I go nearly every week since moving to Port Talbot and sit outside in there nice seating area with the dog with an icecream. The pizzas are epic, just avoid the really salty Classic Neapoletan Pizza ... really enjoy the Ice Cream selection and Hot Choclates. My family who come with me state there coffees are nothing to brag about. I cannot comment as I don't like coffee. The other complaint is just the outdoor seating needs sorting, I am sure they are safe but on first impressions I thought I was about to break it 🤣 Being that there is limited indoor seating, I think they should put more outdoor coverage, that protects you properly from the rain and wind. They always have amazing ice-cream flavours and they are stunning! Highly recommend.

Grabbed ice cream from here again. Love the edible containers. Great selection of flavours.

We visited as a family whilst on a local holiday. The place is well decorated and situated on the beach which is lovely. The service is good and the food came quickly. We ordered coffees and cakes with our son having a child's pizza. He LOVED the pizza and you could tell it was a home made one and not a 99p one from a supermarket. The coffees and cakes and ice creams were nice and we enjoyed it overall. However, I thought it was a bit over priced and wouldn't really say it was worth it.

Said we only wanted coffee, we're shown to a table and given menus, and left for 5 mins, there were 3 members of staff stood chatting behind the coffee machines and 2 walking around the tables. It doesn't take that long to decide what coffee you want.

Come to Remo's every time I visit Aberavon. The food and service is great, with a lively atmosphere.

Went to Aberavon yesterday and my daughter went to get us a hot drink but was turned away. Apparently they only take card payments now and she didn't have her card, the owners of this place want to remember that people's cash over many years (including mine) is what built the place. When kids go to get an ice-cream in the summer, will they be turned away because they only have cash ?. Absolutely pathetic, that's the last time we'll be going there for anything

The Best Atmosphere , Coffee and Joes Ice Cream around. The owners are incredible people and have created a Community Hub that can be life Saving . Its outdoor seating at the moment . Its right on the promenade with incredible views its frequented by Dog Walkers , Cold Water Swimming Groups , Cyclists , Motorcyclists, Walking Groups etc etc

This is a comfortable and attractive bar restaurant right on the beach. Excellent, unfussy table service. I had the spicy beans on toast. The beans were wonderful. The brown toast was OK; it was two huge slices cut from a loaf but was somehowbland. My wife has brown toast with marmalade. Unfortunately there was no granary or similar option. The coffee was good but the cream I had with my amercano was uht. I would happily visit again but make some different choices.

We called in for a coffee. We ordered 2 Cappucinos. They were tastless no coffee flavour just like drinking warm milk please change the beans, put more coffee in or just stick to cheap instant granules.

Had a brilliant tasty breakfast in Remo's this morning. I was served by a very helpful member of staff. I cannot fault this place for the quality of food and the excellent friendly service of the staff

The food was delicious, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lovely. I would highly recommend Remos to all. There was a small wait but it was worth waiting for.

Absolutely gorgeous food, clear to see why the crispy Chinese beef wrap is a favourite. No scrimping in the meat and Nathan the server was like the cherry on top of the hot chocolate cake. Amazing place🥰

The food was alright but a little expensive for what it was. Coffee was very good. Service was efficient and friendly.

Went out for an impromptu date night this evening. The food was outstanding and the service was fantastic! The chicken curry and penne ai funghi are to die for!!! We asked for the curry to have extra spice (no extra cost) and to add chicken (extra cost) and chilli flakes to the pasta, so unbelievably worth it!!! We will be frequent guests at Remos! ❤️

Remos is a lovely little spot on the beach front, very convenient and I’ve always enjoyed the food there. But today I visited and it was £5.10 for a small caramel latte. I know, inflation, but that is beyond. The coffee isn’t even good quality, and they’re cheap syrups so I don’t know how £5.10 is justified.

I ordered chicken linguine pasta and my in laws ordered pizza and my partner ordered a Chinese beef wrap , best meal out we've ever had 🤣🤣

Very popular and food and service ok although it does seem very expensive compared to other cafes in the area.

Beautiful food as always. Don’t think we have ever had anything that’s has not been good. We were served by a young girl who was just lovely. All staff members are extremely friendly and the restaurant is spotless. Amazing cupcakes too!

Myself and 6 others spent our Friday evening at Remo’s - We had two courses each which we were all thoroughly impressed by. The front of house staff were friendly and funny which capped off a great evening. Top food and top staff. If I ever come back to Port Talbot, I will be sure to visit Remo’s again.

Nice enough food and drink but overpriced, particularly where's it's located

Went as a group of four on a busy Sunday afternoon but were accommodated straight away with no wait. Then they forgot to ask our orders and I complained Received a good response and when the was delivered we were surprised to receive some complimentary food as compensation. Great response and food.. a place worth a visit. I'll certainly return.

Absolutely fantastic, there was a full mixture sitting down to a meal. From three year olds to sixty year olds men and women veggies and not. We were all looked after by lovely staff who were polite and professional. And the food "gorgeous" my veggie pasta was fantastic the young ones enjoyed they're spagball and the fish, and Cajun chicken were also a hit. Plus the price was also right, a few beers and food all in budget. A good evening meal loved by all.

Had the most amazing breakfast ever!! Service was brilliant, all staff were really lovely and the food was phenomenal. The place was spotless and on every table a beautiful bunch of daffodils.

Awful customer service. Front of house was really rude to everyone, even telling an embarrassed young boy he couldn’t afford a lolly or pay cash which when questioned by his mum turned out to be a lie. Waiting over 20 mins for a take away drink while watching bar staff laughing and taking their time. Staff member Lyndsey started shouting at me that it was busy and she couldn’t get bar staff to work. It wasn’t anywhere near as busy as I’ve seen it, staff were just rude and didn’t care. You sort of expect a bit better when the prices are so high

PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD MENU. Since covid there's just been a basic food menu which is such a shame. Me and my partner, family and friends used to always love coming to remos but have only been back once since as the foods we used to like have stopped being served for some reason, which is a real shame. We used to love the ham, egg & chips and the gammon. Please consider bringing the old menu back so we can enjoy coming back again

Delicious vegan friendly soup served by a friendly waitress in a sunlight venue, everything was great. So good to see Aberavon bustling with people on a beautiful autumn day! 🍂

Way overpriced for basic food, two poached eggs on one piece of toast £6.50, cup tea £2.90. Also toast advised as famous hand cut, more like cut with an hatchet. English breakfast £10 , one egg, one sausage, one toast half a tomato, slice of bacon and a spoon of beans. Much better value elsewhere, the front much better quality and quantity. I do not support businesses that do not take cash normally my colleague insisted he wished to try Remo,s, never again was his parting gesture.

Friendly and attentive service, decent food if a bit overpriced. Good selection of ice creams. Nice to sit outside by the beach, Welsh weather permitting.

Wonderful meal, my wife and I had here last week. From the moment we walked in, there was a lovely atmosphere. Staff very welcoming, polite, and friendly. The food was absolutely beautiful

Great ice cream. They also have the fastest biodegradable ice cream tubs. You simply just eat them. Great idea!! Best idea that I have seen.

Only criticism is that they do not accept cash, card only payment... otherwise, I would have given a score of 5 for everything.

Remo is located conveniently right on the promenade, overlooking the seafront. Parking is reasonably accessible. The food is always good quality and friendly staff. We always enjoy coming here for dinner. It was quite reasonably priced and good portion size.

We had a lovely early evening meal here. Staff are always polite and friendly. Only downside the seats are looking a bit worn and could do with upgrading. I come here most Sundays for toast and coffee on the beach.

Lovely spot for kids and families to get an ice cream after burning off energy on the beach or promenade.

We went to Remos to enjoy one of their ice cream sundaes, but were extremely disappointed with both the service and the sundae. The staff didn't seem as friendly as usual and rather blunt. Worst of all was the fact that they had no Turkish delight ice cream, no strawberry or toffee sauce, and we had no apology for our disappointment. We had also ordered two glasses of water which never arrived. We always make a point of visiting Remos when we come down for a visit, but this has made us wonder if us pensioners should come to Remos in the future. Sorry to put a review like this but we were both upset, especially paying nearly £15 for the experience.

Popped in for lunch on a very windy Saturday, we had to wait for a table as they were all full. Was great to see it busy despite the beach being pretty deserted. Fab atmosphere, lovely staff. The three of us had the Chinese crispy beef wrap, which was so divine we will definitely be back to have them again. Bit pricey but can't fault the quality and service.

Card only establishment so will not be visiting again. Staff were very friendly and welcoming , especially front of house. Decent food( latte coffee could have been hotter). Situated in a great location. I was unaware of Card only policy; they don’t make you aware of this when you enter, unfortunately. We run a cash only business and society needs to wake up and realise that firstly people like to budget in these times of rising prices by using cash. Secondly, please look into the implications of a cashless society.

Breakfast food is a 10/10! Love all the veggie options and they all taste amazing!! Staff are always very friendly and helpful , even when it is busy!

Absolutely awful experience for the price. £6.60 per pint and almost £8 for a slice of Costco carrot cake. It’s Aberavon not Monaco. Forced to go there as there’s very little choice. If this is to be a serious tourist destination there needs to be...

How can anyone charge over five pounds for two scoops of ice cream in a tub. I have to agree with other comments about Remos being so expensive, wished we'd seen the independent ice cream van further down before we'd gone in.

Beautiful food with great selection to choose from. All staff very friendly and venue spotless. Good choice for kids too.

The food is of a good quality and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The reason for the 3 stars is the high prices for what is basically a cafe. Over £40 for a burger meal and a baguet a pint of cider and...

Very tasty meal served by excellent staff. Vegetarian options were also good. Food was piping hot and a very good portion for each meal ordered. My only criticism is that there was too much fat/oil for my personal taste, but I still enjoyed.

Had lasagna it was the best one I’ve tasted so far. Will definitely be returning for my birthday next week.

Good range of food but quality average and rather expensive when you’re eating outside on a Bench. Asked for a panini to be cut into 3 but on ordering they said they were not sure the kitchen would do it - and they didn’t. How...

We were shocked at the price of two cappuccinos & two carrot cakes, which totalled £19.60!!!!! Just been to Shoreline Cafe in Saundersfoot, which is also by the beach & had exactly the same Carrot Cake & large cappuccinos which totalled £13.00. What a saving....

Despite a very busy lunchtime a very friendly and efficient service. I was delighted to be offered a wide range of gluten-free options. I had a pizza which was delicious!

Visited Remo's on 15th Feb with some cycling friends. As long as you didn't want decaf coffee drinks were good! As for a piece of gluten-free cake or toast the only offering was a slice of lemon meringue - which to my horror cost me...

What a lovely last minute visit to Remos. It’s been about 7years since last there. Greeted by a cheery chap , a small wait for a table as it was full. Ordered pea&mint soup with ciabatta which was one of the nicest I’ve ever tasted....

The food is very fresh and tasty, the service friendly and atmosphere is vibrant and lively everyone seems to be enjoying being there. I always visit when I’m up from London. Thank you Remos see you soon I hope.

Lovely cafe, great staff.. always good service. However there was no choice of desserts for my diabetic dad. He had to sit there with only a drink. Surely you could keep a tub of sugar free ice-cream in your freezer.

2 cokes and 2 ice cream for kids £12.50

Price is too high for what is on your plate. Breakfast not available all day. Cutlery had stains of food left over. Toilets need to be cleaned regularly. Some locks need replacing.

Not very often we get to eat outside in this kind of weather (Suns out!) So took advantage of the outside tables after a day down the beach, lovely food with fast service, wouldn't expect anything less...

Had warm chocolate brownie with no fork or spoon to eat it with just a knife the brownie was lovely but difficult to eat

Really nice location with a very nice seated area. If its busy don't be put off as the service is very quick and the food is really nice. Every member of staff you encounter are friendly and polite our order was brought out to is with 5 mins of ordering depending what you order obviously the time you wait may vary but a visit to remos is well worth it.

Looked very nice and fairly quick to get seated with no booking. When down hill from there. 20 minutes passed and no drinks or food order taken. Meal was good I had the fish and chips. Just the 4 of eating. Table next to us had 6 or 7 visits by staff to take orders. Didn't bother to stop and ask us. I get your busy but that's not how to treat customers. Come to finishing and no plates taken or dessert order taken. Had to find a member of staff to get your bill.

Amazing food, excellent service and very welcoming staff

Absolutely gorgeous food and ice cream. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. There is optional indoor or outdoor seating are. Child and dog friendly there is even a dog water bowl be the entrance door. Would definitely recommend. Please not the fries and sausage is a child's potion.

Me and my friend went here for lunch yesterday and we both really enjoyed it. We turned up about 11.30am and there was a little bit of a wait to be seated but once we were the service was excellent and fast. The food coming out all looked amazing, we had soup of the day and a panini and it was yummy. Lattes and hot chocolates were delicious too. Seating inside is a great space and good atmosphere, also plenty of seating outside if it's good weather. Toilet facilities too and very reasonably priced food and drink for good quality. Will def be back.

Went for ice-cream. Had to queue for purchase (which was acceptable) but then had to wait for nearly 29 minutes to get ice-cream because the staff at the counter were chatting / eating and goofing around. Once we got the ice-cream it wasn't bad.

Good service, nice staff. Coffee and burger were first class. Burgers are made in house to their own recipe and are truly amazing. One of the best I've ever had. Definitely recommend!

I have never been as embarassed as I was when I went here. We asked at the door if we could have a table. The lady told us to go on in. We sat down when this very large American lady started screaming at us. Everybody looked at us and was laughing. She basically wiped the floor didn't let us explain and sent us out like school children. The only reason I didn't complain as it was my sister in laws birthday and I didn't want to make a scene. She left us for 10 minutes then came and got us and sat us at the exact table we had sat on. This is the first time I have ever gone there and certainly the last. Absolutely disgusting service the staff need to have customer service training. Please avoid there are plenty of other lovely places in close vicinity and in future I will take my business there.
