Absolutely brilliant 5 star museum and a huge credit to the staff that maintain the facility ….. easily spend all day there and all the vehicles have been lovingly restored and brought back to mint condition … very educational and informative However went to get lunch and the cafe is 3 star at best …. Enderd up eating a sausage roll and was lucky to get that ….really needs a quality restaurant that matches the overall quality of the museum …

Took a while to get too (we travelled two hours from Gloucester) but was easy to find. There's loads of parking spaces and a karting area track outside. We went to the cafe first and it was spacious and clean. We got Cornish pasties which were delicious and there's lots of drinks and other snacks which were reasonably priced. The museum itself is amazing but you really have to be into cars, big time, to find it interesting. We loved it!

Great variety of motors. Able to see most from all angles and close up - not roped off which is brill. Perhaps a little pricey although your ticket gets you free entry for a year. You can order tickets online before the day in order to save 10%, which I foolishly forgot to do. You’ll be able to spend a good few hours here if you’re into motors, so a good day out for the family. There are some interactive elements, a LEGO area, plus an outdoor play area. The gift shop has a wide range of products. I purchased the diary, a 7 in 1 pen, a cap, and some sweet treats - pleased with all purchases. I definitely recommend this museum.

Haynes Museum continues to update its content meaning that there is always something new to see. Since Covid there was a new Williams F1 display with several cars telling the Williams stories as well as interactive displays and a large screen cinema showcasing the story of Williams from the beginning until the takeover in 2022. The film features interviews by Frank Williams, Patrick Head and others. It doesn't hold back about Frank's early Very fast but not very successful racing career and early frequent crashes! The very latest display is the history of motorcycling form motorised bicycles until the modern day. There is an interesting interactive display featuring a film with riders POV together with a vibrating seat and a hot patch in the middle. not sure if that represented the engine or was a malfunctioning display! Very effective. The rest of the displays feature a wide range of motorcars from the road and track. We think it is possible to now get closer to the cars than when we visited several years ago. Cant forget the famous Red Room, which is a display of all Red cars and a large contingent of American cars. Last but not least a fantastic Children's play area and there is also an opportunity for the smallest visitors to drive round the museum in a 'Little Tikes' car meaning they wont get bored after seeing too many cars! Loads to see, regular events and a Go Kart Track outside, what not to like. They have it all covered and the ticket lasts for 12 months.

Another visit for meet up with friend. Good News now POD POINT EV CHARGERS on site. 4 chargers 🔌 8 charge points. Follow the signs down the side of the museum. Another charger for Disabled parking on the front near the door. Visited yesterday, first week post LOCK DOWN opening. Firstly a ‘shout out’ for the cleanliness of the entire museum, the very friendly staff at reception and in the ‘truly splendid’ Cafe. Excellent COVID 19 measures in place, regarding social distancing, mask wearing and direction signage. New Williams exhibition very interesting and all other areas familiar and worthy of many a re-visit. Such memories. As usual my only ‘negative but constructive’ comment being it’s a static display. Wonderful array of many many cars, but most ‘always’ in the same place. Great place to ‘drop off’ the A303 to meet friends or merely have a break on a journey and a coffee. Another visit. For years we viewed this as in ideal halfway pit-stop on our journeys back and forth between Kent and Devon/Cornwall. We could rely on brunch type meal, a wander round whatever is on display, clean and useful facilities and a chance to collect some gifts for our grandchildren. Unfortunately our recent visit left us rather disappointed as the choice of refreshments was very limited, about the same as any corner shop 🙁🙁🙁 I do hope it gets back to its usual standards.

Really great place, so many cars. My teenage son is passionate about cars so today he and two of his friends spent over two hours here oggling every car. I'd seen enough after the Delorean, Lamborghini Countach and Schumacher's first ever Ferrari F1 car. I didn't need the other 400 cars! The staff at the front desk were great. I'm just slightly worried that the museum is going down the path of "by the grandads, for the grandads". The volunteers in the show rooms were vastly knowledgeable but at a level of nerdiness that only a special kind of enthusiast can relate to. I want to step inside a vehicle, smell the engine, grip the wheel, and not necessarily have a debate about variable valve timing 😁. For many, the love of cars is emotional not technical. Worth remembering.

We only managed to get round about half of the display but we knew the ticket would gain us re-entry for the next 12 months. The number of cars in very impressive and with just enough information about each. Areas for improvement would be firstly, that opening more of the car windows would be helpful as it’s difficult to see inside many because they have dark interiors and the lights reflect off the windows. Secondly, in the cafe the size of the cake portions are very poor compared to the cost, not good value at all. We will be going back again to finish looking at the rest of the cars but not using the cafe to eat.

One huge area dedicated to simply red cars. Museum very clean & tidy. Informative boards on walls & in front of cars. Really interesting. Mock garage set up with petrol pumps etc. Formula one, American, James Bond, convertibles, jeeps, Ferrari. Children could trace some cars from brass stamps. Food available. Eating inside or out. No dogs allowed unfortunately inside. Only criticism was promoted as dog friendly & gave impression that there was lots to do outside. This was a little misleading as only 5 cars outside. We therefore took it in turns.

Visited last week for the first time and really enjoyed it. My car obsessed son was very impressed! Great display of cars that you can go right up close to (they are very trusting of their visitors!). Classic cars, super cars, F1, American and a small collection of classic motorbikes. There are stencil stations all around different groups of cars for children to do along the way and they leave the little tyke cars around for the little ones to ride in around the museum (again, very trusting!). There is a great play area which my children played in for a long time. Big cafe, good coffee and sandwiches but limited food options - sandwiches and pastries. Kids got a lunch box meal which had good snacks in. The price is quite high but it is an annual pass, so we will definitely visit again.

Having stopped at the Farm Shop further along, we have found this to be very busy, expensive and facilities not clean.
