Lovely place to have a family meal. The food was delicious, the staff very helpful and, we had a lovely time with our families. We were impressed by the staff as nothing was too much trouble for them. They're a child friendly place and had lots of parking. We will definitely be back. Thank you

I had a wonderful experience. Despite being midweek and a little quiet the manager was a perfect hostess. Really lovely. As was the young barman. The food was delicious. Really really good. Our group of 9 ladies were celebrating a 60th birthday for one and another birthday too. Mike. Josh & Sara were front of house and the service was spot on. Compliments to the chefs. Jonah & Chris, we all enjoyed our menu choices. The evening was made special as the birthday girls received a glass of complimentary fizz and then we had two dessert platters. Very attentive. I don't usually have time to write reviews but for the Cheshire Grill at Lach Dennis, Northwich, I will make an exception. I've just been there for a business lunch and the service and the food were exceptional. The best belly pork I have tasted in many years (thanks to Chris and Hiro the chefs!) Hope, our waitress was also warm and welcoming and appropriately attentive. It's also such a lovely venue, tastefully decorated and really comfortable. I will certainly be visiting again soon!

Went for late lunch, had the dog with us after a nice walk. Super dog friendly (water and treats offered too) - dog area was lovely, calm, warm and we felt part of the pub atmosphere, not shoved aside in a dog tap room like some pubs. Menu was great, had the crispy pork which was delicious and beautifully done. Hope, our waitress, was fab - friendly and knowledge about the dishes when we asked questions whilst choosing. Ultra slow service from start to finish . Staff clearly haven't had any training, they are polite with a lack of confidence. Waiting 90 minutes for my first taste of food.(I asked for mixed vegetables and got salad, couldn't bring myself to send it back as it took so long to arrive!) Waited over half an hour for dessert brownies had gone cold and hard ,custard had turned into a thick blob. Would not recommend or go back. Really disappointed.

First time eating in this beautiful restaurant, there was a wonderful team looking after us. The food was delicious I had the squid and it was so tender. the pork belly, was a delight. Nipped in on a Saturday night. We were politely greeted and seated, even though we hadn’t booked, Our server was polite, informative and attentive. I chose a Tomahawk steak, my better half a fillet, both cooked to our liking and vey tasty. I can’t comment on starters or deserts as I didn’t have them, though what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked nice. The atmosphere was nice, it was fairly busy but not overly loud so you could still hold a conversation, nice bit of background music, slightly dimmed lighting etc. Added point to note, we also tried another steak venue fairly local to this (if you’re in the area you’ll know), as it is just a little closer to home. A 6pm at night, despite being less than half full, we were told it would be a 2 1/2 hour wait, even though there was only 2 of us, no attempt to try and accommodate at all, won’t be going there again.

Great place,staff are on Parr with the best, However this restaurant has plenty of alternatives in the food department besides its main theme which is steaks,,,, But this is its down fall,and pub that specialises in one type of food should excel in that food and this case was STEAKS, and they failed, I asked for my steak medium? Not the food I expected as the decor, location and staff are all top notch. Sunday lunch is a bit hit and miss anywhere, but this wasn't up to scratch. Admittedly they know what they are doing with meat but the accompaniments were either undercooked or old/overcooked, tasted weird or barely had any flavour. Managed to over microwave the £7+ Chocolate fudge Cake prompting the review.

Food great service fantastic but there was one huge problem lots of uncontrolled children running riot screaming and shouting and jumping down some wooden steps making a huge thud every time they did it this went on for almost two hours other customers were getting very annoyed also but not one of the parents said or did anything to control their kids just as they were leaving one mumbled a sorry about the noisy kids the staff should of told them to sort their kids out they ruined the night for a lot of people if you like dining surrounded by kids running wild this is the place for you avoid go somewhere where you can get some peace

We ended up here after a car crash exactly a year ago today, I have been meaning to leave a review as promised. The owner invited us to wait for the recovery car at the pub and they were (manager and staff) kind enough to wait with us even after closing for the car to come so we could go home. The food was lovely, we had Lunch and dinner, tea, drinks and snacks. The food was amazing, I only have videos and no photos of the food so I can’t upload unfortunately. Lovely meal after I won a £50 gift card from their Facebook competition. We had Sunday lunch and a couple of cocktails.
