Lovely breakfast, bring dad here most Fridays, he really looks forward to it. Lovely friendly staff & very accommodating, a very popular place.

We visited chefs cafe the other day. It’s a small place with a few tables inside. You can park on the side . We ordered 3 chefs breakfasts for £6.50 each. Food and portions were ok. I ordered a cup of tea but the top of my cup was dirty. Probably it didn’t get washed properly in the dish washer? Ok these things happen I get it. The sort blonde lady ( there were two blondes one bit taller) that I’ve spoken too just looked at me and then gave me a new one. No apology no nothing just stared at me then replaced it. If something is dirty an apology is a must. Also our table ( only available one ) was close to a table/station that was used for making your teas . It had spoons, milk etc. I had to stand for someone so he can make his tea. Once he left , I was able to sit down. I would have scored the place 3/5 cos it felt claustrophobic, that lady was bit rude and my cup was dirty, but food was ok and cooked good so 4/5 it is.

Meet here every week for a catch-up and a big chefs special (bacon eggs sausages spam black pudding mushrooms hash brown beans tomatoes), including tea and toast for £6.50. they never miss a beat with the food its always hot, always plentiful and always cheap! Easy to get to and loads of parking space.

Simply the best proper cafe in Castleford. Well run, friendly, clean, top value breakfast and best eggs I've ever had ( perfect every time chef).

Never been here before as I live 100+ miles away . Enroute from Castleford to Leeds I was hungry and saw this cafe from the traffic lights and it looked clean and presentable ( IT IS ) .I popped in for a hot sandwich and a drink. And both the food and service was spot on. And I'm a fussy customer when it comes to food .

Best cafe by far First time used it we fish every Sunday as a club South Leeds Clean good food would highly recommend it Well worth 10 stars And that's from picky fisherman

We were fishing in the area for a week. No complaints what so ever. Staff were warm & friendly and the full English was spot on . Went back at the end of the week for more Excellent value for the money.

If ever you're approaching Castleford from Methley, look out for this cafe, as it's extra special. The breakfasts are out of this world. Beautifully cooked, well presented, and very tasty.

CHEFS is a nice cafe lovely breakfast fresh stuff and will allow you to change out stuff you don't like for stuffyou do. Friendly service good prices his dinners are excellent the Sunday roast is ace and you get takeaways...

This place is a true traditional cafe that we all used to see on our streets before the large multi-chain establishments came along. Great food, fantastic value & truly a “does-what-it-says-on-the-tin” in the most positive of ways! Best & most nostalgic breakfast I’ve had in a long time....it really was old school magic. Hot sandwiches bought to take away, brilliant value for money

Love this place , chef is a friend and hes a brill cook and is polite to his customers . Not a long wait time for food . All cooked fresh . Toilets around back just ask for key and parking to the side of the building. I go when I can as a treat and never disappointed !

Fantastic breakfast for a fraction of the price. I had the chefs breakfast but Graham kindly swapped my some of the items for alternatives. The service was brilliant and the food was served quickly and was all fresh. Unbelievable to say it only cost me a fiver! Will definitely be back.

Called in here for a sandwich for breakfast and it was really good,all of the ingredients tasted fresh and good and the service was excellent,the place is also really clean and good value for money.

You’ll go a long long way to find anywhere as clean, where you get top quality service and value for money as this little nugget of a cafe. 2 excellent Sunday lunches with drinks for a tenner. You can’t afford not to try it.

Very nice food, reasonable price too!

This is a brilliant cafe on the outskirts of Castleford near Diggerland Normanton. The service is very friendly with a super clean kitchen and seating area. Staff serve you with a smile and a large range of menu options suiting anyone wanting breakfast is on offer. I tried the medium breakfast which was great food, fresh and excellent value.

Good clean place for a quick bite, as expected from a local cafe all very casual and a single guy dealing with you bespoke orders. Quite efficient and we'll priced. I can imagine there is outside seating to eat, but we're non when I came at 2 O'clock. Overall good
