The best waffles I've had in my life! I found then 4 years ago when I was doing a semester abroad and now 4 years later I came back and they're as delicious as they were before! Super special place, the waffles are amazing! A super must if you're in Cambridge.

Underwhelming but maybe I should’ve arrived earlier (showed up a bit after 11am). Waffle was of the dense (as opposed to fluffy) variety. Not very fresh or flavourful.

Visited here after reading the good reviews, I’m so glad we did. Service was friendly and quick. I can honestly say it was the best waffle I’ve ever had, far better than shop bought & others I’ve had. The waffle was thicker, more substantial & so tasty. The toppings were great & again very tasty. Prices very fair. This is an excellent place to have a treat while in Cambridge.

Absolutely fantastic Waffles, I ordered a banana split and can't get enough of it. The chocolate with ice cream plus fresh bananas made this an absolute treat! You can also pick the ingredients that you like here other than the ones on the menu. Very delicious, recommended 👍🏻

## NOTE. This is for a user of #TooGoodToGo program. I ordered items of this shop via the #TooGoodToGo program, in which I should have been able to get leftover products roughly costing £9.00. Then, I got 2 plain waffles and 1 half-cup of chocolates (to melt and pour over the waffles). According to the owner (and the menu list), one costs £3.50; and 2 does £7.00. The products were tasteful and definitely reasonable to get them at £3.50. But, I wish all customers ordering via TooGoodToGo are aware that those value £7.00, not £9.00. According to the owner, the price difference was due to the tricky system of the TooGoodToGo. I cannot get the details, but as far as the owner was aware of the difference, I wish, he had informed me of it when I got the products or opened the bag. I am sorry, many users may have misunderstood that products had cost £9.00. I have posted the photo of the waffles and chocolates poured, to which I sprinkled cocoa powder by myself. I did edit this after text conversation with the owner.

Went to stand for first time since October, and was glad to re visit.Got the Belgian Brazilian waffle, with cream,nuts, caramel, ice cream and chocolate.Highly recommend this one, it is the ultimate treat.Stand runner very friendly and efficient, even let me do white AND milk chocolate!If you ever go to market, get a waffle from here.It is the waffle stand, the only true one in my opinion.

The Waffles and the Proprietor ! (Choose your own way round). A great way of tasting Belgium (and the waffles really did taste as good as some we had in Bruges) on a chilly winter's day in Cambridge. We sat in, ate the chocolate waffles, drank coffee and chatted to the owner. I recommend it completely. Enjoy.

I spent a couple of months in Cambridge through work and found out about the waffle stall through the Too Good To Go App. The waffles and the hot chocolate were the best I've ever had and can only be recommended. The service by the owner was also exceptionally nice! The thing I miss most about Cambridge is definitely Be Waffle 🇧🇪

Tasty waffles served by the polite and courteous owner! Make sure you stop by if you want a sweet treat. What is a super plus I think for this business is that they not only serve up tasty food but are conscious of wasting any of it so they are part of the ‘Too Good ToGo’ movement where they sell food at reduced cost! That’s how I got introduced to BE Waffles. Simply brilliant!

The BEST waffles ever! So many options and very delicious. The customer service is great and the people working there are very polite and nice. This is a place I always want to visit when comming to Cambridge alone or with family. Great little area to sit when its cold or raining and you want to sit down and eat. I highly recommend trying them AT LEAST once and I bet you will fall in love with them like i did!

Wir waren Ende Mai bei Be Waffle und sehr zufrieden. Eigentlich nur auf der Suche nach Kaffee bekamen wir zu unserem Cappuchino ein kleines Stück Waffel dazu, so dass wir am nächsten Tag zurückkehrten und zum Kaffee auch noch jeweils eine Waffel bestellten. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut und sowohl Kaffee als auch Waffeln können wir nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Gerade der Kaffee schmeckt deutlich besser als bei den umliegenden Ketten und die Variationen und Vielfalt an Waffeln sind super :). Auch die Bedienungen und der Inhaber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder :).

I always recommend this place to my friends, because the waffles here are simply the best I have ever tasted!!! The waffles are made fresh right in front of you (meaning they're usually warm!), and there is a huge variety of flavours (including fruit, chocolate, and lots more). My personal favourite is the "marquise" - blueberries, strawberries, bananas and dark chocolate.Other good things: the owner is always super kind, and there is also a little sheltered seating area if you don't want to take away.

But you’d be wrong!Junior tried some new food for lunch so I bought him a waffle as a treat. Unfortunately for him, he had a cold so ice cream was out of the question so it was either crepes, sweets or a waffle. Fortunately, he close the waffleI was a little surprised at the prices, £4.50 for a waffle with chocolate and strawberries. But as my wife said, how much chocolate?!!!All were happy (apart from wife). Big surprise was the slightly crunchier waffle. Not sure if that was intentional but it was yummy

I travelled in lots of countries and Bernard's waffles are the best ones in the world for me. That is why it is very hard to buy waffles elsewhere as I am always disappointed. Bernard is very accommodating and his waffles are very original and tasty. You can even have them cut in bits if you want to share.

I am forbidden from taking my daughters to Cambridge without visiting "Monsieur Waffle". My time line is full of pictures of delirious kids getting high on the deliciousness. Do yourself a favour........

Ich habe 2015 ein halbes Jahr in Cambridge gelebt und bei jedem Besuch in meiner Herzens-Stadt darf eine belgische Waffel am Markt nicht fehlen. Wenn ich Freunden und Bekannten Reisetipps in Cam gebe, sind die Waffeln ein Muss. Früchte, Eis, Sahne, Saucen... und - ganz wichtig - belgische Schokolade, für jeden ist was dabei. Ich empfehle dringend die "Brazilian Waffle". Auch der Inhaber ist unheimlich nett und immer bereit für eine charmante Unterhaltung über Stadt, Land und Leute - inklusive französischem Akzent.

Tombé sur cette échoppe par hasard en visitant Cambridge, je suis enchanté de m'etre arreté à Belgian Waffles. Les gaufres sont exquises et le propriétaire (belge de surcroît) est super agréable et accueillant. Bref, un morceau de Belgique en plein Cambridge. A goûter sans hésitations.

At first, I was deterred by a passive aggressive board detailing how to politely order a waffle, but eventually I decided to go for it, and I certainly did not regret! The owner cherishes his French accent as well as the art of making proper waffles and coffee.

Ok so there may be one or two other sights and attractions worth seeing in Cambridge, but I doubt many are as satisfying as a waffle from this place!! We assumed the waffles would be fine but not worth nearly £5. Instead we came away feeling like we'd had a real treat. There is a large range of topping combinations to choose from, or you can make your own for £1 per topping. We had strawberries, melted chocolate and ice cream and it was delicious. So nice in fact that we later came back for a plain one, which was possibly even nicer by itself! The owner is actually Belgian (or does a good accent!!) and seems a really nice man. Next time we're in Cambridge we'll be heading straight for another dose of waffles!

Enjoyed sitting at BeWaffle and talking with the shop owner! These are a must to eat if you come to Market square in Cambridge. You would be a fool not to immediately order one of these wonderful chocolate covered waffles!

There was a huge selection of toppings to choose from. We chose a Jackson Pollock. The waffle was warm and delicious, and the white, milk and dark chocolate drizzled over were 'proper' chocolate, not cheap chocolate sauce. The waffle was sliced into small squares so it was easy to eat with the little wooden fork. There are a couple of chairs and tables but we took ours with us and enjoyed them while watching the hustle and bustle of Cambridge go by.
