Absolutely delicious breakfast while working locally. Had a Bacon sandwich the first few visits, then went all in for one of their full English Breakfasts, everything cooked to perfection in my opinion, and it was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend.

I discovered this cafe last summer and hsve been coming back ever since. My only complaint is they are soooo quick serving my fried breakfast I don't get time to sip my coffee and smoke a cigarette. But it's a quibble I can live with.

Use to be such a good place but now really down hill my panini had about 2 pieces of corn inside it was shocking, the Mayo was vile and bread tasted stale. such a shame

Pop in for lunch . Order at the counter. Staff bring your order to your table. Staff are officiant . Always wiping down the tables. Accept cas or card payments

great breakfast to go for, its nice quick easy and very good value for the money, friendly staff and an easy menu to look at but it can be quite overwhelming at first by the size and amount they have to offer but overall a very consistent and comfort type of food, they also offer kebabs and tons of drink options for your meal. the breakfast meals they have is unbeatable in the area for the value and quality, I love going to this place and the owner is very friendly and really does take his time to get to know his customers, only downside might be will have to be parking depending on the time and the day that you will have breakfast here , however, there are huge parking spaces at the back when the front of the Broadway is packed .

Just visited cafelicious for the first time...100% perfect from the minute you walk in you are welcomed, and once order is in it food arrives 100% perfect... Will go again

Awful eggs weren’t cooked adequately and coffee tasted like warm hot milk very bland staff weren’t very friendly didn’t like negative comments and didn’t know you had to order at front sat there waiting ages for a drink ordered poached and mushrooms and plate was swimming in grease no real presentation very poor will not be returning!

Nice place, with friendly staff. Typical café fare, sandwiches, omelettes, breakfast... food is good, prices are very reasonable. Good place for kids. A firm favourite for our family.

Always a buzzing atmosphere in here. The staff clearly work very hard to provide a great service here, and they are always friendly and smiling. Great food, coffee and well laid out.

The food was delicious and came out quickly, but the staff aren't particularly friendly. Twice, staff snatched condiments away from our table without asking if we were finished. There was barely any communication, it was all very abrupt. Generally not a nice atmosphere, a smile would go a long way as all the staff looked miserable. EDIT: It's great to see the feedback has been taken on board, and the food is delicious so we will definitely be back!

Cafelicious is a very lovely cafe in Debden! I always enjoy going to with lovely and affordable prices. The waiters and chef is very friendly. I would recommend this cafe.

I got a ham and cheese omelete and when i recieved the meal, The food was raw inside, When they gave me a new one it looked like they just took it off my plate and re cooked it, They gave me way to much chips when it all went to waste at the end.

Made a brief visit to Debden and we had a coffee mid afternoon here. Nice staff and very reasonable price for the coffee. Cafe not Coffee Bar so opens early and closes 4pm daily but good service and value.

First time in this Cafe loved the Milk Shake

This place has become my go to cafe. Food never disappoints, tasty omelettes and great English breakfasts. Friendly staff and lovely coffee. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely the best cafe in the area.

It’s ok staff can be a bit hot headed but other than that it’s a ok place food big portions eggs are sometimes hard or slimey

This cafe produces amazing food, freshly cooked, no grease, clean enviroment and friendly staff. Inside or outside seating Visited on several occasions, reccomended by google this cafe has a 5☆ food hygiene rating which is what all customers want to see when eating out.

Quality find. We were outside contemplating how to avoid the sun. Waitress helped us inside. Spacious. Exceedingly clean. Quite loud music. Lots of staff working very hard to make cafe relaxed. Wasn’t sure of an ingredient. Let us try it. Was so tasty we both ended up having the same. Lunch became dinner. Portions here are generous. Massive square plates. Sad I couldn’t fit in pudding. Will definitely return.

It's a very good 'greasy spoon' without the grease. Does excellent breakfasts and there's quite a variety. Avoid the big breakfast plate unless you're volunteering for a coronary.

Very friendly staff, big menu with lots of choices and amazing portion sizes! I've eaten and met friends for coffee here hundreds of times. Always great with the kids and make a great coffee.

Stopped here for a bite to eat. The menu is plentiful and has enough choice for veggies. I chose the veggie no.1 option and was pleased as punch when it arrived. I had fried egg, mushrooms, beans, fried tomato, bubble and 2 toast all washed down with a cup of tea. The food arrived very swiftly and was very tasty, compliments to the chef. The staff was very helpful the place seemed to have it's regular customers. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be stopping for something to eat. Give it a try and support your local shops.

Nice food and it arrived fast. Service was good but waitress could be a little more friendly. My cutlery arrived wrapped in a tissue with bean sauce on it. They should also take orders at the table rather than at the till.

Went here for the first time in ages as never thought it was that great but decided to give it another go while it was offering the Eat Out to Help Out promotion and I remember their milkshakes being very good. All I can say is thank God it was half price as the food was awful. The cod was overcooked and clearly just from a frozen food packet, the Turkish mixed grill was rubbish and dearer than the much nicer restaurant just down the road, the panini was pathetic, the onion rings tasted like they were probably just Sainsbury's Basics and the less said about the veggie burger the better. Also was way overpriced. If we had paid the full £9 for the mixed grill and full £7 for the cod I think we'd have asked for a refund. And £2.20 for 9 Sainsbury's Basics onion rings is a rip off. The only plus was that the coffee was cheap and good and the milkshakes were still delicious. All I can really say is that we went with rather low expectations and still left severly disappointed. Would give it a 1 rating but the milkshakes upped it to 2.

Very pleasant place to visit. Only two bad things is no mention anywhere they took cards until I went to pay (had cash in case). Other thing radio a touch to loud. Food was great and enjoyed it. Felt safe with the distancing.

Some of us are struggling to get food into our houses as we are self-isolating and the supermarkets have no delivery slots available! So spoke today to my favourite cafe, Cafelicious which is in Debden. They are prepared to do a makeshift contact free takeaway service. If you call them they will make the food and are happy to give it to you outside at the back of the store meaning you would be able to get food from them without risk to you or them. Contactless payments available and remember you do not have to tap the credit card. They have a big menu but not seen it online. I like eat here on a Saturday morning as I work during the week, I find the owner very friendly and welcoming the whole staff very friendly, I love the liver and bacon they even make the gravy the way I like it (thick) nothing seems to be problem for them, if you want a dish cooked in a certain way just explain to them and yes they do listen and they will cook it for you. The whole place is spotless clean good food for the price, with a good friendly atmosphere.

Nice enough place for an enjoyable cooked breakfast. Coffee is very good. They should serve better quality sausages though. If you prefer your coffee black, make that clear, otherwise they will assume you want it white.

A great welcome, as if they really meant it. The jacket potatoes were done to perfection and with a huge range of fillings. The tables were clean and tidy and the floor well swept and not overly expensive either.

Received food and Owner announced they will be closing in 5 to 10 minutes and I’ve got a hospitality and catering doctorate and I’m ashamed of his behaviour by catering protection rights they shouldn’t of Done this I should’ve made us aware before buying I’m ashamed for his behaviour and will be taking this up with an environmental health officer 😢😭😢😭😢😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😭

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I do gf and they were well up to speed with what I could and couldn't have on their menu. I'll return for the good service too.

I do not get down here enough, it is my local café and I manage to get down there a couple times a month. It is without a doubt fantastic, hands down the best café on Debden and Loughton high roads, well priced, quick service and delicious food. I have only ever had their variety of fry-ups and have never been disappointed. Well worth a small detour if feeling peckish and in the area!

The cafe was lovely, staff were really nice and friendly when being taking our orders and we were greeted with a smile. The cafe was Clean and presented well. The food was amazing freshly prepared and cooked to order and didn't have to wait long for the food to be brought out.

Always a great service. I used to pop in for tea most mornings after the school drop off but unfortunately stopped. I have enjoyed many breakfasts and lunches with my children over the years for a treat. A great place to get a breakfast after feeling a little delicate from a night out. Always feel better after hanging and saves me making breakfast for everyone 😉 Staff are really friendly and it is always clean
