I frequent this wonderful Cafe anytime I'm in town. Great food, lovely staff, can't say enough good things. Highly recommend to anyone.

This cafe offers South American Cuisine that you can never find in any other cafe around Preston. The food is scrumptious and the coffee is what you need for your daily pick up. The cafe has a cozy ambience and the staff are super friendly. Besides serving South American food, they also sell the most lovely pastries and other snacks or candies from South America. If you fancy something different, this is a place to check out!

One of the most unique cafes in Preston. Child and allergy friendly. My daughter has multiple allergies and they were amazing at catering for her. Really appreciate it. Food and coffee were delicious. Staff attentive and friendly.We will be back! Thank you x

Apart from being abit chilly the food and service was absolutely perfect if you get a chance the açai bowl and any dish involving sausage is a must!

An amazing little cafe in the heart of Preston, situated on the Flag Market. Excellent authentic food and exceptional cakes! The coffee is amazing and also available to buy either ground or in beans. Friendly and courteous staff, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend!!

Nice coffee break today, shame our server acted quite negatively when we said one of our coffees was warm at best. He made us another, though didn't look too happy about it. Atmosphere made it for us.

Many unique drinks and food here. All things I had were tasty and I'd definitely come back again! There are many sweets like cakes and truffles so I wanna try these next time.

It may be because I'm slightly hungover but I had a moment when the bossa nova horns swelled and I bit into a plantane where I was transported to South America.

Loved this place, only ordered coffee but it was amazing with its own twist. Finished and immediately wanted another, ha! I would definitely have ordered food but had already eaten, it was a shame too as the menu looked delicious. I'm absolutely going to come again and definitely going to get some lunch next time- with more coffee!!!

This a great place, something different. Fantastic coffee and cakes. Tasty food for breakfast or lunch. I had the shredded chicken and avocado arepa followed by a golden latte (turmeric and vanilla)

When you see the south american logo you get excited!! Then you think about cheese bread (pão de queijo). I saw them first, and I thought with myself :it was definitely from the day before. They assured me it wasn't!! 🙄 I had the first bite and it was from the day before. Hard and tasteless!! Other than that, average service and good atmosphere in the centre of Preston! 👍🏽

Cafuné is a lovely little gem. The food is delicious, the menu is excellent! Highly recommend the Reina Pepiada Arepas, they're so creamy and light. The staff are really nice and it has such a nice, relaxing atmosphere.

Soooo Good! We popped in here for lunch today. My partner had been wanting to try it for a while. We were not disappointed. Lovely clean little cafe and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a decaff latè and it was one of the nicest coffee's I've had. The food was so fresh and tasty and was it great to try something a bit different. Lovely presentation even for a sandwich. My little boy loved the smoothie, although he couldn't quite finish it! Looking forward to going back to try something else.

One of my favorite places here, being used to Spanish cuisine it's very comforting to have similar food right in town. The Carnita Arepa is delicious and nicely portioned, and the inside of the restaurant feels nice and cozy. The coffee is incredible and topping it off with a dessert like a Mango Cheesecake slice is just as good. Also like the staff, each time we have gone in it has always been consistent & friendly! Really nice South American cafe in Preston. I sat inside and got a lovely custard cake and cappuccino. It also sells some South American coffee and foods. It's got seating on two floors and outside, as well as toilets.

One of the best cafes I've ever been to, first time visiting. Really clean and fresh smelling. Very clean toilets. Best tasting hot chocolate and vanilla slice cake ive ever had. Very pleasant staff. Proper boxes to take food out in. Very good with the service and food👍 Will defo be coming back again

Was a little outside of my normal breakfast choices. However I thoroughly enjoyed the cafuné breakfast, with a Brazilian cappuccino.

First time here and won't be the last. Argentinian was perfect.

Breath of fresh air for Preston simplistic but authentic decor with great tasting coffee and delicious cakes its brilliant to have something a little different and unique for a change.

I have been visiting Cafune for 3 years and it is safe to say it's my favourite place for lunch, coffee and cake in Preston, really anywhere! The food is consistently delicious, the coffee is rich and smooth and the custard cake.....don't get me started. My partner ordered a whole one for my Birthday cake because I love it that much. I wished I lived in Preston centre so I can visit everyday, as a compromise I got a job just up the road so no I basically can! Also, staff are wonderful. Friendly, helpful and obviously passionate about the food and the coffee. Love it all

A hidden gem on the Preston High Street just opposite the Harris museum. Loved the mango and coconut cappuccino. Great decor and music. Will definitely be back.

Wow just wow, what a find! So glad me and my friend found this hidden gem (not that hidden to be fair) in the heart of the city. Do not be deterred by the Plywood interior, You will soon notice the artwork on the walls and the chilled effect this has on the venues atmosphere. Food and service are both amazing, with a menu offering many vegetarian and gluten free options to cater for all groups. This includes gluten free cornmeal pancakes and bread products. Also offers more alternative special coffee's and fresh cakes. This is one of the first places I have seen that have utilise QR Codes for the menu, both helping to save the environment due to non paper being used, but also to help prevent cross contamination between customers Would high recommend this place for a small bite to eat, a coffee , or a mix of both if you fancy it! The food is fresh and the fresh coffee is to die for, you won't be disappointed. Visited here for the first time today and was very surprised. The food is excellent and tastes very authentic! The Dulce de Leche cappuccino was a highlight as was the cheese filled hash brown. Highly recommend! My only gripe is that they don’t accept Amex

The perfect spot honestly. Arrived with my Sister and son, we sat outside due to having a pram. No issues at all, more than enough space, very welcoming and friendly staff, affordable, food was absolutely delicious. The whole atmosphere is definitely worth it !!! Will indeed recommend and return !!

Excellent first experience at Cafune. I had The Chivito with a Brazilian Latte. The first bite I had of my Chivito, which is warm beef, ham, fried egg, gooey mozzarella, pickles and tomato all on a toasted mayo bap, was phenomenal. I didn't have the pickles or tomato on it but my word that first bite took me to another world. The latte was on point too. Service was great and the food came in a timely manner. The food actually arrived faster than the hot drinks I'd ordered for my partner, son and I. Definitely will be visiting here again.

Best coffee in Preston hands down. I'd highly recommend the breakfast menu too, especially after a good morning run. Always a pleasure to visit.

Would definitely recommend the pancakes here! The staff are all really friendly. They take card and have good covid restrictions that they’re obviously still getting used to. The smoothies are lovely and cool on a hot day.

Salty over priced food . Really bazzire place that butters your toast when you havnt really asked for it! I think the market for this place is kids with more money than sense as what's really on your plate costs about 3 pounds not 8 pounds .No attempt made at social distancing as a woman was sat right behind me. Have been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The coffees are very decadent with the Nutella etc but they arent half are lovely! Even the more standard coffee you can tell are high quality beans and proper stuff.The menu isn't the biggest but its all the better for it. Each item is clearly explained in detail and which region its from. The meats on the sandwiches. I can only assume they're marinated the day before because they taste amazing beyond what ham or beef normally should. The little light salad its served with is refreshing as well. The decor might not be the most fancy dan but everything feels very authentic and the food is lovely

Nice healthy lunch with good staff. Really good effort to make the cafe Covid secure with QR code menus, sanitising the chairs and tables before we sat down, visibly seeing staff sanitising their hands regularly.

A lovely Brazilian themed café with tasty fresh coffee and traditional Brazilian ) Portuguese custard cake and Pata Di Naya puff pastry custard tarts. Rustic but bright and cheery interior and friendly staff. A highlight would be the view of the town square and impressive Harris building. Toilets are up some spiral stairs didn't see an accessible option.

The coffee here is fantastic. I highly recommend the Argentina coffee. Very chilled atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is good with a large variety to choose from but I would say the Choripan is a must.

Polite and cheerful service, good coffee with interesting flavour combinations (coconut and mango latte?? My girlfriend's new favourite). Food's tasty and reasonably priced.

Stopped off for some enticingly advertised ‘fresh’ fruit juice made straight from the fruit. I am well aware most food and beverage establishments don’t actually make their juice from fresh fruit so I made sure to ask the Latin waiter with no hair and a colourful hoodie if the juice was fresh before ordering. The waiter confirmed the juice was indeed fresh. Upon this crucial term of the offer being confirmed I decided to order a mango + pineapple and star fruit ‘fresh’ juices.As soon as one sip was taken from the supposedly ‘fresh’ juice it was clear to anyone with tastebuds that the juice was indeed not fresh and actually made from a frozen fruit mixture. The juices are quite frankly disgusting, very watery and extremely tasteless.Unfortunately, I was in a rush to drop my partner to the train station so I could not go back immediately. I admit the faults of my partner and I of drinking roughly half the juices while we waiting for her train. Once my partner was on her train I went back to the cafe to express my disappointment at being lied and mislead by the waiter that the crucial term of the offer was indeed not true. The waiter seemed to believe that bringing in the fruit fresh and then freezing the fruit makes the fruit indeed fresh and not frozen...strange. He seemed to struggle to comprehend the concept that as soon as fresh fruit is frozen it no longer is fresh and is in fact frozen. Regardless if the fruit was brought into the cafe fresh. At that point he got his manger.The manager also seemed to believe strongly that the fruit juice was indeed fresh as the fruit was brought into the store fresh, even when acknowledging the fact that the fresh fruit was frozen in store. The manager then proceeded to question my intelligence by stating that many cafes advertise their juice as fresh when it in fact it comes from a carton which they don’t do. I ensured her that when ordering fresh juice from any establishment a crucial term that I ensure is it that the juice is made fresh not from a carton or from frozen. Also, that there is no difference between their method of bringing in fresh fruit and then freezing it and buying a ready made frozen mix bag of fruit from any supermarket.This may all seem very trivial but when considering that one cup of the juice is £3.10. I actually was just duped, hoodwinked and led stray to spend £6.20 on frozen fruit juices. No refund was offered for the misleading terms of their offer. SHOCKING. Which in turn makes one wonder what other produce or food stuffs being sold within the establishment to customers as fresh are actually frozen. Side note, I would have no issue if I bought the juices for £6.20 if told when I originally asked that they were frozen, but I wasn’t I was misled. If you want fresh juices in Preston this is certainly not the place to go to, steer clear! Peace.

I’m a regular at Cafune now. The coffee is good, the food is both unique and lovely. The staff are very friendly and you don’t normally have to wait too long for the good to arrive. My favourite coffee shop/cafe since Dice & Donuts closed.

We came across Cafune whilst shopping in Preston. It was nice to have a choice of different food on offer. The food was so delicious we decided to have pancakes even though we didn't have any room!! We both had the Nutella cappuccino's, stew beef arepas' banoffee pancakes and strawberry & Nutella pancakes which were all excellent. We are planning a trip back to Preston just to try something different asap. We had a pram with us and the guy serving quickly set up a highchair at the table for us, service was friendly and efficient the cafe has a very homely feel. Whilst paying I spotted lots of delicious looking cakes I wish we lived closer we'd definitely be regulars.

I love Cafune. They are allergy aware and state on the menu where things are gluten free (never had an issue eating here and I go often now), the staff know what is in the food and can explain to you no problem. You always get a warm welcome and the food is delicious! Healthy, fresh and tastier than your average lunchtime sandwich. I often take out but the cafe is a nice size with upstairs seating and has the brilliant view of the flag market.

Met friends for coffee and cakes. Thought it would be nice to try an independent cafe for a change. At 10.45 am it was empty, despite being in a prime location. I wasn't impressed with the chipboard walls. The lady serving was not at all friendly and hardly spoke. The coffee was Ok although my child's babyccino had been forgotten so I had to ask again. The cake selection wasn't large (or cheap). I had the custard cake which was OK. We also shared what looked like a chocolate truffle, also OK. Nothing to draw me back.

Popped in today for a quick coffee and ended up with a delicious breakfast. Huevos Pericos Scrambled eggs, cooked with cheese, tomato and onion on a delicious muffin and a Brazilian cappuccino. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely go again and try something else from the menu.

I really like Cafe Cafune. The coffee is top notch, food excellent, but what I really like is that they offer something different. No empty, vacuous service here! The passion is palpable, a genuine excitement for what the folks at Cafune are trying to do in Preston. Well done.

Mocha x 21st attempt cold, sent back2nd attempt bit warmer but still not right, got to the bottom and the taste was truly awful with the lumps of whatever was used to make it,Wife took cups back and made them aware of it to be told “good and don’t come back”.I went it to ask why she was told not to come back and was met by a rather aggressive owner who asked me if I “wanted her finger in my face” - I explained that all we were doing was telling them that it was poor and all hell let’s loose, I get the bloke there telling me to “f*ck off a**hole” looking for a reaction and the waitress is bawling her eyes out because someone complained about the coffee” whilst along along the South American owner is acting like some Latino basil fawlty - you really couldn’t make this upCustom lost

Always my first choice of coffee shop when in the town centre. Refreshingly different, with such a relaxed atmosphere. Love the different types of coffees and smoothies they sell here, a personal favourite is the red velvet hot chocolate. The food is always freshly made and delicious, I LOVE the llapingachos, which is something I’d never tried before visiting cafune. The staff are always friendly & polite.

Excellent cafe, fantastic coffee and food served by friendly staff who will help you choose new things from the menu. The surroundings are rustic but nice and there is a great Latin American vibe. I'll be back next time I've a break in Preston

The waitress has a radiant personality which infuses the foody experience here. We stopped for the vegetarian breakfast which is excellent value and comes with a tea or goid strength coffee. The food was presented very well and tasted great. You just now your eating a healthy alternative to a fry up. We will certainly be using the ideas presented here for our future breakfasts like substituting baked beans for the much more healthy alternative black beans. The arepa was warm and a wonderful new food to try. Seating outside upstairs and inside. Clean toilet. Highly recommended.

I really love this place, I visited once just after it opened and got back to Preston recently so went back to see what it's like. Lovely place, great seating and atmosphere as well as welcoming staff that make the place feel relaxing to be in. To top it all off they've got great coffee and a nice selection of food. Fantastic place

Really excited to see this Brazilian coffee shop. Championing South America, its food, flavours and drinks, the cafe has a delicious array of cookies, cakes and pastries, as well ss a comprehensive hot and cold savoury menu for sandwiches and such. There are a small number of seats outside looking on the beautiful Market Square and the Harris Museum. Prices are very competitive and the food and coffee are delicious.
