Cafe Biba in Perth & Kinross

We had a lovely meal here and the staff were very lovely and the food was delicious! We had dinner this time but we will definitely be back to try lunch and breakfast!

This is one of the best Cafés in Pitlochry. We have been in multiple times and it's always been great. There burgers and macaroni are both excellent. We have also been in just for a drink while waiting on friends and there smoothies and milkshakes were very nice. Would highly recommend. The staff are always very cheerful and it's alot better value for money than most other places in town.

Went here for lunch when we were visiting pitochry. Took us a while to find somewhere where we both fancied the food.. I had the special venison sausage with mash and veg and my sister had the fishcake starter. Both were excellent and we indulged in two of their amazing cakes too. Really enjoyed.

Excellent food, and served in around 10 mins from order. Staff friendly and courteous. Photos show our lunch. I had the haggis dish, my partner the goats cheese and black pudding. Good value (£10 per person) Atmosphere is hard to rank objectively but the restaurant was clean and well presented.

Excellent no-nonsense food. Delicious. Great staff. Good menu and an option to choose larger or smaller portions size.

The restaurant is very cozy and has a lovely conservatory (probably need booking). The food was delicious too. We ordered the soup of the day and chefs special’s salmon spaghetti that came with the tastiest garlic bread. Although it was quite pricey but the portion was filling. Staff were nice but could have been a little more attentive as we waited a long time to order.

We went before the tsunami wave of tourists hit the area parked around the back it was a wet day, walked inside lovely kept, clean smelling restaurant. Drinks were cold and the food was hot, service was excellent pleasant atmosphere and clean toilets

Toasty warm, and very tasty food. The pancakes are especially good. It's much easier to get a table because it's a little out of town - work the walk.

Went here with the family after a trip to Pitlochry bungee jump. We got there late and they still took us thankfully. We all ordered different meals and everyone enjoyed it.

We visited here between Christmas and New Year. It was snowing heavily outside and we popped in for lunch to escape the weather. The lady seated us very quickly and was helpful and pleasant. We sat in the main seating area and the far end next to a window so that we could see outside. The menu was really extensive and reasonably priced. I got a hot chocolate, lemonade, cheese and ham toaster and chips. My partner got a coffee and blueberry pancakes with bacon and maple sauce. The food was delicious and came quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be returning. Delightful place, good value for money, great food and friendly staff. Thank you. Would recommend.

We got a seat no problem for quick lunchtime bite en route north! The home made chicken broth was a generous helping rather salty but heartwarming with slice brown bread & butter! We will be back again one day !

I had Haggis, Tatties & Neeps for my New Year's Day lunch. It was cooked perfectly & hot on arrival. I didn't have long to wait & I had a cup of good tea with him.

Everything was absolutely great. We have had one little slip in regards to food but othwr than than all was ok.

We always use Pitlochry for a break going up to Nairn. Here at Cafe Biba you'll enjoy one of the best Scottish breakfast's. Today I choose the "Grand Slam" and it didn't disappoint at all. 👍👍👍

We had 2 small portions at it was lunchtime. ( fish &chips and Chilli) They were really nice and freshly prepared. I am glad we got the small, the normal portions must have been very satisfying !

Lovely little cafe, with delicious, well priced food. The lady who served us was super nice and chatted to us about the Enchanted Forest which is why we were in the area. She welcomed us to stay as long as we needed until our bus pickup time was. I had the burger and it was delicious and fresh mince formed in to a burger, rather than a frozen pre-made patty. Highly recommended!

Staff seemed very friendly but the food here is terrible. I genuinely felt embarrassed for the place when our two meals were delivered (Cajun chicken burger and veggie burger). To be charging nearly £16 EACH for these meals is a total joke. You’d be best off going to one of the chippy’s up the road. When we were asked how everything was, we were honest and said not good. The waitress said “I’ll let the kitchen know for future reference”. If you like over priced, frozen/microwaved food then this place is ideal for you.

Visited for quick stop on road. Three soups and 2 coffees were 25 quid.. Coffee was OK, soups were thin and flavourless and served with a mini roll that could've benefited from a toast in the oven as it was cold and not crusty as advertised. Poor show, glascwecwwrent stopping fir full lunch

Traveling back to Inverness stopped at Pitlochry for something to eat found cafe biba we both had the soup of the day which happened to be lentil soup with a crusty roll delicious homemade soup well worth a stop over for something to eat

Found this great little place by chance as our hotel was booked up for dinner and we wanted food before the Enchanted Forest. Lovely surprise, from walking through the door the staff were very friendly and helpful. Menu choices were good and we had some very tasty food indeed. I only gave 4 stars as 5 would be exceptional for me but I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Visited twice during our stay- once for lunch and another tine for dinner. Lovely little place for traditional lunches and dinners and the most reasonably priced restaurant we could find in Pitlochry! Enjoyed an egg mayo sandwich with plate of soup, and a fish and chip dinner. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially the young lad who greeted us and took us to our table - he was very courteous and polite. Great place to go for dinner before the enchanted forest event. Would thoroughly recommend!

We all had a lovely meal before we went to the Enchanted Forest on Monday 16th October. Baked potatoes were delicious. Iain scoffed all his macaroni and the others finished their cheesy nachos in time for their pancakes, which they had with ice cream. Staff were kind, friendly and professional. Service was swift and it was all very reasonably priced. We would like to come back next time we are in Pitlochry.

Made the mistake of going for a meal at this place, firstly being served from a child is odd, I know families run businesses and obviously train up their children to eventually take over but just seems rather inappropriate. Secondly the food definitely did not reflect the cost. Ordered a 12 inch pizza, the base was horrible and burnt, the topping was extremely greasy, and when picking up a piece the entire topping fell off, attempted to use a knife and fork to eat it but the overpowering taste of cheap cheese made it inedible. Also ordered a fish and chips, got about 10 chips and a burnt bit of fish, tasted overcooked l, had to pick out the soft bits. Ordered spaghetti Bolognese...........just wow.....not in a good way, but in a "how can every single thing be so bad" kind of way, spaghetti was sticky as was overcooked and mince tasted off. Considering the meal cost over £60, you would expect something more. Then when paying there was not even a "did you enjoy your meal" AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Food was ok felt like an inconvenience to 2 older female members of staff

We found this little gem on our first night and came back the night after. Food was very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. Service and staff excellent, staff also very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Only downside was on the second night we had squid starter special, it wasn't great but it didn't spoil our evening. Would come back again.

I come to the restaurant every time I visit as it’s one of the bests and the milkshakes are out the this world. The staff were very understanding of my requests for my meal. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the chips were a little too greasy for my liking

We have been in Pitlochry for 4 nights. First night hotel meal then we found Biba cafe. So for the last three nights we went there. Choice of food was very good plus specials also excellent. Staff just lovely and it has a great atmosphere...

Fantastic cafe. Great choice for vegetarians and also a good selection of gluten free. The gluten free pancakes (banana and toffee) and regular pancakes (chocolate) were both amazing, huge portions! Lovely friendly staff, will definitely be returning.

A bit disappointed with the food - lentil soup was very watery and the caramel shortcake was very hard. Wouldn't go back here but it was busy so maybe we were just unlucky.

We just went there for late lunch bites and had some nachos and fries. Fries were really good 👍🏻 can't really complain about anything 😁

Busy busy place. Lot's of room especially for a wheelchair user. Nice food and plenty of it. Dessert very tasty, saw one that was huge! Wouldn't have finished if I'd had it. Settled for apple pie instead. Definitely worth a visit

It is a lovely place to have dinner/lunch or coffee in Pitlochry. They accumulated us on adhoc request while we tried some other restaurant nearby where you need reservations.

Brilliant food especially the desserts and well priced

We stopped on the way home from Thunder in the Glen, we had the Scottish brunch, an absolute treat, with some of the best haggis and black pudding I've had in a cafe, the Coffee was first class and the staff friendly and helpful.

Home made food in a nice ambiance. We had a rice with Chili and potato with Chili. The meat is beef and the Chili taste very rich. I can really recommend this. Take note that at times the Chili was hot. They also had some...

Had a cooked Scottish breakfast the black pudding and haggis were of the very best quality. Could not believe the English guy at next table left his untouched...top tip troops, if you don't like an item swop it for another, like sausage or egg or bacon...its never a problem

Dropped in on way through on a road trip and was so glad I did.. Food was really tasty (Scottish big breakfast).. Staff were brilliant.. Excellent... Excellent... Excellent... And to top it off the back ground music was 80s themed... I was in early and by time I was leaving the place had mostly filled up, obviously a popular place..

Once again my wife and I had a beautiful meal in here. Gluten free range is good lovely atmosphere nice friendly staff in general nice little restaurant.

We visited here for our daughters 8th birthday and it was perfect! They really made a fuss of her and decorated the table. The staff were amazing and super friendly. 100% recommend the pancakes! Smoothies and cocktails are unreal!

I had one of the Specials, ha, special! Lamb burger! Quite possibly the worst burger I’ve ever seen, totally overcooked and broken up on a dry bun, no salad or cheese! £14.95! If you’re ever in Pitlochry and passing Biba, keep going!

We stopped here for pancakes last time we were in Pitlochry and they were amazing, this time we decided to take our kids here for dinner...it was disappointing to say the least. My partner and I had salmon which was reasonable apart from the top being tough and the addition of balsamic vinegar or whatever it was which ruined the taste. There were a few potatoes, a dessert spoon size portion of carrots that we think were from a tin and two small stalks of boiled broccoli...for £16.95 each we were expecting better quality of food and broccoli isn't expensive. My youngest son loves macaroni cheese but stopped eating halfway through, my eldest son had pizza which tasted quite good but he could hardly bite through the base and to be fair I could hardly cut it with the serrated knife we were given with it...which says everything. For our food, two soft drinks and two bottles of Cider we were £74.15 which just wasn't worth the price. We regularly cook salmon, broccoli and potatoes at home and to be served this and be charged that price was an insult, we won't be going back. Multiple 'local guide' reviews giving 4/5 stars which in my opinion are totally not justified...they really should just stick to making pancakes.
