Cute little place with great vegan options, fast service and accomodating staff

Lovely place to grab a bite to eat, really friendly and in one of the best places in Wales.

Food and service were good but please can you not use stone cold plates and bowls.

A wonderful stop for some delicious breakfast and lunch in Beddgelert. We got the Welsh breakfast and the tuna melt (pictured), both of which were delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and service was great. Highly recommend!

Three us visited this quaint cafe for a quick bite and drinks. We placed our order with a young man and it arrived very quickly. The drinks were refreshing and the snacks we ate were tasty. Would love to return here some time!

we so enjoyed our visit today,well presented cafe/gift shop.good menu,gluten free and vegan options,i had the haddock fish cake with chilli sauce and coleslaw.all home made,hubby had scone,cream and jam,so yummy,i had a coffee latte,so nice and hubby had cuppa tea,cafe very clean,staff friendly and informative,yes a lovely lunch,not too expensive,yes very good,oo and lovely music[motown,,thank you,jean and richard from kent

This was by far the best place to eat on our Welsh stay. The atmosphere was chilled out with great ambience, the staff were so friendly and the lunch was spot on and reasonably priced. I treated myself to a pumpkin latte afterwards and that too was so delicious.

9.15am coffee shop still not open. Worth updating your opening hours on google

Went there in August! Rainy morning, full motorbike gear and passed the breakfast time. The staff was nice and friendly. They kindly put together two breakfast for take away -as we didn’t want to get everything wet- and sent us our way with hot drinks to warm up! Thank you 🥰🥰 They have a little artisan shop with great stuff!

A yummy decaf cappuccino with oat milk and a flapjack. This is a lovely place I’ve been to twice now. Friendly staff and a nice place to sit and relax.

Great staff Great food, it's become a tradition to have the afternoon tea here with scones jam clotted cream and a decent piece of bara brith every time I'm in Beddgelert.

When we saw this place after lunch somewhere else, we sincerely regret not having lunch there. It looked very inviting, and they had authentic meals, not just fast food. But he had here a perfect espresso and discovered the menu for dogs. Nice places outside.

Really lovely location!! Staff and service was excellent. Good sizes good and excellent quality. Highly recommend to visitors. You wail not be disappointed and priced reasonably

This cafe was pleasant and the people serving were nice. We both had a breakfast each and they were quite tasty. The coffee was a bit of a let down and was very bitter and the cappuccino was more a white americano…other than that the place is pleasant enough, if not a bit cold temperature wise. I don’t think we would visit this cafe again, as we’ve been to some other really lovely foodie places in North Wales. They do have a gift shop that sells some lovely little bits and bobs.

Food was okay nothing outstanding quite pricey. Dog friendly which was a bonus. My chicken burger was dry and had no sauce on it. Hot chocolates were amazing

Had the most amazing scone here with clotted cream!!

Really lovely courtyard to eat in, there were 2 types of diary free and 3 types of gluten free cakes to try. Picture is the gluten free carrott cake, gluten free brownie and iced coffee. Dog friendly with a small dog menu of sausages and ice cream. Good half way stop on walk from Nantmor.

We hadden ontbijt. Ontvangst en bediening waren vriendelijk. Kwaliteit van het eten was prima. Parkeren kan alleen niet voor de deur.

Nice spot next to the river in Beddgelert with outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. I had the Welsh Cream Tea set and it was perfect, tea and scones with some bara brith. It was my first time trying the latter and I would recommend it!

We stopped in Beddgelert for a quick snack and we found this cafe for an afternoon tea and scone. The scone was fresh, warm and perfectly crumbly.

Went to their outdoor cafe for lunch. Very disappointing. Staff were rude and not interested in customers and looked like they haven't received any training. Food is basic and expensive for what it is. Bread is soggy. No side salad with the sandwiches.

Lovely little coffee place and nice service. The coffee wasn’t too good though….I did ask for the milk in the latte to not be made too hot! Instead I got a hot latte with a jug of cold water to cool it down!!

This is a fantastic cafe with friendly staff, great service and delicious food and coffee. We stopped here for breakfast on one day and it was so good that we stopped for lunch the next! It was a relaxing spot to enjoy some food in the sunshine and watch the world go by. We had a full Welsh breakfast (the bacon in particular was so thick and tasty) and it kept us going all day until our evening meal. We had a light lunch and enjoyed this very much too. Thank you to the team at Caffi Colwyn and we look forward to visiting again next time we're in Beddgelert!

Lovely cafe, great breakfast and even better staff!

Slightly difficult to get anyone's attention but once we had managed to order the food was lovely and the coffee was good. I know it is hard to get or afford waiting staff at the moment but we nearly left due to lack of attention - I'm glad we didn't and I hope they sort that aspect out.

What a fabulous eatery! 👍🏼The food and coffee was delicious, well presented and the service speedy. Portion sizes were very generous too & great value for money which is such a rarity these days. The staff were friendly & attentive and the riverside location really topped it off. Thank you so much for a lovely meal ladies 😊

Lovely little cafe. No space inside but luckily they have an outside tea garden which serves the same drinks and cakes. Cakes were fantastic - just what was needed after a day in the hill.

There was nobody in sight to take our order and we waited for some considerable time, before an off-hand employee deigned to put in an appearance. Tea was weak and watery and everything was very uninspiring. This place doubles as a gift shop which sells the usual tat. Ok for a quick pit stop but nothing else.

Enjoyed our lunch very much. Really nice falafel, with pitta and hummus. And i also tried the Welsh Bara Brith, a very tasty fruit loaf. Flat white coffee was deemed excellent and my tea came with a pot of water which I always appreciate.

Happened across this lovely little place on our way back to Betws y coed! What a great place. Really pretty village - one of the prettiest we found in Snowdonia National Park. Lovely staff, food served quickly and looked and tasted so good!! Great coffee too. Chatted with the owner who was so friendly and clearly committed to this business. So glad we found it and would highly recommend it. Some great gifts or souvenirs to take home too!

Me and my partner had breakfast at this cafe this morning and we couldn’t find a single fault! The breakfast was so lovely good value for money, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff were very polite and professional. A business to truly be proud of. I loved their corner of small business sales!

They make a great bacon and egg bap.

Service with a smile, can get busy here so you might have a wait, food is good , busy even just after Xmas , I'd recommend

Cute little Cafe in this beautiful town. Had some hot chocolate and a coffee cake and it was delicious. There were some goodies such as candles, magnets and jewellery to buy to take back something from this village. There was free Wi-Fi in the cafe which was very helpful considering that there was no phone service while in the village.

Was looking for somewhere to eat while visiting the village, and the reviews sold it to me. Was nearly very disappointed when we saw the sign saying the café was closed due to shortage of staff, but then saw that the outdoor café garden was open so went round the back via the river. So glad we did, the reviews did not lie. We each tried the Welsh Cream Tea, and the scones were amazing. Some of the best scones we have ever had. Firm on the outside, soft on the inside, warm, and so tasty. Everyone loved them. They cater for dogs too, with dog biscuits. It was busy when we went (mid-morning during a day in the Summer holiday) but we were lucky to find a table before it became very busy (train seems to bring lots of people). Service was friendly too. A bit pricey, but as a treat on the holiday we were all very happy! Would definitely visit again if passing, and hopefully try out the full café menu.

Lovely little cafe. Very accommodating getting us some extra chairs as we were a slightly larger party, and the service and food was perfect. Well worth stopping by!

We stopped here for lunch whilst on a visit to the area. The service we received was so so good, from the point of ordering to the point the food was delivered was perfect. I had the fish finger sandwich which came with salad and fries, absolutely delicious. The lovely lady who I think part owned the cafe gave me a lovely piece of lemon drizzle cake which was absolutely beautiful. We shall certainly be visiting again. Well done to all.....

Good location in the village near the centre. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our latte was flavoursome and hot and our scones were light in texture, tasty and fresh. On a nice day there's outdoor eating too.

What a little gem this lovely cafe in Beddgelert is. Came across this place as the first one you pass on the way in was closed, how glad we were or we would never have found this place. Only stopped for a snack and coffee....

We stopped for a tea and cake as a break on a long walk and were very impressed by the welcoming and friendly service and amazing cakes. We’ve replanned our next walk to include lunch at the cafe as the food is so good!

Lovely little cafe which we visited while waiting for our return train journey. Very tasty food (especially the flapjacks) and quick service and friendly, courteous staff.

Good quality comfort food, very standard items, cosy inside, courtyard with river view outside. Pleasant staff. Gets overloaded by WHR trains arriving at about 11.35 for a one hour stopover on some days, depositing dozens of scary old ladies in search of scones.

I have been here twice, once for tea and once for breakfast and it is really good. Tea: strong tea available with extra jug of hot water and whole milk for those that want it - it is unbelievable how few places can serve hot strong tea! Great scone too. And the breakfast was excellent - up there with the Alpine Cafe in Betws y Coed. Friendly staff and good service.

Surprisingly large cafe, with a large menu of cakes, sandwiches and hot meals. Only cafe open in the autumn. Hot chocolate was good with all the toppings and so was the apple pie. But the custard tasted like powdered and the hot chocolate similarly powdery.

Popped in today after a walk over the hill. Friendly inviting staff quickly prepared a table as a group left and were ready for us in a very short time, despite it being busy as we arrived. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. I had a mocaccino, which was delicious. After lunch we had a selection of cakes. I cannot recommend the toffee apple flapjack enough: it is absolutely fabulous! Overall a great cafe that has survived tough times and deserves support. Well worth a visit.

Slightly Overpriced but none the less pretty decent little cafe. £5.50 for a small albeit tasty bowl of leek and potato soup, don’t want to mark the place harshly because I think it’s typical prices for the area.

AMAZING food, friendly staff and warm ambience! Ordered the soup of the day which was a leek & potato soup and had the sausage & egg roll as my main - both tasted very lovely! Portions are just nice.
