The food was absolutely amazing especially the lasagne and the homemade burger 🍔 the lady who was on her own done a wonderful job , she went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect

Just stopped by to try the Pina Colada recommended by a friend. Didn't try the food, but the cocktails were nice. Staff were friendly, and the service was good.

Zandras – Where Every Bite is an Adventure! I recently embarked on a culinary escapade at Zandras, and let me tell you, it’s a taste bud rollercoaster worth taking! The lamb shank was so tender it practically did the lamb-shimmy off the bone. The pizza, a masterpiece that could make Italy blush. Tiger prawns that were so big, they probably had their own post code. Now, let’s talk meatballs – these little wonders were like flavor bombs exploding in my mouth, leaving me questioning every other meatball I’ve ever encountered. And the pasta rigatoni? It’s like they found the pasta unicorn, because I didn’t know pasta could taste this magical. In conclusion, Zandras is not just a restaurant; it’s a gastronomic theme park. Prepare for a flavor carnival that will have your taste buds doing the cha-cha. Highly recommend for anyone that’s local in Luton and the food was halal :)

We were stuck in Luton because our flight was cancelled(4 people). Amazing food (I mean BEST FOOD EVER), nice environment, kind staff! Would come back here.

Cozy and nice place for dinner. Very good selection of main dishes on top of usual Italian cuisine. Service was quick and professional (waiter Robert is nothing more than icing on the cake in this restaurant) . Clean all around and comfortable. Pricing is reasonable for such a restaurant.

Visiting from Ireland, we payed a vist to this restaurant for dinner 2 nights in a row and what can say but outstanding from food to staff if it could be fault we couldn't fault it...pizza pasta and sharing platter absolutely outstanding and divine also have to comment on the milkshakes 😍 if we ever return to Luton we will certainly be back, top class food service and we certainly recommend to anyone...big shout to the blonde haired waitress who's name we didn't get her attentiveness and personality and service was outstanding and made us feel very welcome 😁😁

Food was nice but blonde lady serving us made my wife feel really uncomfortable, was overly friendly with me and barely acknowledged my wife. Had a bad experience here a few years ago but thought I’d try it again, nice inside but don’t think I’d visit again after how my wife was treated by her. As much as I’d like to take you up on your offer I couldn’t get my wife to go a third time after how she was treated the last time. I’d like to pretend I enjoyed it but in front of the wife it was a little embarrassing 🤣! From what I remember you only had one blonde lady working there, she had a foreign accent if that helps.

I've eaten here many times. Quite a lot of room inside and some outside seating is also available. Staff are friendly and attentive. Some menu items are more reasonably priced than others. Very clean, more upmarket interior and finishing than you'd expect from a place calling itself a cafe. I've eaten here at all different times, and sometimes it's quiet whilst at other times it's very busy. The alcohol is on the moderate to expensive side. I feel that entices a decent clientèle and not your average Wetherspoons all day drinkers (no offence). Takeaway lunches and teas/coffees seem popular with the Luton Borough Council workers and local NHS staff.

I had a special with a brioche bun. The bun collapsed in seconds under the weight of the double burger. I'm afraid I don't really go for food like that but wanted something different. I could have got the same at Burger King, but for less. Not the best, I'm afraid. I will stick with the pizza for future reference.

I sadly wasn't impressed, waited for ages for a table , they were not ready for us. That's ok but offer us a menu to look at or direct us to the bar for drinks. Unfortunately none of the above, the music was blaring which I understand as it was a Saturday night, Luton were at home and you want to keep the party atmosphere but at 6.40 in the evening. We shouted our drinks in but no vodka they had run out. We ordered drinks and drank them before our table was ready. When we were seated , we waited roughly 25 mins for the menu due to the guy serving us eating his own chicken wings . behind the bar we asked two young girls for menus we received nothing. The man that owns Zandras came up and said Alright girls, have you ordered yet.we said we're waiting on a menu oh right I will get them for you.he then said would you like drinks we have vodka now. So we ordered them and we paid for them. Food was ok plain but the staff kindly didn't return with our change they took it as a tip. We won't be returning and maybe others should avoid on a football weekend.i complained about the service and the owner smiled and said well they only started tonight, unfortunately I found that hard to believe.sorry

Best Italian food I have had in Bedfordshire. Very clean in all areas (spotless kitchen too) and a fresh vibe place to dine.Beers and cocktails spot on. Had a great night. Will definitely be returning as a regular and ordering for delivery the pizza too which is great (think fresh like Pappa John's but with flavour.) Staff very friendly and hospitable and makes you feel welcome. THIS PLACE WILL NOT DISAPOINT! Good for group of friends or date night. Highly recommended.

Food absolutely stunning and delicious, all handmade. The owner was the nicest guy going and the decor is out of this world. Totally recommend this place great value for money and a nice addition to Luton. Can't rate it any higher then outstanding. Will definitely come again.

Looking for a place that does an English Breakfast is hard to find in "cosmopolitan" Luton but, thankfully, one exists and is just behind the Town Hall. I came here because it advertised traditional cooked breakfasts done in English/Italian/Veggie styles. I'd come at about 10.30 am but the café was empty with one customer wanting a takeaway drink and me.. Thankfully, the breakfast menu was still available (up to midday) so I chose the English version - bacon, sausage, hash brown, beans, fried egg (which was scrambled on request), mushrooms, toast - for £5.95 !!! (tea was extra - medium cup for £1.40). Great price but was it worth it? Absolutely !!. You can only do a good breakfast if you can get all the advertised ingredients cooked, hot and on the plate in front of the customer in time before they end reading the sports pages in the Mirror. And that happened here. My worries about a lack of customers were explained by the fact that the regular office clientele of the surrounding area was on holiday and that I was having breakfast a lot later than those industrious folk that keep Luton's council services running like clockwork. Still it was nice to be able to give the ladies at the counter and through the kitchen hatch a "thumbs up" for top quality food and service.

Food was ok, found a fly in my drink ( this was 1 min after they brought the cup out and I was inside) so the fly had come with the cup. Instead of showing even the slightest bit of sorry the waitress was very passive aggressive. Customer service is a zero! They have me no beans or cheese just tuna. Even tho I ordered cheese,beans and tuna.

We've visited Zandra's on a number of occasions and have been made to feel really welcome. The food and drink is first class,the atmosphere in the recently re-furbished cafe is great ,and we'd highly recommend a visit.

My friend and I visited, I ordered a Zandra Burger and my friend a pizza. The food was fantastic. The chips were crispy and the burger was well made accompanied by a spicy mayonnaise. I will definitely be back for more!

If you look after the best Sunday roast, probably this is a place, very warm and friendly atmosphere in the heart of Luton town. Just a remarkable place to dine with the family.

Had a sunday roast at Zandra's Cafe this afternoon, one of the best I've had in a long time and just the right portion size. Would also highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. The owner has designed and refurbished the place really well, love the art-style and atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more soon.

We’re a family of 6 and we’re visiting close to Zandra’s this afternoon. The kids were starving so decided to check it out. I’m glad we did! We had a couple of pizzas and chicken and beef burgers, with fries garlic bread and coleslaw. I have to say the food was lovely and fresh, everything was freshly cooked and the Latte was spot on! The manager was very welcoming and pleasant, the cafe is cool, quirky, and a pretty smart place to hang out and eat. Only been open a couple of weeks, if I was local it would definitely be on my list! All the best guys!

Love this place. Great food, coffee and staff. The new refurbishment is great. However, please do make the toilet a little more easy to use.... A shelf for the soap, coat hook, spare toilet rolls. I am sure in time the little details will get fixed.

Came in here today and it has tripled in size. Great place for lunch - they now have an all you can eat pizza and salad option. I hear too that they will be opening in the evenings for pizza and pasta. Great coffee and good prices.

I visited twice today. I came in for a coffee in the morning and learned that they do good food, too. The owner was polite and recommended his place for lunch, so I did. It was amazing! The food, you could tell was freshly cooked, hot and tasted delicious. I will definitely come back here, if I'm in the area.

Have only tried the food using Deliveroo but it is truly excellent and will be trying it regularly. The really impressive thing is the service I received from Cafe Zandras when Deliveroo screwed up and reassigned my rider and left me waiting two hours. Trying to contact Deliveroo was hopeless, so I contacted Cafe Zandras directly. The service I received was outstanding. They contacted Deliveroo on my behalf and took my number and phoned me back within five minutes keeping me informed of the situation. They even re-prepared my order because of the long delay and supplied me with a reference number I could use when complaining to Deliveroo. It was all sorted out within a short time. This is above and beyond the normal call of duty as they could have just claimed ignorance, having I assume received payment from Deliveroo. This level of service is so rare these days, so they deserve this shout out. Peter Archer.

I recently placed an order here through Deliveroo and when this didn’t turn up I phoned Cafe Zandras because the numbers provided in the Delveroo App didn’t answer. They got in touch with Deliveroo on my behalf, took my number and kept me informed very quickly and re-prepared the meal because The original had been prepared some time ago, and even gave me a reference number to use when I later complained to Deliveroo. This is outstanding customer service and well above and beyond the call of duty, and is so rarely encountered these days that the people at Cafe Zandras in Luton, deserve this shout out. Oh by the way the food was delicious also, so all credit to the people at Cafe Zandras.Peter Archer.

Try to not order via JustEat, but contact the Cafe directly to not be disappointing as it happened where driver never arrived or arriving late.

I'm a fairly regular visitor for lunch as I work down the road, also pop in before footall with the kids and the food never disappoints and the coffee is good, love the Crispy Chicken wrap. Decided recently to head in for breakfast a couple of times and if you are on the run get a breakfast bagel, cracking!A newish gem in Luton town centre.

Had a really bad experience .... Have ordered food throught Just eat . The money been hoovered out straight for the order ....after 45 minutes waiting there was still no confirmation from the restaurant of my order ...... i have ringed the restaurant but no answer ..... have called just eat and after waiting 29 minutes for someone to take my call i have been told the order is cancelled....... along waiting 45 minutes + 29 minutes on the phone the order was canceled and did not get an answer whos fault it was .....

We decided to go for a breakfast today(Sunday) to your cafe after I saw amazing reviews and its very difficult to find good place in Luton. We arrived around 10.45am when the girl working there informed us that brekky will be ready in 10 mins so we ordered at least coffees (she did not offered anything to us). We left your cafe around 11.15 am (going to work) very very dissapointed and starving because noone offered us any brekky even we were waiting. The girl never appologised and I think you should never put opening hours at 10am if u dont offer any food at all.

Fabulous latte, and a must for those who love milkshakes (try the Nuttella milkshake if you are a chocoholic). Friendly staff...and well worth the short walk from the town to visit. Outside seating is available. Savoury rice with crispy fish, chilli sauce, mayonnaise, and salad. Very filling. I will be back.
