. The beef truly was filler beef and the chicken was moist and tasty which is sometimes unusual for a Chinese restaurant as much of the food tends to be cooked earlier. Servers happy to refill noodles and rice if wanted. I then somehow squeezed in a banana fritter which was very tasty.It's a shame we have no plans to go back to Sidmouth as I would certainly come back to eat here! Maybe one day. Honestly the best Chinese I've eaten ever and I'm a big lover of Chinese. If you are in the area go there!!!!

Visited on a Saturday night in May as part of a birthday party of 8. The moment we arrived and thoughout the staff were polite, friendly and very attentive. The restaurant itself is very smart. The food was really lovely and was delivered to the table in good time. We were all very impressed. I don't get around to writing many reviews but I think this place deserves it. I would recommend and return.

We booked in for a last minute meal for 2 at the restaurant. The staff are amazing and pay attention to detail, always quick service and a smile on their face. Nothing is too much to ask of them. The food is exceptional, presentation is great and food is always quick to come out.

Fantastic and beautifully prepared meal with good size portions. Imaginative menu suitable for all tastes.Nothing was too much trouble and they accommodated our large family without batting an eyelid. Well done and we will not hesitate to return for another very enjoyable meal.

Our first visit was in 2016 we thought that we would try the Chinese restaurant because we heard so many good things about it. When we came to the entrance doors a waiter opened the door for us and he took us into the waiting room and we ordered some drinks. When we tasted the food it was brilliant the best Chinese in Devon it is definitely worth the money

We moved to Shaldon n December and since then, have been craving good Chinese food, which we could find in abundance in London. We asked our local coffee shop owner (Dominic of the wonderful Coffee Rush) for a recommendation and whilst he hadn't visited Chi himself, his discerning regulars had spoken about it and used it as a birthday venue, so he felt confident it would deliver. We visited yesterday evening with our 4 year old daughter and deliver it did.Chi is situated adjacent to Powderham Castle, so in a beautiful area. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the decor was lovely and the premises were obviously clean. You can see into the kitchen from reception and the outside windows and that too was clean, well organised and confidence-inspiring.Our picky daughter pretty much scoffed the lot of the chicken fried rice portion they did for her. My crispy chilli duck starter was amazing and my husband's prawn toasts weren't the prawn "mush" on thin sliced white you get Pre-prepared from the local takeaway, but home-prepared and cooked slices of deliciousness. Main courses were equally attractive and tasty and when we were finished, we all agreed that we would most definitely be back (soon) and that it rivalled the best Oriental restaurants we'd eaten in. Sadly we didn't leave room for the Toffee Apple dessert, but next time...........Chi is slightly dearer than some restaurants, but in our view worth every penny and worth the drive to get there. In this case you most definitely get what you pay for.Thank you for a lovely dining experience. We will be back!

I have reviewed this restaurant a number of times after eating there since they have opened on numerous occasions and cannot believe people have left bad feedback about it! OK, everyone has a bad day/night occasionally but as the management feedback says they do all they could to rectify the situation there and then - can you REALLY ask for more?We used to live very close by and know Soo and Steven run a very tight ship, professionally and with some of the best levels of service and quality and presentation of food I have experienced in a restaurant of this type.OK, it may be a little more expensive than a 'standard' Chinese prices but it's VERY well worth it for a clean, tidy and well decorated welcoming dining area with excellent food and service - 5* for me every single time! People who think that prices are expensive anywhere should really look at the menu BEFORE they dine and decide this - not hard is it!They also own the Mei Lei takeaway in nearby Dawlish which serves the same quality of food so if you don't want formal dining then this is the place to go!Jerry & Liz

Another great meal! Great service, attentive staff but not interruptive. Amazing food! We shared a starter from the specials menu, which was gorgeous, crispy chilli duck. I wanted more.Main course was delicious, well cooked with good quality steak. We had the famous toffee apples for desert, which do take some time to make, but are worth the wait! You cannot come here and not try them. The staff made sure we were kept up to date on their progress, but to be honest we didn't mind as we were so full!Plenty parking and a friendly welcome. We will be back soon!

Great food and great service too. We had our works Christmas party here and were very impressed. Our waiter for the eve was Matt who did a grand job. Thank you, will definitely visit again.

While Chi's main business is as a restaurant it also has guest rooms upstairs. I stayed over New Year which perhaps was not completely representative of a typical night there as unusually there was no breakfast provided the next morning (I knew this in advance though) and there were quite a few comings and goings during the night. I was in 'Blossom' (each room is named after a flowering plant) and it was warm and comfortable with a good-sized bed, free WIFI, a TV with access to many channels and a good, hot shower as well as tea and biscuits. I have stayed there before but have only tried the restaurant once and that seemed fine too. Kenton itself is quite a nice little village - Roedean restaurant is very close by (and has a very good reputation) and the Dolphin Inn is across the road. It's a short walk up to Powderham Castle and Farm Shop and Starcross and it's train connection to Exeter and ferries to Exmouth is 5 minutes by bus or a 30 minute walk (though a little daunting at night as there are no streetlamps in the stretch of countryside between the two villages). Chi is a realistic option as it's very affordable accommodation and it's well situated, secure and comfortable if you need a place to stay in the area.

What a wonderful start to the festive season, The food was excellent and the service was very good very attentive staff and nothing was too much trouble, would highly recommend a visit, I believe they also offer a takeaway service.

We had a lovely meal recently at Chi. We went for the Xmas Special set menu. It was delicious - everything was very fresh. The children had the duck for the main course which they enjoyed too and they're extremely fussy! The time between courses was perfect and we were offered refills on the main courses but that wasn't needed. We all had a lovely evening. The price per head taking into account drinks, starters, puddings, teas and coffees is what I'd expect to pay for fresh, quality food. Will be back again soon.

We have been eating at Chi for around 10 years now and it has always been absolutely excellent every time. In fact we appreciate the whole Chi experience so much that we chose it for our Wedding Reception. Yes, we have been together a long time and finally got around to getting married on 21 October. We discussed the arrangements and menu with Sui several months before the event and nothing was too much trouble. On the day, there were 64 of us altogether and everyone had a wonderful time. The atmosphere and ambience was superb. All of our friends and family without exception were amazed at the quality of the food. We started with canapes and Prosecco as people arrived. Then we sat down and had crispy pork belly, Thai chicken curry, sizzling beef fillet, duck and sea bass dishes as well as rice, noodles and green vegetables, all before the speeches and dessert. Afterwards, there was dancing and music in the back bar whilst others chatted at their tables.The whole evening exceeded our best hopes and expectations. The food and staff service was exceptional. Thank you Sui, Steve and Staff for a wonderful evening.

The ambience, the service, the setting and most importantly the food are all sensational. Chi Oriental Restaurant is something really special. If you are on business in Exeter or holidaying in the Starcross, Dawlish Warren or Dawlish area please do make the effort to visit Chi in the quaint village of Kenton, home to Powderham Castle. All the dishes are fantastic. We particularly enjoy the fish, prawn and scallop dishes, so fresh and delicately flavoured with Asian fragances without being over-powering. Make sure that you book in advance not to be disapponted.

I don't normally complain but I will make an exception after this let-down. Out of 7 meals ordered 4 were inedible. The edible food was very average at best and vastly over-priced for what it was. The service was painfully slow and disorganised (2 meals placed on the table and allowed to go cold before any more arrived is just one example). The staff were polite but poorly trained and lacking in knowledge. A dreadful experience and embarrassing for me and my guests. Never ever again! The people running this establishment should find something else to do more suited to their level of ability.

We decided as a family to eat here on Friday night & how disappointed we were.The starters were excellent couldn't fault anything after that it all went down hill.Main course we asked for no nuts in one of the dishes & to our horror the dish arrived with cashew nuts we then had to wait for another dish to be made.Other main courses were so bland & tasteless.We ordered Bailey's & ice and were only given a half measure.You really need to listen to your customers requirements better, and train staff better.The whole meal was so overpriced I'm sorry to say we will not be returning,.

The restaurant is clean and relaxed, servis is good and friendly, both our shared starter and the main courses were hot and had obviously fresh vegetables in the dishes, very nice.

From the time of booking a table for the 4 of us the whole experience was excellent. We were allowed to have the set menu for 4 for the 3 meat eaters of us with the other choosing the veggie selection. These menu's provided us with an excellent selection of well cooked and presented food. The service matched the food, we will be back.

After initial visit, we were so delighted with our meal that we booked a family dinner to celebrate an 80th birthday. There were 8 of us. The meal was excellent and every dish was delicious. We were given the right amount of attention. We brought a home made cake with us and they brought it out with an indoor firework.

As a traveller all over the uk I get to try allot of Chinese, Cantonese, Asian restaurants. The service in this restaurant was very good. I got offered chopsticks which is a nice surprise as I find it very disappointing when only a knife and fork is offered.The only negative is the food. Very bland and expensive for what they offered. It will not set you fire with excitement. As us Brits are getting more and more well travelled we would like authentic tasty seasonal food not the generic Chinese menu from 25 years ago.

From the illuminated pond on the way in from the car park to the spacious dining area, you will be impressed by the decor.Service is efficient and friendly and the dishes generous in size.Not cheap but reasonable value.

The staff are lovely and attentive. The accommodation is first class. The food is amazing . Would stay here and also eat here. Great place.

This is such a nice restaurant. Fresh Chinese food - quite a limited menu but that means they are good at what they cook!We have been here a few times. The 'lazy susan' is a great idea for sharing dishes. I am a really fussy eater and the food is tasty and fresh.Only tip is they need to offer more crackers (8 crackers between 4 people!) We will be visiting again.

We had a very fast service, although they were busy, however, it did not feel at all rushed, the food came out quickly and it was amazing. I would highly recommend going to this restaurant , the best Chinese food and I am happy to pay every penny for the food and service-Highly recommend.

I took my wife to the chi restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and was disappointed with the quality of the food,compared to the hoi shing restaurant it was a shame as we eat out a lot and live locally in Dawlish. The decor and feel of the restaurant was lovely but food didn't match expectations

Amazing,beautiful place to eat with extremely friendly staff we could not of asked for better food or service for our family of 5 with a 4 year old they catered for him and us perfectly after being stuck in a few hours traffic it was a brilliant stress reliever many thanks.

The staff at this hidden gem of a restaurant couldn't have done more to make sure my birthday dinner was a great experience.Enjoyed drinks in the garden, followed by beautifully presented and tasty food served in stylish surroundings.The service was fantastic and when the staff realised it was my birthday they brought out a platter of fresh fruit decorated with indoor fireworks and sang 'Happy Birthday'.Make sure you're really hungry when you eat here as the portions are generous and the rice is replenished as much as you want.

Service here second to none, everyone greeted with a sincere smile.Quality if food outstanding.Npt only Chinese but English too.I had chicken and chips which was divine.If you have a sweet tooth the toffee apple for desert is equally divine.Plenty of parking too

We had dinner here on a Sunday evening as there wasn't a lot of other places open. The food was so tasty and for what we ordered reasonably priced! The restaurant wasn't busy at the time and the service was incredible! Defiantly worth a visit!

The food was stunning and the service was excellent they bought my desert out to me with a sparkling candle and sang happy birthday to me my table was decorated ready with happy 40th sequins fantastic the price was excellent too

Certainly the best Chinese restaurant I have experienced in this area. The quality IS reflected in their prices but if, like me, you don't mind paying where justified, you will enjoy Chi. The staff, ambiance, food quality and presentation are all excellent but..... one minor suggestion... The Salt and Pepper Squid (this visit) was somewhat overcooked and so a bit on the 'cheewey' side!
