Pity they stopped doing food, only letdown

Basically a good lounge bar; don't go changing, you'll break my heart.Nobbie's nuts & Deli crisps in bar and it will be perfect.Car Park sitootery gone,was for Covid . Food back have Italian chef,new menu.prefer bar,more room to blob around.Bring back days of sunshades& roses.

5 stars all day long as had the fish and chips today and it was out of this world as in absolutely amazing as felt rotten not finishing it but I would recommend to everyone as superb food , service , drink prices . Just an all round fantastic wee boozer to be honest 10/10 👍

A nice pub, was there with my father and a few of his friends. Decently priced drink. Service was good.

To get into the middle and watch the game you need to buy a ticket. This is not a stadium

We popped in here for something to eat and we had never been before. We weren’t sure of the protocols and the people behind the bar didn’t help us much in this regard. Once we got a seat and a couple of menus we ordered. We both opted for the steak pie with chips and veg. We did wait for a wee while on the food but it was lovely and it was piping hot. We couldn’t really fault the food but if the service had been better we’d have probably rated 5/5.

Okay for a quick refreshment. Prices good and reasonable selection.

My friend and I went in today for food and drinks. We enjoy the atmosphere is always good and drinks very reasonable priced. The reason I gave food just 4 stars. I ordered fish and chips, the fish was delicious but was let down by oven cooked chips and not home-made. Come on guys surely if your cooking fresh fish finish off with homemade chips. My pal enjoyed parsnip soup well worth the money. But will definetely be back again.

Just a great Afternoon with Family

Been a while since I was last in there. Shame kitchen was being refurbished, still a great pub and staff were first class.

Got stuck in Clydebank for 27 hrs whilst waiting to unload, found Chandlers on Google maps so decided to go for a couple of pints. Nice friendly pub with friendly regulars. It's in the middle of a refurb and by what I saw it'll be very nice when it's finished.

This Clydebank pub serving food with a dolop of friendly & helpfull staff offers a delicious menu to suit everyone. I had the enormous fish and chips for Seniors which included a drink and ice cream. A great pub lunch, light and airy premises with easy access and clean toilets, parking close by is difficult due to construction work, Give this pub a try and make up your own mind.

Popped in yesterday for the first time since moving into the area. The Gallus menu is varied and excellent. We'd had it delivered before but wanted to try it at the bar. Nice wee selection of craft beer as well as the old faithful Tennents etc. Great and friendly service from the staff who helped with some new newbie queries. Will be back.

Loaded fries are amazing. Chicken strips lovely. Disappointed with the triple pepperoni pizza only 6 pieces off pepperoni on the pizza!!! Staff are amazing.

Ate here a few weeks ago, service was a bit slow but that didn't bother us. First time eating since the menu change and we were disappointed. Had the nachos to share and they were so chewy. The cheese had melted and gone hard the tortillas chips were that soggy chewy way. The beef topping was nice though. I had the Red Pasta and honestly was something I would tip out of a jar. It really lacked flavour, there was supposed to be chorizo in it etc... My friend had the enchiladas and her only comment was I wouldn't eat here again. It looked good but images can be deceiving. Also a pain that it is cash only. I was going to try the Sunday dinner but there are other local places where the food is much better. Would go back for just drinks but only cause it's a Celtic pub.

The menu is not a traditional pub menu? Very gastro, choice of mains very limited, chips come as an extra even with the irn bru battered fish? Disgusting as for allergies mayo etc! Not stated that your wrap is covered in mayo?? Not recommended for foid

Went to Chandlers today after seeing the menu online. ( obviously the sight I was on needs updated.) To my surprise it was a new Gallus menu. Very upmarket menu not sure if it will be a hit with the usual clientele. Anyway I got a Gallus burger not sure of the price as could not see it on menu (daughter was paying so what the hell), It was served on a side plate with no side salads as stated on menu, thank goodness I ordered chips . The burger was ok, but I must mention the chips, they where amazing. One criticism, no brown sauce for my chips

Pleasant staff and beer is great !

After a Long Lockdown, This was my first venture out for food. Chose Chandlers as it is local and we didn’t have to Book. Had food which was Delicious as well as a few Cold Guinness. All in all we stayed for around 3 hours . Staff very Friendly so will definitely be back as initially I didn’t realise they served food .

No faults whatsoever from the huge chilli burgers with bang loads of chips to my fussy eating grandson who just loves chef Gordon’s amazing macaroni , chip in with free ice cream for kids .. There is plenty on the menu too suit everyone’s taste , you only need to ask if not ..steaks are huge & great selection to yummy pasta daily specials .. try this place out if you’re in Clydebank , by far the best for yir money .. the staff are there to help & do amazing job.. cheers

Not clean seats all stained....meal was cheap but not tasty. Girls were nice and pleasant its only saving grace really.

Service was great, can't fault the lass at the bar. The food could be a little better. (Lasagne, steak and enchiladas were ordered.) The whole building however needs some upgrades and fixings, and is quite dark. The lights were flickering which caused myself a headache, and wouldn't be great for epileptics. Overall good for a stop off, we weren't in at a busy period.

Absolutely amazing place. Great staff, lovely food. Prices are outstanding.

Very dark inside which I think was hiding a multitude of things. I felt upholstery could have done with a clean. Bar service was OK but food left a lot to be desired. Even at cost of 2 for £10.. Still not worth it. Toilets bright and clean.

Not been in Chandlers since 1994 and it was a scratch I’d wanted to itch for years. In my mind I thought it’d be all wine bar and gentrified etcetera but to be honest it’s went the other way; a bit of a dump. Disappointing - never go back they say...mm so true

Two drinks and are deemed too be intoxicated most likely because of there stance on only accepting supporters of the one persuation food atleast two week old out of local freezer shop
