Carlisle Express in Carlisle

we ordered a chicken korma which is always good but I wanted something different so I ordered the mixed kebab in a nan bread. it arrived on top of wet salad which caused the nan bread to be soak and the salad to be hot and not edible! this has forced me not to order again from here.

We had the weekday meal deal for two, unlike some curry houses that just give you the left overs to fill you up on a meal deal this place provided an excellent meal deal for two. Piping hot, delicious and far more than you can eat . We will definitely return and highly recommend.

The starter was the onion and it was very small I've seen and had pickled onions bigger they are not worth the money they ask it's a disgrace

The midweek special was excellent. Good value, more sides than you’d normally expect, fresh ingredients & great flavours. Looking forward to my next visit.

Raw chicken rude staff! Wouldn't recommend! Ordered meal for 2! The chicken was pink phoned up staff were nice,told me to order same next week they would give me it they couldn't be more sorry for the food ! This week told lies and refused! Not the 1st bad review on this!

Went to carlisle express and when the food was collected the chicken was pink. I was promised a free meal next time I went. today i rang for my free meal the staff were extremely rude and put the phone down. Would not recommend. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I regularly buy Indian Takeaways and this was one of the best i have tried. And i have been to a lot around the country. Will definately be back when in Carlisle again

Waited well over the time scale for food when it finally turned up the food felt cold an the sauce was like water an when I phoned after time scale the excuse was driver said he would be there in ten minutes this is deffo not my next takeaway on the menu

Arrived on time, all I can say it’s the best Indian we have had in Carlisle will definitely use again

We eat from here regularly and it’s always delivered hot and on time. Excellent service and excellent vegetable passanda!

It’s a shame because this place used to be so good, I remembered today why I STOPPED ORDERING from then and now order from THE PIZZA BASE. I placed an order today that I was to,d would take 45 minutes maximum. An hour and a half later it arrived, INCORRECT. I called them to let them know and instead of apologizing I was actually to,d I ordered what they delivered! 🤥😡🧐😕 Won’t EVER Order from then again! Insulting manager/owner and bad service

We always order from here, they are BY FAR the best Indian takeaway in Carlisle. No question. Staff very friendly and let you know about any delays in delivery. Food always tastes amazing and arrives before stated time 99.9% of the time anyway. USE THESE FOR YOUR INDIAN TAKEAWAY. Best in Carlisle!

We order from here every couple of months and we have never had a bad meal. The garlic naans are so tasty, very garlicky which we love!!! favourite of mine is chicken korma or chicken dansak. Also the saag aloo is yummy. Fast delivery and easy ordering process too. Normally order a set meal for 1 which actually feeds 2. You get 3 poppadoms, 2 sauces, 4 little onion bahjis, meat curry, rice, naan and a side dish.

Chicken vindaloo was superb throughly enjoyed meal came hot and fresh and delivered on time had week night meal deal great value would definitely have again

We frequently order food from Carlisle Express, and enjoy the variety and quality of the food they provide. We've always found the food to be good quality.If you order direct from their website they usually offer discounts at the weekend, which are not available on Just Eat.

I think the signage definitely doesn't do it justice at all. We order takeaway regularly from here and don't hesitate to recommend!

Placement of order to door very promt.. A tick in the box. Product delivered to door not fit for human consumption. Contacted restaurant via web page filled in all realitive fields , no contact nor any feedback.

First time using Carlisle express and would not go back. Curry very watery and bland. I read reviews on their own website and decided to give it a go much to my dismay as just ended up wasting money.
