Fantastic atmosphere. Fantastic food. Saute pots are lovely and the gluten free sarnies are to die for. Well done to the guys and girls here. Will defo come again we where visiting from southampton for 3 days and found this little gem of a cafe. Thnk you for the lovely experiance

Fabulous and filling salads; one Pear, Goats Cheese & Walnut and the other, Chicken, Avocado and Halloumi. Lovely service, highly recommended.

This is a lovely little cafe that I have been going to for a few years. Staff make you feel so welcome and genuinely take an interest in their customers. Today was no exception as staff took time to chat to an older gentleman on his own in between taking orders. Such a simple thing to do and yet so important to take time to listen.

Milkshakes looked good however I'm a coffee lover and the mocha it is a big disappointment. At the time of our visit all the free tables were piled with dirty dishes and only 2 people working in the cafe. I felt pity for the staff.

£12.50 for a takeaway crab salad! out of the bag salad and small amount of crab. I could have made it for £3 at most

A really good breakfast with quality products and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and service is good. Everything you would want from a breakfast cafe, with really good coffee.

Great place to find to sit down, have a mountainous hot choclate and crack out the laptop. Off the highstreet so no traffic noise and only a little background music which is easily removed with headphones on a low setting. Glad to have found this place, clean and smoothly run. Also went for the Ham & Cheese Focaccia which was proper slabs of ham, not wafer thin stuff which was really good. Cheers to the team!

I had breakfast with a friend this morning. Mushrooms on toast was a delicious way to start the day. The service was excellent; we were given plenty of time to choose and there was no sense of trying to hurry us up. It’s down a side street and well worth seeking out. I will definitely go back.

We popped in for an early breakfast to catch up with colleagues. Food was of usual high standard, and pleasant friendly service. We even took sandwiches back to other staff in the office.

Millie and her staff prepared some wonderful food for a party last weekend. The sandwiches and cakes were all packaged ready for us to collect. Thank you so much for taking the burden away from us!

We have breakfast here quite often and it is always lovely, hot, on time, and done just how we like it. Service is quick and always friendly. The menu is quite varied, then you have the specials as well. Menu caters for all day dining, and then there is the wine if you want it. Usually always busy, best in Brentwood that I have tried for breakfast.

This was a glorious brunch. We had eggs Royale which was so fresh and not dripping in sauce. The eggs were poached perfectly and the salmon was delicious. A real hidden gem.

Nice breakfast in the sun! Brentwood High Street is absolutely awful in terms of offering you the chance to have breakfast outside on a nice sunny morning, this place is THE solution! Food fine, service ok, price ok, recommend if you like the sun!

we came here for breakfast ordered full english,but we got told they had sold out of sausages which wasnt a problem as the waitress offered us extra bacon.as usual the service was excellent and food the same,love coming here and will be back.

Today went with a friend to Cafe A'More and the waitress came up to our table and we ordered 2 full breakfast and 2 coffees, she asked us if we wanted mushrooms and tomato and we said yes. When she delivered the food we looked at the plate admonished because it looked too empty - it didn't have any sausages. I went into the shop and said the full English is missing the sausages and the waitress told me abruptly that there wasn't any sausages left and asked me if I wanted more bacon. Looked into the open kitchen and I saw the lady cooking a lot of sausages. To be honest I have been going to this cafe for years and never had any complaints until today. I am not sure if I wasn't given any sausage because we were paying half price, but that shouldn't make any difference because they are getting paid by the government for the other half. The barmaid doesn't keep social distancing and talks to you very closely, without a mask, so that made us uncomfortable also. I will not come back.

We have eaten here lunchtime every fortnight for a number of years. Everything on the menu is delicious and well presented. The staff really friendly and the premises spotless

This is a lovely café, well worth finding down a little side road near St. Thomas's Church. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The salads are amazing. Have been twice recently and will certainly be visiting again. Highly recommend.

Cafe A’Moore is tucked down a side street off the high street and it’s a good job as it outstrips any of the ones on the high street for quality, value and the amazing service so definitely a locals secret! There are tables outside but on a blustery October day I was glad to find a table inside despite it being busy. The menu is really varied for such a small cafe (as well as standard sandwiches and jackets, there were huge gourmet salads, paninis/ciabattas with exciting ingredients and a range of hot specials like lamb moussaka, stirfries etc...) and every meal I saw coming out from the kitchen looked delicious and really well presented. I have specific dietary needs and even though they were busy I didn’t feel at all that it was a inconvenience for them to tweek the lunch for me. In fact not only was my request received with a smile but they were so attentive over other parts of the dish which might have been problematic too. Overall it’s a lovely place for a casual lunch and with all the different things on the menu. Worth a few visits.

Although I have already reviewed Amore that was some time ago! Me and my husband regularly visit this little gem for breakfast or lunch, they always know just what we want even cutting fat off the bacon! The waitress Sue is so friendly and we feel very at home. Most of the specials they have are homemade. Give it a try you won’t regret it.

WOW 1 of the nicest places in Brentwood to eat, it really is a great the service is 10/10 to placing orders and also to collecting and waitered on!. The Staff cant do enough. Real pleasure having this cafe in Brentwood.

My family and I have been regular visitors for the past few years.

what an idiot that man seems,just because the café wasn't open when he wanted,did it not occur to him the person opening up may have been stuck in traffic,7 minutes its the end of the world.lol.i suggest he stays his side of the river. if he had got off his high horse and waited a minute he could have had a wonderful breakfast as we have had there.

We have been using Café a'Moore for over two years now to host seasonal seven-week courses for our church.

I am from Kent and over this side of the river for work for the day, so I thought I’d get some nice breakfast to start the day and this place seemed to have good reviews.

Love it. Proper Cafe! Lovely staff, decent food, fair price. what more can you say! Had the fry up, followed by cake & tea!! Was stuffed!

I have taken my friend into this cafe several times now. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent. My friend uses a wheelchair and the staff are helpful offering to assist me to get her inside they are also very patient my friend has Dementia and takes a while to order but she is never hurried even if they are busy.

Tucked away off of the High Street - this warm, friendly cafe is a real haven for those with shopping fatigue. The food is freshly prepared - quality ingredients -, served with a smile and very good value. We happened upon it this time, but have made a note to revisit next time we're in Brentwood.

Even in england it's possible to get proper coffee. Very friendly stuff and great selection of food .

Popped in for a quick coffee and some water for the dogs. The dogs got served first which was great. I sat outside and as I had the dogs with me the ladies came out and sorted my order. Lovely service. Thanks from the 3 of us.

I cannot praise this place enough, firstly, always a huge, friendly, warm welcome, served almost immediately, gluten free options available, I wouldn't go anywhere else in Brentwood for breakfast or lunch....I go at least 3 times a week !

A friendly environment, supplying good food at low prices. I have visited this cafe on numerous occasions, and if you want one of their all day breakfasts (various choices available), lunch (menu changes regularly), or a sandwich you will always get good food and great value for money.

Recently had lunch with friends the food was very nice and the staff are really friendly. It also has a nice atmosphere. They have quite a big choice of food we had jacket potatoes which we all enjoyed.

Today we decided to go to Cafe Amoore just to refresh our memory. We visited that place over 1 year ago for the first time. we sat outside as it was over 20 degree and full sun. Service was very quick. I went for Veggie breakfast he got Breakfast1. Food arrived very quickly, plate was very full and out total bill around 12 pounds only with drinks included. We will definitely come back. 2 small points that made me give 4 not 5 starts. No one check on us as all staff was inside, We were not alone outside 4 other full tables were there. Second thing is poached egg. it was not good, white should be much softer.

This place is amazing. The food is fantastic and the two ladies who run it are so friendly. They should write a book about how to run a cafe! Full range of tasty breakfast/lunch options all very reasonably priced. The breakfasts have that almost healthy feel that most cafes fall down on. Is a must visit if you're in Brentwood and need breakfast/lunch.

Back again for breakfast - twice in one week - and just as good as last time even though it was a different young lady cooking. Polite and friendly, serving the best breakfast in Brentwood.

A great place to eat, whether you are a meat eater or not. They do not do dinners, as such, but terrific jacket potatoes with lovely, varied fillings, as well as salads, sandwiches, etc. Food is served quite quickly with friendly service.

I won't go anywhere else to eat in Brentwood now, the food is superb, staff are very friendly and will cater for your specific needs! Lovely to see a family run cafe around which is doing well! I'm sure they'll be busy in the summer! See you soon girls x

I have eaten here regularly over the years, and it has changed hands several times. There is a good selection on the menu and it is usually full and has a good atmosphere but I do think it is a little on the pricey side, although not exorbitant.

I pop in here after a trip to the gym and it offers a wide range of food from hot dishes to salads. Last time I had the Halloumi & chorizo salad which was delicious but not as good as the black pudding salad I had a few weeks ago. Definitely recommended.

The staff were friendly and efficient. We went for a quick lunch before a hospital appointment nearby. The food was nice, hot, freshly cooked, the granary bread was really nice, large serving of 4 doorsteps, took two of them home for tea. It was very busy and we got the second from last table. A large group had turned up just before us, and I was worried I might be late for my appointment as we hadn't left much time, but as I asked how long our food would be they were very nice and not hassled and the lunch came very soon after. The food was good, and very reasonably priced. If I find myself in Brentwood again I will come to Cafe A'Moore again.

Very nice place for breakfasts and lunches. The food is always excellent and the waitresses very polite and friendly. Can sit outside when the weather is good.

I had the large breakfast here and thought it was just right. The bacon, sausages and thick cut bread were particularly good. I chose coffee which was just to my liking and served nice and hot. This place is so close to the Cathedral too, very nice!

Have eaten here many times and have to say the breakfasts are very good and the service is excellent. The only area that could be improved slightly would be the quality of the coffee.

I work nearby so go here quite a bit. It is fantastic. The food is excellent, prepared to order but ready quickly. The staff are brilliant, they are friendly and helpful and efficient. They do all day breakfasts which are really nice and the sandwiches etc are great too. The specials are nice and the cakes are too! It's also really reasonably priced. I've tried many other places in Brentwood for lunch and this is the best. The only drawback is that it's a bit small so it can be hard to get a table sometimes but they do take away anyway.

Very good menu - caters for all tastes. Very friendly staff. Good pricing. You won't be disappointed. Personal touches include throws if you wish to sit outside.

Went there for my first time today with my wife who goes there every week whilst shopping in Brentwood. I must say the food was excellent, well cooked and presented. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Bread and toast are from cut loaves and not thin sliced. Breakfasts are tasty and not full of grease. Main meals also looked very appetising. A very good menu. and plenty of customers which also is the sign of a good café. The café was very clean and tidy There are tables outside to sit if the weather permits or if you have a dog with you. Fleecy throws are also provided for your outside comfort. Overall my experience was very satisfied. I will definitely be back as soon as possible. Highly recommend this café. Make a point of visiting if ever you are shopping in Brentwood. You will not be disappointed.

With numerous restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, a M&S, and countless other small delis, it would be easy to completely miss Cafe A'Moore. But having eaten in most of those places, I can't think of one that has impressed me like CA'M.Don't be put off by the bland, low-rise brick building, or absence of parking; if you can be bothered to walk from the Sainsburys, you'll be pleased you lunched here. Here's why I think it is good:1. Careful. There's nothing particularly imaginative on the menu, but the care with which the food is made and presented is commendable. Sandwiches, wraps, toast, potatoes, coffees... all of it looks and tastes great.2. Excellent value.3. Staff/Service. Friendly, well-run small family business. You will its success...4. Word of mouth. Find me one person who has a bad word to say about the place. I can't. Next door is a lovely deli (Konch's Kafe) and I feel sorry for it simply because A'Moore must soak up all the custom by being that bit better.Only fault I can find is this eatery's name, which could have been given a little 'moore' thought. A pun on the road's name that conjures up irrelevant images of French romance (other than 'spending the whole day shopping', is there much Parisian about Brentwood's stay-at-home-millionaires?!) surely it could be given something a little more appropriate like 'Weljel' or 'Reem' or 'No Carbs 4 Marbs'???Of all my 5/5 reviews, this is now easily the cheapest and most consistently used.Long live A'Moore!

Always great food and friendly owners/staff.Best in Essex let alone Brentwood. Only negative is when you open front door smoke blows in from them outside.Beats anything around hands down.

Very reasonable alternative to the Pub/restaurants and Coffee shops that take up most of BrentwoodUnfortunately it is located at the Bottom End of Moore's Place which is an alleyway/service road situated between 2 hairdressers so not easily noticeable from the High Street

Cannot compare with any other place to eat lunch in Brentwood. The standard of the food and service is outstanding. Café A'Moore has a great friendly feel and you are always looked after by the staff. Once you have been here you will find yourself here all the time!

Cafe A'Moore is a hidden gem! We couldn't believe the quality of the food for the price. It's got a lovely 'family run' feel and all of the staff are great. It was lovely to see them offering young people a chance of a job and our waitress (who was working her first shift) was wonderfully polite. Forget the high street coffee chains on the high road - Cafe A'Moore tops them all!

First visit and definitely not the last. Very attentive staff, who are very polite & professional. Good range of food and all looking very fresh. Highly recommended.

Had breakfast on a Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised after visiting other Brentwood venues previously. The staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. The food was freshly cooked, reasonably priced , nicely presented and tasty. A clean and tidy establishment that has got it right, will be returning for breakfast and lunch in the near future

Had a latte and a toasted tea cake and enjoyed every bit! The staff were friendly and attentive just wish they had cupcakes/smaller cakes available.

I visited here for the first time last week with a friend. We had a lovely time. Food was spot on and staff couldn't do enough for us, all with a big smile! Only small, but that gives it a cosy feel, nice decor and relaxing atmosphereWill definitely be returning

Whenever I shop in Brentwood on Saturday's, this is the cafe of choice for cooked breakfast. They do the most wonderful potato wedges to go with the breakfast - portions are more than ample - service is efficient, friendly and welcoming. The extensive lunch menu would suit the most fussiest of pickers! Lovely!

I've been here 4/5 times now and I much prefer it to any of the other coffee shops or cafes in Brentwood. The staff genuinely beam at you when you walk in, are quick to pop over with the menu and never try to rush you. The food is very good value and always very tasty and well presented. The coffee is much nicer and less expensive than nearby establishments too. I would recommend it. Keep up the great work ladies :-) We will be back again soon!

I've been going here for a while now and it is by far the best cafe (bit like a bistro) in Brentwood. I've never had a bad meal there, all the food is so fresh and delicious! The staff are so friendly and helpful they make me feel so welcome and at home every visit with either; friends, family or alone. I cannot fault 5*

A couple of friends and I pop into this lovely cafe for a quick lunch and had such a great time we stayed most of the afternoon. We had food from the specials board, I had the liver and bacon and its was so tender yummy! My friends also said their meals were really tasty. The warm beetroot and goats cheese salad looked beautiful. The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Thank you for a great time, we will be returning very soon.

Well visited this place for the first time on Saturday afternoon and I can honestly say WOW absolutely amazed this has got to be the best place I've eaten in Brentwood I've eaten in most but a friend recommended this place as he knows I don't like greasy reheated food I like it fresh..believe me I'm a fussy eater,it's a warm and cozy little place tucked away off the high street..the homemade food was to die for its so fresh and full of flavour..you can really tell the difference in quality..the owner and staff take great care in preparing the food..the owner I believe to be Millie is such a lovely women very friendly and was always smiling same as the staff which is very welcoming also the prices for this quality of food was very impressive I've paid triple the amount for a quarter of the quality in other places.I just wish it was open during the evening as I would go there for dinner if you're a big fresh food lover like myself do not hesitate to check this place out very impressed Please keep up the hard work Millie and staff will be back very soon thanks for the lovely food :))

Every time I go here the good just keeps getting better, they now serve full meals, I had the burger! And wow!! It was massive and for only £6.50, I'd take that over a McDonald's any day!! Such lovely girls aswell, glad to see they were nice a busy but I still got a seat! Be back soon!

This little cafe is a real gem. Situated just off of the High Street in Moore's Place, it offers the most delicious breakfasts, brunches and lunches. The friendly staff work incredibly hard and it is always packed in there. Prices are very reasonable, service fast and efficient, and the atmosphere buzzing !! Get there early!

This is now a regular stop for us to take our young grandsons out for breakfast. If you are expecting gourmet food and luxury surroundings you will be disappointed. However, if you want freshly cooked basic food at a more than reasonable price served by kind and attentive staff then this is the place for you. We love it.And as another reviewer commented they even have a big sweetie jar for children. The waitress asked me quietly if my grandson would be allowed to make a choice. He was thrilled and I was impressed with this extra thoughtfulness. Keep up the good work Cafe A'Moore. We'll be back again and again.

I went here for lunch again during my lunch hour but the service was a bit slow and the prices seemed to have gone up since my last visit.

I was taken to this place by a client for breakfast, I've walked past but never gone in.The staff we're great, very friendly and big smiles on their faces.I had the breakfast and must say we very happy with it, nicely presented very nice portion size and I judge cafes by their sausages and theirs was a nice quality Cumberland.Nice proper coffee and herbal teas for my friend too and they have a reward stamp scheme too, if you don't use the stamp ask them to put it to one side for 'Tony'But beware there is a nice selection of sinful looking cakes that seem to call my name.Nice place give it a try.

Visit here regularly because of the great quality food at reasonable prices. The staff here are lovely and the service is quick.Also had them cater for a party which was lovely, well presented food and great value. More than enough to go around and many people commented on the great food.

I moved to the area 2 years ago and tried all the cafes and this is the best one. I eat there regularly and I have never had a bad meal. The service is brilliant, they know me by name, know my order, they are always friendly and the hygiene is outstanding.The cafe has recently been redecorated and looks must brighter, the furniture is in excellent condition and there is seating outside. Sometimes if you go in there in the afternoon you may see a celebrity - one afternoon Heather from Eastenders was relaxing with a coffee outside.

Went back to this amazing little cafe again after they was so welcoming and brilliant with my little boy and food was amazing just like before so now Iam a regular customer :-)

visiting relatives who live locally to this café, they took me there for lunch. l was impressed by the varied menu, good service, smiles, cleanliness and relaxed atmosphere so much nicer than the chain coffee shops. Highly recommend it and will be going back again when l next visit the area.
