Great venue for drinks and live music.

What a great venue! Really good sound in an intimate setting and lovely beer too. Fantastic Daintees gig last night - maybe the best I've seen. Martin S on top form with an amazingly precocious band. Also a bonus pair of supporting duos, Nixon Tate and Joe (I think) and Erin Hephzibah and Craig. Both excellent and well worth checking out. Erin's guest BVs on Wholly Humble Heart pushed an already powerful song to another level. I will definitely be returning to this lovely place

Great pub great beer fantastic staff ...only small gripe is the bar is way too small when the place is packed ...apart from that it's ace !!

Beer was good, service a little slow. Bar is very small but has a great selection. Worth waiting for...

Great live music venue. Very small for what we attended but intimate. 3 toilets for whole bar a bit short. Other than that. Great night. Great atmosphere.

Having played a gig here twice I can say that this venue is an aladdin's cave. The sound setup is phenomenal and Wayne is a top bloke to boot.

Compact and bijou live music venue

Brilliant space, decor is ace and always got something interesting to look at. Selection of drinks is also worth the visit, always excited to see what ales are offered when I go.

Quirky, cool, dog friendly and great staff

Always have great beer and cider on tap. We’ve sporadically attended the pub quiz a few times and that’s always great fun too. Great local place full of friendly faces.

I always enjoy a visit to the 'unique' Artisan Tap. I've been many times for live music but my recent visit was for an afternoon of excellent soul music from a group of very knowledgeable DJ's. Bar service is great from good friendly staff

Love this place. Quirky and could be somewhere in London. Haven’t been for a while so wondering where all the mirrors and paraphernalia on the wall are, more ornaments and things on the wall please. Great gig venue, went to a gig, was sold out but not too many people. Good variety of ales.

Top place for a drink on Hartshill, cool vintage chic look inside but it's not too hipster, and a comfortable place to be. Guys on the bar are all pretty decent. Good selection of drinks, particularly beer. And the cocktails here satisfy my other half which is rare so they're doing something pretty magic!

Came here in the evening for drinks and we've had food three times now. Each time, its been amazing. The burgers (smashed patties) are to die for and the nachos and chilli is sooooo good. Definerely recommend this place for its food and drinks. Hats off to the chef!

Been here a few times now, great selection of beer etc. Good atmosphere and pleasant staff. Really nice mix of clientèle, comfy seating for those who want it and nice little outside space for this who want that.

Great venue, really friendly, helpful staff. Occasionally have live music. The decor inside and out gives the place a lovely boutique boozer feel. A great selection of trad ales, craft beers, and spirits. Great atmosphere and environment in here. Beautiful in the summer too.

Quirky pub - just up my street. Had very good pints from Beartown & Bristol Beer Factory. Lots of bottles / cans / keg ales as well. Well worth a visit

Not a lot of choice, decoration is like a bomb went off in a charity shop, very hipster. Edit: never been anywhere near a wetherspoons but keep blaming me thats fine. 😘

Expensive for what you get. Go the sanctuary instead. Just to reply to the owner... Can you show me my review of Farmfoods please.. Quite a fan of Farmfoods it's good value for money. Unlike Artisan. Yes the beer is ok but you can get it cheaper. The cost of things doesnt translate into value as a business owner you should already know this. I dont mind paying the going rate as long as it's a fair price. So if you could paste my Farmfoods reply to this I would be very grateful. If not you've made yourself look a bit pathetic and silly. Have a wonderful weekend 😘
