An exceptional restaurant where the food is very good, fresh and served in a very professional way. I recommend it with the greatest pleasure.

***SICKNESS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER EATING*** My wife and mother in law attended the restaurant for risotto to celebrate her birthday. Within 20 mins of leaving the restaurant they were both running to the toilet. I returned home tonight to find both either being sick or running to the toilet 4 hours later. Owner states it was 'cheeky' to ask for a partial or full refund. Was advised that all food was fresh and stored correctly. Of course it was, judging by the reviews this does not seem to be a first. Am sorry, all it takes is a mishandling or incorrectly stored ingredient to cause such a reaction. Owner was stern, unapologetic and down right rude. Wanted to constantly talk over the top. No apology, nothing. I would avoid this place, not a great experience. ***RESPONSE TO BELOW*** I asked politely to resolve the situation by getting a refund/ partial refund for the meal before I leave a review (a review was obviously going to be left either way). It was MY WIFE'S BIRTHDAY for crying out loud. Let me ask this, if a customer was in the restaurant and were not happy with the food at the time, a replacement or no charge would be offered. Greatly compensated?? Those words never came out of my mouth. Why is it that a meal was ingested, causes harm, all of a sudden is down right rude to ask for money back? As in the cost of the meal, I mean after all whatever was in it made them both throw up. How dare I ask for the money back 😂 It was only a request to rectify the situation as nobody wants to be ill after a meal. Your response below does not look professional from a business owner. Nobody was attempting bully or blackmail, I was however upset that my family members were ill from the meal they had from your restaurant. At no point did you apologise, you consistently repeated the ingredients were fresh, again I am not disputing they were not. I am disputing your claim that it was not that meal. The matter has been dealt with. My wife and mother in law woke up yesterday feeling better thankfully as it does seem as serious as first thought. How dare you suggest that I am more concerned with "compensation" than my family. This is quite a clear statement about how you value money coming into your restaurant, rather then own up to a possible miss-hap in the kitchen or whatever the reason maybe. Again, an apology (at least), partial refund or a full refund would have been the right thing to do as an apology. Any business with a decent approach to customer service would have offered. You didn't. As for claims of bullying is laughable, there is a difference between bullying and being angry that your family members are throwing up ON THEIR BIRTHDAY!!!! YOU could have tried to correct the experience. You did not. You kept the till drawer shut. Not an impressive response by yourself, my review was fair and to the point. You may think the same about yours but future customers will decide. It's ok, karma is not a b**ch, karma is a mirror. Have a great day 😊

Delicious pasta and minestrone soup!

Went here with my 2 year old son for lunch, first thing I noticed was it was £11.95 for a kids meal!!! £11.95!!! Granted it’s 3 courses but my son is 2, he hardly finishes a kids main let alone 3 courses. It would have been better if we were able to pick how many courses he wanted and the price reduced to reflect this, especially when you have to pay extra for a fruit shoot as this drink isn’t included in the kids meal, found the whole thing very bizarre and a bad start to our day. His pizza came out and it was swimming with tomato sauce. He ate a couple slice but understandably wasn’t overly keen on eating anymore, I had the pollo Pepe which was average, I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone but that being said I probably wouldn’t recommend anyone to try here if I was asked. On a positive note the interior is lovely & clean, very bright and airy with lovely attentive staff who can’t do enough for you, if it wasn’t for the staff I would have knocked a mark or two off the score. It was busy enough for lunchtime with a good buzz about the place.

Food absolutely delicious, nice place, service was great. Cocktails was very tasty.

Had Aglio Olio, soup of the day, beer, pizza and kids meal. Food was very tasty, excellent polite service, very good ambiance

Food was okay. Family of four ate here, pizza and pasta dishes ordered. Pizza was just ok. Was of a consistency that the toppings seemed moist and slid off the base. My daughter didn't finish her first slice of pizza and she is not normally a fussy eater. Mozzarella sticks starter were lacking in flavour and were far too chunky to be enjoyable. Others ordered pasta dish which was also found to be a little underwhelming. The service was good and the staff were all very pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately we felt that we wouldn't be rushing back to Eataliano's for what was a pleasant meal at best.

There for a Xmas lunch with my work colleagues

We just missed out on the festive lunch so had to choose from a la carte hence the 4 stars instead of 5 ( would have done 4.8 if I could ) as it’s a bit pricey at 20 quid for the chicken dishes . Other than that the food is amazing . The service is fabulous ( same great waiter for several years ) and it’s lovely inside . Should consider a pre theatre Xmas special as the festive lunch looked awesome and great value . Will definitely return

Excellent restaurant with excellent food and excellent staff

I had an experience with Eataliano with my fiancé yesterday. The soup was the best part of the meal, The pasta was obviously dried and not handmade or fresh. The sauce was was just a basic tomato base that could be easily whipped up at home or out of a jar. Nothing screamed restaurant quality food. The service was quite long. Meals were just that bit expensive for what you receive in quality not so much quantity, portions were good. The décor inside was spot on and the restaurant is spotless, that's what gives them the 2 stars.

Eataliano has become a favourite place to take our granddaughter for lunch every few weeks. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is scrumptious!

We had minestrone soup and home made chicken pâté wit carmalised red onion with salad and toast ( the best I have tasted ). Main meals were Chicken with peppercorn sauce and chips, highly recommend. Cajun chicken pasta amazing. I had mussels in a white wine and bread absolutely fantastic. Drinks were 2 Peronis, rose pino grigio, 2 Frangelico. No room for sweets. Spent 2 hours in the restaurant and there was no rush felt the staff went out of of there way to make it a memorable experience. For £22 per head it was outstanding, I would recommend a visit and will be back soon. Thanks so much to the waiting staff and the high quality of food from the kitchen staff. Felt like a michellan starred restaurant. I don’t normally leave reviews but felt compelled to due to the overall experience. WELL DONE EATITALIANO. Nick, Isa and Sandra

First time eating in Etalianos for my mother in law’s birthday, there were 8 of us all together. Staff were amazing. Food was amazing Service was quick and plenty time between courses. 10/10 for how welcoming everyone was and the service. We will be returning soon

Eataliano is an unusually good "chain" restaurant. Everyone really enjoyed their food, and the service was very good. Especially considering we were a table of 12 including 3 children

Excellent lunch with wide menu. Great pizzas. Seabass with salads was amazing. Fairly priced with some of their own wines to make a difference.

Booked our table online the day before ( no issues). The restaurant was very clean and staff were so friendly. The food came out relatively quickly especially as it was Saturday dinner time ! Our table had the macaroni cheese, funghi pizza,.some sides and a risotto. All of which was delicious. So fresh and hot ! Cocktails are so cheap (£7) which is a great deal if you like that ! Will definitely return

First class place. Superb seabass with salads and wide menu. All fresh with top chef and modern equipment. Professional staff. Great experience just off the motorway and worth the effort!

Stopped by for lunch with some work colleagues. Had the Chicken Milanese Burger - very nice. Pan fried to perfection, slightly crispy batter outer, chicken still moist on the inside. Slightly crispy bacon, the way I like it. Well presented, good chips. A lunch time treat.

We (my kids and I) dined in Eataliano of Friday night whilst visiting my Mum and Brother for the weekend from London. Lovely venue, great menu and an absolute winner with kids. My kids are fussy eaters and for them to say it is their “favourite restaurant” know the team are doing something right. Food was delicious, well presented and excellent portion sizes. Staff attentive and couldn’t be more helpful / patient, especially when you have kids that continuously want something. We don’t visit regularly because of where we live, but definitely on our must visit list when back in Scotland for the weekend. Thanks for another lovely evening.

The food is always amazing here. We’ve been fairly regularly for a few years now and we’re never disappointed. At busier times the service sometimes suffers a little and you can be waiting a while for drinks or the bill etc but the staff are clearly trying their best and could not be nicer

Loved my visit here with the family. Great service, lovely food and a very nice restaurant design. Highly recommend, we ate from the Special Lunch menu, £17.95 for three courses. Great value and good portions.

We were part of a large group - just over 20 that ate here - Saturday 24 June. Split into 3 tables - service and food quality was extremely high. All of our table raved about the food. Service was slick and friendly. If I lived locally would certainly eat here again and regularly. Highly recommended

Popped into this restaurant for quick lunch and was not disappointed ordered blackpudding sorry can't remember it's full name and pasta partner didn't not like the blackpudding the waitress noticed this and replaced it with soup absolutely amazing lady's thank mains were amazing again first time and wont be the last

Booked for 10 year old birthday. Familt Party of 12 Table setting was good, allowed balloons and cake provided by family. Food orders were varied. Linguine, pizza, vegetarian, burger, chicken, together with starters and children's menu. Plate servings more than adequate, and offer of doggy bag made. Downside, service was a tad slow, but put that down to variety of options ordered, but all arrived at same time, service was good and professional and knowledgeable, without being intrusive. Even offered to take photo of Table.

I am in here now... Sunday evening. It's a spacious, modern cafe style and busy. Service is pretty good. Prices medium but certainly not excessive. Good range on the menu - especially of pizzas. The quality of the food is good - no issues. It's probably the best restaurant in this area.

Great service and food was amazing too. Had the lunch menu and didn't expect to have so many Mussels in just the lunch menu. The calzone and pizza were a good portion size! Definitely would be coming back here again and definitely recommend to others!

Fantastic authentic Italian cuisine. I took my elderly mum for lunch. We had the stuffed mushrooms, carbonara and my mum opted for the fish and chips which came with amazing tartare sauce. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I always go here when I’m in Scotland. It never disappoints be it for coffee and cake or a full meal. Ps. The mussels and fries and absolutely out of this world!.

Came with a very good friend of mine to EATaliano in Hamilton to have lunch and discuss few things today . I am a pasta lover and I love good food. From the first time I tasted pasta in this place ,I said .. - OMG this is the most delicious pasta I’ve ever eating in my life ! All fresh and cooked with love by professionals (With head Chef from Italy 🇮🇹 ) 👏🏼🧑‍🍳👨‍🍳 Service is 10/10. Food is 10/10 Drinks is 10/10 . Interior is 10/10 . The menu has all you need for you “to feel Italian “ I am not a coffee lover but I really enjoy my plain americano here . Beautiful just beautiful 😍 I RECOMMEND! Will definitely come back with more friends to have a different meal . Thank you ✨🤍

Good food, good service, friendly staff

We're from the USA and have had lots of pizza, but this was some of the best pizza I've ever eaten! We were served so promptly for takeaway. The staff was welcoming and more than happy to help. Such a great place to visit.

We had a great meal in Eataliano, it was a belated birthday surprise, made really nice by the great service and fantastic food. Will visit again and recommend it to friends and family.

Very friendly service, good selection on the lunch menu, generous portions and good quality. We visited for a Wednesday lunch and the restaurant was almost full.
