What a fantastic restaurant , heard so much about it but up until now had never been, one of my favs now, great atmosphere Fantastic service and good value, going back again next week. Julie G Shepperton

It was so nice to come here. The staff treat you very well, very attentive and provide water straight away and olives. The food was delicious as well. Faultless

Titillate your taste buds. The freshest of breads. With amazing olive oil. And a Mediterranean salad to start with. Great olives on the side.For mains the chef made a special ravioli dish for us. It wasn't on the menu. No effort too much. We were touched at this display of proper restaurantness. The tiramisu for our dessert was to absolutely die for. I really also wanted the special limoncello sorbet but whilst the spirit was willing the body was sensibly saying another day. A big shout out to Marcus and Christine. They understand what hospitality is all about. And the complimentary limoncello shots before we left were awesome with lovely chocolates.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and fun for couples or larger groups. The staff are helpful, friendly and courteous.

A large group of us went here on Sunday before Christmas. The food was good (as always) bur the bill was horrendous. On checking, the children’s meals had been charged at £2.50 less than an adults meal. The difference is the children’s meals we’re less than half the adult size, or less. For example:- the child’s pizza was approx 6” but only £2.50 less, we ALL felt it was a rip off' especially when the same group of us visited Zizzi in Richmond and the children’s meals were £3. We won’t be going back to Capriccios with the kids!

We popped in on the off chance after a good day out without kids, looked on TripAdvisor and wasn't disappointed! They squeezed us in and I'm glad they did.Top class staff with Top class food. We are not from the area but we will go back.Recommend!!!

Ordered for 3, 3 drinks came..... only 2 main courses... no apology....we didnt get the 3rd dish. Very disappointed

booked for 5 adults and 3 grandchildren,this was our second visit and it didnt disappoint.the service was excellent and the food was excellent,the choice of food was was very varied which was very good,as everybody tried different meals and they all liked what they ordered,they also looked after the children colouring pencils and paper which was a nice little touch so the adults could there dinners in peace ,all in all i would highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning again very soon thankyou .

We returned to visit Cafe Capriccio as it was my sister’s birthday and it’s one of her favourite restaurants. The menu offers good quality Italian food at reasonable prices, staff are always friendly, courteous and polite. Another very enjoyable experience, food quality is excellent.

Arrived looking forward to our fourth visit 29/11 7.30pm.. for a booked table for three tonight... greeted at the door by the manager who then decided the family entering behind us were to get seated immediately.. rude and preferential treatment to a more valued customer ... you knew what you did...

Carpriccio is a simple looking place, like most good restaurants. They offer really nice specials covering meat, fish and vegetarian tastes and I have found to be always excellent. For comfort food they have really good quality Italian staples of risotto, pasta and pizzas. I love the atmosphere which is always lively, sometimes noisy, but it really feels like you've stepped into Italy. Very efficient and friendly staff. I’ve visited with friends and family, as well as colleagues and business clients and always had a good experience.

My friend and her partner for the past few years have stayed in Sunbury and always head to Capriccio after their first visit was excellent. My partner and I joined them this year to celebrate her birthday and I could not recommend this restaurant enough. The atmosphere was fantastic straight from the start. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and made the evening truly magical for her and us, the guests. What really made the evening was the fantastic Italian food on offer. We had starters, mains and desserts and we were certainly not disappointed with any course that was brought out.

Great evening out on Tuesday with family. The food was delicious with great menu choices for gf as well. Really nice and friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. This was my first visit but it certainly won't be my last.

A lovely, relaxed atmosphere, and the best Tiramasu I've ever had, delicious. Able to take bookings, very helpful staff. Specials offer a good selection on top of an extensive menu.

Ate here lunchtime as member of a group of over 40. Even with such a large number the food was good and service slick. Good food for reasonable prices. Tiramisu was superb and generous portion

Excellent service staff - nice wine selection - pleasant atmosphere. It's a rather small place but very charming. I reccommend their Carbonara.

This evening we had a terrible experience here. I booked a table for 4 people for 9pm. We arrived at 9.03pm and we watched as the waiter effectively gave away our table. There was no apology or explanation we were just told to go to the bar and wait. We stood there for 10 minutes without any further acknowledgement. We then asked the waiter how long we would be waiting for and he rudely told us to talk to the manager (who had been preparing drinks the whole time without offering to get us one). He said that the tables were not ready and apparently 'our'table was for a group of 6 (we watched 3 people order). We then asked if he would call us when the table was ready so that we could wait in the pub. 45 minutes later, we got a phone call. By that time we had gone to The Flower pot, and had ordered pizza there instead. When we told him that we didn't intend on going back, he said he was happy! What a rude manager! By the way, the customer service in the Flower pot was exemplary.

The best cocktails you will find in any restaurant or bar for miles. Cafe Capriccio are by far our favourite restaurant with the friendliest staff and consistently great food, catering well for both my partner who is vegetarian and myself who enjoys the beautiful steak they prepare. Make sure you book in advance as they are so good they are always busy and you do not want to miss out.

Very welcoming staff food was amazing just seating felt a little cramped ourselfs and couple behund had to move our tablea apart to get in and out of our chairs

Friendly service, great food reasonably priced. Busy so nice atmosphere - focus on Italian staples (pizza pasta rice). Have had risotto here twice and it’s been perfectly cooked on both occasions.

Took the wife and mother here as it came recommended. It just wasn't worth our time and money. Service was very slow. I appeared that locals where served before other customers regardless of what order they entered the restaurant. Staff spent more time and effort with the locals. Drinks where slow to arrive and food even slower. Food was very average and the steak over cooked despite asking for it rare. I would also say that some of the food we ordered was cooked from frozen and not fresh. Wont be going back and don't recommend.

As it was my sisters birthday we arranged to meet her in lower Sunbury and had a very good lunch in Cafe Capriccio, we’ve been several times as it’s one of my sisters favourite restaurants.

The menu is quite poor , the service quite slow . I choose a steak, that wasn’t bad and had a good sauce. I will not recommend it

Stick to pizza or pasta. I had calamari and it was obviously from frozen. The pizzas never disappoint and they also do take away. Always very friendly and they remember you when you go back.

Used it many times never disappointed food excellent if not a Little expensive but worth the extra cost

Always a friendly welcome and good service. A good menu of classic dishes as well as specials. Also provide takeaway menu which is great for pizza but much more too. This is our local and we are never disappointed. Enjoy!

I have dined here regularly with my father for many years, and Capriccio's has always delivered great food, with great ambiance and unfailingly friendly, helpful staff. There are always a few 'Specials' on, my starter of broccoli and potato soup was exceptional, my (main menu) spaghetti gamberetti delicious. The wine is good, so are desserts! I always look forward to my next visit, so - highly recommended!

Meet up with my sister at Cafe Capriccio in Lower Sunbury for mid week lunch, we all choose from their special lunch time menu one course and a glass of house wine for £10.95.

Had a wonderful meal for Dads 87th birthday - he loved it as did we. The food was out of this world and the place was buzzing - real good feel about the place - very good service and helpful as Dad never had Italian before!! I would reccomend for Lunch or Dinner both outstanding.

I have been dining here for many years and the service us great, the food is authentic and yummy, along with some good drinks, tagged with a reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone who likes good food and decent portions.

We went here for a friend’s birthday and were not disappointed. The food selection is good without being overpowering and wine list is well selected to complement your meal. Only issue was lack of air con on a hot day!

Local contacts recommended this retaurant when I was working nearby, and I was pleased to find it. It was lively but not overcrowded, and the menu was attractive and reasonably-priced. It stands in a rather unpromising row of shops - don't be discouraged by this.

Very friendly staff, the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. We were a party of 10 and the food all came together and all fresh and hot. Have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time nowSo I decided to pop in on my own one lunch time and check it out.I had a very nice Lunch from the set menu and will be going back with the familyin the future. Small Italian restaurant with a clean modern dining area, Italian speaking staff complete the atmosphere. A nice casual, relaxed place to eat. Mainly pasta and pizza’s with other traditional mains. Not the biggest menu but enough for a few visits.

On Friday 6th October we booked a table for 8. We were greeted most cordially and shown to our table.The orders were given, some of us did not order starters but all ordered mains.The starters arrived and it wasn't until the starters were finished that about 20 minutes later the mains arrived, allowing all of us to eat together. My personal choice was lamb shank which was superb. As my wife had a broken arm she ordered a bolognese sauce but with another type of pasta which was not a problem. The whole experience was superb.I would highly recommend this restaurant.

As a family we have had a few great evenings and meals in this restaurant. The menu is limited after a few visits but lots sf pizza’s and pasta.

We have eaten here 3 times now as our treat after working at an exhibition at Kempton Park. It is always busy. The food is great, and good efficient service. I wish this was on my doorstep!

Very friendly staff and a good solid menu which is well executed. I don't usually comment on pricing but it was resfreshing to find the add ons which all too often put a sting in Italian restaurant bills were either not there at all or modestly priced. The clientele seemed local and regular, we just popped in on a flying visit. Crab ravioli starter lovely, calves liver hot the spot perfectly.Well deserving of its high Trip Advisor rating.

Meet family in Sunbury park to walk down to see the flotilla of veteran little ship that have survived from Dunkirk.My sister has eaten at Cafe Capriccio on many occasions and has always said how good the food is. We had booked a table and when we arrived were warmly welcomed to our table, we decided on a large garlic bread to share for starters which arrived and was delicious.My wife and sister opted for the chicken risotto and I choose the chefs special spaghetti without the mussels but with additional prawns.Food was delicious, nicely presented and very good value. Staff are very friendly and polite, looking forward to returning soon to sample something different on the menu.A really great lunch at a fantastic small friendly restaurant.

We called to book quite late and despite the fact that Sunbury Regata was on they still said they would try to fit us in. They called us back when someone had left and said it was fine. The food was amazing. The staff were friendly polite and attentive. The food arrived quickly but when we asked for a gap after the main course they were fine with it. They did not rush us. Thanks for a special meal and a birthday whiskey.

We had dinner here for the first time recently to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This place had been recommended by a friend and we really loved it here. Lovely staff, friendly and attentive and a great menu too with lots of options to choose from.We hope to go back again soon.

We have eaten in this small privately owned Italian restaurant many times, as we can walk there from our home in less than ten minutes. The menu and wine list are unsurprisingly fairly limited, but the quality of the fare on offer is very good indeed. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and we have never had a meal that was not both delicious and enjoyable. Good value, very tasty Italian food.

First visit here with some girlfriends, it was a Thursday evening, we had booked but the place was packed, very busy, very noisy. Not recommended for a romantic night out. The service was really good, very attentive, the food was good, not great but certainly good, a huge portion of pasta which was a little off-putting, hence a fair bit was left on the plate. The waitress did explain that we could have ordered a smaller size, which I would certainly do if I returned. One point to note, which did somewhat take the edge off the evening, there is one table, directly to the left as you enter the restaurant, you are sitting in the opening of the main door, the restaurant is busy, people go in and out constantly, arriving, leaving, smoking, and chasing children. It is a very disruptive place to sit and also cold, in fact, ruined my evening, hence the 3 stars. I would return but would insist on sitting somewhere else. I am really surprised this has not been flagged by other reviewers, very unpleasant place to sit.

Myself and my husband love this restaurant. It has a lovely feel to it. I find the staff are always friendly and provide a prompt service, even when very busy. The food is fantastic and the portion sizes are good. We love escaping here for an evening out together without the kids.

My family and I go to Cafe Capriccio very regularly and every time we do, it seems to keep getting better and better! The service is outstanding, the food delicious and all in all, "Capriccio's" is a quintessentially friendly Italian restaurant. Just to add to the plaudits, it was my Father's birthday quite recently and even gave us a free bottle of prosecco to send us on our way!Kudos to the job you're doing over there, keep it up.

I found this restaurant a couple years ago, and was apprehensive at first, as from the outside it didn't really look appealing. However I was pleasantly surprised once inside. Firstly the staff are amazing so attentive even when busy and might I add the restaurant is always almost full.. and I'm talking about during the week so booking is highly advised.The food is amazing, tasty and well presented. I cannot comment on the pizza's but the omg the mussels and risotto amazing! Oh the cheesy garlic bread is definitely worth a try. All in all I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

As we had time to kill and we hadn't had lunch we decided to try this lovely little gem on a Sunday after 3pm. Immediately loved the warm and friendly welcome we received. The staff were absolutely lovely taking time to engage my 4 year old.The food was spot on, my wife and child both opting for pizzas and I ordered the Tagliatelle della casa. Presentation was lovely as was the food, we then finished off with dessert, mine being crepe with bananas.They have a really good kids option for £8 which unlike other places offers great value.The decor of the restaurant makes you feel relaxed and if you were even a single diner you would feel at home with a book while eating.The only thing that I would request is that maybe have a basket of bread when customers order or serve it of people order a pasta.The values for 3 people came to £40 which I felt was a really good value for money.To summarize, lovely staff, great food, and great value for money. Couldn't really ask for more.

Visited with friends celebrating a birthday. This is a snug little place, tucked away in a small shopping centre. The menu is somewhat limited - no Osso Buco or Saltimbocca, but the limited choice is not so relevant when you do taste your food. The kitchen is visible from the seating area, which makes the experience more homely, My plate of Calves liver and bacon was fine, the opener of deep fried prawns was to die for!!The staff took obvious care over the food,including a delightful cheesecake which left me very satisfied. The whole atmosphere was unstuffy and very enjoyable.

A very nice small Restaurant/Café on Green Street in Sunbury. Met with a group of old football/school mates and partners. Food was excellent! This was despite the restaurant being very busy on a Wednesday evening!

Booked a meal here by chance whilst staying in Sunbury on Thames just before Christmas visiting family. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious and the service was superb. The night we went there were several Christmas parties going on and we were slightly concerned this would affect the quality of both the food and service, pleased to say it didn't and we had a very enjoyable evening. Would return to this restaurant and would highly recommend it without hesitation.

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend who had happened to come across it by accident one evening with his girlfriend & he said the food was amazing & they would definitely be going back.I hadn't heard of it before but decided to give it a go & booked it for me & 3 friends for our catch up dinner. None of us were disappointed. The food is reasonably priced, big portions & very tasty. It was very busy in there & the only down part was we had a big group waiting for a table that were practically standing on our table for a while. However this wouldn't put me off returning & have already mentioned to my husband about going as I think he would really like it too. :)

As far as food goes, this restaurant is probably the best local Sunbury on Thames eatery. The service is perfect - friendly, attentive and never intrusive. The food is consistently excellent (from a la carte to pizza), the house red is fab. Nothing to complain about. Everything to rave about. If you really pushed me, the only one thing I could criticise is the somewhat tacky decor but it's personal taste and who cares when the food is this good?

We have eaten at cafe cap many times either as a couple with children, family and with friends. Food and service is a very high standard all at a reasonable price. If your in or around sunbury and looking for an independant well run Italiano nothing else will come close

Arrived in a group of about 10 people with no notice and the very friendly staff accommodated us in terms of sitting us altogether but also organising the separate bill payments at the end of the meal.The pizza I had was delicious, and the coffee I had was also great. Will definitely be back.

I visited this restaurant for the first time this week.We were a large group celebrating a special family birthday.The owner and staff couldn't have been more friendlier and helpful. They helped with storing a cake, balloon and presents as well as putting up some decorations on our behalf. Extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, very friendly.The food was superb! Garlic bread was perfect! The pizzas were some of the best we've ever had, and the pasta was so fresh and tasted beautiful.I can't fault this place, and we will all definitely be back again!
