Cafe The Vibes in Central Bedfordshire

Absolutely amazing place the staff are amazing and so kind, they were so patient and the interior is amazing and so calming like your on holiday and the bathroom is amazing and so cozy. The food was absolutely amazing and so delicious the drinks were so good and I just loved it I will definitely be coming back! 😋

Stopped here for breakfast. Two of us, one Eggs Royale and one Smashed Avocado with Salmon. Both were nice, served on toasted sourdough, although mine was more like warm bread. The service was good, friendly and fast enough. The prices are more like London prices though, and I was put off having the Veggie Breakfast as it is £10.90 with only one egg and to add a second egg takes the price up to £12.90. The Frenchios looked good, if you're into that sort of thing, meat and fruit served with French toast! Was a nice breakfast, but this is the first time we've eaten in Leighton Buzzard and I'd probably try somewhere else next time.

Hands down the best breakfast in Leighton - fresh tasty food and massive portions - Papa Grande Breakfast is awesome.

The papa grand is the best breakfast I've found in leighton. The freshly squeezed orange juice is also great. Good food good coffee 😁

Delicious food, friendly staff, this place is so good and popular so sometimes I have to wait a bit until there will be a free table.

Lovely environment , attention to detail with service with reasonable prices aswell. We had breakfast this morning at vibes and it was delicious , especially the perfectly cooked sausages and eggs .would definitely recommend.

Very well trained staff, friendly young team. I had just coffee late and healthy granola. Price was too cheap for such a lovely 🍜. Only 4 stars because I haven't checked the rest restaurant and it's very busy. But atmosphere brilliant 👌

We live out of the area and was passing by , this place is a little gem , the service was fab, really friendly staff. The food was amazing and really good value so much so we are planning to go back in February when we next visit , tzatziki was the best I’d ever tasted

Really like this place. A real mix from sandwiches and jacket potatoes to breakfasts all day and Mediterranean options. Coffee was good too. I had an espresso and a kofte. Jacket potatoes are huge. Highly recommended.

Must be the best breakfast in Leighton Buzzard, and they open “early” on a Sunday morning. Food is excellent, staff and management are amazing, would definitely recommend. Even better in the summer when you can sit next to the canal!!!

I’ve been here before in the past and loved it. It’s been some time since I’ve been back and in my opinion this is the best place to have breakfast in Leighton buzzard. Staff are soo friendly, food was amazing and the seats are soo comfortable that whilst I’m sitting here finishing my coffee I don’t feel in a rush to leave.

A fantastic surprise in an idyllic spot on the canal. Great food service and atmosphere. We had a lovely New York breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and pancakes and a small cooked breakfast all on the same plate presented very nicely. Staff are quick, accommodating and have a great attitude. In the day the cafe opens into a bar along the canal with an outdoor seating area making this a much bigger place with a quirky vibe. Hence the perfectly named cafe The Vibes. I rate this caf 10/10 for effort, location, service, food and great friendly staff. Next time I'll take photos

Food was good, and plentiful. Ended up sitting in the basement next to the door to the outside seating because they were full. Other than being a little on the cool side since the door was open, it was fine. They had at least one new person being trained, so there was a bit of confusion, but everyone was cheerful and pleasant. Would visit again.

The service here is very good. Nice and friendly and the food is of a very good quality. The prices are slightly higher than other places for a fry up but I would most definitely eat here again. This would probably be for special treats rather than a regular haunt. I would highly recommend booking as it can get very busy.

Lovely little gem by the canal in Leighton buzzard. Outdoor seating available water side which is nice. Well staffed amd friendly service. Been here a few times now and have good food for both breakfast and lunch here. Would highly recommend - fair pricing and good quality.

Went for breakfast. Whole menu is available even at breakfast time. Sat outside by the Grand Union canal. It's mid priced but the food is lovely.

The food is fantastic and very good value too. My daughters always want to go to The Vibes when we're in town. Try the French Toast you will NOT be disappointed! Been back with friends many times and always a hot favourite :)

Popped by as was on a bike meet and wanted some breakfast. Service spot on and friendly. Ordered sausage sandwich on brown withe hash browns and a tea. Tea was in a pot and a hub of milk. Sandwich came with crisps and salad garnish. Sauces in bottles available. Sandwich tasted fresh, was hot and bread was fresh. The garnish made me smile. First time I’d had a garnish with a breakfast sandwich!! Came to £11 which I felt was a bit on the steep side. Some of the other guests had the full blown English breakfast and that looked impressive!! Note difficult to park and it’s right on the road about. I was on my bike and had to park on the pavement temporarily

Not real orange juice, but nice place. Specially when weather is good you can sit right by the canal

A friend of mind went to this cafe a week ago, see sent me a photo of her breakfast and I thought it was so good that I had to go and try it for myself. Well today I did and what a truly great breakfast it was every was cooked perfectly. I had to travel 15 miles to try the breakfast at this cafe and it was worth the drive. I look forward to my return visit and maybe I try they lunch or evening menu.

Incredible little place with a lovely option of seating by the canal. We have been coming to this café for months and are never let down by the service or food. Very consistent!

What can I say, this place is just amazing. From the outside you’d not be amiss thinking this was your average greasy spoon, but you’d be sorely mistaken. Top class service, an expansive menu, and honestly some of the best food I’ve had from a cafe, you just can’t go wrong. Highly recommend this place, and the all day breakfasts are not to be missed. There’s something for everyone here!

Food was surprisingly good, was impressed with speed of service, the portion size was large but not overwhelming.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming. There is so many options for food it took me a while to pick. The smoothies are amazing also, will be going again.

Nice food, great presentation, nice atmosphere. Food came out quickly, the portion size of the carbonara could've been bigger but it was still tasty none the less. Was seated right away and didn't have to wait ages for the bill/card machine. Would come back again for a quick lunch if I'm in the area.

Cafe the vibes was a great spot for food. Despite passing it many times on foot and in the car, we never popped in here. Upon finding somewhere to eat today, we were pleasantly surprised. It was very busy in the vibes but we were seated almost immediately and had our order taken. Wait times were reasonable too. We only waited around 10 minutes for our brunch. Food was hot, tasty and very well presented. Fantastic full English breakfast I’ll be coming back for. Coffee was also amazing. Strong and full of flavour.

Visited here for the first time with some friends for a lunch and have to say I was very impressed. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely gorgeous 🥰 the atmosphere was so friendly & welcoming, I will definitely be returning! Thank you guys so much 😊

Great food, really enjoyed the breakfast. Unfortunately, perhaps as expected - very busy on mothers day, so a long wait for our orders. Our online table booking for 5 people, though verified by text/email, was null and void on the day, we were told, due to how busy the cafe was. Ended up with a table for 4 with a 5th person sitting on the end. A little bit inconvenient as blocking mothers with prams getting by. So, overall not a great experience for me but will revisit when less busy.

Very fresh and tasty food. Nicely presented and friendly staff too. If you’re in Leighton Buzzard you wouldn’t go wrong popping in for a bite to eat. Lots of the food is also home made and you can certainly taste the difference.

My first visit and I couldn't be more pleased. Staff is very friendly and genuine. I got the Elvis panini and it was on point. The calamari was fantastic as an appetizer. The vibe at The Vibe is what you hope out of a cafe restaurant, chilled, warm, and truly pleasant. I'm a permanent fan. My new place to wish I was at when I can't be there. 😁

Well done cafe the vibes!!! Greeting with a huge smile by all the staff, so welcoming. Didn't book, but they worked out a seating solution for us, amazing. Great menu, order smashed avo with poached egg and salmon. Excellent. We were told it was busy and may take some time, but arrived very fast! Great job, very happy, happy kids and happy wife. We will be coming back

Me and my Wife went to this restaurant today and it was amazing. It was my wife's birthday and all the staff wished her a happy birthday. The service was 10/10. A young lady served us and she was really nice and helpful. The food was 10/10 too. Highly recommended this place 👌

Great place to visit. Really busy when i visited. Everybody welcome. Friendly helpful staff. I had the Early Bird breakfast and a Latte. Would have taken photo but was too hungry. Wonderful thick toast. Nom nom nom. 👍👍👍

Best breakfast I’ve had for a long time! Proper meaty sausages, fried eggs done perfectly and great quality ingredients all round. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Staff were lovely too and happy to make amendments to my meal when ordering.

My first time there with family who have frequently eaten at this place. Excellent food and service. Lovely to sit outside in covered area. Heaters and blankets are supplied, if needed. You are on the side of the river. Barges moored up. Plenty of wildlife to watch.

The food and service is outstanding! The place has a great downstairs section that sits you right along the canal side. We have tried a lot of different breakfasts on the menu and my wife’s favourite is the frenchios, mine was the papa grande although I am quite partial to the club!

Fantastic breakfast choices. We had New York breakfast which was very nicely cooked served with fruit and Vibes Granola Special, which was delicious plus a pot of tea for two. Really good service and food came quickly. Sat in semi-open area downstairs overlooking canal. Nice to be able to see kitchen upstairs ( which is ground floor). If their other good is up to this standard then a great place to eat. Update from Feb 2022: Still a great place for casual eating, had their Frenchies breakfast today and a week ago had Chef's pasta special, all great with lovely service. My first time in several weeks having been in hospital for a back operation, food and service continues to be great. Prices have obviously had to rise slightly due to VAT and inflation, but still great value. And another visit reconfirms our opinion above.

Sat outside in blazing sun, watching the world go by slowly on canal boats!! Super breakfast, lovely friendly staff... Really enjoyable, and so thrilled for them to have it so busy :)

Excellent breakfast! Hearty portion of delicious food for a really fair price. £10 got me a latte, 2 bacon, 1 sausage, big spoon of beans, 2 hashbrowns, 2 toast - and from seated to eating in 5 minutes. I am *impressed*!

First time visiting. Went for breakfast. Welcoming friendly staff. Nice enough establishment, with canal side seating, clean with decent deco. Good selection on menu, but slightly over priced. Breakfast came quickly and was nice. Overall, nothing exciting or new you wouldn't find in any greasy spoon cafe. Would go again, but wouldn't go out my way.

A pleasant place to have a meal or even just a drink by the riverside. However the peaceful location comes with high prices, but generally the service and food/drinks are good.
