One of the finest restaurants to have a proper south Indian cuisine. Pleased with the taste and service.

I would give this place 3.5 if I could. I thought it was OK and I might come back. I had the - devil paneer. It was OK. Spicy. Not like the chilli paneer I wanted - veggie kothu. It was OK. Spicy - oreo milkshake. It was good. Plenty of veggie options and worth trying if in the area.

South indian meals was good. Never order their pav bhaji

The food was so delicious and tasty, especially paneer chilli was great. Dosa was really nice and crispy. There was very good response from the service staff.

Fantastic Dosa Spot! For the last 10 years, I've been a regular at Chennai Srilalitha, and it's simply the best dosa place around. Their Kaaraikkudi Dosa is a must-try, a unique invention by the owner that's just delicious. Plus, they make their own podi powder in-house, which adds an extra punch to every bite. I've tried dosas all over, including in India, but nothing compares to this place. The owner is super friendly and down-to-earth, which adds to the whole experience. If you're looking for a no-fuss, authentic dosa joint, this is it! Highly recommend giving it a try!

Excellent South Indian food, the best dosa I've ever had! I was visiting the area for a confernce at Northwick Park hospital. It's a short walk from here so ideally placed. It was so good I came back on two separate occasions. Highly recommend.

I used to love this restaurant before. I don't want to go here anymore. With the increase in demand, they have neither improved the atmosphere nor the service. The staff is not very friendly, and seems very disinterested in even serving. It's always congested and we have to call for service again and again. Last time, I asked for a filter coffee, they didn't mention it wasn't available and they brought normal coffee. I sent it back, and again they brought similar coffee. Later they mentioned that they don't do special coffee these days, but in the bill they were still charging me for special coffee. The taste has degraded as well.

I think this is definitely overhyped. The chutneys were all watered down nd the food didn’t actually have that much flavour. The service is also awful I asked three waiters for water… I left without water. I asked for more chutney and nothing came

Nice cheap place, good vegetarian food, chairs and atmosphere cheap and so is the food.

If you only care about great authentic south Indian food and don't mind not having chandeliers and unnecessary sophistication then This Is Your Place. Always a hit, been here multiple times and it doesn't fail to impress with the food. There is something for everyone even the uninitiated in authentic south Indian food, so would recommend trying it.

It took me by surprise when I visited Amersham. I’ll think twice to try Indian fast foods in UK because the taste won’t be same even in Saravana Bhavan . But this restaurant is on par with any South Indian restaurants in India . Loved the dosa and chutney ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely lovely food & very nice quick waitress. Extremely clean & huge choice. Loads of different dosa's that we had not had before. I had a spring vegetable dosa & a salty Lassi. My husband had a mushroom dosa & a lovely Kulfi for pudding. All was a very good cheap price. Strongly recommend this place.

What a lovely restaurant!! I was allowed to wait inside on a cold windy January day while I waited for my mum to come. Absolutely clean and welcoming environment and staff. In terms of the food, the quality was like no other. We ordered the Cocktail Idly (fried mini idli) which were the perfect starter and got us salivating for the rest. Then we ordered a normal Masala Dosa for my mum and a special Pav Bhaji dosa for myself. The Masala was very tasty and well done and came with a super crispy dosa (which we appreciated), while the Bhaji was flavourful and really unique. With unlimited refills of all chutneys and sambhar and a very decently priced menu, lovely staff and delicious food, what more could you want!

You can't beat their unlimited south indian buffet. It has plenty of options to choose from and have a great taste.

Been here a few times. Mostly had the lunch buffet, which had a very good spread. Good taste and would recommend for south indian food. Service can be bit slow sometimes.

Amazing service by the team esp Dinu mama for our live cooking party for a 40th party. Food was delicious, fresh and outstanding service overall. Hats off to the chef! Thank you once again! Will definitely book Dinu mama again for our next function!

I really had a bad experience with this restaurant and it was my first time. I order online haluwa and they had give me very less portion about 3 spoons of £6 .

May be this restaurant s success is their own downfall now. They were not able to handle the crowd during New year s evening. Food was not replenished quickly, plates not cleaned and provided quickly....lost interest in having the buffet

Really enjoyed the food. Service was OK but the staff were rushed as the place was packed. But the staff continued to smile. Great value for money. Good quality but would have liked the chutneys to have a kick.

Recently we four friends visited SriLalita in Kenton We had very good time with delicious food including Jain options which was very important for some of us. It was also very important for us to go to pure vegetarian restaurant with good ambience and variety of food with affordable prices. Staff were very courteous and served us with smiles. Buffet lunch has got many options and you can eat and order hot customized delicacy on the spot. We would recommend people to visit this place if you fancy south Indian food and can get good experience .

Good value south indian restaurant. Reasonably priced buffet compared to other similar restaurants around. Made to order dosas and uttapam for buffet. Service was good and attentive. Also good options and very reasonable price on a la carte menu options as well.

We had them cater for our family get together . Lovely fresh food . Family enjoyed the live Dosa and Medu Vada Station . The 2 chefs who came were so polite and served hot food with a smile . Would definitely recommend Srilalitha . Very happy .

The best fermentation for doughs! Idli and uttampam are both amazing but I'll recommend the idli as it brings out the fermentation flavours very well. The Pongal is also amazing and Focuses on flavour instead of just slathering everything with ghee. Finally, the sambar is a Tamil style one which is as flavourful as the rasam.

To me this is definitely the best south Indian vegetarian restaurant around North West London. The Dosas, Idli Menduvadas are for sure the best. And dahjiwadas. The sambhar is the best I have had with the original south Indian taste. I personally don't think any other restaurant sambhar is as good. Chutney taste is excellent too Food always taste same and is always fresh and well cooked. The buffet choice is excellent. I don't always have the buffet food because Onion Rava dosa is not included. That is my all time favourite and the coffee. ❤️ Well done to the Chef. Yes and service is always excellent and whenever the owner is, around, I have noticed that he goes around and says hello to each and every customer. Must try this place.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time. What a disappointing experience. Never had a Dosa where everything was packed separately and so so greasy. Totally tasteless. Horrible experience. Never again.

We booked Chennai Veg Srilalitha for catering at my birthday party and we were so delighted with the food, service, and communication from the team! We had the live dosa station with starters, and the food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. Couldn’t fault it. Guests were absolutely thrilled with the dosas cooked to order on site and the quality of the food. So authentic. The vada was amazing. Above all, the team on site doing the cooking were absolutely lovely people - so kind, and engaging with the guests throughout. They really made the night. Very good options for Pure vegetarian and pure Jain food. Excellent quality, quantity and taste. Very good service and very well maintained decorum. Expecting and will definitely live to have few more options for Pure Jain food.

Was recommended by a local Indian mum who knows her stuff- great dosas (cauliflower / paneer favourites) and chole batura always a hit. Nice to try a selection of dishes each time as nothing disappoints!

Popped into this lovely hidden gem of a restaurant for quick takeaway snack food... Although busy due to Diwali, the member of staff that served me was a polite delightful young man. Unfortunately didn't get his name! We had mushroom 65, dosa, medhu vada sambar and french fries for the kids. Really very accomodating.

Their crispy dosa is my favourite. Friendly and speedy service, the restaurant was packed with local families and couples. Looking forward to visiting their sister restaurant in Amersham and Wembly.

Just now had sambar rice had worst experience.. how could there be Greenpeace and sweet corn in sambar ...there was no salt no spice had to just fill my stomach was damn hungry..will never ever visit this hotel ..Mumbai local was better ..also a service charges was added however i had to remind staff for spoons waters salt pepper.. disappointed ☹️☹️☹️

This place is toxic in simple words. Cleanliness: Place is not clean Ambience: Horrible Taste: Very salty and full of tinned tomatoes; you will get ill! We were on the hunt for dosa and south indian cuisine and we headed to Chennai Srilalitha for lunch. Warm atmosphere, plenty of dishes on the menu and comfortable seating. The food itself was very tasty. We'll be back

Excellent, authentic, vegetarian South Indian Chennai food (my go-to place for this kind of food) - especially dosas, idlis, uppams, vadas, rassam etc etc. Sambhar (lentil soup) is authentic in taste and consistency. Also, superb butter masala paneer, puris (Indian fried bread), and chole bature (chick peas) !!! If there are some ravenous youngsters in your party then let them try the giant dosa - massive dosa about 3 feet long!! Not for the faint-hearted! The sweats (eg. Halwa, 'shira' etc) can be very sweat and full of ghee - certainly not for the diet conscious - but damn tasty all the same! Buffet is well worth it - but go hungry!! Must-go for vegetarians. It can get quite packed on Friday evenings/nights and weekends. First-come-first-served basis - no reservations. Parking may be difficult to find outside during the day.

Hello. Invited by a dear friend. A lovely place to taste a range of South Indian cuisine. Go for the buffet, great freshly made Dosas. Loved the Kichri and Siro, reminded me of childhood family meals. Plenty to eat. A good atmosphere. The only negatives were no salads or sambar despite being on the menu, the 10% charge and you can only reserve a table for 10 plus people.

Great food and reasonably priced. Uttapam, idli, wadda, sambar are my faves! Daal is always tasty and if you’re hungry the buffet is a good shout too.

Went there this afternoon, the food was ok but the beverage was below standard, order masala tea which came in a very small stain steel cup with a false bottom, so the amount of tea was less then a quarter cup, I felt the price was set too high for two sips of tea ( if I can add a picture of the cup I will). Highly disappointed. Also the waitress started to clean the floor under our table whilst we were still eat, none of the crumbs were from us. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Attended a Wedding reception recently and the caterers for the event were Veg Chennai Srilatha. Enjoyed the spread and special mention about the live Vadai and pakoda. Service was good. Will use them for catering for my home functions.

The food quality was awesome, 5 star for the Dosa and Chutneys. Atmosphere could be better, further improvement on cleanliness of the floor and toilet would have earned 1 additional star. Plates and cutlery was quite clean but for floor and toilet, it reduced one star in the rating. The staff was quite helpful. Don't forget to take Filter coffee, I found one of the best in Area. The pricing is good for the quality and quantity, overall, nice food and would recommend this for delicious South Indian cuisine.

Possible the best idli, chutney, sambhar and dosa in London. We have tried them all and keep coming back to Chennai Sri Lalitha!

Ordered the bhel poori chat, the rice puffs were stale, it was covered in chutney so it was also very soggy. The chilli garlic mogo was undercooked it was just tossed in soya sauce.

We ordered Food from the restuarant for my dads 70 birthday and the food was authentic, tasty and satisfying to all our guests. For any parties Chennai Sri Lalitha is the Go to for me. Without any hassle the delivery was done and as promised it was delivered on time.

We recently hired the catering service of Sri Lalitha at our home. I had booked their catering service when I went to their restaurant for a meal (can be done online as well). We are regulars at their restaurant in Kenton and love their food. The owners were very helpful, attended to all our requests, questions and also gave suggestions on food options. Owing to unpredictable weather, they were also flexible to move the booking to another date, super flexible in their approach and great customer service. Their website also has all details of the catering options and prices; the cancellation policy is also friendly for the customer. The catering service was very professional, they arrived before time and set-up the stations and arranged all food before the guests arrived. All our guests throughly enjoyed the food, their service, the extra waiter we hired was going around serving people hot food and wouldn’t let us eat anything cold. They also cooked some extra food for the guests that were to arrive late, so no one was left without food. Some of my friends were impressed, so they decided in my party to hire them for their future events. Highly recommend their restaurant and catering service as well. Thanks for making it a memorable day for me and my guests.
