Cafe Kisa in Perth & Kinross

We stopped in Auchterarder for lunch on our way to Aberdeen. This restaurant was chosen at random as it was close to the car park but it was a lucky choice. It was packed, which is always a good sign, but they found space or us. A couple of toasted sandwiches and bottles of water offered value for money - I had banana and chicken with a curry Mayo sauce which was different. It was the service of Callum that caused me to review this though….he was very pleasant and attentive and had time to speak nicely to everyone when clearly under pressure. Well done

Nice little cafe in the town. Closes quite early with last orders at 1645hrs. Given we were late it looked quite weary. The staff were great and the service was good. Toilets clean and menu comprehensive. Fish and chips was okay had to order coleslaw as extra and no peas to accompany it which was a bit of a shame. Drinks reasonably priced

We came across this local cafe whilst visiting the area and the whole family were super impressed by the range and amount of food and drink they had to offer. The service was next to none and their food was 10/10. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area

Late lunch, not booked but we'll received. Socially distanced. Reasonable price. Wheelchair accessible but no parking at door. Car park approx 100yds with disabled bays and electric charging.

We were staying in the lodges on the outskirts of Auchterarder. We came here for breakfast on our last day before we headed home and we wished we had come here everyday. My partner had the full breakfast and said it was one of the best he's ever had. Really good quality sausages. Me and my son had the pancakes. Oh my. They really were the best we had both ever had. I wish I could make them as good as that. So light and fluffy but so filling. The presentation aswell was lovely. 4 days on and I'm still talking about those pancakes.

Three of us had a really excellent lunch today in Cafe Kisa in Auchterarder. Food was great, service was great, presentation was great, menu was great. We all had different dishes, and each said the same thing - “best lunch for ages”. Couldn’t fault it, and will definitely return.

Visited here twice last week, for dinner then lunch the following day while staying at a nearby hotel. The staff were friendly and the restaurant felt very clean, with dividers between tables and thorough cleaning. The menu has plenty of choice and the food was delicious and arrived promptly. We would definitely visit here in future if in the area again.

Very good safety measures in place. Just had coffee and a cake which were fine, would have had soup but no vegetarian offering. Busy and friendly service.

Lovely restaurant and the young gent at front of house, Callum, was excellent at customer service. However, the fish and chips was disappointing as was more like a child’s portion, very nice tasted but I left hungry!

First post lockdown visit. Excellent Covid 19 safety measures in place while still maintaining a very pleasing ambience. Felt very safe. Staff as friendly & helpful as ever. Food great.

Had a lovely two course lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Service was prompt and efficient. Portions were good sizes. Desserts and cakes were totally yummy.

Dinner in Perth was not to be as they were busy, but Breakfast in Auchterarder was lovely ( apart from the winging vocal child ) A Good breakfast freshly cooked, nice Ladies served it all up promptly and hot. The coffee was very good and the Jam very tasty, If I'd know it was there I'd have tried for dinner, but the perth branch not quite so helpful .well worth the visit.

Stopped here for a brief coffee. It really is a lovely cafe and had we not just eaten big breakfast I would have happily sampled the delicious selection of food.Hubby and I love our Americano coffee strong with double shots and hot milk. Boy oh boy they surpassed our fussy standards and left us beaming.High hygiene standards and lovely service.

We went for lunch, the service was very prompt & efficient, staff cannot be faulted in any way. The food was amazing, I had the pea & ham soup followed by a baked potato with a cottage cheese & poached salmon filling which was excellent. Definitely recommended & we will return.

I discovered Cafe Kisa by accident when someone took me to a restaurant just outside of Kinross and I discovered they were part of the Cafe Kisa group. The food and service were so good, I had to try Cafe Kisa in Auchterarder, and I wasn't disappointed. This has become one of our regular places for lunch. The restaurant in Auchterarder is always busy, and the food and service are fantastic. As some people only come in for coffee and cake, I would recommend booking up if you want lunch, just to make sure you get a table.I have tried the baked potatoes, a chicken dish and the battered fish, and I can recommend all of these - the food is delicious. My mum had the breaded fish and she said it was beautiful.Cafe Kisa in both Kinross and Auchterarder are definitely worth visiting if you want a great lunch with good service and great food. I have still to try the one in Perth.

We often visit Le Jardin in Kinross, which is a Kisa cafe and very good. However, we decided to try the Auchterarder cafe for a change and ended up going twice for lunch within a week it was so good.The cafe has a lovely feel inside and the food, from a very extensive menu, is delicious. We often go for their open salads or pasta dishes but tried their burgers for the first time and what a revelation that was. We're not sure what seasoning they mix with the steak but they are incredibly tasty.Service, as always even when they are very busy, was friendly and efficient.

Hadn’t been for some time. Visited on Sunday and wasn’t let down. Staff friendly and helpful. Food first class. Great selection of food and drinks.

Fabulous cafe, great service and great food. Substantial plates at a reasonable price. We always try and visit at lunchtime when staying in the local area. Definitely a worthwhile visit, but it is very popular. Salads are exceptional.

Visited Tuesday at teatime. Welcome excellent and throughout our visit. Had halloumi and prawns for starters. Halloumi was good, prawns came in boiling hot oil which overwhelmed the taste sadly. Had chicken supreme with haggis which was excellent. Other main was fish and chips and the fish was fantastic (and much better than the dormy at Gleneagles fish and chips) Reasonably priced and certainly recommend.

Popped in whilst staying local on a dreary late afternoon. The restaurant was warm and welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. The halloumi starter was lovely but the piri piri prawns were roasting hot with too much oil. The fish and chips was delicious and the chicken with haggis really tasty. Chips were ok but not home cooked and way too much bread and salad garnish for our taste hence the 4 star. Would I return definatelly as the food was fresh and really tasty.

I went for lunch for one today, and was shown straight to a table. The lasagne with salad was excellent as was the Matthew Algae coffee. Special thanks to Donna, my waitress who went the extra mile with kindness. Worth going back for that. She is a credit to the establishment.

We have been to this cafe numerous times now. It is usually our lunch stop when we head up north but the other day we just decided to go.

I visit Auchterarder every year around Christmas and summer and I have had cakes/ lunch a few times in this Cafe. I think it has recently been refurbished and it is even better than I remembered it. Home made cakes and nice lunches and coffes. Good honest food with friendly and efficient service. Very reasonably priced. Cannot ask for more.

I went in for a quick lunch. I had soup and a sandwich, with tea.

What a great wee find. Brilliant menu with some really unusual food combinations. Staff were friendly and attentive and food was super fresh and served quickly, perfect as we had a working lunch. Will defo be back!!

We have had morning tea and brunch in this cafe, on different days. On both occasions the service was friendly and welcoming. The menu is quite extensive with plenty of options. They can cater to different allergies and tastes. They have freshly prepared food as well as some cabinet options. A good range of drinks including Suki teas. Very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

The cafe is just as good as last year but if anything much busier!

The cafe was packed and the staff were pleasant, however, in terms of veggie and vegan dishes, the choice was very limited.

Drove through Auchterarder last Saturday and popped into cafe Kisa - a busy little place that provides a good welcome and excellent lunch menu. The food was absolutely excellent as was service, hygiene, ambiance etc. Highly recommended.

Go to place in Auchterarder for informal eats. It has good menu and great service. Always busy. Have had lunch several times and breakfast. Always a good option.

We were greated with a really friendly welcome, the food was freshly made and was served quickly. The beef burgers were full of flavour, the homemade coleslaw was gorgeous aswell as the chips. Would also like to complement them for their disabled toilets, not a lot of places get this right but they have. We booked a table and glad we did as they were busy

We stopped for a coffee and scone before heading to Loch Tummel its a lovely place with a varied menu we will go back next visit to that area 10/10

We always meet our friends here for lunch as the food is fresh and home cooked, before proceeding to stay at a local hotel.

Have been to cafe kisa perth which was lovely so thought we would try the Auchterarder one. Was busy and we had to wait for table but I find this reassuring. Decor was nice, staff were friendly and very helpful the menu had so many options and the food was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend & if in Auchterarder I will definitely return

Were attending the Solheim Cup and called here for a coffee pre event. Really enjoyed it and discovered that they were doing evening meals that week so we booked for Thursday. We were extremely pleased with every aspect and so booked again for the Sunday. Everything again was first rate and we are really pleased we discovered this little jewel.

I was there with my mother who had been twice before and insisted she wanted me to try it. I was VERY impressed.

Recently renovated decor has improved the dining experience as the carpet has reduced noise levels. The food remains as tasty as ever. Value for money with a fairly extensive menu. The cakes and coffee have a good range, ice creams are also available.

What a lovely place to have lunch. Being a Saturday it was busy, and we waited just a few minutes for a table. The staff are very pleasant, friendly....and busy!

Stopped on our way to Pitlochry and had a delicious meal, staff and cheerful and attentive and the cafe interior is lovely. I would recommend Cafe Kisa if you are in the area or passing through

On approach it would seem there is a real connection between Kisa’s of Perth and Cafe Kisa. So far so good, as Kisa’s is excellent. Having been greeted pleasantly I was shown (well pointed to) a table and my order taken, large coffees and scones. One with jam and cream, the other just with jam.

Had a nice lunch today everything was very fresh new menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Will be back.

six of us called in for breakfast.we all had different things which were all cooked and presented perfectly.staff and service were very good and the cost was reasonable.

After visiting the dentist in Auchterarder, my mother and I popped in to Cafe Kisa with the aim of having a lovely brunch. It's safe to say the experience met my high expectations with flying colours. The food I ordered was fantastic. The best part of my experienc was the highly talented waitress serving me who was called Laura MacDonald. The atmosphere was substantially lifted by her quality and friendly service.

Nice place, very welcoming and a lovely cooked breakfast. Food served on hot plates, it’s amazing how many restaurants forget to do this. Decent portion size and reasonable price.

Second visit here with family, it’s a great place wide and varied menu, so much choice, the soup and sandwich Combo is huge, if there is a criticism it’s the tea bag is very weak, and to get an extra T bag you have to pay for another pot of T. However it won’t stop me coming back again.

Stopped in for brunch. Lovely menu and happy to alter it slightly due to dietary requirements. Food was very tasty and great coffee. All at a very reasonable price. Friendly helpful staff.

We popped in for a quick lunch.Staff were very accommodating with our request to be served quickly as we were in a rush,couldn't have been nicer actually.We had soup and sandwiches,which were lovely and my son had a kids burger.He was happy as he had asked for crispy bacon and it came just as he likes it!We felt like we made a few requests but were never made to feel like nuisance.All the staff were lovely and hard working and would definitely return if in the area.

First visit and rather disappointed. Initially served quickly enough but then lengthy wait for two toasties. Server was pleasant enough but the woman who then brought our food to the table was unsmiling and unfriendly. Not in uniform we assumed she was the owner. We asked for vinegar and dressing - got the dressing but still awaiting the vinegar. Made to feel a bit of an inconvenience to her to be honest. Most of the food was reasonable but the fries were hard and reheated. Due to the unpleasant demeanour of the ? owner we felt unable to complain. Wouldn’t return.

Never disappointed at Kisa, the food is great, service spot on. We are regulars and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Booked a round of golf at Gleneagles (Queen's Course four-ball £50 each). Arrived in Auchterarder early morning and headed for Cafe Kisa on the High Street (next to the Co-op Store)for breakfast. An extensive menu and the food was excellent, delivered with a smile by helpful table waitresses/waiters.

Making the most of an extra day off school for the EU elections we stopped in Auchterarder on our way north and picked Cafe Kisa for lunch. It was excellent. Not too busy, but a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The olives in the antipasto (those that were not scoffed by my son before I got to them) were really good.

First time here. A bit like the Tardis, much bigger inside than it looks from outside. Service was great from the moment we stepped in the door. Great wow factor! Great food, and clearly a lot of locals eat here, always a good sign!

Cafe Kisa has got to be one of the best places around. From superb coffee, an everything you could wish for breakfast, or lunch. As it is often quite busy, reservations are suggested.

First time here after spending years going to Gleneagles/Glenmor. Family of 7. Everything we had was great. It was full but the service was fast, efficient & friendly. Unlike the 5 ⭐️ resort up the road where every time the service is slow and dismal. They could learn a lot from this bustling cafe. First time visitors but it definitely won’t be the last time we visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cafe Kisa has great coffee, great scones and an affordable all day menu. Everything from tea m cake, full Scots breakfast and yummy stuffed baked potatoes to delicious custom toastie sandwiches and fish and chips. Their soup is my favourite. Always fresh and nutritious and great value with a fresh bread roll. Spacious little place suitable for parties from 1 or more. Great for kids - chips are fab. Staff are efficient and really helpful. Live this place and so do the locals. Totally recommend!

This is a regular haunt of mine when visiting Auchterarder (fab clothing and shoe shops). Cafe Kisa never disappoints. The cakes are home made and delicious and the tea and coffee plentiful. Always welcoming staff and a good atmosphere. Not to be missed.

Best prawn baked potato I have tasted. Large fresh salad accompaniment. Great achievement since I have eaten over 400 in the last 50 years.

Dropped in for a latish lunch after not visiting for a couple of years and we were not disappointed.I had the chicken strips (tender with a light golden batter) while my companion enjoyed her macaroni and cheese with accompanying salad.We both shared some homemade onion rings , I suggest when you visit you try them also!

This is a favourite lunch stop with a nice menu. We were just having coffee and a scone this time. We were lucky to get a table - it’s always busy. Because it’s full there’s a fine atmosphere.

First time I had been to Kisa as it came recommended by friends. I was not disappointed. Staff excel at customer service, food is fresh and the salad I had with my open tuna sandwich was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Had a quick bite to eat here with my wife, we both had the soup and sandwich combo. Great deal! Staff were very friendly and polite. Great choice on the menu. Soup was first class. As for the sandwich, full of filling and lovely fresh bread. I was too full to have a cake, which is rarely unheard of. Pot of tea for two was ample too. Have eaten here before and will definitely eat there again.

Have visited here several times in 2017 and 2018. Always found the coffee and food excellent. Great sourroubdings with good music and plenty of seating. Will certainly return if in area again.

We stopped here today, our third visit. Excellent cheery service again. Opted for pea and ham soup rather than cake this time. A good choice. Had warm ciabatta too with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and olives. Would have preferred home made bread to give more character - why do so few places make their own bread? - but it didn't really detract from the overall pleasant experience.

Lovely wee place. Excellent food, toastie was delicious, portion of onion rings was absolutely huge! Chicken fillet burger was perfect aswell.

Just home from fantastic Xmas meal with my staff. Wonderful cocktails followed by fantastic lunch. Wish the chef would come to my house on Xmas day and cook for the family! The staff are delightful and looking forward to returning soon with friends. Can’t fault it.

Had lunch here with family, for a Monday lunch it was busy, we were welcomed as we arrived, had 5 min wait for a table, service was excellent, food was superb, I can recommend the chicken and Banana toastie, an unusual combo but it was great. And it's not expensive.

We stopped here on our way to the airport. The apple and cinnamon scones and homemade apple and ginger jam were the best I’ve tasted. Worth a 3 hour trip just for those alone. The service was excellent and the cafe had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

No trip to Auchterarder is complete without at least one trip to the Cafe .The premises nestle on the High Street . You are assured of a warm welcome at this popular local eaterie .

First time visitors, what a delight. Wide choice of menu covering all tastes and very reasonably priced. Table service by friendly helpful and very efficient staff. The cafe was really clean, nice atmosphere and when the meal was served it was amazing and the side salad served with it was the best I have ever had!. Will definately pop in again

Called in on our way to play golf as we were looking for a good scottish breakfast. Restaurant looked very clean. Staff were very good and friendly. Breakfast included juice, tea or coffee, toast as well as the usual eggs, bacon, sausage etc. Excellent quality and value for under £9. Well worth a visit.
