Cafe 83 in Aberdeenshire

Fantastic place to go for both lunch and dinner. Lots of great choice including vegan options. Staff are very lovely, accommodating and go above and beyond for you. Food was outstanding and very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend

The manager is the nicest person I have ever met in my life, I like his name. Good food and lovely drinks. Good place, could use more children's entertainment other than that its perfect. Cookie pie should get 5000 stars. Cameron, almost 8

Fantastic wee café in Kenmay. The server was very friendly and went above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious and competitively priced. The atmosphere in the cafe was decent and they had some bangers playing from the sound system. Highly recommend a visit

Amazing in every way, highly recommended

Really friendly, helpful people here. Great selection of food, varied and interesting. Really enjoyed my open sandwich, others had toasties and they looked excellent. Generous portion sizes so best not to order too much at once - service was very quick so I'm sure if you're hungry you will not have too long to wait for more. I'd recommend this cafe for the food and the friendly people. Well done everyone at Cafe 83, hope to be back soon. Sorry no photos you'd time, started eating straight away.

Lovely wee place with a good atmosphere, friendly staff and good food

Found by chance as other cafe we were cycling to was closed and it really blew us away with the food options and service (cyclist friendly with a safe place for the bikes). Highly recommend and we'll certainly be back!

Went there for lunch Tuesday three of us everything we had was cooked to perfection, the service was top notch a great place to go who would have thought kemnay had a diamond like this.

This is the second visit to this establishment, and again the food is first rate, beautifully presented and hot The staff are well mannered, very polite, and highly efficient The toilets are first rate, and cleaned and equipped to a high standard This is a gem, a little oasis that is welcoming, a lovely little place to enjoy your meal and relax Well worth a visit

Lovely meal with old friends, I had fish and chips it was amazing. My husband loved the burger. The meal was at a high standard comparable to high end meals I’ve had in the west end that cost a third more. A little gem well worth the visit

Was here with my sister last week, we had breakfast one day and lunch another day. Food was delicious and plentiful.staff were amazing, and food was really quick to arrive. Could not fault it will definitely be back. Thank you 10/10

They have a winter special menu. I tried just the dessert 🍨 Apple crumble analaise with ice cream and it was simply amazing. Loved the presentation and preparation. Would visit again.

Met with friends for the most amazing Xmas Afternoon Tea. Would thoroughly recommend it. Great atmosphere too and the young girl serving us was so nice. Nice and relaxing and didn't feel rushed at all. Well done all at Cafe 83.

We haven't been here in a few years so wasn't sure it would still be as good as before but it was amazing as always. Very friendly, attentive staff and the food was amazing. Having recently found out I can't have dairy or wheat I was worried there wouldn't be much for me but thankfully they were able cater to my food allergies and I left with a nice full stomach. Very happy. Have to add that the prices were very reasonable and I would go back any day of the week.

Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely place. We arrived half a hour before closing so were a little worried that the kitchen would be closed. The staff double checked and told us we were fine to get some cooked food. Food was lovely and fairly priced too. Good selection of hot food and cakes on offer Cafe was clean and very well presented. Had a relaxed and welcoming feel. Will definitely visit again when I’m the area

We had lunch yesterday and it was superb so decided to have breakfast here today. It was a taste sensation, Cinnamon french toast was the best I've ever had. Really lovely cafe, great service and relaxing atmosphere.

Can't say its the best! We visited early afternoon just had coffee and my g f had a slice of cake she said it tasted greasey I had a scone it was pretty poor. I was charged nearly 12.00 pounds I bake myself and know I can turn out better stuff. Next time I'll give it a miss.

I wanted to support local business as I also work in Kemnay.I ordered 2 sandwiches to takeaway; a Chicken Club and a Philly Cheese Steak. Waited 30 minutes for them (despite there only being 2 tables in).My colleague said the Chicken Club was "Okay" however, my Philly Cheese Steak was awful. I wasn't asked how I wanted my steak cooked (and unless asked, steak should be cooked well done to be on the safe side). My steak was blue-rare. Being pregnant and having to avoid under-cooked meat, to find the steak cold in the middle was rather appalling (see photo attached).Would have paid £11.00 to not eat it. Won't be visiting here again.

Ordered them a few times now, always on time, foods always hot and fresh, for delivery they still take a bit of pride in presentation. The Cafe 83 double up breakfast is probably the best thing you'll put in your mouth this year, epic hangover cure or easily feeds the lazy sunday morning couple. Had ordered a steak sandwich too, breads made in house and honestly I'd of paid the £5.95 just for it, AMAZING, the fact that you literally get a tower of medium rare cooked fillet steak sliced and stacked in the bum with an ample compliment of sweet onion relish and cheese, a must have for meat lovers! Thanks again for the great service and even better food guys!

Best food I've had in a long, long time and my goodness, there was plenty of it. I'd say we go at least twice a month now and that's only because of having some semblance of self control. Try the special weekend boxes, excellent value

Visited cafe 83 today first time and it will not be the last. I had lovely yellow pea soup delicious. My husband had black pudding and fried egg in a bun so enjoyable. They have extensive menu lovely clean and very friendly. Would definitely recommend

Love the fact it is in the village and opens really early. Coffee and a cheese scone are my norm.... along with a second coffee! Loaf cakes are really yummy, along with the soups. A regular meeting point

Going to Cafe 83*is like a spirtual pilgramiage for me. A Saturday morning ritual for physical sustaince becomes a socially positive endeavours. Coffee becomes like a stimulant handed down from Mount Olympus served by Athena. A morning roll with sausages is like a offering worthy to be made to Freya.....

Popped in for the first time during a cycle ride, very welcoming lady. Had coffee and Eggs Benedict both excellent was almost tempted by the cakes but will return another time.

Très bon restaurant ds petit village

My wife and I went for breakfast after hearing good feedback of the cafe. First impressions as we entered were good, and staff were friendly and polite. I opted for the full breakfast and my wife had the scrambled eggs on toast. My wife said hers was lovely however i was not so impressed as my sausage and tomato were only lukewarm and my mushrooms were still raw in the middle and not properly cooked. The bacon, black pudding and beans were lovely and have no issue with them. Our coffee was lovely also. Yes I could have complained and had my breakfast heated/cooked again but we were in a bit of a rush and didn't have too much time to spend there. The chef had absolutely no excuse for this as there was no one else eating in the cafe, just some people who were just having coffee/tea only, so I don't think i will be venturing back anytime soon. Maybe 3/average is too low a score but it certainly wasn't a 4/Very Good

Always a great atmosphere coming into cafe 83, fantastic addition to Kemnay! Loved the fact they’ve teamed up with other local bakers to sell local produce. Have been for breakfast, lunch, cakes and tapas here now. Tapas only runs Thursday-Saturday so booking is usually essential.

What a lovely place, warm welcome and a good selection on the menu. The sweet potato and pepper soup was excellent followed with a lovely hot latte and a slice of banana and raspberry iced cake. YUM. Well worth a visit

A really welcoming cafe. Clean and tidy with good service but more importantly great food, large portions. Twelve out of ten for the coffee and walnut cake. Hope to come again soon

Lovely cafe/bistro in Kemnay, perfect for an informal dinner. Have been for dinner a few times now, tried different menu selections (burgers, chilli, chicken kebabs, sharing platters, tapas) - absolutely everything has been fantastic.

Cosy café, it was almost full for Saturday evening tape but didn't seem busy or crowded. The tapas was delicious and well priced. Staff were engaging and helpful. Definitely be returning.

When I asked regarding the disabled access he said there was no requirement. Won’t be back, won’t be recommending!
