Cailin's Sushi bar in Glasgow City

I have to say. I ordered through Deliveroo and the Steak Terayki bento box was absolutely amazing. Also the Californian rolls. By far the best home delivery I have ever had. Yum yum yum

Hemos pedido de este restaurante durante años y la comida siempre ha sido excelente. Sin embargo, la comida de esta noche fue mediocre para decir lo mejor. No podíamos esperar a conseguir el rollo Spider, nuestro favorito durante muchos años y siempre delicioso, bueno, siempre estaba delicioso, esta noche sabía. . . ¡nada! Requested it for 7 pm didn't get it until 7.30 pm! I had to phone twice! Not only that the guy who answered the phone was the rudest person ever! I was told the driver was delivering for 4 different restaurants and I was NOT ALLOW to cancel my order!

Very pleased, food was freshly prepared and hot when arrived. Sushi took me by surprise, incredibly tasty and flavourful. Highly reccomended.

Sushi was very nice, but noodles and bento box were cold. Fish in the Bento was also overcooked a lot and quite hard, the dumpling dried out and the salad warm. To be fair, it probably wasn't a great choice for a takeaway, and I am sure the place is good for a sit in.

Food was absolutely outstanding. I assume it was late as it was New Year's day. Will definitely order again.

I ordered the sushi at 8:15 and it did not get delivered until 11:30pm. While they were not able to get a hold of me for some reason, they said at 9:50 when I called the restaurant that it would be delivered ASAP. It was then delivered almost two hours later.

Great sushi spot! More than impressed. Staff was as friendly and dishes amazing. Cost isn’t too expensive but not cheap either.

Estoy empezando a desarrollar mi experiencia en restaurantes japoneses, así que estoy empezando a conocer la diferencia entre lo bueno y lo malo. Mis mejores hasta ahora han estado en Swansea Wales y hasta ahora no he tenido ninguna experiencia realmente mala.Este era simplemente promedio. No creo que la comida estuviera recién hecha (no está mal) y sabía bien, pero no era un momento delicioso. He tenido mucho mejor por el mismo precio y para ser honesto no volvería de nuevo.No está mal, pero no es para mí.

Personal completamente desatento y grosero. La chica detrás del mostrador estaba sentada lo más alejada y oculta posible, y estaba justo en lo que creo que es WeChat todo el tiempo. Ella era increíblemente renuente a hacer nada. La comida era muy, muy lenta, y cuando llegó, en shock y sorpresa, apenas una palabra de esa chica. No volveré, y te recomiendo que no vayas tampoco.

This place is terrible food you will be ill as not fresh at all staff was so rude when I complained told me no refund etc terrible !!!! What a joke do not eat here will never be back

the sushi was good but the rest was bad. I got a beef teriyaki bento box which was transported on its side so all the sauce came off the beef and went on to the rice and it was that low quality shaved beef so wasn’t pleasant. Also ordered veg gyoza which were over cooked and not very nice. everything was stone cold and I don’t have a microwave. They are primarily a sushi restaurant so maybe just don’t deviate from that. Cost quite a lot too and half went in the bin.

Food was cold when it arrived and curry had spilled out into all other parts of the bento container meaning everything was covered in cold curry. Tempura veg were also cold. Bit disappointed.

Food is great. Delivery is terrible. Consistently 45 to 60 minutes late, and this time the miso was poured out over the rest of the bag.

It was later in the evening and I was absolutely craving something light. In my hometown of Melbourne I am spoilt for choice of Japanese food so was pleasantly surprised to find fresh ingredients and a particularly tasty croquette here.

the tonkatsu ramen's soup base was a little sour for some reason. I have had this ramen before (also delivered) and it was so much better without the sour taste. hopefully it wasn't because it was off :/

We just moved to Partick and haven't got ourselves settled yet, so when the menu was put through the post slot we decided it was a good end to the day and we weren't disappointed. The seaweed salad was fantastic, as was the nigiri and the rest of our order. We'll definitely order again.

Love cailin's because you can get takoyaki AND salmon skin at the same place. Always have good food from here but this time tried the vegetable tempura agemono and loved it too. Ordered on a weekday, still got same fresh and tasty food as always

We made a complete mistake walking into this small joint. Both food and service was well below acceptable standards and that could possibly be one of the reasons this place was NOT at all busy. Overall--4/10

Really nice food and service. The fish sashimi combo is really fresh and the onigiri are full of salmon. Quite surprises and amazing taste.This shop also provides small bags of soy sauce, wasabi and a container which is really convenience. I ordered sushi many times at here , totally huge fan.

My first time ordering from this place. And not often i order sushi. Absolutely terrible. My partner ordered Chicken Teriyaki at a cost of £11. It was pork instead of chicken and was like airplane food. Tiny portions. I ordered Chicken Katsu Agemono at a cost of £7, expecting a decent sized meal but all i got was a tiny chicken breaded fillet that i could get in a supermarket for less than a pound. Couldnt believe it. Rang the restaurant and all they could say was sorry, no offer of a refund etc. How they have so many good reviews i dont know. Also, just eat customer service, thanks for ending the live chat 3 times when trying to explain the situation. Useless!

Amazingly presented sushi just in time for lunch! :)

It was alright. Forgot one of my items but everything was resolved when I called them. The restaurant even included some complementary temakis for the trouble. I've enjoyed every dish. My wife said that the beef teriyaki was ok but the meat could be a little better. Overall recommended

Lovely service, however the waiting time was unacceptable. Took over a hour to deliver 3 item and the tuna tasted funny apart from that the food is lovely. Will reconsider this place.

We ordered vegetarian dumplings for my vegetarian partner and meat ones were sent. So I called immediately and they said it would be 20mins. I called 35 mins later to be told they were now on the way. After 45mins I called to cancel them as they still hadn't arrived and asked for a refund. Which was given. But nothing else. Just the price of that course not goodwill gesture from the restaurant or just-eat. Mistakes are made but to not keep someone informed or try to rush the correction through and then not offer anything else by way of apology is poor service

50 minutes late and most of our meal was cold. I like the sushi dishes from here, but wouldn't order takeaway again. Really disappointed.

Very disappointed in this sushi restaurant. I used to use them all the time and very much enjoyed it. It was such a shame to have hot and cold food delivered in the same bag - meaning the sashimi was warm. The Japanese chicken was cold and soggy/dripping. The one thing I was excited about - the bubble tea - I was told that the delivery driver "had given it to another customer". To be fair to them... they delivered another one in 40 minutes. Will never be ordering again.

I ordered the DragonRoll, the avocado on the outside was already brown, looked not that fresh. Also the taste of the sushirice wasnt that good, even the populair CaliforniaRoll wasnt as tasty as i thought it would be. Had lots better ones, price is way too high for this quality sushi. Also have ro rate the service in the restaurant, but don't know cause i've ordered delivery/take away.

This was my second time ordering from here and the food was still excellent. I've been ordering here because they have a good vegetarian sushi menu with lots of options. Food has been consistently great but delivery takes an age. Even longer than the already lengthy estimated delivery time.

Delivery was 15 minutes later than told. When the order arrived, one item was missing. I phoned the restaurant and was given a refund which was fairly easy, just a shame I had to. I also ordered a Volcano Roll which is meant to contain salmon. It did not - instead it was crabstick which I didn't particularly like. The rest of the order was lovely, fresh and great tasting sushi. Shame about the 2 issues which brought it down.

My sushi tasted great, but the wasabi, soy sauce and chopsticks were missing..

My order was apparently delivered to a person that wasn't me. When I called to enquire about it I was offered no solution and hanged up on, as if this was my mistake.

Excellent service. There was a minor hiccup with the order but the customer service was brilliant and a replacement delivered extremely promptly. Delivery driver was very pleasant. Food fantastic. Will order again.

El pescado era fresco, arroz era perfecto, y cuidado en la presentación, que ha sobrevivido durante el proceso de entrega. Grandes fans de Yo Sushi pero este lugar era mejor. No puedo esperar para hacerlo otra vez y espero que sea ir en persona pronto.

Very pleased - fast delivery at dinner time, good value (as sushi can be very expensive) and some really yummy food. If anything the salmon was a little bland but overall I would definitely order again.

Great take away. It was pretty good when arrived at home although a bit slow delivering but I am assuming this was because it was a Saturday dinner time, so quite a busy time for them. But will definitely be ordering again

Ordered on Deliveroo for the sushi platter and it was fantastic and arrived promptly and well packaged, would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for sushi in the west end!

The food was delicious as ever, but the last two times I've ordered prawn katsu, I have received instead prawn tempura. Great delivery service.

Ordered from here this evening and have ordered from here on a previous occasion and have to say I can't fault it at all! The delivery was quick and the delivery man was very nice and polite when dropping off the order. The food was delicious and I will definintely be ordering from here again. I was not happy with my experience with Cailin's sushi. It took approximately an hour and a half for the food to arrive (>30 mins over the estimate) , and portion size was shockingly small. Not worth the £35 charged.

Food was delicious would order again! Only thing- an additional sachet of soy sauce would have made it perfect!

the food was okay but after adding 20 minutes onto the delivery time it was then another half an hour late. took me ages to find the phone number to ring and ask where it was. when I finally got through the person on the other end wasn't helpful at all, didn't sound like she had a clue what going and barely even gave me an apology. usually like this place however this has happened more than once and the food quality is going downhill.

I ordered vegetable dumplings which were displayed on the menu as vegetarian. The dumplings I received were not vegetarian. Called the restaurant and they were adamant they were vegetarian. Food was look warm when it arrived. Although it did arrive earlier than scheduled.

Delivery time was meant to be 20:20 arrived at 21:05 45mins late really isn't acceptable. Phone restaurant and was basically told it's really busy so just have to accept it. Sushi is good however unfortunately the punctuality is getting worse every time don't think I'll bother again.

Order was quick to arrive, well before stated delivery time. I ordered a spider roll, and my only complaint is that the bater of the soft shell crab was thick which leaves much to be desired. Other than that, food was great!

Have been getting sushi here for years, always quality!

Well, after ordering for three times, I have to say this time I'm a bit disappointed with the chicken teriyaki. I expected the quality would just like the donburi series. The taste was not so decent and the portions are much less than donburi. I even doubt if it is because the chief was off when I ordered it. So I would only recommend the donburi especially the grilled eel donburi. Hope you can do better.

Food slightly cold however good food!

The unagi don only had 5 small pieces of unagi and loads of rice. It is not worth the price.
