Visited for the day to meet family staying there, gorgeous surroundings, cabins looked amazing, touring pitches large, clean and great facilities

Just had a fab stay over Easter with tourer.. showers/toilets 100% immaculate.. staff are fantastic and the pub/restaurant was good value for money .. enjoyed so much we booked for spring bank holiday

We stayed in our motorhome at Caistor Lakes. It is a quiet, adult only campsite with fishing lakes. Exactly what you need for a relaxing weekend away. Facialities are immaculate with everything you need for a motorhome or caravan. We've been there a few times now and will definitely go back.

Called in for dinner whilst passing by, excellent choice, excellent service and excellent food.

Waitress spilled a coke on myself and my nephew. 3 of our party ordered the chicken and waffles and none of our chicken was properly cooked. Furthermore I'm pretty sure it was just the same chicken refried when our food returned. The staff were very pleasant and apologised, and we were offered a discount on our bill but after such a negative experience I doubt we will be coming back

We stay in our Motorhome here. Staff always helpful and friendly. Restaurant very good for breakfasts etc. Always clean and well maintained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for my 50th birthday. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The lodge was lovely and a great setup, too. We chose the bedroom nearer to the hot tub. My husband enjoyed fishing off the balcony. We stayed in Cygnet and would definitely choose the same lodge. The shower was lovely, too. The ugly duckling restaurant was lovely, too, with amazing staff. Also, Caistor chinese is a must to try. Collection and cash only, but it's only two minutes drives away and cash point in the co-op, the best we've had .We all definitely want to come back and can't wait for our next stay. Many thanks to everyone for making our stay memorable.

Great little campsite shop with a bar and café. Serving a small selection of alcoholic drinks and also teas and coffees. Great bacon sandwiches and brilliant views overlooking the valley.

Rented a lodge for new year. Very clean and relaxing. Had excellent meal in the restaurant ugly duckling. Food was exceptional and the service was above and beyond other restaurants we have used. Also %10 off for being in a lodge. Winner. Highly recommended.

Lovely setting. Welcoming and friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Food was delicious, timely and the view out from the restaurant was lovely onto one of the lakes. Plenty of choice on the menu and reasonably priced too. Well decorated and furnished so nice to sit in. Tables and a more relaxed area. Large cappuccino was more like a bucket which was great for a coffee lover. Chips were delicious but I couldn't finish the club sandwich so the kind staff member popped it in a container for me. A lovely lunch. Even enjoyed the rural views driving to it. I'll take friends and family back with me next time. And I'll remember to take cash to give staff a tip as I was unable to put it on card!

Called in for an impromptu birthday lunch with family, including young children and dogs. The staff were very accommodating, seating and serving us quickly, and the menu selection was fantastic and great value. We were served by Ann who was wonderful with the children and advising us about the menu, making a special fuss of my father for his birthday. Will definitely be back!

Just had a fantastic meal, it was great having the option of a small plate meal. The chips were the best I’ve ever had.

This is my first visit to the restaurant, I visited here with my friend, I took her for afternoon tea for her birthday. We also took her little one with us. Afternoon tea was booked and paid in advance, As this s the requirement for afternoon tea. The staff where welcoming upon arrival, and extremely polite, the restaurant was warm cosy and clean, you could also smell the food cooking. We were seated to our reserved table, the waiter came to our table and gave us menus, so we could select drinks. My friend ordered a latte, I just had tea. The waiter took our menus away, the lady in the restaurant fetched another menu, to order little ones food from. She had chicken nuggets and potato tots, when her food came out I was shocked by the quality, freshly made food, not processed like you get elsewhere. Our afternoon tea was big, I was super happy that there was more savory available on it, so many places do too much sweet. The afternoon tea consisted of sandwiches, tuna cucumber,tuna mayo, chicken with mayo. Vegetable quiche, mini pasty, Yummy soup. Also a little pot of gherkins and cheese so much better than the mundane side salad. On the next tier where cakes, that consisted of brownie, Victoria sponge, I think trifle although taste was a mix of trifle and eton mess. Top tier had scones , 1 plain 1 fruit, jam, and cream for each one. The food was tasty and very filling, the brownie was lush and tasted like chocolate ganache. The scone was quite savory and you could taste the salt in it, I only add a little cream, and not jam as I don't like it on scones really, but that's just a preference. I liked everything I ate apart from the quiche, again that's just preference my friend enjoyed here's too. All together the cost was about £41.00. The afternoon teas are, £14.95 each. I would definitely visit again in the future. The staff are lovely and the food is quality. This restaurant is worth a visit.

My daughter booked a tea for two for my 50th birthday all the food was delicious and home makef the staff that was working that day were all lovely and attentive putting up my balloons and 50th banner also my banner on the table certainly come back and do that again thank you very much

I booked afternoon tea for my mums 50th and the food was exaqusit and the staff went above and beyond and was very intentive on the day . The table was set out all nice wirh decorations and balloons . Would rate the experinence 10 out of 10 and would highly reccomedn the restauramt and afternoon tea.

Me and my wife stayed on site and enjoyed some fantastic food, so much so we payed a visit to the butchers that supplied they're meat! The staff were really friendly and we can not speak highly enough of all of them. Our dog Ted also enjoyed star treatment from everyone there. Definitely recommend 👌

This has become my favourite establishment for breakfast in the area. I take my elderly Mum for home cooked food most weeks and it is welcoming, inviting and the staff are friendly and helpful. The decor is modern and food always fresh, hot and cooked to order. Would recommend to anyone as the prices are also excellent for the quality of food served.
