An absolute gem. Went for breakfast today and had the full English. It was absolutely delicious and came very quickly. Lovely food, a really good mug of tea - just faultless. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and the service was so fast. Highly recommended. I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day!

The personnel, devoid of even the pretense of civility, flaunt their disdain with brazen racism. Their countenances, bereft of warmth, illuminate the stark contrast in treatment between patrons of varying melanin content. Upon entry, we were met not with hospitality, but with the chilling reception of ostracism. Our attempts at amiable discourse with our Glaswegian hostess were met with scornful derision, revealing the depth of their contemptuous prejudice. This once venerable bastion of gastronomy has fallen prey to the insidious grip of collectivist ideology. The new proprietors, imbued with a hostility towards those of divergent ethnic heritage, have tainted the very essence of this erstwhile beacon of culinary excellence. Our patience, stretched to its breaking point by interminable delays in both order placement and meal preparation, ultimately succumbed to the gravity of our disillusionment. I issue a solemn admonition to individuals of color: abstain from patronizing this establishment. Its waitstaff, ensconced in the venomous cloak of racial animus, epitomize the trifecta of rudeness, bigotry, and willful ignorance.

Nothing bad to say about this place, they are always so friendly & professional, the food is always cooked fresh, also the breakfast can be made Vegan friendly easy, lots to pick from... they also do incredible soups, daily made which are most of the time Vegan friendly. Plus the coffees are banging!!

Over 10 work colleagues and I attended this venue for the first time today. We all ordered a variety of breakfast off the menu all of which was amazing. The food came to our table quick, hot and well presented - not one order was wrong. Coffee was very good too - not weak and milky like some cafes. Highly recommend this place.

This cafe is rated highly on tripadvisor. I took the chance of visiting it a couple weeks ago. I can see why - it is very cosy, warm, instagram friendly and the menu has a lot of mouthwatering options! The cafe offers a place to charge your devices but this can get quite annoying if you are sitting next to it as people will come in and out right next to you. I was fortunate to not sit there. I ordered a breakfast tea and eggs benedict. Very quick service. Unfortunately the spoon that comes with the tea was dirty (ketchup?) but the tea was quickly replaced and apologies were given. The eggs benedict was very nicely presented, the egg yolks are a nice orange colour. Unfortunately the poached egg was not perfect - crunch crunch! There were egg shells still there. What a shame! I would have tried the cake to go but I didn't want the disappointment...

This is a cozy little spot to enjoy a nice English breakfast. You can tell that it's more of a local café which makes its charm. The breakfast was good. It was nothing out of the ordinary, and they have vegetarian options. The menu is quite big for such a small place. The veggies were well cooked and was the egg. The bread was good and well toasted. I felt a little pity for the waitress. She seemed alone in the lobby to take orders, clean tables and bring meals to the customers. It was around 9am and there were quite a lot of people. Nonetheless, she remained calm and composed.

Came across this cafe the other day and went in spontaneously! I was very glad to have done so. I had their Italian omelette w extra salad for chips and it was so good! There was a hefty amount of salty chorizo, fragrant pesto, and vibrant sun dried tomatoes that added some fruitiness. So simple, yet so delicious! They were pretty generous w the salad serving as well! Absolutely love. The owners were so friendly and lovely as well. I felt very happy to have visited:)) will definitely come back!

Accidentally came across this restaurant running errands in the neighborhood. Was pleasantly surprised with the excellent Coffee, fast service and the friendliness of the staff.. I now look forward to doing errands in the area of enjoying a fine breakfast. This was my third time here and definitely will be back.

Our favourite breakfast café in the area. Wonderful and friendly service, delisious food, smoothies and coffee. The café offers a variety of meals for every taste.

Most of the staff were incredibly rude!! I asked for a chocolate frappe and the new waiter asked the manager if they did this and he rudely shouted at him saying “what is that, is it on the menu?” And then while I was waiting for my coffee, I started eating a fruit pot I had in my bag and another waitress came over and said “don’t do that here” instead of nicely asking me to put it away. Lastly while drinking my coffee inside the cafe I overheard the manager talking to a waiter complaining about my table saying I was difficult to deal with.

Really lovely cafe! Me and my partner had breakfast here and the food was great. Staff are friendly. Would eat here again for sure!

We’re from the USA and we’re looking for a traditional English breakfast near our hotel. Cafe Continent was not only sunny and charming but the service and food was incredible! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive waiting to serve our every need promptly. Everything was delicious and served quickly. The bread was excellent! Highly recommended.

Its our favorite place for breakfast. The food is consistently good and the staff friendly attentive and accommodating. No complaints, truly a rare thing to be appreciated. Recommended if you're hung-over: the Mediterranean pesto omelut, granola and yogurt bowl, and of course, the coffee.

Really awesome place right near the tube station. Wanted a full English breakfast as we were passing through London for the day and it hit the spot. Great service and seemed like a good spot for locals as well.

We went in sat down, no one acknowledged us, no welcome, no offer of a menu so we left. They probably didn’t notice. Wasn’t too busy, atmosphere wasn’t there, so disappointed as we walked there for our breakfast that we were really looking forward to.

Give this place a visit if you want a great breakfast! Excellent breakfast with also pleasant atmosphere. Give english breakfast a try!

Excelente servicio y relación calidad precio. Hemos comido un par de veces ya que nos alojamos en un hotel cercano y nos vino bien para el día de la llegada y de la salida del hotel. Comida variada y en cantidad, casera y con muy buen precio para lo que es Londres. Camareras muy amables. Frecuentado por vecinos. Tiene ese punto de auténtico que cuesta encontrar en Londres. El brownie, genial.

Belle découverte avant de repartir. Situé à côté du métro, un lieu idéal afin de faire un brunch ! Beaucoup de choix et pour des prix vraiment abordables. La nourriture est très bonne et le service rapide et très sympathique. L'équipe est vraiment souriante et joviale. Avec mes amis, nous avons passé un bon moment juste avant de partir à l'aéroport.

Mi sono recata al locale per colazione. Considerando che sono italiana ho deciso di optare per qualcosa di dolce. Espresso macchiato e torta al cioccolato. Tutto ottimo, prezzi nella media e personale disponibile. Locale carino e curato. Porzioni davvero molto abbondanti, parte della torta l’ho portata in albergo perché era davvero tanta per una persona sola. Nel complesso, sono soddisfatta. Consigliato!

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning. The staff were excellent, it is not large but they quickly found us a table and provided menus. Plenty to choose from, we all went for the fried breakfast , I had the platter with a pot of breakfast tea. Both were excellent, with the eggs the way you wanted them, toast hot and already buttered and plenty of hot tea in a large pot. The food came quickly , and we all really enjoyed it. The staff were attentive and very pleasent. I would certainly go back again.

So happy to have found this great cafe on our trip in London a few years ago. It is one of the things we look forward to visiting while in\ London. The latest visit was this past October. After not being able to travel for the last two years it was so nice to see they were still open and serving great food and customer service. The breakfast here is incredible! The staff are amazing and very friendly. Our daily order was the Breakfast platter, which is basically a ‘large’ English breakfast. It was well worth the price as it is very filling and a great way to start ones day whether exploring the sites around London or spending the day shopping. We highly recommend stopping in whether you are staying in West Kensington or early Hammersmith.

Lovely coffee, lots of choice and were very accommodating when my mum group went in one morning and took over.

We were looking for a place to have brunch and were so lucky to find this place. The menu has something for everyone and all the food was delicious. The cafe is clean, bright and welcoming.

Les plats étaient bons (c’est très important pour un restaurant) mais la serveuse qui nous a servi était très agressive, pas du tout agréable. On sentait qu’elle avait un vrai problème avec nous et qu’on la dérangeait. Il y’avait la barrière de la langue mais nous avons clairement fait un effort pour notre anglais qui était mauvais. Si elle voit ce message j’espère qu’elle se remettra en question sinon il faut changer de métier madame. De la part des 4 français que vous avez servis mardi 1 novembre.

Nice atmosphere, good service, great food.

I ordered the French toast and I have to say it was the worst I've ever had. No brioche bread was used just regular sliced white bread. It lacked so much taste it was unbelievable. My friend got the full English and that wasn't good either, the sasauges were burnt and not that tasty the bacon and eggs were good though.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. We are so lucky to have Café Continente in West Kensington – everything is spot on. The food arrives amazingly quickly, on heated plates. The tables and chairs are sensible and comfortable, with indoor and outdoor seating options. There's a well-stocked magazine rack, I'm a big fan of Attitude magazine, with its celebrity news, travel features and fitness tips. I tend to always get the full English breakfast, because they do it so well! And the staff are friendly and efficient. I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars as EVERYTHING has been consistently good for so long. Don't change a thing!

After a long day on our feet visiting a trade event at nearby Olympia we popped in for a bite and a drink before leaving London. We had the all day breakfast and it was so tasty. And no skimping on the buttered toast either!...

All day breakfast and much, much, more…this is like the ‘Breakfast Club’ without the hype! You can have blue berry pancakes, eggs benedict, English breakfast, actually any combination of breakfast you desire! It’s first class, always well cooked and served helpful and pleasant staff!
