Very friendly welcome and service. Beautiful relaxing setting and spotlessly clean. Great menu with a good selection.

We have been visiting the restaurant for a long number of years and it has continued to improve its quality of food offering and also of its service

We visited for lunch and the food was lovely but the service was not good. Had to ask three times for water. Waitress also forgot sugar after being asked twice. Disappointed as this is not usually the case

Apart from the surrounds where one can browse old antiques and collectibles, this restaurant is housed amongst all the displays and has a calming ambience. On the day in question we were to have a superb lunch. The dish selected was pulled pork. Truly delicious! Desserts, too, were very recommendable.... berry crumble in particular! The service was great. The staff were attentive and cheerful. Will definitely be back.

Bit of a let down though. Full breakfast had luke warm baked beans and bacon you could snap in two. Eggs Florentine luke warm with one poached egg solid and the other as it should be. Served on cold plates. Poor value. Nice staff though.

Excellent food and even better service. This was the first breakfast visit and would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely place and I have visited a few times now. My only complaint would be the lack of vegan cakes/scones. They have a couple of savoury vegan options on the menu, including soup, but have never had any sweet vegan options on any of my visits. I’m not sure if I’ve just been unlucky or if they never have vegan cakes/scones. I was told I could buy a vegan cake from the food hall but that’s not quite the same. These days it doesn’t take much to provide a couple of vegan sweet treats, which can be enjoyed by all, not just vegans.

Always a good range of foods on the menu and varied again for the festive season. Service is very good and despite our party turning up with an extra guest, there was no hassle and we were quickly accommodated. All in all the visit was worthy of a good tip for the staff.

This place looks promising and is popular with a certain set, but the food is average and expensive and the service is slow. If you’re there on your own, the experience is even poorer. Good centre to visit though. Just eat before you go.

Enjoyed our lunch here the other day - the smoked handed chowder was LOVELY. Only downside was, as someone who wears two hearing aids, the overall noise level in the restaurant was uncomfortably loud for me.

It's always a pleasure to rest at Circa after a tirening stroll through the treasures in the shop. The menu is clear, the selection of food and drink is mouthwatering, the portions quite right for lunch, the price acceptable.

This lovely cafe is housed within the Scottish Antiques Centre, just South of Dundee. After a rummage in the many and varied antique concessions and the lovely gift shop, reward yourself with lunch or coffee and a cake, you will not be disappointed!

Very cosy, good coffee and extremely friendly and helpful staff. It was fully booked (so if you want to eat a meal bear in mind it can be busy) but they squeezed us in and didn't rush us at all.
