The food was delicious, we even took home some Turkish pastries 😋😋😋. The owner was very friendly as we exchanged the few Turkish words I could remember from 20+ years ago. We'll be back.

Super lovely cafe, would definitely recommend you going! It’s relatively cheap and the food is absolutely delicious. The staff there are so lovely and attentive. We both got the Turkish breakfast. The bread was so soft and warm. Amazing tasting food and the hot drinks were delectable. Honestly among the best I’ve had in Edinburgh

Tasty filling breakfasts, both full Scottish & Turkish, couldn't say which best. Return visits essential. Different Baclava's & Turkish cakes and apple pies, all yum. Seriously excellent coffee tho my fave drink apple tea! Such friendly people, fast pleasant service, impressive value for money. Wonderful gifts, jams, (apricot yum) also got wee tea set for two, decorated tea glasses, matching glass saucers, two tiny decorated teaspoons, and packet of apple tea. So pretty. Also got, *fresh* from Turkey, variety packet of Loukoumi (Turkish Delight) for family christmas table. Small to large ceramic wall plaques, & vases with traditional floral geometric designs available.

Wonderful quaint shop with fresh, delicious food in a charming setting. It is cozy with wonderful service. We didn't feel rushed and felt taken care of. The owner is wonderful to visit with. Overall, I highly recommend.

Stumbled upon this place today and went in for lunch with our 11 year old daughter. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. The Turkish bagel and apple tea were particularly amazing. The cafe also had a good range of baklava, Turkish delights, teas, etc. to buy and take away. If I'm in the area again I will definitely pop in!

Decent honest food, not too expensive.

This is a lovely cafe. The people are friendly and you can be assured of good wholesome food. It is a very pleasant peaceful place to chat with friends and enjoy breakfast or lunch and a cup of coffee etc. They also ask on the menu to make them aware of any food allergies. Thoroughly recommended.

A lovely wee cafe. We got 4 x breakfasts and everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. They do a Turkish breakfast which I'll definitely be trying next time. My cooked breakfast was great though so no regrets. Really friendly staff who serve you, check in to see if you want anything else, but don't pester or rush you which I really appreciate. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Exactly what we wanted, a full English breakfast. The coffee is excellent and employees friendly. I recomend you go here for breakfast/brunch. There seems to be a veraity of tasty turkish food aswel we didnt get the chance to try.

Cherry's was recommended by our AirBnB host as having one of the best breakfasts and I have to say I agree. The coffee was amazing, better than the national chains. Whilst it may look like an ordinary cafe from the outside - If you walk through the doors you're in for a delicious treat!

oh my.. I just wanted a coffee, but this cake wanted me to buy it. it's called Shamali and it's basically 40% semolina, 40% syrup and 20% heaven. don't bother trying to find it. I'm buying it all! coffee was really good as well, so I shall come back and try more of the foods.. I LOVE this place!

Really good authentic Turkish breakfast and you get options of traditional Scottish and the All Day Breakfast. Also they offer traditional Turkish coffee. They also have vegetarian breakfast options, highly recommended. Really friendly staff and very cosy cafe just on London Road.

Visited today for the 1st. I never realised there was a Turkish connection with this cafe. I had the Turk Bagel which is a sesame covered bagel served with scrambled eggs with tomato, cheese and Sucuk (a spicy Turkish sausage somewhat like pepperoni), and a side salad. Let's start with the bagel, which I believe is called a Simit. It was 'to die for'. If you like sesame seeds, you will love this. The bagel had a lovely crumb too. The scrambled eggs was very tasty, flavoured with the sausage. I have had Sucuk before, it's great. Lovely little fresh salad on the side. A nice healthy brunch. I had peppermint tea and a fruit Smoothie also. The Smoothie was really good. My Fiancé had an omelette, which she really liked, a coffee and a Smoothie too. All that food for £25. Great value. There were home made cakes too, they looked great but we had no space left. I'll be keen to come back and have a cooked breakfast. It comes across as a wholesome place that will serve everything with love. The staff were pleasant and charming. I have no issues recommending, I will be back soon 🙏❤️

Found it by accident, but OMG! Bacon roll is just tastes like heaven! The bread is soft like a cloud and decent size. Coffee also quite a high quality, staff is very friendly and helpful. Just love it!

Below Average food. We had omelette and it was bad. Milk shakes and dessert were good. Good staff and location. Place seem overrated for the food.

Iv lived in Edinburgh for ten years and just recently found cherrys cafe. I love it! Staff are wonderful, great coffee, the best baklava you could imagine and i had a very tasty vegetarian fry this morning. Chilled family-run feel. Highly recommend :)

Lovely little cafe with a great selection and fantastic service - the spiced chai latte was sooo good, and the spicy chicken paninis were delicious, relaxed atmosphere, great service, polite and friendly staff and a beautiful selection of baklava to boot - definitely would recommend

Only had a sliced sausage roll and a can of iron brew but both the sausage and the roll were soft and the iron brew was automatically served in a glass. Only improvement would be a little butter on the roll. Was delicious and I will definitely be back 😋

Amazing coffee and the desserts are to die for! Definitely a must try! It's a hidden gem with lovely friendly staff. Reasonably priced for the location and seating is available inside and out although it is limited.

Pues un café muy majo, familiar, el dueño es muy servicial y está bien. Aquí veis un cruasán tostado de bacon y queso, y un café con leche. Lo he encontrado de casualidad, ya que empezaba como a medio lloviznar y no me apetecía nada mojarme. Y mira tú por dónde, he encontrado un sitio chulo. Espero que os guste.

Very clean and tidy. Gentle polite and efficient service. I had an all day breakfast but was quite tempted by the beautiful array of homebaked scones, pastries, and cakes. I didn't ask if they were baked on the premises, but they all looked delicious.

A great deal for the price. Not too bad taste wise but some of the meat was a little gummy and mushy for my tastes. Still a nice overall breakfast on the go.
