Cafe Aroma in New Forest

Visit this clean and tidy cafe whilst on way through to Weymouth but decided to stop off in Lymington for breakfast. On entry me my wife and son was greeted by the friendly staff and with me walking with a stroller the staff soon found us a table without any hassle. Me and the wife had a breakfast and my son a vegetarian breakfast which was lovely. The cafe had toilet facilities for customers. Would definitely pop in again if in the area.

An oasis among the poncy cafes and tourist trap places in Lymington. Proper grub served efficiently at a good price. Will visit again when I'm next in town.

Food really good. My husband had mega breakfast two days running and it was MEGA beloved it My panini was crisp outside and perfect. The coronation chicken there is packed with chicken not scrappy bits like other places. Please MOVE to Somerset

Called in for a late lunch. I had the hog roast baguette and partner had the same, but in a sandwich. It was delicious. Service brilliant and staff friendly. Would definitely go again and recommend to others.

Went to Lymington for the day while on holiday and went passed this place looked at menu and it had great prices ,we went down to the quay and called in on the way back,lovely gentleman said we could sit upstairs and gave a nice view of the high st shops,we ordered three milkshakes which was well needed on a hot day,we had a veggie burger with chips and salad,a brunch and a panini tuna melt ,all we're well presented and tasted great,we cleared our plates ,we were well stuffed and would definitely call here again,thanks guys we loved your place

We had a late lunch on a busy Sunday in Lymington. It was Fathers Day and the pubs etc were very busy. We had not prebooked anywhere. We found the Cafe on the high street and they had a free table upstairs. The cafe was clean and friendly with an extensive menu. We ordered a selection including jacket potato, burger, panini and pies with chips. The food was well presented, piping hot and very tasty. Excellent vfm. Recommended when in the area.

I am a regular customer here and always enjoy a freshly cooked hot breakfast. The staff are friendly, it is clean and tidy and has a good atmosphere. Service is very efficient and hot food on hot plates is perfect.

Went with my son to buy him some food after a cycle ride. Unfortunately we had to leave at short notice to meet someone. The staff put my son's food into takeaway containers for us so that we were able to take it with us. They were so helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be going back. Also the food was great. This is a small cafe in the main shopping street in Lymington. Whilst the food is very good and very hot the atmosphere is quite noisy and the seating area quite cramped. Shame, could be so much nicer.

I have had baguettes here for lunch a number of times and all the ones I’ve had have been excellent. The hog roast is really good with cracking and apple sauce. You have to go early as they will sell out. Really worth a try.

Walked in to eat market day looking forward to a nice sit-down meal the menu looked good. The young waitress didn't know what the pie was homemade or packet,, When it came it was a microwave soggy pie almost mashed up meat the gravy had gravy granules all over the plate not mixed enough, hard peas dry frozen chips the plates were far too big that made the meal look very small in portion size. two people were both disappointed with this meal.I tried a mixed grill, oops strange mixed grill,1 small sausage 1 very cheap thin burger.no bacon which was mentioned on the menu 1 tomato grilled and 1 egg mushrooms and dry frozen chips and the same hard peas not cooked enough peas (£9.00) not worth the money at all. My sister wanted a cheeseburger and chips it looked nice but there was salad on the side with no salad cream the waitress said they run out my sister said the same real cheap thin burger not very nice at all. We all said what a waste of money.I did get £1 off when I mentioned they forgot to put bacon on my mixed grill and the guy said Sorry and told the girl to knock a pound off. Visited Tres Bon based on tripadvisor reviews. This place deserves all the positive feedback it receives. We visited for breakfast - service was efficient, food was quick and well presented and everything was really tasty. Big thumbs up 👍🏼

Warm welcome, breakfast was perfect, the service superb. Sign of a great eatery, is they way they welcome their regulars. As a gent came in, asked if he wanted his usual? As he was walked to his seat, he had his pot of tea put on the table, quickly followed by his food. Exceptional!

Shopping in Lymington, my daughter and I decided to stop for lunch. We looked at a few menus and decided this cafe had the best choice. We didn’t expect much but we were pleasantly surprised. The menu was extensive, obviously not a la crate but basic good food. The service was brilliant, so efficient , and the food was perfectly cooked and plenty of it. It was busy but everyone was served so quickly. Our coffee was with us before we had time to talk! It was lovely coffee too.If you want a really decent meal at a very reasonable price and don’t want to waste time, this is the place to go. I recommend it. It’s unusual these days to get such good service. Congratulations to the staff and owners.

I've been here many occasions. I have a notion that the place has possibly changed management and its name to Tres Bon.

We had sailed into Lymington from Poole the day before and we were looking for breakfast before preparing to depart home. We had tried other restuarants on previous trips but this was our first visit to Tres Bon - we'll definitely be back. The sign says: "best breakfast in Lymington" and it's certainly very good. We were a group of five and we were immediately welcomed and shown to a table for four, but staff were only to pleased to make into a table for six so that we had planty of room, even though the restaurant was quite busy. Service was prompt - four hungry sailors chose the inclusive breakfast with a hot drink for £7.50 and the fifth a vegetarian option, plus a few extras. Food arrived quickly - well cooked and presented and plenty to eat. Staff were friendly and attentive and there was a definite buzz about the place.

Looking for breakfast today and came across this cafe half way up the Main Street with a sign outside saying best breakfast in Lymington. We hovered outside and were just about to ask if dogs are allowed when one of the staff immediately said dogs are welcome upstairs - just lovely.

The most delicious prawn sandwiches I have ever eaten, anywhere! Couple that with friendly service and great value and you have a fantastic place to stop for breakfast, lunch or cream tea.

I ate once in here around two years ago. It was terrible and avoided it for a long time, there are so many better options in Lymington! But I have an elderly friend who had been before and liked it, so I agreed to go again. Unfortunately as I expected the food was no better, really hard to find any even vaguely healthy options and made with poor quality produce. I tried (in vain) to play safe with a bacon and egg roll and a coffee. I have had better at many a truckstop on the side of the road, it really was that bad. In addition the place is dingy, doesn't feel very clean and is just all round unpleasant. I have visited for the last time.

When you boast you are the best, I certainly will give it as try. Coffee was good. Big breakfast was ok, definitely worth the value - no poached eggs was a disappointment. But the scrambled were creamy and delicious. Overall, a good experience. Small venue, but we weren’t too crowded on a weekday morning.

Advertised as the best breakfast in Lymington but did not live up to it's own boast. Food poor and portions very small certainly not good value for money. Good table service could not make up for the poor quality of food, won't be returning plenty of other much better eateries in town

Small but busy café with tables squashed into every available space, far too many for the size of the establishment.

We were impressed that for a small establishment, there was waiter-service and the menu contained a wide range of choices, everything from lasagne to crepes, from breakfasts to curries. We only had lunchtime omelettes but these came with a jacket potato or salad, and were both delicious and substantial. The cafe was deservedly busy but the further inside the place you sit, the quieter and less crowded it would be... the photo murals of the decor were peeling a bit, and there is only one unisex. + disabled toilet, but for a convenient place to stop for a meal or a snack, this cafe had plenty of choices at reasonable prices : a veggie burger for under £4 and bacon, egg and chips for under £6, for example. If you don't want to sit and eat, there are cakes, rolls and snack food available at the counter. A pleasant and convenient place to re-fuel.

We popped in for lunch. I have a fish allergy and waitress checked re how chips cooked weather separate fryer which was no so ordered chicken and she checked without being asked with the chef who said it was cooked in fryer. Food we ordered came quickly and was generous and good quality

My wife a I visited Lymington in the UK had a good look around and did a bit of shopping and felt like a late lunch when stumbled upon the Cafe Tres Bon, what a gem of a place,brilliant service,and quality fresh food,with an extensive menu,we have been in the UK six months or so now and would rate this one of the best we have been to and we eat out a lot,the food tastes same day fresh including the salad and my wife says the chips are the best she has had, so give this place a go you won’t be disappointed with reasonable prices to go with it

I really enjoyed a standard breakfast here. The staff were very friendly and efficient and came to the table to take my order. I did not want tomatoes with my breakfast and the waiter offered me a hash brown instead which I was happy to accept.

Have been here many times before but hadn't been here for a while, came with my Father and Brother and as always the food was delicious and very reasonably priced, the staff of lovely.

You could easily walk past Aroma on Lymington High Street but we were glad that we popped in. Both the all-day brunch and bacon, egg and chips were excellent in quality, value and speed of service. What more would you want?
