We went for a late lunch Saturday. Great reception, very friendly. Place was clean and bright, much bigger inside than our approach suggested. Food was great, hot and very tasty with an impressive variety, to cater for everyone. Great value for money. It was our first visit but we'll be going back.

Great food @ a great price - I like my food to be hot & it's definitely hot when you receive it, lattes are lovely & hot too. Definitely recommend the Shepherds Pie - Liver - Breakfasts & Jacket Potatos - Best place I've been to in a long time. 5* and I'm fussy with food ☺ If you can't eat it all, they put the rest in a dish for you to take home.

This cafe was recommended to us and is a great find. We love going out for breakfast or brunch and this did not disappoint. The amount of customers denoted its popularity. Coffee was lovely - hot and in a mug. How I like it. I chose a feta, bacon and spinach omelette which was absolutely delicious. My husband went for the full English, equally satisfying. We will definitely return.

Visited for 1st time today for breakfast, perfectly cooked & presented full english, lovely coffee, nice surroundings, and very clean modern kitchen, very profesional in every aspect, and reasonable prices. Can recomend this café as excellent.

Despite showing up as dog friendly this is NOT the case. Dogs are NOT welcome at all inside the cafe, despite being extremely well behaved and in a dog carrier. Therefore we didn't give them any business.

Had a good coffee in here and a bacon sandwich. Was clean and tidy. Note that cash only under £10. Update Jun 22. Breakfast was OK, few flys buzzing around..got charged for a cappuccino, when American came with breakfast. Should just be charged the difference. Food was average, bubble and squeek a little burnt.

A friend and I came here to escape the cold easterly wind and have lunch. We soon warmed up, it was nice inside, and bright, with pleasant photo pictures on the walls. Friendly welcome from young female staff. Varied clientele, workers in high vis, pensioners and younger couples. Good to see it was steadily occupied by diners over the 60 mins we were there, a popular place. I had home made lasagne with a very clean and fresh looking salad, which all tasted great. My friend had prawn and avocado baguette. I tasted hers too and it was delicious. Prices good at approx £4 for the baguette, £7.90 for lasagne, and tea and soft drink at approx £1.50 each, really competitive and good value. The best cafe I have visited in Eastburne. A smile and patience and helpful attitude goes a long way, plus a good chef!

Very happy with this little cafe, we tend to go to breakfast most Sunday’s. the staff are extremely lovely specially the young girl who does most of the waitressing. Food is really nice & they don’t scrimp, come out feeling stuffed and ready for a good day! Owner is really friendly, he saw I was using a battery pack to charge my phone and welcomed me to use the plug at the front, small gestures go a long way, customer service on point. Will continue to return as pretty chuffed with the cafe.

Yet again I have nothing but high praise for this place. Although busy and buzzing we got served within five minutes. The food was, as usual, bloody great, especially my drink(see photo).

Served quickly and with kindness. Large menu with lots of food and drink to choose from, plus plenty of seating. Toilets are also available here. Food was absolutely delicious and i really enjoyed the hot chocolate! 😋 Will be returning here when I next get the chance.

Hugely disappointed. This is the second poor experience I have had here ear despite having frequented it quite often in the past. Today I asked for a takeaway sausage and egg baguette with an extra sausage and brown sauce. It came with no extra sausage, no brown sauce, and the egg was so overcooked they may as well have been no yolk in it. It's not like they were busy so I can only assume they couldn't be bothered. I won't be going back.

Great selection of meals offered here. We went for breakfast with family members who visit often and recommend it. The prices are reasonable, we had the English breakfast with added items on the menu, if you wish to swap an item on the list for something else they are happy to. Really nice staff with good service, we will defently return.

Came in for a birthday breakfast and they were happy to sit a large group, safely. Great hygiene and cleanliness, would totally recommend!

First time in this part of eastbourne/willingdon but decided to have their full english breakfast, with a capachino coffee, I must firstly point out that you will wait for your food, this is not a criticism as when the food arrives you know it’s been freshly cooked and certainly worth the wait. The capachino was a nice size and well presented bearing in mind this is a cafe not a restaurant. I certainly would not cross it off my list to revisit in the future and the serving staff all wore masks and very pleasant.

We are regular visitors to the café and look forward to sitting in again once lockdown ends, in the meantime we have been using the café weekly for take away food. We have enjoyed some lovely sausage baguettes, omelets and a few cheeseburgers and cheesy chips, Highly recommend this café. Staff friendly and welcoming and food is always great.

We have started going weekly usually on a Tuesday for lunch. Very friendly staff but more importantly the food is really good - cooked to perfection and if you wish to pick and match that to is no problem. It is quite simply the best of its type anywhere in the area.

Amazing. Great food and really helpful and accommodating with the order - I'm Coeliac so I'm not easy! The toilet was clean and also had a decent baby changing unit. Reasonably priced and outdoor space too. Many thumbs up.

Portion sizes good but took 15 mins for our order to be taken, coffee was like warm milk and we asked for cheese to go on jacket potatoes first so it melted in, but they were brought out with cheese on top of the tuna.

An unpretentious and friendly cafe off the beaten track where you can just call in for a cuppa or a meal. Waitress service. The menu offers an excellent selection of regular options including sandwiches; your choice of ingredients on toast; jacket potatoes; omelettes; salads; full day breakfasts etc. and if you don't see exactly what you want the staff are happy to use any ingredients available on the menu in different combinations @ customers request. The food is freshly prepared in an open kitchen within the cafe and the cost is more than reasonable. I have visited a number of times in the past year and always received a friendly welcome and service
