Cafe 122 changed ownership last year and had a refurb, giving room for more tables, it has a warm and friendly atmosphere, become become a firm favourite for my Friday brunch treat., I wouldn't normally wait for a table if somewhere is busy, but...for brunch at 122 its worth the wait. The menu is extensive but I usually have poached eggs with avocado on rye and a large latte, or two, the home made soup is a delicious change. In the warmer weather there is seating outside, not got time to wait? You can always get a takeaway.

The best place to have your take away lunch from! Staff are very friendly and efficient.

Not unpleasant but a bit small and confined . hard wooden seating , not comfortable . had an english breakfast which actually was only half an english as there were no Hash Browns , mushrooms or black pudding . bacon small & fatty and eggs overcooked . Rather expensive at over £13- with tea . otherwise just ok . service was good . sausage nice and tea was fine but .....

I got a hot chocolate and it was very nice, the workers are very friendly.

I love this little cafe, they are friendly to dogs too. Eva and her staff seem to always manage a smile and the food and coffee is just what you hope for. I have not gone beyond coffee and a bacon sandwich but the offerings are plentiful and varied

I just moved recently to Rickmansworth and I was so happy when I finally found it Cafe Deli 122 . They have the best breakfast ever , all is home made and fresh I love it !! The stuff are so friendly you feel at home 🥰

Wie wollten in einem Café in Rickmansworth sitzen ... ( Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis). Die Auswahl war groß, wir haben uns für dieses entschieden und es war absolut die richtige Entscheidung! Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service sehr gut und wir hatten den Eindruck, dass Team versteht sich sehr gut. Klar Empfehlung!

I have been eating here on a regular basis for a few months & the food is of a very high standard & the service is excellent. I have not had to wait for long for my order to be taken & the food to be served even when the cafe has been very busy. The owner has recently changed the layout in order. to make more room for both regular & new customers. Thank you Cafe Deli 122.

Such a cute, friendly place. We came for breakfast one day and scones and tea the next. Very happy with both visits - kind, friendly staff and the place is just so lovely and welcoming. Definitely will visit next time we're in town.

Great cafe with nice food and friendly service. Reasonably priced, big breakfast for about £9, sandwiches about £5. Toasts are a real highlight. Really good. Although sausages and mushrooms could be better.

The staff are lovely and good menu choices. The place just feels very tired, it would benefit from a paint refresh to make the cafe feel brighter and more welcoming.

Had a lovely gluten free lunch here. Toasted sandwich was tasty followed by Italian canolis which were delicious. Staff were really friendly too

A quaint small cafe. Alittle cramped inside. There was outside seating. Parking I nearby marks and spensers, which was free on Sunday. The toast I had was thin but tasty and unique. The cakes looked nice. It was busy.

Yes, it's comparatively small given the wide variety of their menu, but it's a testament to the staff that it gets busy at times. We've just got home after a walk around the aquadrome and crept in for a coffee and a crêpe light-lunch ... absolutely divine and well worth hanging around for if it looks busy! Will certainly be repeating the experience!

Abhorrent. Just saw staff member feed a customer's dog by hand and then go straight to preparing a customer's sandwich. No thought to wash hands between. First and last time.

These guys are a delight to deal with every day and they make the best sandwiches in Ricki by a long way. They also put love and care into making every single one. Try the mega (meat heads) or veggie mega. Highly recommended!

This was a great find. Staff are very friendly, food is delicious. Went here with our son and granddaughter who ate visiting from Australia and they chose to breakfast there every morning of their five day stay in Rickmansworth.

Disappointed with our food. Didn't come as described had to then wait for the scrambled eggs whilst everything got cold and couldn't then eat with my friend. My friends food was described as a halloumi bake and there two tiny cubes of halloumi and it wasn't a bake! Tiny portion and charging £9!! Won't be returning there!

Short summary Atmosphere - cosy and welcoming Staff and management - super friendly and helpful. You should take their advice on what’s good because you will not regret it. Kid friendly - very friendly for kids and pet friendly too! Menu and range selection - large selection of freshly made foods with local produce to support other small businesses. I went to this place this morning.The first time since new management.I had a nice coffee.I decided to have lunch.Went back to car park.To repark,and come back to the cafe to eat.I waited 8 to 10 minutes, to be served,no one made effort! to say,sorry we will be with you soon.Waitress went outside to customer who came after me!. The other person serving,said nothing!.So I got up and walked out.Neither persons,said anything!.It was as if I was invisible!!.So I shall not go there again.!!.It was not busy either Dissgusting!. 🙁🤦‍♂️

The best cafe in Rickmansworth! The best food and great drinks, really close to the aquadrome, only a 5 min walk away! Perfect for a quick take-away and sitting by the lake. We went in on saturday grabbed a hot choc and a delicious canoli, everything is fresh and local. They do great vegan and non-dairy options too 😀 With Rickmansworth now having a costa, startbucks and a nero. I urge you to shop local and support this wonderful cafe, your tummy will thank you!!! (And with the tap shop next door why not grab a few beers for the evening too 😉)

A small friendly family run cafe. Tony makes the most amazing sandwiches and that's obvious from the clientele numbers that come in through the doors all the time. Erica's cakes and fresh dishes are to die for. Service and quality with a smile and good value for money. My boys and parents love the cafe and the fresh juices. It's closed on Mondays only.

Popped into this lovely cafe last Sunday after making a special trip to Rickmansworth to collect something that turned out a wasted journey! But our breakfast in Cafe deli 123 made up for it. Excellent coffee, very friendly service & good food. We had a full breakfast & a savoury crepe, can highly recommend, wish we lived nearer as we’d be regulars!!

Stopped here for lunch whilst cycling through town. Lovely lunch (toasties) - good selection and fantastic juices. Good service so we will be back more often.

we waited for someone to come out and serve us but the service was soooooo slow that we got up and left!

We had a coffee today here and the standard was poor. Also asked for vanilla syrup and they said they had some but did not tell us that it was sugar free which I do not like. After drinking some of the coffee I returned it and asked whether it was sugar free syrup to which they replied yes so I returned my coffee after a few sips. No apology as they said that is standard for syrups but this the first time I have encountered this and have always been told by a coffee shop if the syrup is sugar free. They also still charged for the coffee.

As always, my ordering with the lovely staff at Cafe Deli goes without a hitch. The phone is answered very, very quickly and the girls are so friendly, helpful and polite. Makes such a difference. I feel I am talking to old friends. Tell the boss you all need a pay rise ha! . A great team should be treasured as they are the first point of contact for the customers.

Just a bit of local knowledge for you: if someone in Rickmansworth tells you to go to 'Tony's', they mean Cafe Deli 122. Nobody should miss out on the sandwiches in this place. The selection is varied and delicious with different types of fresh bread to choose from. I am slowly working my way through the sandwich menu and all I've tried so far have been amazing. The coffee is also excellent. The staff are also friendy and efficient and up for a chat, which serves to create the lovely atmosphere in the café. Having been here pre and post lockdown, I can tell you that they have done a good job of sticking to socially distancing guidelines. I'd highly reccommend going here even if it's to get a takeaway sandwich and a drink: you won't be disappointed. I'm not surprised this place has 5 stars on Trip Advisor. I have been a regular here now since it was taken over. Menu is great with lots of options. I am a big fan of the ciabattas and smoothies. Tony and Erica are very friendly and welcoming.

This is a fabulous place to chill. Lovely food, including deli food, and coffee. I’ve spent many a morning sitting with friends. Tony and Erica are very friendly. Only concern is that it’s quite small inside so not always possible to find a seat. But that a problem if it’s popularity. Definitely recommend.

I went there for breakfast and thought it wasnt good value for money. I asked for scrambled egg on 2 toast and they gave me the 2 slices of toast with scrambled egg that wouldn't feed a five year old let alone a full grown man. It makes me angry because they're so quick to take your money but dont want to give you anything in return.

I dipped in to this cute joint this morning to escape the rain and was greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome. The menu of sarnies, toasties, baked potatoes and crepes is extensive. I just had a simple cheese and tomato toastie and it was very tasty. Why the good people of Rickmansworth queue up for factory made sandwiches at chain places beats me. Come here and have freshly made food and a nice bit of banter with a very proud and charismatic owner.

Called in for lunch On route to Heathrow. Good menu with loads of choice. Settled for a couple of toasties (chicken and Avocado & Ham and mustard). Both very good with great service and chat. Excellent cafe with a great deal to offer. So glad we came.

We were impressed by our first visit to this cafe deli. The menu is full of choice, perhaps overfull. We chose the chicken and avocado open sandwich which was huge, and the goats cheese salad. It was a bit of a wait but worth it. It’s clearly a owner managed business and seems well supported by the good people of Rickmansworth. Service could be a bit sharper otherwise would be a five.

Welcoming & friendly, much prefer to support local businesses for coffee than Costa or Cafe Nero. Very hot inside though.

This is a breath of fresh air and a great example of why truly local cafés are head and shoulders above the chains that dominate the rest of the world. Great food and drinks, a great atmosphere and fast becoming a little community all of its own. Incredible food and a welcoming environment. I feel lucky to have this gem around the corner from me. This is my favorite place for a cup of coffee in Rickmansworth!! The best part is the lovely staff who make this place special, they always have a smile on their face and always put one on yours. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
