Food is always magnificent and service great.

Food was lovely, luckily it was still hot and tasted really good! Unfortunately I waited over an hour and a half for my delivery, called the place to be told it was still on the table and they were waiting for their driver, half an hour later, still no food, so we are now at 2 hours waiting, I ended up giving up and drove to the resturant myself to get my food even after the fact I had still paid for delivery. Only downside that would make me reconsider ordering from them again is that fact you've have to wait some time for a delivery, as I have waited a long time before, but I assumed they were probably just having a busy night so I overlooked it at that time.

Ordered from Lisburn road branch on Deliveroo app. No update on my order since the restaurant uses their own delivery driver. Waited 1.5 hours then tried to phone them 8 times over a period of 30minutes and no answer. Contacted Deliveroo and eventually food arrived after nearly 2 hours. Shame about the service because the food is decent and still hot when it arrived

We ordered 2 mains and 2 sides tonight and it took 3 hours to arrive from Lisburn Rd. after 4 phone calls, a promised phone call back and an excuse after 2.5 hrs that they delivered to the wrong address, and that there were only 2 drivers in tonight. We asked for a refund or discount, and we were told to ask for the premium menu when we order next by calling direct. I am not sure what this means exactly, it felt this was just to brush us off. The food arrived it was luke warm / cold, the brown rice was well over cooked, mushed and cold. There was no apology from the delivery person who was not concerned when we explained it had been 3 hrs since we ordered. We were very disappointed with the food service. We think Camille can do so much better.

The best place in Belfast for vegan food. I literally wouldn't order from anywhere else now. Food is always top notch and the best. Would recommend this place to anyone. Vegan fried rice with tofu is my usual but I try everything lol Staff are always welcoming and really nice. Place is spotless and even when I order at home the food is piping hot and fast. Lunch days are under a fiver, good big portions. Best place. Wish I'd found it sooner.

Waited two hours for food that arrived cold and with mistakes in the order. Ordered a second time a few weeks later hoping it was a once off and the same thing happened again. The phone number provided via the Uber Eats app and on other Google reviews rings once and then hangs up so is completely useless. Really disappointing

I saw a discount code advertised via a Facebook ad so decided to give this place a try. Ordered on the website to use the code. The website asked me to put in my postcode which I did, it then directed me to the Lisburn road branch to order. Waited for 1 HR 15 minutes for the food. When it arrived, the delivery driver proceeded to give me a lecture that my house was too far away from Lisburn road and that I should have ordered from Bally hackamore branch. I pointed out that I didn't select the store, it was automatically selected on the website and that Ballyhackamore is further away from my house than Lisburn road. He told me it is closer. I said it is not. He said "It is 1.5 miles closer. I can show you on the map" with a rude tone. He is wrong about that anyway so I wish I had just taken on his pettiness and got the map out. I looked up the map afterwards and there is 0.2 miles difference between the two from my house with Lisburn road actually being a shorter drive time wise. He gave off some more about how my house was outside of their delivery zone. I repeated that I hadn't selected the store and that I had made the order over an hour ago, they could have cancelled it if it was too far and that if it's outside of their zone they need to change their website settings. The argumentative delivery driver went on and on... Telling me I need to order on the phone next time. I said I didn't want to order on the phone as I had a code to use. He says "are you going to have a code every time you order?" Anyway the conversation went on and on because he just wouldn't let it go and given that I hadn't eaten in a considerable amount of time, neither did I. I was furious by the time he eventually left. If you don't want to deliver to a house don't set up your website to allow orders to go to addresses outside of your radius. My husband rang up immediately afterwards to feed this back and they were quite apologetic, the person he spoke to said it wasn't the first time the delivery driver had given off to customers and been complained about. We weren't offered a refund however. Anyway on to the food: portions were on the small side. Taste was mediocre, which was almost a relief as I certainly wouldn't be wanting to have to try to place another order with them. I have travelled around Thailand, I have done a Thai cookery course during my travels. Whilst I am not Thai so don't profess to be an expert on Thai cuisine and I appreciated that the cuisine varied regionally in Thailand, I never tasted Thai green curry as bland or pad Thai noodles as dry and surprisingly vinegary as these. Once again I'm disappointed by a meal in Belfast. Bring back Bai Tong

Variable quality of takeaway food at Camile Lisburn Road. Sometimes good and more recently the quality of the food has been poor. The onions used in the curry are quite often a brown colour as though past their best ( which is inexcusable as they are a cheap ingredient to buy.)They are the type of onions you would bin yourself. Too many green beans used in the curry too which I have to pick out. Thai food is cheap to produce, so using ingredients past their best is pretty mean, considering this is not cheap take away food. Loath to eat here again due to inconsistency.

Ordered food at 6pm, had to call after 7pm because I had no order. I was told it will be delivered soon. Had to call back at 7.30 because there was still no food. The person on the phone said she would sort it out for me. I heard nothing for another 20 minutes so I called back, she ended her shift and left without sorting it out. Had to ask for a refund. 2 hours later and no food. Terrible

We ordered a delivery we have got from here loads of times and never disappoints service is always 10/10. There was a problem with the delivery as they only delivered half the order but they quickly got it sorted and got the rest sent out in efficient time. The manager I think that called me back to apologise and to say it was getting sent out was very friendly! The driver apologised as well for the error. Everyone was great and food is always amazing! One of our favourite places to get a takeaway from and will keep getting it too! Highly recommend

Absolutely hands down the best vegan korma I've ever had. No matter what I've ordered from Camile has been above and beyond. Service is always perfect too, even when it's a home delivery. Decent prices too. Photo is from the lunch menu. Filling and such a treat. Thank you

The service was great but the food was too greasy! (I suspect the beef was rotten). As a Thai, I can personally tell that this restaurant will not sell authentic Thai food. Food too oily, inauthentic and beef tasted suspicious. I’m Thai and food doesn’t taste Thai authentic. Makanannya terlau berninyak. Curiga dagingnya busuk. Sbgai orang Thai, gue pribada dapat mengatakan bw restoran ini nggak kan menjual makanan asli Thai. Gue nggak rekomendasikan

My friend has a shrimp allergy and can make eating out a stress at times. We informed the restaurant and they were able to accommodate safely. Super happy with the service & food thank you!

So this is the 2nd time this happened. Food was late waited over an hour and a half and it was stone cold. The last time this happened it was two and a half hours late. Stone cold then too. Food was bland. I've had good food in other Camille restaurants but this wasn't great at all. The quality of food and service did not match the price.

The dishes are never exactly the same the next time you order. But they are always good.

Very disappointing food. No issues with the staff or atmosphere but the dishes I had barely resembled Thai food. Much much better Thai options nearby. If you want to try Thai food go somewhere else.

I don’t usually review businesses but in this case I feel compelled because of the absolutely appalling experience I had last night. I went in with some friends yesterday evening, and before I ordered my meal I asked at the till which of the curries had shellfish/crustacean, as I have an allergy. The worker insisted, several times, that none of their curries contained shellfish/crustacean allergens. I ask him to check, mentioning the allergy, and he again insisted that there was absolutely no risk, so I ordered a Massaman curry. I was hesitant, as I’d already had an allergen issue with them about two years ago via delivery order. At first I thought perhaps they just changed their menu since then, but to be safe I went back to my table and searched Camile Thai’s allergen list on the website. Lo and behold, not only did the one I ordered list crustacean allergens, but most of the curries did as well. I went back up to the till, pointed out the list on CT’s website to which the worker said “I don’t think they do, but I’ll check.” At this point they finally went to the back to check, and they returned with the sauce container. They said “oh, it actually does, but it’s only like tiny little pieces so it’ll be fine.” That’s absolutely unacceptable, not their decision, and obviously not how allergens work. Then, figuring a vegan curry would be fine and not contain any shellfish/crustacean by nature of being vegan, I asked about the ingredients in them. The worker again said “oh yeah that’ll be fine” but when I asked him to check, he pulled out the vegan curry sauce and said “oh, no it actually does contain a slight amount.” So, not only does the Lisburn Camile Thai not take allergens seriously, it appears their vegan curries aren’t actually vegan. If you read the other reviews here (wish I’d done before going!) it definitely isn’t the first time they’ve showed a lack of concern in this area either. Shocking carelessness and apathy from the staff about customer health no less. Anyone looking to avoid a surprise allergy attack would do well to steer clear.

We really love the food here. The delivery service has been a little of a letdown in the past, but we've learned to go to the restaurant to enjoy Thai dishes.

Quite good, but not amazing, several points which are always an issue. Much of the food has clearly not been freshly cooked, as it is served very quickly (not good in this instance) and is either hard, soggy, or not hot. I would strongly suggest visiting the Camile in Ballyhackamore instead.

Would have been a 5 out of 5 but delivery was 30 minutes late and you forgot to send the chicken skewers

Waited over 2.5hrs for delivery and no assistance provided when I rang to enquire - won’t be ordering again.

Stated several times no veg/onion in meals and the meal was full of them phoned and explained so was sent a fresh meal which was also full of veg/onion!! I am allergic so it was a complete waste of time and money will not be back

As the saying goes "it does what it says on the tin". It is a takeaway mainly so not the most pleasant to sit in but did give us opportunity to sit and talk for a little while.

Aweful service. Waited half an hour in the shop for my collection. It only appeared when I asked for a refund. The prawn crackers were missing from the bag - didn’t notice till I got home. Was charged for them of course. The rest of the food wasn’t that good either.

The food was really good but for £10.99 and nearly £5 for delivery and service charge from just eat the portion size left quite a bit to be desired. For £15 you should get far more than one small box

Their £5.99 lunch deal is excellent value. I also find their take away good. It’s healthier than Chinese and I like that they use eco containers and not the plastic ones you get in traditional takeaways. They could improve the sit in experience, the decor needs a revamp. But for good value healthy food it is hard to beat. The staff are also excellent, very friendly.

Don’t know what’s going on with Camille Thai at the minute. Used to be great. Currently 3 hours waiting and counting for a just eat order. Rung up the Lisburn road store they thought I received it already.. took them 5 minutes on the phone to work out where it was only to be told my order was transferred to the ballyhackmore branch for some strange reason when it’s basically the same distance away? Absolutely shocking sort your staff out.

Awful service at Lisburn Rd. Waited 45 mins for food which didn’t arrive despite asking twice during that duration how much longer we would be waiting. People who ordered after us were served before us, I think because they shouted louder about the appalling service than we did. Service was disgraceful which is very disappointing as I’ve always loved Camile Thai. Got my full refund & I doubt I’ll be back.

Tried this restaurant and to be surprised not a Thai person in sight. The Indian girl I think she might have been had some difficulty with English, the staff were talking in their own native language which I felt uncomfortable with considering this is Belfast, I felt like a stranger in my own area, I waited on the food for an unacceptable amount of time to be honest. Got home and I was very hungry only to be disappointed in the food, I don’t complain normally but this warranted a negative review. The food was awaful, it’s nothing like a Thai curry. More curry sauce than meat, I won’t be back again, that’s it. Terrible 😡

Just had a "chicken" Thai burrito and it was hands down the worst burrito ever made, 97% rice with a few slithers of cucumber, nearly cost a £10r, you should be ashamed, what a waste of coin, giving it a strong 0/10.

Loved this place, great service and a lot of information on nutrition, allergens, and even environmental impact. I do wish there were a wider variety of gluten free options of modifications but I had the green curry lunch special and it was delicious and gluten free.

Absolutely love Camile. As a vegan it's hard to find somewhere that has a varied menu for vegans. Consistently tasty food, friendly staff and always fast whether ordering online or sitting in. It's also very clean and tidy. Best place I've found, wouldn't go anywhere else. A real treat.

Delivery wait time is more than 2h for weekend dinner orders, and restaurant refuses to take calls so couldn’t even cancel the order. Very frustrating experience overall

I really enjoyed the meal from camil especially the kho tad nua which is mouth watered and yummy and it's a highly recommendable one to choose as you love spicier food.

Very very average. If even. Not a Thai chef in sight. Came all the way from carrick on a friend’s recommendation. Safe to say they are no longer my friend. Joking aside it’s not great.

It's been 2 hours and 10 minutes since I placed my order (18:27) and it still hasn't arrived, and the order is only 2x dishes. I've phoned up 4 times, and keep being told it's on the way when it's not. I've just had another phonecall to say it's just left the restaurant. You shouldn't take orders if you can't facilite them in a reasonable timeframe. Over 2 hours is ridiculous, and mine's probably going to be 2.5 hours at this rate. Shocking.

Great food and quick prep. I am a big fan of the Khao Soi Gai and Spice Bag, and it's one of the few places to get a good Massaman curry.

extremely poor delivery, off by an hour! They blatantly blame the delivery drivers which is unfair. Food was acceptable but definitely not worth the wait.

Waited almost two hours for my order to arrive, having called the shop several times only to keep being told- ‘it’s 5 minutes away’ The food did eventually show up 20mins after that call - I won’t be ordering the chicken satay skewers again - the meat was not just dry, but a browny pink colour inside - Not edible as far as I’m concerned. Unfortunately far from the usual standard I’ve come to expect.

Ordered a collection which could not be found, waited another 45 min to finally get my food(was told it would be 10min) Crispy chicken was far from crispy, more a chewy chicken and a large portion for £15 was mostly green peppers and very little sauce. Plus having to order a side and pay extra on top of this. Surely you can offer rice with it for that price. Poor Service, Poor Food and over priced! Used to be great to visit Camile and I have had amazing meals in various branches, but I will not return to the Lisburn road branch any more, and honestly it has put me off risking it at their other restaurants too.

I’ve been using Camile on the Lisburn road for several years now and having visited Thailand, found that the food here is second to none in delivering the closest thing to an authentic Thai food experience available in Belfast. The lunchtime menu has been my go to, on more occasions than I’m prepared to admit 😇. The atmosphere makes for a serene oasis of calm within the bustle of Belfast’s busy shopping hub, that is Lisburn road and with a special lunchtime rate that suits most anyone’s pocket. If it’s an evening meal; then again, the friendly professional service supplied is second to none. I’ve only recently downloaded the app and there are further deals to be had on it also (try the Dan Dan Noodles, on app special if you like it hot!! 🥰). Give your belly a food hug today!! 🤗 This review only gives me the option of ticking ‘dine in’. But I’ve had takeaways and delivery from Camile and the service had always been of an equally high standard.

A bunch of friends ordered and all has different meals. Nobody liked it enough to want to try it again. Also the local guy Joel has a stinking attitude He should not be working in a customer service roll Give this place a miss.

As promised in last review I have attached brought my friend back here for food. Sadly there is no improvement. I ordered a prawn red curry, whilst my friend ordered tam yung soup with fried Asian greens. I think there were seven small prawns and bulked up with butternut squash, which does little to lift it and definitely not Thai. My friends soup was so poor a makeshift effort at Thai soup. The greens were unappetising. Took 25 minutes to come as they seem to prioritise carry outs. Definitely worst Thai around. Warm drinking water fountain and they had no ice. Hard to say anything positive except that the Indian workers were pleasant.

Hi I ordered this evening at around 6.50pm and recieved my order number through your app. I payed through Google pay and was told it would be delivered within 29 mins. I rang after an hour and was told that no such order existed. I was asked if I was sure it was the right shop and was informed you had other orders to get through and you would call me back. Not only did you not call back you refused to answer 2 more phone calls I made. I have a screen grab of my order confirmation which I had read out on the phone and offered to show. This bad review comes after several bad experiences recently in which orders that I made over the app, on deliveroo and in person have either been discarded (my ticket was thrown away because I apparently ordered too early for a later collection which is a service offered on the app but your staff is not familiar with) or it was over 2 hours delivery for an order with a 45 min wait time to my house. Even when I choose to collect my order and leave as late as possible to collect after receiving notification that its ready, its never ready and if you ever ask about your order you are usually told they're busy. I'm aware of how busy restaurants and take away employees are and how hard they work but I have honestly never encountered this number of problems ordering from anywhere else. I like your brand, I ordered once a week, the service here would have to greatly improve for me to ever order again.

Been a while since I got a meal here. You have to pay at counter first,then grab a seat and wait. It seemed tu be all Indian workers. Bit strange for a Thai restaurant. I ordered a beef panang with boiled rice. Was told they only do chicken or chick pea panang. I told the gent I never saw a place that does not do beef,to which he said I will cook beef for you. I went to a table after paying. It too more 23 minutes to arrive. It did not look a lot and plates were cold. It strangely had butternut squash and fresh green beans,both almost raw. It was more like a satay with a hint of panang. I did not eat it all as it was not tu my taste. The workers are fine,if slow. I will go again but only when the notion strikes me. There are much better Thai around.

This food made my partner sick! The duck was very tough and fatty, only half of this dish was eaten. The beef tasted burnt as though it was cooked in a dirty fryer. The cauliflower was very greasy and soggy. Overall very disappointed with the food. I always put leftovers in the fridge to eat the next day but half of this food went straight to the bin. Complete waste of money, and it wasn't cheap. Sadly, we'll not be back.

When collecting the order, the order was brought out to me fully labelled and explained. They went above and beyond to help. Food was fantastic as well. Will be back.

Consistently the best food in Belfast. Accommodates for vegans & vegetarians. The service is super friendly and pleasant. Iv eaten Thai all over Belfast ans this sets the bar super high - it’s like a whole other cuisine. Try a spice bag it will blow your mind. I love you Camille

Camile Thai UK I ordered take away from your Lisburn Road restaurant. After over an hour of waiting for our order the food arrived cold. There were missing and wrong items in our order. This was a massive disappointment for me as a vegetarian who had been sent food items which were meat items. I then contacted the restaurant. After a number of attempts to get through I was dismissed and the staff asked if they could call me back. I asked to speak to a manager and advised they hadn't even taken my order number in order to address the issue. To my absolute shock and horror the staff member hung up on me. I then tried to ring the restaurant back and was unable to get through. Disgusted in your customer service is an understatement. Thankfully I was able to contact your delivery driver who was able to provide reassurance. I understand this is a difficult time for hospitality but I feel extremely disappointed in the lack of customer care shown by your staff and abhorrent dismissal of a paying customer who has waited over an hour only to receive cold and incorrect food items.
