Caffe Nero in Belfast

Llamado hoy con un amigo para el café. Le dije a un miembro del personal muy hostil que estaba pidiendo dos cafés de capuchino, pero primero tenía que ir al baño y pedí el código. Ella lo rechazó. Dijo que primero tenía que pagar el café. Señalé que realmente necesitaba irme y definitivamente estaba comprando dos cafés cuando salí. Sin rodeos se negó. Dijo que era política de la empresa. Part of a chain, visit one and that's it. Pleasant enough. Staff friendly and helpful. Good coffee and convenient location.

Great and quality coffee, good ambience for hangouts or some peace and quiet to have "me time". Cafe serves an assortment of cakes and sweets. Order "The Milano", rich hot chocolate that will surely take you to a happy place.

The staff here were so friendly and make an excellent coffee. Very handy for Queens and the train station. Toilets are much nicer now there's a code

Had the roasted veg toasted sambo, it was deeeeeeeelicious. Staff were lovely. Definitely worth a visit.

Buena experiencia estándar de Caffe Nero, franquicia habitual. Cafés habituales, traybakes, etc. nada extraordinario pero está bien. La única cosa es que es, de lejos, la más sucia de las de Caffe Nero que he visitado. ¡Por favor, limpien las mesas chicos! No volveré ya que era desagradable, mesas pegajosas, basura en ellos, etc. Y el personal no estaba tan ocupado para no limpiar cuando entré de todos modos. . .

Llamé con mi marido y mi suegra, el café era excelente y el personal es muy amable. Nos atendió una chica encantadora llamada Hannah, ¡ella fue muy cortés y servicial y un gran sentido del humor! Definitivamente volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Belfast.

My friend and I often go here for a coffee. The coffee is great, the seating is very comfortable, and the atmosphere is relaxed and unrushed. My compliments to the Manageress and the staff for maintaining this high standard.

El café es genial, pero un abogado me pregunta si quiero mi leche en el café y no en el lateral. Parece un poco extraño porque cada otro abogado lo sirve de costado cuando pides leche. Me hace sentir que tengo que pedir algo que no es necesario.

Loved this little cafe type setting! The staff was friendly and the clientele fun! Great hot chocolate, coffee and tea with wonderful sides...especially the shortbread!

My daughter is allergic to nuts and I am delighted re Nero's helpful reaction to her choice of lunch there today: she chose a meal but did not read the full description of the ingredients and it was only when she bought it that she realised that it had pesto (a no-no for nut allergy people). She explained to the staff and ordered something else and the staff were very helpful, giving her advice re what would be safe. My daughter assumed she would pay for both items, as she herself had not read the ingredients, but the staff charged her for just one item and were very polite and helpful. I am glad that Caffe Nero is taking this dangerous allergy very seriously.

Stopped for a nice hot drink while on a night out in Belfast. The staff in this branch of Nero are very helpful. The hot chocolate was beautiful. My only issues is the cleanliness of the toilets, they could be a whole lot cleaner.

The cakes and cheesecakes are very tasty, and this location is very handy to stop for a snack before you catch your train.

The coffee shop is convenient situated near the railway station and has comfortable seating and is bright and pleasant. The staff are friendly and there is a good range of coffee and snacks.

Travelling on the Train with my friend we decided to break our journey & stopped off on at Botanic Station as we knew there was a Caffe Nero shop there.Our Barista, Rebekah served us extremely well & with a lovely smile. Yes our order was quite simple but it was so refreshing to be so well treated & to be served with delicious Americanos. I think I will be making some further stops & Caffe Nero Botanic.

I was waiting in line behind a group of deaf people with a translator. I was happy to be patient knowing that the baristas may need some extra time with these customers. Then, as soon as their backs were turned one barista turned to the other and rolled her eyes and laughed while the other smiled back in a knowing way. This was all done right in front of another customer. I felt sick and tempted to leave. It was absolutely disgraceful. One could understand why it may have been more difficult to serve these people but they were clearly trying their best to communicate to the baristas. They cannot help whether they can speak or not and I'm sure they wish they could. The behaviour of the workers has put me off ever returning.

For me, 'Nero' has the edge over other chains such as Starbucks. The decor seems to have a more inviting feel to it, and I had visited when it was less busy and I was able to sit undisturbed to read my newspaper. I found the Americano was of good quality, I would return. The staff are ok, a few behind the counter having a private chat with their backs turned when I arrived didn't give a fantastic impression. Then my server was yawning as she served me although she was friendly enough. As I was leaving I noticed for the second time that customers arrived and there was no staff behind the counter. The customers had to hover then alert staff they were there. It's a bit of a shame; good customer service is such a crucial aspect of the service industry and it is part of what the customer is paying for.

Caffè neanche caldo, non so come facciano a venderlo come italiano. Prezzi veramente eccessivi. Non consigliato ai veri amanti del caffè.

A friend recommended Caffe Nero for its excellent Italian coffee. Boy, was she right! I also enjoyed the relaxed ambience. I spent about 2 hours reading at this location. Such a nice break from a stressful week!

I have visited Neros on Botanic Avenue quite a few times, most recently last Saturday, & every time I call in there is never any staff standing behind the counter - they are always in the staff room off to the right! This visit I waited over five minutes for someone to appear from the staff room. Even though a queue had built up only one member of staff came out to serve us all despite there being other staff members around. The coffee is still good & the food just as any other Neros. The seating area is large enough & never feels overcrowded.My only problem is the serving issue & seriously suggest a bell being fitted to the counter so that a potential customer can alert staff residing in the staff room that there are people out front that need serving!
