Had a nice, rich hot chocolate here. If you add cream it'll be chocolate which compliments the flavour. There's a sign saying its self-service which is a little odd considering how small the place is.

Avoid the pastries!!! I agree with the other people comments, the pastries we tried were so stale, maybe a week old or more.

I went in wanting to buy a selection of pastries for my sister in law to celebrate her passing her driving test. However, quickly changed my mind after speaking to the man serving me. I really felt like he didn’t want me to buy anything - that’s the best way to describe the interaction. I got a salted caramel lobster tail - both pastry and filling were stale. The filling was in fact hard. Didn’t taste like any other lobster tail pastry I’ve had before. I also got a couple of pistachio cannoli - they were better. The pastry had the crunch the other one lacked. It was nice. They look better than they taste, which is a shame.

One of the best coffee ever, my partner vouched, and I absolutely loved the Cannoli. Sicilian Lemon Cannoli was a treat and my partner tried the Pistachio Cannoli, which he loved. It is a delightful and quirky little cafe in the old town streets of Canterbury. If you love nostalgia and Italian style, Cafe, this is the place to be.

I recently visited this cafe and was disappointed to find out that they use pork fat in their food but do not have any signage to inform customers. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they were arrogant and refused to offer a refund or exchange. I would not recommend this place.

Tried the pistachio and coconut cannolis from here. The pistachio was lovely but the coconut was drowned out by the white chocolate flakes. The inside seemed small and a little dark, but the coffee bar looked well-equipped.

Thought it was pretty but when I went inside and asked for the marzipan fruits, the man was quite curt/rude to us with his tone, and tossed the fruits onto the counter top. I still bought them as they were going to be a nice treat for myself, they were £12 (for only 4 fruits) which is outrageous. I convinced myself this was going to be nice so I got them anyways. They were absolutely awful. Hard and stale, obviously been sitting out for a while and when I got home I noticed they hadn't even been secured properly in the packaging, only closed with some weak and dirty tape. I will never try this place again, it is a waste of money, and the service wasn't good, I am truly disappointed. Don't let the aesthetic exterior trick you.

First time I went the guy was lovely i it was a brilliant experience. The second time my girlfriend went into the toilet which has a sign on it displaying that it is a toilet and even has instructions on how to open the door. My friend who spent £10 had finished paying and I was waiting for her and I said to him I’m just waiting for someone to finish using the toilet. He then says it’s not a public toilet which if a toilet in a cafe has a sign on it displaying that it is a restroom you would think it is for customers . If it is a private restroom at least put a sign on the door. My friend that had just spent £10 sat down to enjoy he’s food and the rude man said “it is takeaway you said takeaway you can’t sit” even though he never asked takeaway or eat in. When my girlfriend left the toilet he then proceeded to give us a 5 minute lecture on how it’s a private toilet and insulting us even though it had the appearance of a public restroom and no indication that it was not for customers. The first time I went the guy was really nice the second time it was a different guy, he is the larger one and ruder one.

Went here a few weeks ago and was served by a lovely man. Went in today and my friend was buying food and I needed the toilet so I used the PUBLIC toilet provided. I knew it was public as it had a sign on it indicating it was for men and women. Came out and started complaining that I had gone in there without asking talking about private property when it is a cafe open to public. He told us to get out and I did so happily. After this my friend told me about this mans attitude when buying from him, very unhelpful and disrespectful. Will never be going here again, absolutely livid. I’m literally only 15 and he was talking to my friends and I like that. Disgraceful.

Wes Anderson would love Café Turquoise, the beautifully arranged window and display of cakes and chocolates is enough to make every mouth water that passes by its delights, I can highly recommend the cannoli's with a vast choice of fillings, the owner was splendid and just what you would want from such a unique looking place, service was quick but bear in mind the café is small so service maybe a little slower than you've become accustomed to but believe me it is worth the wait, and the coffee is sensational. I will definitely be visiting Café Turquoise again for some more cannoli's and coffee!

When walking along the magical streets of Canterbury did we find this lovely little cafe. Honestly I'm only going to the smallest cafes as I dont like too spacious and overcrowded places. This cafe absolutely suits me. 3-4 tables and the tastiest coffee in the UK. We've also had a gorgeous lemon tart and an even better chocolate muffin with whipped cream and hot chocolate sauce topping. The favours and the atmosphere was absolutely fab. Hope to visit you soon.

On the corner you will find Cafe Turquoise. We entered I was the only one to order a Scone with Cream and Strawberry and a cuppa. Well The scone was amazing warmed and light and fluffy the cream was not to overpowering and the strawberry just right. We were looking for a good coffee and cake on a cold and rainy day in Canterbury. Found "cafe turquoise" and had the best coffee I have ever had in the UK. Blend # 22 was exception! Full flavour, correct temperature, made in an appropriate cup size ( not a mega cup ) and the cake selection would allow all tastes to be satisfied. The gentleman serving is a trained barista. Highly recommend this place to the lovers of good coffee.

With most desserts around the £4-5 mark, it's cheaper than buying a dessert for £7-8 in a restaurant. The atmosphere felt like a continental cafe. The coffee is a high standard and it has the ground coffee smell that I remember from going to London with my Nanna as a child. She was very fussy about having fresh ground coffee. The desserts, cream tea and drinks were all delicious. The man serving spoke quite abruptly to me but I didn't take it personally, he wasn't being rude it was just his manner. I think this cafe is an absolute gem and I am pleased that we found it.
