Longacres is a wonderful garden centre, but the Cafe is a disaster & more of a canteen. Went there today for just coffee, around midday..& there was a queue..everything happens right at the end of the line..including the coffee & paying.

I visited this cafe on bank holiday weekend and it was extremely busy. Staff were very polite and explained there was a slight delay on ordering food. I ordered 2 Sandwiches with side salad each and a portion of chips between us. It arrived promptly and the sandwiches were packed and full of filling and the side salad was freshly tasty. Portion of chips were hot and plenty for 2 people to share. Have visited this cafe on several occasions and always find both service and food really good.

Visited here yesterday won't be back, cafe not that full told to sit at any table, ordered sausage roll with chips and salad together with prosciutto panini. Was given table alert pad eventually sausage and chips arrived had to ask for the salad,which was only lettuce and two bits of pepper, panini did not arrive, went up to ask for it three times and stopped the waiter as well, told it was on its way. When asked for it for last time after approximately 15-20 minutes it arrived slightly burnt underneath and tasteless. Watching other customers with the table alerts they all seemed to be making at least two trips to the counter to enquire about their food! System looks a shambles and staff dashing around does not make for a pleasant environment. Also there are signs on the menu and on the walls saying due to different cooking times the food may not arrive together so if you like eating in relays this is the place for you!

Really enjoyed the visit. pizza freshly made in old fashioned flame oven Cakes were delicious and coffee just right.Staff kind and friendly.Thank you

The system isn't immediately obvious - queue to be seated by a waiter. Then you go queue to order your own food?! Which is then - generally - brought to you. But to be fair, it does seem to work - very busy, but seemed quite efficient.

Ordered the Italian style ham sandwich supposedly filled with Prosciutto Cotto & Rocket, at £6.45 . What we actually got was 2 slices of supermarket bread filled with Rocket and 1 slice of processed ham which was sliced so thin you could have read a newspaper through it. This used to be a good quality cafe' serving lovely food......what happened? Will vote with our feet and not visit the cafe' again.

Visited today with my daughter ordered a panini and chips......not a complicated order...firstly the man who took the order was so miserable and hardly spoke just pointed to where I order the drinks. The food came, panini burnt one side hardly any filling, chips luke warm they had obvs just been heated up! Over priced at a cost of £15 for panini, chips and two drinks. Not a pleasant experience. I won’t be going again.

We moved to Bagshot earlier this year and have been back to the Cafe at Longacres many times - usually when we are in the mood for pizza! The pizzas are stone fires, delicious and very reasonably priced when compared to the take-away kind that come swimming in grease. The coffee and cakes are excellent too. Always a fantastic selection of treats on offer.

Visited with my mum this week, ordered a vegetable panini, chips and 2 coffees! As I didnt state the size of the coffees I got large (so large my mum couldnt lift the mug due to a muscle disease).

It is not surprising that the overall Trip Advisor score for Caffe Amore is average. It is trying to be an Italian or an Italian style eatery but fails. The bad points: I ordered Pasta Pomodoro - a simple Italian dish that is supposed to be made with a fresh tomato sauce and fresh basil.

We have been to this cafe 3 times now and each time we have been very pleased with the friendly staff excellent food and service,

I went to cafe amore expecting a reasonably priced restaurant with lite bites for lunch.

Wandering round Longacres can wear you out and so it’s always good to rest weary feet in the onsite restaurant/cafe. What I particular like about it is the fact staff never seem to change (family operated?), always have a friendly smile and seem to buzz round at 100mph (unlike staff at the majority of cafes who act as if they’d rather be elsewhere). It’s always busy but manic at weekends, which is why I guess they try to form some order by asking you to wait and be shown to a table where the waiter will put a reserved marker and hand round menus - you can then join the queue to order food (remembering your table number) and except for drinks and cakes etc, it will be brought to your table. Essentially there’s three seating areas - main/conservatory/outside. However, the main area does get noisy (and my hearing’s not the best!). Whilst tables are quickly cleared/cleaned, I do notice that floors are only cursorily swept of debris.

Always busy, smells wonderful and staff are so friendly. Pizza is amazing - thin, crispy and totally fresh. All the sweet treats are too yummy to resist.

LOVE Caffè Amore. Always go with my mum, who travels down from Warwickshire to go to the Caffè!

We visited for lunch with our daughter who is 18 months old. There is a kids menu which is not really suitable for young children which offers either 2 slices of pizza or bland pasta or a cheese and tomato sandwich. How can you charge £7 for a bowl of pesto pasta for a child?? Or £9.45 for a panini and few leaves on the side? Her pushchair was treated as an inconvenience by a rude waiter even tho the waiter who seated us said it was fine.

Having spent over £200 in the garden centre I was annoyed to be told that the two of us couldn't sit at a table for four although there were several empty fours and would have to sit in the cold annex or outside with dozens of wasps. As the tables are only inches apart anyway I couldn't see the problem. Other twos however bypassed the door warden by going in through the rear and just taking a table. Her attitude was awful a real misery. Buck up and treat people with more consideration.

Visited your Restaurant today with 6 Residents from Alaxanda Grange care home to have lunch. Dino who meat us and took us to our table and went through the menu so our residents could have small meals was amazing. We had a lovely lunch and was not rushed at all to leave. The staff come over to see if they could help us in any way 3 or 4 time and nothing was to much trouble for them. So I would like to say a Big Thank you for making our lunchtime so enjoyable. It ment a lot to our residents

Me and my wife visit the restaurant regularly, and have thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts lunches and afternoon teas.

The garden centre this is part of has developed and improved over the many years we have visited regularly but this cafe remains stuck in a time warp of poor service and dull, poorly prepared food. Usually in Surrey you can rely on a reasonable standard of food and seating/ decor to enable you to shop and then relax when you want too take a break. It's in the garden centre's best interests to encourage you to linger after all.

While we were enjoying our lunch in this restaurant, a kind soul unloaded our trolley onto the floor and walked off with the trolley. Perhaps Longacres could place some trollies in the plant area for those who cannot be bothered or where to lazy collect a trolley on their way in.

We visited here for breakfast on a not-very-busy weekend morning, which was the first surprise. Knowing how popular Longacres Garden centre is, I expected the cafe to be busier but it was to our advantage.

First Monday of the summer school holidays.

First visit for me and before you get near a table someone stops you with a choice of "inside or out?" The menu has a large amount of Italian choices. My Bolognese was a good size but lacked flavour apart from the Parmesan on top and very pale for a beef dish. We also had a jacket potato with Chilli. It was all fairly pricey.

My friend & I met today for lunch in the cafe at Bagshot Longacres & we will not be meeting there again. Food order came out out all wrong. How anyone can mess up a cheese & tomato sandwich is beyond me, but they did! When the second attempt of service arrived I was disappointed to have bread that was dry, which is probably why they put SO much butter in it which mixed all in with the grated cheese & made it mushy. I actually left a quarter of it because it made me feel sick...... & I never leave food . You got a small portion of crisps with it though!! What a bargain at £6.25.....NOT!

We have been coming to this café for many years but I have to say recently there have been some huge improvements. Today I have had one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had. Everything was beautifully presented. My husband very much enjoyed his pizza.

Working in the area and the garden centre with Cafe looked ideal location to have breakfast before starting work.

Had lunch here a few times and always found staff really friendly - especially Host who directs you to a table - nothing’s too much trouble. It can get very crowded at weekends with long counter queue which is why we go mid week - there’s still a queue at lunch time but it moves quickly and hot food is brought to your table. There are three seating areas - inside, outside and a covered area outside main dining room. Good space between tables so you don’t feel too crowded. Ok so prices are slightly higher overall compared to nearby cafes in and around Bagshot but I think it’s worth it.

I have taken residents from our local residential home Ascot Grange to this restaurant inside LongAcres and each time we have visited we are greeted with a warm smile and always helped to a table. Staff are so lovely with our residents and make them feel very welcome, which sadly isn’t always the case when visiting other venues. Staff will go out of their way to help and carry drinks over too - lovely team

Had fish and Chip lunch here on Good Friday.

We headed here early the other morning and it was very empty in the café. I liked that you were allocated a table, even though it wasn't necessary when we visited but I can see it would be handy during busier times.

Sadly this place has lost it's charm since the rebuild.It used to be easy to grab a coffee and a sandwich and with delightful fun staff. It now feels like a processing plant. To have to reserve a table for a coffee is crazy,it makes everything take ages. Just shows bigger not always better.

We visit a lot of Garden centres in the area and the cafe at LongAcres Garden Centre s really disappointing. The service is very poor and the food is of a very low quality with huge prices. Let's be realistic. The Italian gentleman is very rude. We will return to the garden centre but never ever to the cafe.

Really unimpressed. Poor food which is incredibly overpriced. We ordered, one awful pasta, a bland pizza, and a dense dry slice of cake. Love this gardening centre but will never eat at this cafe again.

This is the worst cafe I have ever visited, it’s so overpriced and the menu is so average, staff only seem competent in shaking their heads and grunting..... don’t waste your money and give this place a miss!

I brought my mum to longacres on Sunday the 14th January 2018. We spent time shopping then decided to have a little lite bite and a drink. We were luck to be seated straight away. I ordered a large and small hot chocolate , one tuna / cheese melt panini between us and a slice of gluten free sponge cake between us .

Wait to be taken to a table, then have to go to the counter to be served. If you are being showed to a table it should be waitress service, if it's self service, you should not have to wait to be showed to a table. Got to the counter to get a coffee for my husband and myself, but after seeing the price we walked out. £3.25 for ONE cappuccino, which is the most expensive coffee around, especially for a garden centre. Went down the road and paid £2.35. This coffee shop used to be much better before they extended, then made it much more expensive.

We had a quick lunch here before seeing Santa (which was great, really good value lovely Santa).

Stopped off for tea/coffee and cake one Sunday afternoon. Madly busy (lead up to Christmas) and late in the day but staff still really friendly and efficient. Three types of cake and all delicious.

Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon, waited for a table but nice to have tables assigned rather then a free for all.

The staff were more than helpful and the food was excellent. In all a good experience. The waitress was very good in offering an alternative meal without cheese with no difficulty.

My mother and I ordered pasta dishes, Viennese biscuit and Latte’s. Both pasta dishes were beautifully Home cooked and filling. All staff were friendly and the Waitress kindly changed my meal for me. We will return for more!

4 of us went to this restaurant on Wednesday afternoon. It was very busy as was the whole Garden Centre so obviously popular.

Such a great garden centre and a little disappointed on the food area. But it was a busy Sunday so that maybe why we felt pushed for time while eating. Expensive for what we ate but it did go down well.

I always call in here for a coffee or a quick lunch. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. Never disappointed with the service.

Visited on sunday 15th october 2017 with my daughter and her partner for breakfast and was left disappointed, my daughter was cold and not much on her plate considering the price and I had the vegetarian option with apparently meat free Cumberland sausage which tasted of cardboard with no flavour a spoonful of beans one tinned tomato and a tiny hash brown and two slices of toast which was slightly grilled so neither toast or bread and all tasted of half of pound of salt which I had the taste of still the next day! Mine also wasnt hot either, Considering the price ive felt ripped off and will not go back

I drove from London to have lunch with a friend (87 years young). She ordered tomato soup which was cold on arrival! They took it away and 10 minutes later it was put in front of my friend.

Called into Longacres for some plants and decided to pop into this cafe for lunch. So pleased we did. I had a fabulous, authentically prepared and cooked, pizza. A generous size for one but I managed to eat it all!! Husband chose a sausage roll which came with a very fresh salad and freshly cooked chips.

Called in during a visit to the garden centre, looking forward to for coffee and cake as part of the visit. An ordinary latte was £2.95 and the cake (one small slice) was £3.25. I just had the coffee. Won't be doing that again.

Popped in whilst shopping at the Longacres garden centre in which this cafe is situated. Never had the pizza before but it is cooked in a real wood burning oven and is very tasty. Can't say much more as that was all we had apart from a coffee!

We often visit here but..... sadly this time was not great staff were very sarcastic...... not all........ but did not impress us with their attitude. Food was not as good as usual. A bit of a shame really.....so maybe just a coffee next visit.

We were busting the Garden Centre and excitedly came across this great cafe restaurant. Good value for money but not cheap. Great Service from ?Henry? ! Will be back. You could easily stop for late breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea here on the A30 or a mile north from J3 of M3.

This is a popular Garden Centre and as such, this café is also busy. But the menu is basic really and the food at best average and not consistent ... hence one day ok, another poor. And its not the cheapest of cafes either. Don't think we will be trying anymore and will stick with Hilliers nearby.
