The staff were lovely, really friendly and this review is no reflection on them. The food however was poor. It was sad that parmesan and black pepper was not offered. The calzone was flavourless and generally lack lustre and a little mushy / under cooked. The seating arrangement was also poor. We were seated right next to the door which on a night where there was frost and snow was not ideal as it was being opened every 10 minutes. A little underwhelmed with the visit.

Found this cute little place by accident and it was fab. Delicious food and nice atmosphere.

Wowee. £6.95 for a delicious Italian sandwich.. came with chips and salad too! Felt like going back in time seeing the prices on their menu. Cheap and cheerful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Little hidden gem for those looking for a quick sit down coffee and snack in the afternoon. Will be coming back! 🫡 🇮🇹

Popped by here on the off chance, as new to the area. Very authentic and lovely food. Will visit again at some point.

Lovely mussels in garlic wine sauce and cheese bread

Was a quiet night as I called in on my own as working away on a Tuesday but the food was superb and the waiter couldn’t do more for me. I eat out a lot and this is right up there. I’ll be back this Thursday to try something else

We loved the food and the atmosphere. Great food prepared by passionate people. The scallops to start were some of the best I have ever had.

Lovely old pub, great landlord, very friendly. Go in sit down and they will keep getting your drinks and pay when you leave. Overall had a great night with my best mate.

The staff here are amazing very friendly and entertaining. They made my nephew feel very special for his 13th Birthday. Food was delicious and they are very accommodating with changes to dishes to allow for special dietary requirements.

Casa Mia Ristorante… excellent service beautiful food.. an absolute must visit in the heart of Sandbach.

My wife and I have just returned from another great lunchtime experience at Casa Mia.A drink each and some calamari in the sun is a great way to spend our lunch hour when working from home. This is probably my favourite place for calamari. The staff, as always, were amazing. We're so lucky having quality restaurants like this in Sandbach. See you soon!

Delicious panini and seafood risotto. Nice coffee. Very friendly service and very reasonable prices. Sitting outside on the square in the sunshine. What more could you ask? Pity we were only visiting on a day out otherwise we would go regularly.

We walked in without having booked. Owner was very accommodating even though we walked in 30 minutes before his country were playing in the Euro semi finals! Delicious meal, fantastic service and great banter. A gem of a place.

visited Cassa Mia recently with friends for an evening meal, and was booked at short notice and luckily they had a room for us.we were shown to our table and was told what the specials were for the day.looked through the menus after we ordered our drinks, and then orderd our starters and mains.starters arrived quickly which did suprise us as to how busy they were.we all enjoyed our starters and then the table was cleared.mains arrived shortly afterwards and again was suprised at how quickly they turned up and again we enjoyed what we all had.postion sizes were just about right as some places you do not get enough while others you get too much and then some can be wasted, but none of us left anything.we all had a dessert as well which were all very good.would defintley visit this place again andwould recomend everyone give it a try when in Sandbach.

Had a good meal with 2 other family members food was delivered very quickly and was very tasty. The staff were very friendly. The only problem we had was that the tables were so close together 2 feet would be pushing it very small gap between tables, we sat in an area where there were 2 four seaters and two 2 seaters. Even if they removed one of the 2 seaters it would be better, give some more room. A bit disconcerting in these times we're living through.

I visited Casa Mia for the first time yesterday with my children and parents. Lello and Emma’s hospitality couldn’t be faulted and the food we had was incredible! The sticky toffee pudding went down a storm with the kids 10/10. Go along and try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Went to Casa Mia with my wife for her 60th birthday. Had the most amazing meal and experience, we are already booked to go back with family. Thank you very much Lello and team.

I hate leaving bad reviews as everywhere has a bad day, but on this occasion I feel compelled to.We had booked a table in advance following good reviews, but we actually didn't stay to eat, as we did not feel safe.Upon arrival we saw a sign saying to sanitise your hands but no sanitiser next to it. The tables were next to each other with no separation in place, there was very few people in so it wasn't really an issue at this point, as it was early at 6pm, I guess it would have been a lot more full at 8pm. We then noticed that the 2 waiters were not wearing any type of face coverings and were getting very close to the few customers that were in there. I assumed they were family etc, so tried to ignore it.But then they were exactly the same with us, leaning all over the tables, and customers etc, without masks. I expressed my concern and told them how uncomfortable we were and we left immediately as we did not feel they had taken COVID measures seriously.Don't get me wrong, the food looked good and the staff were friendly, and under normal circumstances I'm sure we would have had a good night. But now is not the time to be completely ignoring the good practices that every other restaurant in Sandbach seem to be able to do well.

Just popped in for a drink. Got talking to the Owner, Lello and his staff. Ended up having a taster menu.Have visited Italy many times and know how passionate the Italians are about FOOD and FAMILY. This place is ITALY in Sandbach.

We absolutely loved this place before the refit and we love it even more now - brand new menu too, soft shell crab what a winner, I have to say that everything was socially distanced and everyone was wearing a face covering. People should support local businesses

We visited this Casa Mia tonight and had a beautiful meal, as per usual! After the recent refurb, the restaurant looks brilliant with enough room for social distancing. The new menu has a wide variety of choice and will cater for everybody’s taste! We had the soft shell crab focaccia for starters - incredible! The pizzas are cooked in a traditional and authentic pizza oven and they are to die for! There was a great atmosphere and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! Highly recommended and we will be back again soon!

We went for a weekday evening out to see the new décor and menu. We were really surprised at how close the tables were, with no dividers or attempts to distance anybody. The waiter forgot our wine, and then brought us the wrong one (we just drank it anyway!)The menus are not disposable (as per COVID guidelines) and had numerous spelling mistakes and some bizarre options. We had a focaccia which was delicious, average olives and 2 average pasta dishes, an undressed rocket salad with wilted and faded rocket leaves and a dry tiramisu. All-in-all a disappointing evening which was also punctuated with a continuously pinging microwave from the open-plan kitchen and some VERY loud Eros Ramazzotti. Sorry to say, we will not be back and will return our custom to our other local Italian.

Visited twice during 'Eat Out to Help Out' and had the Pollo Al Pepe Nero both times along with the Focaccia bread as a starter. Very quick and efficient service both times (which I know some won't like - but I do:)) and real bargain at half price.The Brandy sauce is divine!

Enjoyed a lovely relaxed meal here last week. Service was really friendly and food delicious. The sharing platter and cheese board were particular fab. Would definitely return.

Food delicious. The staff really helpful and friendly. Garlic mushrooms for me and partner had calamari. Lasagna very tasty, partner had ravioli and we shared garlic bread with tomatoes. Bottle of red wine was reasonably priced. Will be going again.

We ate here last week and tbh we were disappointed. The lasagne didn’t seem to have any meat in and the pizzas weren’t great either!! Sorry, but just being honest.

No social distancing, PPE or any changes in response to COVID whatsoever. It’s as if COVID never happened. Completely inexcusable considering how much effort other local restaurants have made. That and the stone cold main that was sent back and raw vegetables in the two other dishes translated to a truly dreadful experience. Hugely disappointing.

We visited at short notice. The food and service were good but the biggest point was the almost total lack of adherence to the Covid rules. Contact phone number requested and we were offered hand sanitiser but apart from that it was completely normal and at the moment it should not feel normal. There are the same amount of tables cramped in with zero possibility or attempt at distancing. No visors or face masks on any staff. Normal un-laminated menus which I did not see anyone cleaning between use. Cutlery on the table before hand (and it should not be). I hope I’m lucky and none of my fellow diners have Covid but I could not get out of there fast enough. They seem to not be complying at all and that’s a shame as the food and service is good. But we won’t go back.

I’ve left a 3 star review only because of the family friendly service you receive. The food itself was very basic and there wasn’t anything that we ordered which stood out & tasted amazing. Their pasta wasn’t great but it was edible. The steak was cooked to how we asked but again, nothing exceptional or exciting. What we ordered wasn’t relayed to the kitchen correctly so we had to ask for the side orders which luckily came a few minutes of eating. One of the dishes we ordered was wrong but quickly rectified. All in all, this isn’t a restaurant that we would be returning to anytime soon but we will remember them for their lovely friendly service.

Went for a meal for my daughters birthday. Big sign as you enter to say sanitise your hands, but no sanitiser in sight. All staff had no masks or visors, and there was no social distancing whatsoever. Staff changed cutlery on your table as normal and were within inches, same when putting drinks on the table. Food was lovely but I won’t be going back as didn’t feel safe at all. I don’t feel the restaurant has put any COVID-19 safety measures in place.

Delicious food, great service - highly recommend!

Walked in this evening. No social distancing I had to squeeze past people. Was sat at a table whilst waiting for ours and it was dirty. Old dirty menus no social distancing was only offered hand sanitizer when I asked! No visors. Having said that it was packed but in these times that was worrying as no distancing at all. Had to step back from staff when I complained about the distancing! Food must be nice hence being so busy but didn’t stop to try! No thanks from me!!!!

A very traditional Italian family run restaurant. The food was excellent as always. Very very friendly staff. Great atmosphere and quite popular. Good social distancing and excellent hygiene.

Having looked forward to a special occasion with our family it was disappointing to be allocated a table upstairs on our ownA couple came upstairs but were told they could have a table downstairs if they preferred as there was no atmosphere upstairs and went down leaving us on our solitary table. Would like to know the reason for this

First night opening and service and food excellent anti pasta sea food didn’t last long I asked for steak Milanese and it was delivered and I wasn’t disappointed lovely steak and risotto was also excellent it’s good to be back
