Absolutely fantastic. Kids friendly. The big dog was absolutely massive! Can’t wait to go back next summer!

Awful food. We had the sharing platter. Clearly microwaved and sat on a hotplate. Came out way too quickly. I was really ill the next day. £25 including drinks and we'll never see that again never mind going back there. 😔 I would seriously suggest avoiding this place at all costs. 😔

Staff was poor after 3 times of giving our order first the drink was wrong, then half the mains come out then the other main was wrong then what finally come was wrong again, gave up and ate it. what we ate was tasty - wasn't really hot. Cocktails was good but wouldn't return. Shouldn't be difficult to order for 2 people- did suggest instead of trying to remember 5 things write it down! Although a discount was applied Young staff looked miserable and fed up, not a great atmosphere

Really Wouldn’t recommend. The Food looked nice until we noticed undercooked pink slimy chicken. Chips were nice!! Toilets- Absolutely vile- Need a good clean. Could make someone ill! Overall the price you pay for the standard you get is really very poor.

Food was ok but not too hot. It seems to me that the food is waiting on the hot plate waiting to come out. Mine and other patrons were served minutes after ordering. My starter was been cleared by one member of staff and they passed my mains on the way to my table. Not the best. Not much time to get ya bum on the seat before they are asking if you are ready to order. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon 👎👎

So everytime we come to blackpool, we eat here. Usually the same meal each time . The ribs & chicken wings . Its never let us down. This visit however , they opted for something else , they went for the burger meal. It was pitiful ,it was not worth the money at all . I still had the ribs and chicken and the ribs were fine but the chicken was dry but juicy at the same time ..hard to describe. There was issues with ordering as the girl taking the order couldn't seem to understand a word I was saying. Then once we got the food we were eating ,she came to ask if it was all OK, we nodded with full mouths , she then continued to stand there and talk to us about how she keeps catching people with their mouths full and how awkward it had been ...not really the time to stick around for a chat ,we were eating. Getting the bill was also slow. We had to take ourselves to the bar area to get the attention to pay. Like I said,we usually come here every visit but after the sad state of affairs with the burgers and chicken. We won't be coming back again. Its no where near the standard that's been built up over the years

Having seen reviews I decided to go myself reviews are a single persons option doesn't change the fact these people are not hard working as it could have been a  busy period when mlYou visit or the fact that theres 80 people to all keep happy. I'd say don'tread reviews and go no it's had only one star as you might give a different rating. I went when there was 2 members of staff on the evening the were fantastic to me and my family no problem too big nor too small. The food was very impressive abit pricy but if you go out once or twice a month it's well worth it if you want small portions for little price go to whetherspoons or mcdonalds. Best food around Blackpool. 2 people sitting on the same table one give a bad review the other an exceptional one why because everyone is different enjoy life and the little things. 5 stars

Cracking food, and decent value for money. We ordered the sirloin steak, the Stacker burger and the Double Stacker burger, all of which were delicious and went down very well. The staff were really lovely and friendly and happy to help. The meal came to less than £70 for 3 drinks and 3 meals, which is very reasonable, especially as the food was so good. Will definitely come back here if/when we return to Blackpool.

Arrived here for a birthday meal for a family member. First time I have been and will definitely be back. Food was brilliant, can’t believe the portions! Staff were so very helpful and very attentive, even the chef managed to find me an alternative sauce that I wanted. Great place, family friendly. Reasonably priced. See you next time guys!

We arrived on a wet evening, and was promptly seated by the friendly members of staff who immediately interacted with our 15 month old which is always nice to see :) The drinks order was taken swiftly and same with the food. I had a steak which was delicious and cooked to my liking, it's always nice when a chef knows how to cook a steak properly! Peppercorn sauce was lovely and had a kick to it, always good! My wife had the enormous hotdog! I mean this is great value for money, and with the chilli and cheese as an additional extra it's a proper feast! My only feedback would be for kids, having a slightly bigger option for the older kids would be beneficial as it was demolished and he was still hungry!! Nice place, nice staff and we will probably return for a treat. Only thing to note is THEY DO NOT DO KIDS EAT FREE HERE. It's not that clear from all the signage and I wouldn't want anyone to fall into that trap. However the food was worth eating here 😊

Couldn't book as it was walk in only when we arrived we were told there was a 40 minutes waiting time for the table we decided to have a drink at the bar and wait till the table was ready the drinks never arrived however we only waited 10 minutes for table was ready for us as a reason for this was quite apparent people walking out out due to the long waiting times before being served we got to our table and ordered the meal it took over 35 minutes to come when the food came my wife's was dry and looked in edible however this was surpassed by mine which was cold the barbecue sauce was congealed and the meat was very tough there did not appear to be any covid-19 policies in practice the staff weren't wearing masks there was no cleaning of the tables after customers use them generally and extremely poor experience the food is overpriced it is clear the owners know.this is a restaurant for tourist who only visit once so they don't need to try I would avoid this restaurant at all times

Cannot fault the food here. Enjoyed a burger with chips; my partner had the sirloin steak. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Reasonably priced for good size portions. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend

This restaurant is a great restaurant me and my family have thoroughly enjoyed eating here it has been worth what a paid the amount of food you got was loads but that ain’t a bad thing thats a really good thing because you know when you want out of the door you came in your walking out full the food is so damn tasty We are so glad that we came here really enjoyed it and great customer service skills well done Captain Jacks keep it up!!

First of all we had to wait for a table. The waiter said it would be a 5 minute wait but turned out much longer. We were put at the furthest away table and felt abandoned over there. The service was VERY slow. The food arrived before the drinks which wasn’t good. I would advise against ordering a burger as it was extremely difficult to eat. When I visited there were a lot of children which made it very noisy and quite unpleasant. Will not be back!

Advertise on their facebook that kids eat free, when you go to pay they say they are not part of that offer!! Couldn't be bothered to argue over the overwhelming noise in there. No social distancing of tables and communial cutlery that anyone could of touched on the table. Staff were all wearing visors though. Not much else going on, burger had too much gristle in it for me.

We only wanted a snack for lunch between 3 of us so ordered the Jack's platter for 2, a salad, sweet potato fries and a sharing platter of nachos. It was okay as frozen fried food, however a bit more effort could have been put into the nachos as they were just a version of Doritos. Surely you would expect a bit more effort and bake/fry some tortillas as my home version would have been far better. The staff were friendly and followed our request of some ingredients on the side. Overall an average snack.

Captain Jacks was an excellent family-friendly bar and grill. The food was great and the vibe really made you feel as though you were on holiday in the Caribbean.
