Had a great time with my family. Food was good and constantly being served and the staff was truly lovely, especially Paulo. They made the atmosphere so welcoming, it was a joy to be there.

Me and 8 girls went for my birthday. Had an amazing time, atmosphere was great with lovely, joyful staff who go beyond to make you happy! Saturday night Latino DJ was good with nice set up and strobe lights, good speakers but only scored a 4 because more people need to be there to fill the room! Food was amazing if your looking for a big buffet, out table was never empty. Big shout out to Paulo the manager he was wonderful. Thank you for a great birthday celebration:) on the day of your birthday you also eat free so only paid for drinks and service!!

We had an absolutely fantastic time! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and checked on us frequently to ask if we need anything. We went for my friends birthday and she was delighted with the amazing time we had here! Thank you to everyone. I would definitely come back here!!!

The restaurant is colourful and spacious, it was good value especially as the kids were half price, there's lots of side dishes to choose from (both hot and cold) which are all served really quickly. The meats were all delicious, as well as the baked cinnamon pineapple, but there were times when we'd be waiting for a while for the next meats to come around to the table. You can order drinks through their app, but it would be handy to be able to order sides and desserts through the app as there'd be times when you'd be waiting a while to get somebody's attention to be able to order.

After a long and eventful drive from Scotland, we checked into our hotel and visited West Quay. We had a whole host of restaurants to choose from and luckily we chose Casa Brasil! The staff were friendly, attentive and chatty. The food was terrific. The cinnamon pineapple and bananas were a hit with all four of us. Every meat was delicious and cooked perfectly. Desserts were also nice. The kids really enjoyed their virgin Pina Coladas! I noticed some reviews mention small portions of starters e.g. salads. They are but you simply need to ask for another which doesn't add anything to the bill. Overall our family enjoyed the experience and the night was an excellent start to our holiday. We will recommend to friends and family who visit Southampton in the near future.

Meeats are not tasty. Extermly dry as they keep cooking same scews all day. Not enough choice if you are not eathing pork. Beaf meat was like rock stone. Starters just ordinary. You have to pay soft drinks extra and very expensive. Will not use again

Great food service, abysmal drinks service

My group of 5 came here for dinner and cocktails on Friday and had the best time - really friendly staff who were in for a laugh and a joke, making us laugh all night - the manager was visiting the tables all night checking in on everyone and genuinely seemed to just be happy and actually enjoying talking to us all. They sang to our friend at the table and had us all laughing so hard my face hurt. On the way out we got lollipops and the bar stopped us for free shots The food was great and we were there in time for the 241 cocktail happy hour which was bonus as all their cocktails were fantastic Overall such a great night, really really great service that made our whole evening, will definitely be returning - honestly spent all night really having a great time and laughing throughout with people that genuinely seemed like theyre having a good time at work!

This is the best Casa Brasil branch, hands down. I think it helps that the staff are all Portuguese/Brazilian because they all felt like a big family and it felt like they were welcoming you in to their home. Paulo, who I presume is the owner/manager, is an absolute delight (even after I said I didn't like his region, woops- my Portuguese needs work what can I say). I appreciated greatly that he still continued to talk Portuguese with me rather than switch to English as I do love giving it a go. The food was gorgeous as always and we couldn't get enough of the ananas com canela (pineapple coated in cinnamon sugar). I don't like pork but I had three different versions because it was cooked so well and full of flavour. We ate so much! Is it your birthday? Let them know and see what happens ;) I literally came hungry and left happy. Muito obridaga e até breve!

Honestly the most fun I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Staff were amazing and the manager was fantastic. A surprise birthday song was the highlight of the night. Food was excellent. Thank you!

Food was cheap and very good for value in terms of quantity. Quality therefore drops a bit but would certainly recommend.

I had an experience last Saturday, March 16th at the restaurant. I arrived at 2 in the afternoon and they served me the side dishes ok, I sat for exactly 1 hour and they only served beef twice. It looked like a pork rodizio, because that was all there was to it. the value does not match

Absolutely incredible amazing food. Best meal (although me and my friend probably ate about 4 meals worth each) I've ever had. The staff are incredibly friendly too. Can't wait to go again. Travelled down from Nottingham to see my friend and will definitely go again next time I'm in Southampton! The desserts are amazing too, I had 6 mouses 👌🔥

If you have the pleasure of being served by Paulo then you will have an exceptional evening. Side dishes are a bit meh, but let's be honest. You're not considering booking a table here for the side dishes

The service is incredible! Hands down the best service in Southampton, the manager is so lovely and always coming to check that you’re okay, making conversation with guests! Making the experience feel really personal.. and the birthday singing for everyone, they create such a great vibe and atmosphere for guests, the food is also amazing!! Such a great choice of meats and the cinnamon pineapple is to die for! 😍

An amazing place for meat lovers that has sadly fallen from grace, with a noticeable decline in the quality of its meats coupled with a staggering increase in prices. Service remains courteous and attentive, with staff striving to maintain a semblance of hospitality amidst the culinary disappointment. However, no amount of attentive service can mask the glaring deficiencies in the quality of the dining experience.

Rather disappointed overall, we had been to the Portsmouth restaurant a good few years ago so thought we knew what to expect, I wish now I had read the latest reviews first. Instead of a buffet the side dishes are brought to you in little bowls. A garden salad with 1 slice of cucumber and one slice of tomato over leaves is not a dish to share! The macaroni cheese was tasteless and stringy. Service was slow, drinks eventually arrived after chasing 3 times, the circulation of the meats was erratic and when they did arrive our little spicy sausages were raw in the middle. Rather than a meal you are drip fed bits and pieces. The pineapple is lovely, best bit of the meal in my opinion. The staff were friendly but certainly not attentive. It's not somewhere we will be returning.

The most awful experience ever We booked for 1:30 arrived and sat between other dinners although the restaurant was not even a third full Corona on draught was not available even though on the menu staff were just not interested to be honest food was lukewarm and quite tasteless Felt not very welcome really We asked what size the deserts were the guy said not small or not big Well when they appeared it’s a good job we didn’t ask for a small we would never of seen it Toilets were dirty and no handle or lock on the toilet Really disappointing if your thinking of going don’t bother We don’t complain but this was a disgrace

We went for Valentine’s Day … were a lot of workers that day but took ages for our sides to arrive (not even talk about when we ask for more ) . We didn’t have time to order our desserts as children were getting bored and tired and anyone was available … so unorganised . food was ok nothing special but the service bad for what we paid .. my 3 year old wanted a balloon (one from the 1200 they have everywhere) and they told me they weren’t allowed to give me one , needed to last until 11 pm? Seriously .. I think they need to work more on the costumer service .. I’m doubt we would be going back …

A great night of for our birthday party group. There must have been a dozen birthdays in there and they come round and sing to each one. The food was great, endless meat options, which keep coming as much as you want. The only reason for dropping a star on Service was due to the drinks being brought to our table after we had already eaten most of our food.

My uncle and I went for dinner on a Saturday night at about 8pm. It was busy but not full. We were seated at our table, drinks order taken (two waters) and our sides requests. We after waiting 20 minutes, watching the meats go in other directions and still no drinks or sides we chased the order. Another 15 minutes and only the two hot sides delivered, cold sides still not arrived, Drinks turned up about 40 minutes after ordering and chasing 3 times. Meat service was poor, they kept going to the same area of the restaurant. We did end up getting food but service was overall terrible! Food was mediocre at best. We wouldn't go here again, such a shame given the price !

A fun evening with some nice meats. But the wait for salad bar refills and drinks was too long. The meats were great and plentiful. We often felt invisible when trying to get more drinks and food. Just not enough staffI guess.

I’ve been many times before but I was very disappointed as it was my friends birthday I called up to let them know and I even reminded that night so they could give a special casa birthday and they just didn’t do it but did many other birthdays

We had an excellent meal at Cassa Brazil.. We had a table of 10. Most of the meats were very good at the sausages were extremely salty. Chicken was great the first time it came around but the second time it was very overcooked and dry. The sides were very nice generally. But muscles were overcooked and had no flavour. Chips were cold and anaemic Not bad , but not totally brilliant.

Lovely food, pricey, but great atmosphere. Loved how the staff sung happy birthday to you, if it was your birthday.

We would definitely return it was an enjoyable meal. The meat and sides lovely. No unusual meats as I have seen before but this wasn’t a problem. Great service and welcome. It wasn’t a problem we had slightly over ordered. The sex on the Amazon cocktails arrived late and wasn’t nice. All the other cocktails lovely. It has hard to hear what the meats was maybe some for of a sign would be good. Lovely decor. Clean and a good atmosphere. It did seem like we was ushered gently to leave as soon as our card was turned red but it was getting busy.

Went there around 20:30 to grab a table for two. We were greeted by a host sitting on his phone, almost couldn’t be bothered to sit up and greet us properly. Asked for a table and he said that it’s been a tough day with bookings and been so busy so he’s decided to close the place early. With limited time off work, yesterday was the only time in weeks my partner and I had a full evening to enjoy your site. Only to be told you closed early. Super disappointing

We eat at casa brasil in port solent and the food is fantastic, so we were in Southampton so went here absolutely terrible, the rice was plain boiled rice the meat was hardly cooked the tappas were cold... (the hot ones) the same staff serving as cooking, empty restaurant waste of money and won't use again....

Such friendly staff, vibrant atmosphere and tasty food! Enjoyed it alot! Been to the one in Port Solent before and both are brilliant!

Sadly the buffet that used to make this restaurant so good has been ditched and instead we were given a selection of sides (but not the ones we would have really liked) served in awful little plastic bowls. Felt a bit like we were at a kids party! Service was generally poor. Once we were seated and drinks served, that was it. Our waiter disappeared and no one checked to make sure we had everything we needed and we weren’t asked if we wanted more drinks once those had run out. Meat was tasty but that was all that was on offer. Would have been nice to have had some fish or vegetables. Desserts were really poor. Very small portions and some of them were just inedible. Wouldn’t return in a hurry.

As always, never let's us down, fantastic atmosphere and fantastic food, staff are always pleasant and hard working, news years eve was great, 4 star on service ONLY based on they seemed under staffed , as drinks took a long time to arrive, we presume to them being so busy, I would highly recommend this place for all events or just an evening out

Does what it says on the tin, an avalanche of meat,well cooked and helpful staff but, really needed some vegetables,got a bit boring with endless meat and not much else. If you go make sure you order plentiful chips and vegetables first... Will go again.

I recently had an incredible dining experience at Casa Brasil in Southampton. The rodizio-style service, where various delectable meats are carved tableside, was a highlight. Very loud venue - you have been warned! A place to overdose on carbs with a continuous procession of waiters bringing BBQ meats of every description. The nearest we got to vegetables was the cinnamon pineapple. All food absolutely delicious. Just be aware that they will carry on bringing food until you surrender by putting up the 'no more' sign. Not a budget venue, alcohol pricey. They were only taking cash on that evening which they said was due to card machines not working which was inconvenient. Recommended.

Not sure how this place is still open. Meat was good but other than that everything else was mediocre. The side dishes were disappointing and not very well presented. It was much better when we visited around 3/4 years ago. We do not feel the price reflects the quality.

We had an amazing time here on Sunday 19th November! We arrived at 2pm and got a seat by the window that I had requested in advance. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly & helpful, one of the best teams of people working together! We didn't get everyone's names, but we did get a chance to chat with Carolina who was super helpful & friendly! Also we think the manager came to take our order and he was also very friendly & made us laugh! He spoke a bit of Italian & Spanish too! Everyone was an asset to the company! I absolutely loved the grilled pineapple with cinnamon (my favourite), the BBQ pork & the sweet chilli turkey! Visiting Casa Brasil in Southampton is always a delight. The staff, notably Miguel, are exceptional in their service, making everyone feel welcomed and cared for. The atmosphere is buzzing, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions like birthdays, with real carnival vibes and Samba drums adding to the fun. The food is of super quality, with a wide variety of well-cooked meats and delicious side dishes. Their cocktails, especially the Caipirinha, are a highlight. Although it can get busy, the overall experience is always positive, making it worth returning to.

Since Casa Brasils move to West Quay I believe it has gone downhill massively. When it was in Oxford Street the atmosphere was better and the option to get up and help yourself to the sides ie chips, salad etc was much better as well. What I find now is that you are given a tiny portion of chips between four people and the fact the different meats take so long to come round you are left with 1 piece of meat to eat on a plate until 10 minutes later somebody decides to show up with another. Felt more like a random meat taste test evening then a meal. It's not somewhere I would choose to pay for personally but as it was an evening that was paid for I'm not overly bothered regarding cost. I think they should bring back the buffet and be a bit quicker or even generous with the meats.

Came in for a birthday meal with my sisters and friends and revived the most amazing service! Special credit to our sever pedro! Couldn’t fault him, made us laugh and made it such a fun time. We visited casa Brasil as a group of friends , we were served by a lot of people that cared about us , joao kiko edu Miguel , they were the ones that served us the meat and the beautiful cocktails ! Manager team on the shift was amazing since they all received us and they were always checking on us , I believe their names were Marta , luis , Rui, paulo and the big boss Evandro! We just couldn’t forget their names because the service was beyond amazing ! The meat was perfect and since its all you can eat we left with our stomach ready for the next 2 weeks ! We loved it and the price was actually lower than we were expecting to pay , the side dishes such as rice and beans were amazing , the sirlion was cooked perfectly and we loved the pineapple in the end ! We had cocktails but we really loved the expresso martini , it was divine ! We are definitely coming back ! Good food and amazing service it’s not everyday that I can find a establishment like this

Absolutely disgraceful. No coordination of staff. Horrible staff. There was no communication between staff and food took a very long time to come considering the number of staff. Hygiene was not heard of in this place. Tables were coated in grease. Drink spillages all over the seats. There was multiple slipping hazards on the floor from the spillage of drinks but there were no warning signs to prevent accidents. The food came cold and tasteless. When I asked the waitress why the food was cold, I was given a dirty look. Never again. Stay out of this place.

Awful and I will never come again. Absolutely terrible service we had the guys come round for meat non stop pretty much, but if we wanted more drinks or starters it was near impossible. We had to ask 3 different people repeatedly for more starters and drinks. When we eventually got our starter they brought out one tiny bowl of meatballs with 3 meatballs for three adults. We spent most the night trying to get the attention of staff for more drinks and side dishes absolutely awful services. It wasn't even a busy night so it can't be blamed on that, there was plenty of staff. We eventually managed to order dessert after asking several times it came in the tiniest plastic pot, I know it's all you can eat but after waiting so long for anything and trying to get their attention we had enough of repeatedly asking staff. Most of the meat serving guys don't speak much English at all, and we had no waiters come to us until the very end when she asked if there was anything else we needed conveniently after we finished our deserts and was ready to leave. Worst service I've ever had to be honest and for the price you pay you expect better!

Food was amazing and people friendly but it took 30 mins for my drinks to arrive and I had to remind the waiters 2 times for my water and my beers, also asked for chicken hearts and a waiter done the rounds and never got to us so we were told it would be another 10 mins and it never came.

Great place for a casual family meal. Good selection on the dinner menu with a lot of tapas options for starters. Meat was well cooked and just kept coming - had to flip our card over a couple of times just to have a few minutes rest. Was so stuffed by the end that no one could manage desserts!
