Had a fantastic takeaway here last weekend. The place is under new management and I’m looking forward to having a restaurant meal here in the near future. Emil was great he served me shish and donor kebabs and they were amazing. The place is my favourite in the area and it’s improved. I look forward to the restaurant opening. Superb

If you want good quality this is not the place. Ordered a halloumi wrap and chicken wrap with a side of fries. Delivery was prompt however the wraps are not made with fresh bread and there was just the smallest amount of lettuce in both wraps. Very disappointing, would not be ordering again.

Disappointed with the flat breads, warmed up from pre packages not freshly made No rice given with my order of mixed grill and lamb. Luckily had ordered extra rice. So many onions in my roll !! No red cabbage. Don’t think I will order again from here. The place across the road is much better. Disappointed

Nice restaurant, amazing Hummus and flatbread. Great for an early dinner before a night out.

Overall the food was good, main gripes were the batter on the calamari which was way too much and lost any sort of texture. The mains took longer to come out than I expected.

The portions here would feed an Army. Flavours are popping. Good service who help you pick the dishes for you. Atmosphere and host are great, this is someone who is proud of their job and cares about patrons having an enjoyable experience

Most Lebanese and many Turkish restaurants tend to cook using soya bean oil which is helpful for my wife who is unable to tolerate rapeseed and palm oil. We called into the Cedar Tree on a midweek lunchtime when the restaurant was virtually empty and asked the proprietor what oil he cooked with. He was immediately rude and asked if we wanted lunch today or tomorrow. Then insisted that the restaurant used 'grapeseed' which I find very surprising, and made it clear that diners with any food intolerance were not welcome. We made his life easy, though his business less profitable, by just walking out. What a horribly rude man. I had eaten here in the past with friends who did not have any dietary issues, but will never return to this restaurant. Does not even deserve a 1 star review, but this is the lowest score available.

Outrageous , food is long , service is terrible + bad communication. I hope you don’t come hear to waste your money not impressed came with my grandad and grandma.

The food was generally of decent standard and pleasant staff. One of the things we ordered was hummus shawarma which had a lot of bones in the lamb which you wouldn’t expect to be there since it is sliced and then reformed. I ended up chipping my tooth on one. I told the waiter what had happened and he apologised but even though we had left the dish uneaten was still charged for it. I didnt say anymore as I didn’t feel it was worth the argument over the sake of £6-£7. Definitely would not return after that as dinner has just cost about £250 at the dentist to get my tooth fixed.

Wonderful food delivery. Hot and very tasty. Generous portion sizes and delivered within the time I was advised at the point of order.

Me and my partner went to this place for the first time after living in the area for nearly a year and we were certainly not disappointed, I do not know how we have missed such a wonderful place until now, the food is fresh and tastes amazing and we will certainly be going back to sample more of what they have on the menu, everything about the experience was fantastic, the staff are really friendly and attentive and it comes highly recommended

My wife and I came early on a Saturday and enjoyed a number of mezze plates and some Lebanese wine. We had the opportunity to speak with the owner for a bit and he steered us well on the wine and our selections. Overall it was very pleasant and we look forward to returning again to sample more of the menu!

This was our first time ordering from The Cedar Tree and I must say how impressed my girlfriend and I were. Great tasting food and good sized portions with lots of flavour. We will definitely be ordering again.

We have been loyal customers for over a year, ordering take away from this place every other weekend. We were very disappointed with our last take away as they failed to give us the sauce that comes wit the falafel saying that you had to pay extra for it (never before) with a very rude tone. It’s a shame as we use to enjoy the food very much very, but the quality has dropped (our falafels very very undercooked inside and the halloumi was burnt) and the attention to the customers has deteriorated.

I've moved house, so this restaurant is no longer local, so I haven't visited for a while. Took my sister there to celebrate her birthday and we were made as welcome as always and the food was still as good as in previous visits. We enjoyed what we usually have - the mixed mezze, which was freshly cooked/prepared and offered a good range of tastes and flavours. Also added a dish of prawns with rice, which was equally good. At the end I was surprised they had run out of expresso to have with my baklava, but the Lebanese coffee was excellent.

Really impressive food. Lots of vegetarian options. We were really looked after very well. We went on a Sunday evening when it was quiet and relaxing.

Just popped in to get a take away. One other person collecting and when customer mentioned that the wrong sauce wa on the wrap, the owner/manger simply grabbed a jay-cloth and wiped the unwanted sauce off the wrap and put new sauce on. This must break many hygiene laws. He shouldn’t be preparing food as also witnessed him putting on salad on wraps with bare hands. If this happens in front of clients, wonder what happens behind closed doors. Never again....

Very authentic Lebanese in our opinion. Food, drinks and service all good. Please try the prawns. Did not get 5 star as no Pistachio ice cream. Will be back soon.

The Vine Leaves...wow! The rest is great too, and consistent. Due be wary booking via OpenTable as they don't check that often(2 times out of 2 they didn't know about my reservation, both booked via OpenTable).

We came to Cedar on my birthday. The food was incredibly tasty and to add the service was impeccable. Extremely friendly, warm and engaging. It’s cosy warm and inviting. The rice has got to be the best I have ever tasted. Food cooked to perfection.

Took a bit of time to be served our drinks but other than that the service was good and the owner of the restaurant was very friendly. Everything we ordered tasted good so we would come back.

Excellent flavors in all that we had. From the hummus and grape leaves we started with to the keftas and mix grille we had as our main all were excellent. The owner was very friendly and we got to chat a bit as we were the only ones there at one point. Definite local gem and perfect on a week night as it's quiet and peaceful. I took on star off overall(out of all of the, there is like 25) because the reservation I entered wasn't viewed which included dietary restrictions. However when I mentioned it things were sorted out without issue. Great food, will go again.

It is our second visit, the food is great with plenty of choice. It’s very authentic and reasonably priced matched very by great service.

I've eaten here 3 or 4 times and had takeaways several times too. The food is always good, especially the wide range of hot and cold mezze dishes. It's great for vegetarians and vegans with so many vegetable dishes to choose from, and they are always happy to make the set mezze selection vegetarian if requested. The staff are always helpful and friendly and also welcoming to children. The decor is a bit outdated, but that's a very minor point. Takeaways are also very good, whether a full meal or just a falafel wrap.

Had the best Lebanese food at Cedar Tree! While I’m based in central and have plenty of well reviewed and high end Middle Eastern restaurants, Cedar Tree ticks all the boxes. Awesome service, high quality and tasty food, and excellent service. The flavors come together across all the dishes with big portions and very well priced appetizers and mains. Highly recommend: hummus, kibbeh, falafel, and mixed grill (great and large selection of meets with fries and salad). The hot sauce and garlic sauce mixed together is amazing! While not in central London, definitely recommend heading over to Ruislip to check this tasty hotspot out.

It was Sunday afternoon and the place was empty but we were not complaining as there was 7 of us. The service by the owner was friendly and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes and the prawns were my favourite. Great place and would come back again.

We had the window seat which was cosy for two of us. The atmosphere in the joint was good and service was attentative. The food was really good - we had a selection of different dishes. I would come back.

I was in the area for a conference and looking for somewhere nice to have a meal and the Cedar Tree turned out to be just such a place.

The food was actually really good so we were disappointed that we felt we didn’t want to return on a point of principle - hopefully the owner will read this and maybe get some education on how a lot of people feel.....

A group of friends met up on a Tuesday night for drinks and dinner. The waitress was very attentive but the food was really slow to come out and nothing special when it came.

Starters were great, both my wife and I enjoyed these. The mains, however, took an age to arrive and were ok - not proportionate to the time they took to arrive. The service was ok, apart from the unwelcoming and perhaps slightly rude person who served us. We asked him to take a picture with my phone (it was my wife's birthday, which I'd mentioned), he told us he was too busy and would try later. Though it might have been valid reason, his way of conveying it was a little direct.

Menu had lots of choices. We had the meze to start followed by mains. Food was good but not outstanding. Service was laid back. Lots of choices for vegetarians

Very good authentic Lebanese .Great selection of medditerian and middle eastern dishes with delicious spices .Really enjoyed the platter for two with houmous, falafel, bread,vine leaves, salad and smoked aubergine dip. Nice to try out a delightful white sauvigon, as you rarely see them in West London (superb by the way )service was excellent. All in all, a nice dining experience. Would definitely recommend it.

Comimos aquí unas cuantas veces y este es sin duda el mejor restaurante libanés en la zona. Su hummus es delicioso y sin duda debes probar. La carne siempre es tan delicioso. El dueño era siempre agradable para mí y cualquier otra persona me acompaña así que no puedo quejarme. Sin duda alguna volveremos aquí de nuevo!

Gerente no dar monos sobre nosotros. Él estaba más interesado en socializar con sus amigos y clientes en la parte trasera de la habitación. Había sido sentado por 5 minutos cuando el propietario dijo dos veces groseramente apresurarme en orden, ya que la cocina cerraba a las 9. Pero ¿por qué tomar suficiente una reserva cerca de las 9 en punto. Camarera que teníamos era encantadora y servicial y estaba claramente molesto y avergonzado por la actitud de los propietarios.

Visita regularmente; Árbol de cedro en esta visita fui con un amigo para almorzar. La comida era fresca y sabrosa y el servicio era personal. El hummus es siempre bueno.

We took my husband to the Cedar Tree for his birthday the other evening and had a lovely meal. The food is fresh and interesting and the restaurant makes you feel as if you are on holiday. It was quite busy in there for a Wednesday, which was great and the service was good. We will definitely go back soon.

Came on a Sunday evening, lots of customers, which is always a good sign, had lovely starters made on the premises, baby aubergines stuffed with walnuts, pomegranate seeds and chilli, and a hot broad bean starter, followed by a chicken kebab main course with a spicy sauce. Nothing too fancy or complicated, but really wholesome and tasty. Friendly staff, cannot understand the reviews that say service is rude!! One of the best restaurants in Ruislip Manor.

The food was not bad but the owner who is a old man is extremely rude to be honest. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs unless you want to be treated horribly. He has no manners and will talk to you like he is doing you a favour by serving you in his restaurant.

Food is on point, I normally go for the mixed grill and halloumi flat bread. The service can be a little flat however but generally a solid choice for a meal in Ruislip Manor.

Myself and 3 friends came for a meal at Cedar Tree and had the most wonderful experience ever. The staff were helpful, the food was DELICIOUS and it was such a wonderful inviting atmosphere. We have already made reservations there for my anniversary and my friends birthday. I couldn't recommend this highly enough. I would also like to personally thank the owner who made us feel so welcome and made our experience so inviting, as if we were coming for dinner in his home. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else when looking for somewhere to dine out!

Went for a takeaway having tried here before.Staff at the counter taking the order need lessons in customer services as they were downright rude and shown little care in serving.If the friendliness was there I may have tried the sit down restaurant with the family but will be giving this a miss on the Manor and will beer use this takeaway again.

We came across The Cedar Tree as we were on our way to visit family. We decided to try it as both myself and my Wife love Lebanese cuisine.The food was very tasty (Starters Tabouleh, cheese parcels,chicken wings, Lebanese Sausages and stuffed bread . Mains Mixed grill and kebabs all beautifully cooked )and staff very attentive. There may not be a children's menu but half portions are available which are more an suitable .I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant definitely will be going back even though we live quite a distance away.

I went to this restaurant with my husband and his friends. It was a nice looking restaurant - there is a "kebab type" shop joined to the restaurant, so i think they do take away/fast food too. The food was good, i preferred the starters to the mains. I am vegetarian and there were a good number of options for me. The wrap I ordered did come wrapped in paper, which made it look more like a take away than restaurant dish. Overall it was a nice place - staff were really nice too. I did think the bill was a bit steep for what we got.

My entire family of approx. 15 attended this eatery to celebrate a birthday and the evening was going fantastically. We were enjoying our food (albeit pricey) and the owner and staff came out with a birthday cake and sung happy birthday which was a really nice touch. BUTAs we came to pay for the bill we noticed that there were a couple of items on there that we didn't order and so when we raised this with the owner he was adamant that we did. We ended up paying approx. £10 more than we should have done in order to dampen the atmosphere but really wasn't happy being told "you are wrong"

The welcome was good the service couldn't be faulted the food and wine was very nice and tasty but for what we got thought it was a little on the expensive side. We may go again but there are other very nice restaurants there so maybe not too soon, sorry.

Estuvimos allí con amigos para cenar. Pidieron muchos entrantes y estaban todos deliciosos. Después algunos compartieron una parrillada de carne.Con los entrantes para todos (unos 10, cada uno valía alrededor de 5 libras) cenamos muy bien. Después los niños pidieron postre (helado) y también les gustó mucho.La pena es que no se decir el nombre de los entrantes que probamos, ya que los nombres no eran fáciles de recodar y confiamos en el gusto de otra persona.Quedé impresionada con la comida libanesa, ya que era la primera vez que la probaba.Como único punto negativo, mencionaría al que parecía dueño del local. No fue antipático, pero se notaba que no estaba muy agusto con la compañía de los niños, se debe disimular un poco más.Volvería sin lugar a dudas.

It's average food. Desserts are nice. However there is one staff member in particular that I find to be quite rude. Making comments that shouldn't be made making awkward requests to make our stay less comfortable.

I have eaten a few times in big groups and thoroughly enjoyed our food - it's a place where you can pick stuff snd mix and match - the menu is made for sharing but also has main meals if you prefer to stick on your own. Quite lively atmosphere and food somes quite quickly.

Although it is a small restaurant, its very homely and happy atmosphere. Good quality food and tasty. My only issue is there is no salt in the food (which is a very good thing though). Nice meal, good service very pleasant experiences every time I have visited.

Dined there last night with a group of 20 / 25. The bill came to £37.00 per head after the manager "corrected" the bill twice. Starters for all plus mains & drinks didn't seem to add up to his final bill.Service charge for a group was a bit cheeky mainly because we were the only customers in the restaurant the whole time that we we there.......

As in the past the food here was excellent. The food standard is very authentic and is very fresh. We ordered numerous vegetarian items including fattoush, hummus, pitta. All was great. Also they made a simple wrap for my niece.

I have lived in Ruislip for years and had never tried the cedar tree and what a shame I had never been before, it was busy and we hadn't booked but they got us a table for 4, the owner came over and talked us through the menu he also let us try the wines, we had the hot and cold meze, the food was fantastic and service was top class, the drinks and food where very reasonable and to hear the stories from the owner about his homeland was great it felt like we where actually there,Can't wait to go back
