Cafe Nostalgia in Central Bedfordshire

Honestly the only place where they didn’t burn my well done eggs. i loved it very much. My friends liked their Sunday roast menu and the shepherds pie. Their portions are quite very large though. So that has to be considered before ordering.

Lovely food saff always very friendly definitely would recommend Nostalgia.

This is our go to twice a week cafe. Superb food and great service. The waitresses and chef's are all friendly as is the owner. Highly recommended

This was the worst fried breakfast ive ever had. Sausage was tasteless, hashbrowns were soggy, had to smother everything in brown sauce to try and enjoy it. Didnt bother finishing it. Won't be eating here again. The staff were so friendly and welcoming such a shame about the food.

Unfortunately usually a very disappointing experience to visit here, especially later in the day. Customers are treated like bits of furniture as staff are more interested in cleaning floors, dragging furniture noisily and leaving the door open even on very cold days. Menu items often overpriced. Very unwelcoming...

Clean and unpretentious busy cafe serving good traditional cafe food & drink. We enjoyed good non-greasy cooked breakfasts, that were served quickly by the friendly young waitresses.

First visit to the Cafe Nostalgia in Dunstable Beds . Just of the main high st. Greeting and service very nice moving tables for 10 of us. Plenty of choices on menu, prompt orders taken for drinks and food. All came very soon and was well presented. Staff were great. Bill was very reasonable for today. Will def call in again.

Came here late on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Food was well-presented and reasonably priced. The Peri-Peri Chicken that I had was really tasty and spicy. The staff were helpful and you could tell that they really took pride in running a clean, efficient restaurant. Will definitely come back the next time we visit Dunstable.

Really nice cafe breakfast. Went with my mum before we done our weekly shop. Hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, sausages and bacon were cooked well, beans were lovely and the mushrooms delicious. The inly thing is it is small and my buggy did cause traffic, but everyone was accommodating and friendly. I will be coming back!

The service at Nostalgia is personal which is surprising as it is a café. The food is absolutely delicious and amazing value for money. We struggled to eat the big breakfast which was cooked to perfection. If you are in the area call in, you will be made to feel part of a family.

Use it regularly but find the jacket potatoes very expensive at least 2 pound dearer than most cafes

Had set 4 off the breakfast set menu. Perfectly cooked, good service and very clean café. Lavazza coffee served here, 😃 first time going here but this won't be my last.

I spend a lot of the time on the road with work and go into a lot of cafes for breakfasts and lunches. This morning I popped into Cafe Nostalgia and experienced what I can only describe as the worst bacon baguette I have ever tasted. The baguette tasted a few days old, the bacon looked so well done it resembled cardboard that had been baked for a week before serving it, and I joke you not, the amount of ketchup was so small it was barely noticeable, just a dry, tasteless baguette. The only redeeming feature was that it was a generous size, even though most of it ended up in a bin 20mins later. Was the WORST caff takeaway I've had in years without doubt. Only reason I gave it 2 stars where the ladies serving were polite and friendly. Will definitely not be going back.

Today I visited Cafe Nostalgia, I was served by Cristina who was so cheerful and welcoming! Volcan cooked up a storm and presented the best full english in Dunstable! Would highly recommend!

We did an Uber eats takeaway breakfast/brunch. Have had this a couple of times from Cafe Nostalgia. The breakfast arrived quickly and was hot including the drinks which are very well wrapped to! The large breakfast is to big for my wife to eat it, but as always I can manage it! Overall, good quality and fast delivery, would recommend.

Coffee is ok although I'm not so sure about the food. The spag boll I had was rather soggy.

Nice friendly staff, good choice of food, breakfast was very nice. Clean with decent space between the tables. A classic 'old-fashioned' style Cafe, nothing fancy but good food at a very reasonable price.

Tried Cafe Nostalgia for first time today, great service, friendly staff, good quality good and very reasonably priced. We owner took time to speak to us when we went up to the till to pay. We will be coming back!

Recently updated to 5 ☆ The food here is of excellent quality. Mostly home cooked, I would recommend the chicken curry and to follow, carrot cake! The menu is varied and caters for all diets and tastes, if you can't find what you're looking for, they're only too happy to oblige. A family friendly environment, catering for children with their own menu! As well as dinning in, they offer take out, or call and order ahead. This place comes highly recommend. Delivery through Uber Eats. Whether you want a quick sandwich or a Sunday roast, you won't be disappointed.

This is without doubt the best cafe in Dunstable. A warm friendly greeting awaits. Food excellent. The breakfast is a good price with Tea/Coffee/Toast ,inclusive .Other cafes in the area are much more expensive. The young lady who greets and serves you at the table deserves 10/10 for her happy demeanour. Forget all the other dives and go here for your breakfast ,lunch and Dinner. Alan

Had breakfast here this morning 1/9/21 and I really can't fault it. We had full English and egg bacon mushrooms chips and beans with 2 toast each and cup of tea & coffee. Would happily go again

Our favourite place for a quick breakfast or lunch in Dunstable. Extensive menu, very decent portion sizes and surprisingly cheap! We’re always greeted by friendly staff and service is speedy. We’ve had a few different things from the menu and all have been great. Would always recommend this place

Hot and flavour full English breakfast. All for a tad over £5. Can't be bad.

Ordered via Uber multiple times from Cafe Nostalgia and never had any issues. Our order today however of 3 paninis turned up and the food was inedible. They had all been packaged with what must be loads of salad dressing. This had soaked through into the bread of the paninis making them all soggy and mushy. I called the restaurant to make them aware and got shouted down the phone by the rudest man stating “I made it myself and it was all perfect”. This could’ve easily been put right for a returning customer, just a shame that this immature man wouldn’t allow his pride to be dented at the cost of providing a paying customer with edible food. Needs to work on packaging and customer service. Disappointed and a shame as the food had so much potential to be nice and tasty as per our previous orders. EDIT: At no point was a refund offered. I would of happily brought the food into the shop for a full refund however this was never offered. You simply shouted to speak to Uber as it was “not your problem”. I never said the food wasn’t cooked well, but the way it was packaged and delivered made it inedible. Not sure why you feel the need to lie about how the phone conversation went. The food is now in the bin, where it belongs

Welcoming 10/10 Breakfast Price 9/10 (£7.00) Presentation 10/10 Coffee Taste (Lavazza) 10/10 Breakfast Quality 10/10 Café Cleanliness 10/10 Rapid Service 10/10 Overall experience for 1st time is excellent. As soon as I entered the café, I was greeted with a lovely smile and very quick table order. Will definitely recommend and return. Well done

Proper breakfast and lovely staff

Just left Cafe Nostalgia and all five of us said what wonderful food! All the staff were extremely friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. What a lovely lunch. Totally wheelchair and vegetarian friendly with a vast range of food. We all highly recommend! Disappointed we didn't have much change for a tip!
