A very lovely café on Mill Street. Amazing atmosphere with beautiful music, very delicious food and wonderful friendly service. We‘ll definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Great little cafe with friendly and efficient service. Lots of lovely food options. We tried two of the breakfast options: quick prep and very good with perfect portion size. Good value for money. Accepts credit/debit card payments: Amex, Mastercard and Visa. Parking may be an issue, it is situated on a street with many other shops and restaurants, we had to find a side street. The cafe is also quite small - it was quite busy so we were lucky to get the last table.

Stopped in for coffee, service was friendly. Coffee was above average. Very hygienic. I appreciated that they rinsed my personal mug out with hot water before putting fresh coffee in it.

I recently had the Mediterranean breakfast at Cafe Blue Sage, and it was fantastic! The food was not only delicious but also had an authentic touch that made it stand out. The coffee was superb, complementing the breakfast perfectly. The cozy atmosphere of the shop made the experience even better. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this coffee shop for a delightful and authentic breakfast. Five stars well-deserved!

We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was delicious. We had a cross section of the menu between five of us and the food was really tasty, freshly cooked to order and lovely warm bread. Also worth a mention that the coffee was also really good. Great selection of cakes that we took away for later! It was very busy all the time we were there, well organised and really friendly. Would recommend!

Really cute little cafe that did the most beautiful Mediterranean breakfast. We ordered the mixed menemen and the suçuk menemen, which came with some pitta bread, and it was so flavourful and a really good sized portion. Service was lovely and the seating areas were small and intimate in the best way. Would definitely recommend and would come here again on the next visit. We also ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice and Turkish coffee, the latter came with a Turkish delight and once again everything tasted very fresh and well made.

I couldn't resist trying their Menemen – scrambled eggs with tomatoes, spiced garlic, and beef sausages, all served hot in a pan with warm pita bread. Simple, yet incredibly delicious! The warm welcome and top-notch service left me eager for my next visit. Café Blue Sage has won me over!

I visited this cafe with one of my friend's recommendation. I have tried mozzarella&tomato& vegetables panini and avocado&cheese&red pepper sauce panini, I loved them, they are absolutely delicious. And also menemen was one of the best I have ever had. Poğaça was crunchy and it smelled so nice. Everything was home-made. Whenever I go there, I feel happy to see friendly faces. Cafe Blue Sage became my favourite place in Cambridge.

One of the best breakfast venues in Cambridge. It’s only a small cafe but welcoming with a homely feel. We both had the Blue Sage Special Breakfast: Sucuk Turkish sausage, bulgar wheat, eggs, salad and warm pitta bread and jam. The Americano coffee was excellent. Food was quick, well-presented and good value. Will be back soon

The food is good and fairly reasonably priced compared to some other places along Mill Road. The staff member working front of house was very friendly and we were served promptly. The serving of salad could have been a bit more generous, but really that's just me nitpicking. Would definitely recommend as a place for a light spot of lunch.

If you are looking for home cooked vegetarian or vegan food, look no further. Service is friendly, just be sure to order at the counter inside before sitting! Enjoy

We went for Saturday brunch on a raw, cold December day. The welcome was very warm, and although they were very busy they coped with our dietary requirements very patiently and efficiently. The menu could be adapted so I could eat gluten free. Excellent food, freshly prepared. We will be back!

This is a lovely place for a quick bite. It’s small but they use the space so well. Perfect for couples, solo, or families. They have baked goods every day, each one yummier and more creative than the last. Their coffee is good quality and the have the option of plant-based milk. This place is perfect for an affordable vegan breakfast/lunch. 95% of the menu is vegetarian or vegan. They also have gluten free options. The owners are welcoming warm-hearted people and work so hard. The music is great. Most of the furniture is even handmade by the owner! I usually go for the Shakshouka or Mezze plate. Definitely give this place a try, a hidden gem for sure!

Most vegan places are really expensive in Cambridge so I was ecstatic to find this place. They have different baked goods everyday which are super yummy. Absolutely amazing little cafe on Mill Road. This is my go-to place for coffee or breakfast. Most of the menu is veggie. They have plenty of panini options and Turkish breakfasts, mezzes and baked goods too. I love their böreks. I recommend this place to tourists and Cambridge locals.

Stopped by for breakfast and to dodge the rain. It was a delight. The Menamen Mix with pitta was warming (both served piping hot and with a spice kick) and the Greek coffee was perfect for a slightly hungover Sunday morning. Staff were charming and attentive. Highly recommend.

Best Baklava Ever! This cafe on Mill road has been a nice surprise. I went there with my husband the other day. I cannot fault their food which took me back to my Mediterranean roots. The falafel and the borek instantly became my favourites. The coffee was probably the best I've had in Cambridge but above all the baklava was superb. It was not like those super sweet, mushy baklavas you eat in some London pastry shops but properly hand made crunchy baklava with the right amount of nuts in it. I've found the staff courteous. Blue Sage cafe will definitely be our destination on Mill road.

Delicious food! I have been this cute cafe many times and have never been dissappointed. Very friendly people , very good service and reasonable prices. My favourite food is Sucuk ( spiced garlic beef sausage) panini and they have also very good coffee too.Thank you Cafe Blue Sage !

AVOID at all cost, SCAMMING customers: I went today and ordered Panini with Salad as shown on the menu. Did not get any salad, I politely asked, if I could get Salad, he said they don't give customer Salad. When I showed the Owner the menu, he said his menu was wrong! This is the same menu outside the shop; anyone could see and decide if they come in. It is not about Salad only. The Owner was Rude and Angry, never had such a hostile answer to the basic request. I am sure I was also overcharged for Baklava, something I did not want to bring up. The quality of food is 2/10. If you want to spend your hard-earned money to get substandard food with customer service from Hell, visit this place. I would even send my worst enemy to this place. Deeply regrets spending 19 pounds on 2 panini when I could have paid 1/2 of that money to get excellent food from any of the lovely Mill Road restaurants/cafes instead of this trap.

Delicious breakfast, we had the menemen mix with feta and grilled beef sausage, very yummy! Comes with pitta bread, which we needed more of, and they gave without charge. I had mine with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, sweet and refreshing. Would definitely recommend a visit. It is a small place they have a few tables inside and some outside, but we had no trouble getting a table when we went on a sunday morning.

Excellent food, but very slow service. We had to wait 30 mins to get a table and get it disinfected. Then wait for them to take our orders, which totaled about over 45 mins to get the ball rolling. We ordered Shaukshuka with a side if beef sausage. The food came out in a timely matter. It was delicious, fresh, and bursting with flavors, so A+ for the food quality. We didn't tried there fruit juices. A must try if you're in the area, but be ready to wait for a while to get your food.

Only a rating of 4.9?? Obviously this place deserves 5 stars plus! We are locals and this place is the most authentic and lovely family owned cafe in Cambridge. Best cappuccino in town (smooth and not bitter like most places) and very fairly priced. We love the Turkish savoury and sweet pastries and the special brunch. Best cafe on Mill Rd for sure. Great for family with kids. Small place but very cozy

Amazing lunch from Café Blue Sage today. Everything is prepared fresh, so next time I'll make sure to call in advance if I'm in a hurry. It's only been the second time that I went but definitely not the last! Loved all about it and the take away packaging is extremely nice (and environmentally friendly). Highly recommend!

It's the second Covid shutdown but Blue Sage is open for takeaways. Yesterday bought some baklava pieces as a treat for the weekend - absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it.

I love the turkish coffee, the meze platter and most of their food. They also sell locally produced items like honey. It is always a real treat visiting this cafe. They ae open for takeaway during the lockdown but very disappointingly don't have a delivery option

Visited Cafe blue sage today for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised! Had the #8 panini which was delicious!!! The lady at the till was absolutely lovely and so helpful. I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re looking for a cute place to have brunch.

Little family run cafe. Amazing breakfast and fresh juice. We’ve just eaten everything at once. All are homemade and freshly prepared. We’ve eaten menemen (egg, tomato pepper) with feta. So delicious.

Brilliant cafe! Came here for lunch everyone was really lovely and we had a brilliant lunch. Incredibly vegetarian freindly, we had a falafel panini as well as a pesto one and both were delicious. Great coffee and cake as well cannot recommend the apple, carrot and walnut cake more than enough. Will definitely go again
