We stopped by to pick up coffee on our way to our boat tour of the loch. The cafe itself is very cute and bright. The menu is simple with healthy breakfast options, but we had already ate at our B&B; and just needed some caffeine before heading out for the day. Coffee was fresh and hot and the staff were very nice since we were just there for take away. I wish we tried the food.

My wife and I had excellent cocoanut latte and americano coffee here one morning. Our fruit scone was excellent, crisp on the outside, crumbly on the inside and warmed up. A nice touch was a date with each coffee. The service was friendly and good.

Glen Rowan Cafe

01/09/2018: This is a lovely little cafe in a beautiful location. The service is very good and the staff are friendly. The coffee is also great, so there isn't much more to be said. An all round lovely experience!
09/09/2018: Stopped in on our drive from Portree to Inverness for some caffeine and a snack. We had a delicious mocha and a nice pot of tea. There were a variety of baked goods, but we chose the Lemon Victoria and it was yummy. The service was friendly and I liked that the cafe also had locally made jams for purchase. There's also a small children's corner and benches to sit outside. Great place to take a break!

Anderson's Restaurant

28/10/2018: Had dinner here to celebrate friends birthday. The food was very good, large portions. Service excellent.
07/09/2018: We booked on line, glad we did as it was a busy Friday night, a mix of visitors and locals it seemed. We were greeted and seated very efficiently and drinks orders taken, reasonable wine list with something for everyone. My friend ordered the pasta dish with chicken and I had the pie salad of the day. They brought us lovely fresh home made bread. My pie was delicious highland beef, mushroom in red wine, great that I had some bread left to soak up the gravy. Then for desert we both had home made ice cream, vanilla, Turkish delight and peanut butter.
