Wandering around Mansfield in the rain looking for some where to eat and stumbled upon this cafe. Great choice of food and a lovely atmosphere. food was lovely and reasonably priced. We will definitely return

Been coming to Casey's regularly for some time either with my Mum or my friend. The food is always cooked to a high standard with a casual, friendly atmosphere. I've had lunch, breakfast and an afternoon tea here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cafe to anyone. It's situated in the town centre so it's easy to get to. It's cash only but there is a bank just a minutes walk away.

This is my favourite place to go to as a comfort, since I was little. It's very homely, food is AMAZING!, service is good and staff are lovely

Wide menu and even wider specials board. Great for picky eaters. Food nice, would recommend the wedges,they were lovely and crispy. Cheap prices and the general Mansfield population made for some smelly customers but this is not the cafes fault. Would still return if I was ever in Mansfield again.

Visited here for breakfast on a Wednesday morning. Wonderful choice of food to choose from, wether it be breakfast lunch or main meals. I chose to make my own breakfast due to myself having a few food intolerances, I had 2 bacon, mushrooms, beans and hash browns, £1 per item which is good for those to pick and choose and it’s a minimum of 5 items. My only downside was that I would of liked toast but I was told they only do butter and not a margarine spread or olive spread, as butter is one of my intolerances I chose not to have toast and didn’t fancy dry toast. (Perhaps the management could consider this for the future) My friend ordered a vegetarian brunch, which was beautiful they provide a wonderful choice of food for vegetarians. Overall a great morning.

Staying at the nearby Travelodge, this is the perfect solution for breakfast (and more). Space is tight and it is cash only payment, squeezed under the iconic railway viaduct. Nice, clean and air-conditioned The friendly service, extremely flexible breakfast menu, including a build-you-own breakfast, was beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. I could not resist it, or the award winning sausages, on both days of our stay.

Outstanding coffee bar! The people are lovely, so friendly, warm and kind. I always feel at home here especially when I come alone. The food is delicious and excellent value for money. I am a regular at Casey's and I highly recommend this wonderful coffee bar. You are in for a lovely treat! 😊

We asked Casey's to provide the catering for our event at the end of March. The response via email was incredibly quick and everything was sorted in a few hours. The food was delivered to our venue and set up for us with no issues. The selection of buffet food and the quality were both brilliant. Although we had no dietary requirements the food was clearly labelled with allergens. The trays provided to us were requested to be returned after use and these were picked up by the company themselves which was very convenient. The price seemed appropriate for the amount of food, the quality and the services provided. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing buffet style catering and will definitely be using this company for any future catering we need!

Popped in as local and can honesty say what a breakfast I had to start the day. Very friendly warm establishment in the centre of town. Had the Casey’s Special and was delicious with a pot or 2 of tea. Highly recommended and will be back when passing.

I’ve live in Mansfield for 17 years and today was the first time I’d ever been into Casey’s and my goodness I have been missing out on a treat. The staff and lovely and polite. The food is delicious, priced well and moreish. I had a breakfast pictured. The ingredients were good quality and cooked well. I’ve found my regular cafe now. I will be back. Only disappointment is they are not open 24 hours a date. 😜

This was a great find for an early morning full English breakfast. Very clean well decorated café. Swift service , very friendly and helpful. I ordered a £4.95 breakfast which was hot and cooked to perfection and a lovely tasty plate of food. Top marks to all the staff.

First time eating here. Both the food & service were excellent with a few changes I requested to the menu no issue for them at all. I’ll certainly be back soon!

Nice Family run business that clean and reasonably priced in todays economy, Never to much trouble to alter a dish to suit you or change one item for another, I go there for take out every week and take back to work. Great little cafe.

On Tuesday 18 August, my wife and I visited Casey's with the daughter and two grandchildren. It was a pre planned lunch. The menu is just right with a wide variety. The children were amazed they could have whatever they wanted. I had Chicken Curry with rice, it was delightful. The service is wonderful and always with a wide smile. I for one am glad this lockdown is easing. Great to be back at Casey's.

My mum and i went to Caseys on 19 Aug 20 for afternoon tea as a joint birthday treat. There were a great selection of sandwiches, cake and savoury treats, all of which were absolutely delicious. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. COVID measures were of the highest standard and we felt at ease throughout our tea.We will certainly be returning. 10/10

Durring lock down we have been looking for some quality food and we have just found it, we ordered on Sunday the 24th and today Sunday the 31st a roast Sunday dinner it was nothing short of brilliant, as we had been so happy with the quality of the food we also ordered afternoon tea which was a hit great food couldnt fault a thing, all the food is homemade and busting with flavour just like youre Grandma used to make please give it a try you wont be dissapointed needless to say we are ordering for next week.

Been here numerous times over the years and whilst the food ranges from mediocre to lovely the prices are astronomical. Prices rise almost weekly and when prices don’t rise they overcharge you anyway. Today for example an order should have cost £14 according to the menu but was charged £16.50. Wasn’t until we walked away I realised so was too late to go back. Further they have stopped taking card payments! Hello it’s 2020! Will be finding somewhere else to get my breakfast fix in Mansfield. Since this cafe - and that’s all it is - was taken over they have taken liberties with their customers just increasing prices because they can. Well they will no longer be getting a penny from me and I would advise anyone else to go elsewhere

I regularly visit this delightful little coffee house in the centre of Mansfield..The choice of food is very good indeed and all freshly cooked and prepared.. Which really does make a difference..I’ve got to say the service is also just as good as the food.. Very friendly and consistently good..That’s the reason why Casey’s is so busy when so many local cafe’s are struggling!

Decided to give it a try on a day trip to Mansfield. Very glad we did: great service, great choice of things to eat. Some unusual things on the menu, not the same old jacket potatoes and fry-ups. Reanonable prices too. Highly recommended

Had a great experience today at caseys. Private hire for my friends baby shower, 2 hour slot. 21ppl. Great selection of sandwhichs. Good service and very attentive hosts. Highly recommend for this type of event. Perfect venue and did not feel rushed for time.

We called in recently as we fancied a bit of a breakfast treat and what's better than a bit of a fry up? Almost hidden away between the arches of Mansfield's iconic railway viaduct, the casual visitor could miss this little gem. A very smart interior, gives a great first impression as did the warm welcome we received.

We stumbled across this and what a find it was. The staff was fantastic, happy and smiley nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and reasonably priced. If we ever go to Mansfield again we would decently return.

Have been here a few times for breakfast and the food is really lovely. Lots of choice in addition to the breakfast menu with a good varied specials board too. Quick and friendly service. Reasonably priced for town. The place is clean and well kept. A little gem.

Lovely friendly cafe, always return, high chairs and accommodate my little girl and accommodate dieting needs. Nice clean toilet and place to change little lady. Mum really likes going there for lunch. Lots to choose from and variety and all reasonable priced. One of the best in town, recently tried another cafe but won’t be doing that again and just come back to Caseys.

Had to take my car in to Mansfield, I'm there at just after 8.00am and think I will wander around and see if I can find somewhere that does a breakfast. Almost everywhere did not open until 9.00am or after, then I stumbled on Casey's, lovely little place nice decor had a great breakfast very enjoyable.

Just had a horrible experience here, mums meal was not cooked right to she sent it back, after waiting some time! we then had to leave (just as they was bringing a replacement out) as we have all finished mum said no she wanted to go, then the horrible manager just come round, rolled her eyes and said it’s busy you wasted 2 meals! It’s not our fault it was not cooked right!

This is our place to visit when we come into Mansfield - which isn’t that often as I don’t live in the area anymore. Staff are so friendly, the menu/specials board is great. Everywhere is extremely clean - including the toilet. Wouldn’t go anywhere else...

Nice surprise! Small but welcoming bistro. Lots of choices too. There were 3 of us and we each had something different and enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken curry with rice & garlic bread. It was flavorful and had plenty of chicken, onions & mushrooms. My Mom had the lasagna. It was accompanied by coleslaw ( which my Mom raved about), salad & a jacket potato (baker). My Mom said the lasagna was very good with lots of meat & cheese. My husband had the chicken club sandwich with coleslaw and a jacket potato. Lots of chicken in his sandwich. Friendly staff and good service.

Visited Casey’s coffee bar today for afternoon tea. It was absolutely amazing, excellent service, fresh food. Family friendly the kids absolutely loved it and so did the adults. Very good value for money

My daughter has moved to Mansfield and took me and her Gran and Aunty out for lunch here. It was so busy but the staff were welcoming and quickly came and wiped our table clean for us. We ordered our drinks, my Mum and Aunty were delighted to find the place served alcohol so both ordered a glass of wine. They actually received a small bottle each and my banana milkshake was lovely. The menu was massive with lots of specials on blackboards. They were also advertising for Mothers day and that looked like a fabulous treat for any mother. Our orders were 2 quiche of the day, a steak pie for my daughter who tells me she has this every time she visits as it is the best pie ever and I had the homemade carrot and coriander soup and the best homemade potato wedges I have ever tasted. The waitress was lovely and very efficient, the food was good quality home made and the price was so reasonable. Will no doubt be visiting Casey's again the next time we visit.

Caseys is an excellent choice for coffee and a meal. Their staff are polite and attentive. The food is very good and they have an excellent range of blackboard meals and light meals all in all a good place to visit especially whilst shopping.

Every single time my husband and I visit Casey's the food is always excellent. Whether you have the breakfast or the lunch time menu it's always excellent. One of the best in the area.

We were in Mansfield for a spa day and then had a little wondered around town afterwards to find somewhere to eat. We sat down here and were greeted by the lovely staff. The selection of food was brilliant and as a veggie to say that is great. They had a good menu but loads of specials. I had a veggie burger with the best potato wedges I have had and it came with curry sauce, this was simple food but it was top quality tasting!! My partner had the salmon and again with a big portion of wedges and salad. The food was great, service great and when we paid we were shocked at how cheap it was to say we had two meals and two drinks it was less than £15!! Well Done Caseys...we wished we lived in the area so we could come all the time - Defiantly recommend this place for a nice lunch.

Finally somewhere decent to eat in Mansfield. Tucked away just off the square, this is well worth finding. Generous home cooked portions of food that havent been pinged from frozen in a microwave. Tasty and extremely good value for food. Unsurprisingly it gets very busy at lunchtime. We came closer to 13.30 and got a table no problems. Very chatty friendly staff.

Whilst looking for something a little different to meet a friend for breakfast one cold day, I followed tripadviser advice and came here.Lovely decor, nice quality ingredients, hot coffee and cold orange juice.What more do you want ?

Popped in on Saturday dinner time for a drink and a bite to eat.....as usual; great food and always great service with a smile from all the staff and the lovely Kim.It's very popular, but you can usually get a table... Great menu and a 'specials' board - reasonable prices!Tables are kept clean, the decor is nice and modern - and the toilet is always clean...which is always a good sign!We always go here....never had a bad meal yet!

Had a gorgeous lunch here, had quiche Lorraine with homemade wedges with salad and coleslaw, and to follow lemon sponge with custard, even had a glass of wine, thoroughly enjoyed it.Staff are truly lovely wouldn't go anywhere else.

Came for a catch up one Saturday with some friends, after looking on here we thought great they are open until 8 so knowing it would be 4 ish before we got there we decided on here. After we ate a man came up and said right were ready for locking up and practically threw us out, at 5pm. Fair enough if you shut at 5 but it might be an idea to let people know when they either arrive or update your times on here as we would have gone somewhere else. Apart from that food lovely.

Casey's is situated in an arch of the railway viaduct that dissects Mansfield town centre so the restaurant is very easy to find. Because there are no more than four trains per hour on the line using the viaduct there is virtually no noise, so the fact it sits in an arch of a railway viaduct is of no consequence, customer's do not have to worry about the clatter of trains passing overhead. The food is good and the service excellent. There is a standard menu plus a board offering specials and another board offering smaller portions of the same fare. Casey's is a great place for lunch, be it a light lunch with tea or coffee or something a bit more substantial. Beer and wine is available from the menu but the choices are quite limited. The usual soft drinks and mineral water are also available. The restaurant gets busy around lunchtime. Although it can bet a bit cramped when busy the space around the tables is quite sufficient for the time it takes to have lunch. Casey's closes around 1530 so it is much more of a morning / lunchtime place. The full breakfast and omlettes are particularly good. Salad is offered with some menu choices as an alternative to chips. I can certainly recommend Casey's if you are in town and fancy lunch and would rather not go to a pub.

Called in for a breakfast and it was just great, everything cooked from scratch, lovely tasting bacon and sausage and all came out red hot.Super staff so friendly, cannot fault this great cafe beats all the others.Will be back very soon.

Been for lunch on my own today as i popped into to town for some shopping before work... Had the Thai Fishcakes with Mango Prawns it was beautiful and a nice coffee, the service was fantastic and food was great!!

We sometimes call in here in the afternoon for tea and a toasted tea cake, but decided to have lunch yesterday, what a treat. The menu is varied, interesting and there is something for all, with a very nice healthy menu as well.If you have not visited before you are missing a treat, and the staff are so pleasant and friendly. You simply must visit this clean and friendly restaurant.We'll be back!

The welcome here is always with a smile..the menu is extensive and always cooked to order..it's tasty and well presented...I've read the only two bad reviews and they must be very hard to please...I go regular and have never had need to moan...give this little gem a try..you will go again...the cheese pie is delicious

Full range of choice from light bites sandwiches toasties & burgers etc to specials & desserts. Far better than visiting fast food places. Would fully recommend and cannot understand negative reviews but it takes all sorts. It is even licensed.

Me my girlfriend and sister came here after Christmas shopping around December unsure of the specific date. While the service was slow at first when we were being attended to however the server was attentive which was positive. The problems began with the food, it was of a poor quality especially the mince which resembled more of a paste which I couldn't finish. The other meals were of a Similar quality and couldn't be finished either. Drinks were all good no complaints at all but overall around 30 pounds for 3 poor meals 3 drinks and a coffee is vastly overpriced for meals I couldn't finish. Would not return.
