Stunning views and food was delicious.

Meat eater heaven, plus veggie options. Outdoor seating only. reasonably priced. great for a short stop and lunch/snack. Jacket potatoes are good value. Toilets available round the back.

What can I say about this place? I've been buying food from here since it was a van in a layby. The reason I keep coming back is the burgers are simply top notch.

Love this place & if they were able to have indoor seating It would be an amazing attraction to Caerphilly...Perfect after a lovely mountain walk..

Myself and my partner visted visted recently and ordered are usual we come here very often and have done for a very long time but I've watchrd this place rapidly decline over the last 2 years i given it the odd chance every 2 to 3 months but after this visit i don't think ill ever return So we arrived and ordered asking for my partners to be well done reaffirmed with server and unsured the cook to ensure its well done wait for order no issues only person there took 10 minutes but no issue I wait patiently because I understand the well done takes some time but he cooked the steak for far to little time no more than 2 minutes after he got the rest of order done I get handed the order ask again knowing there's no way its well done but giving benefit of the doubt sit in car check steak shocking rare take it back inside ask for it to be flashed and cooked throughly please as my partner is pregnant and the man's response "that's how I have it " that is well done " mind you still pink not close to medium in the slightest I choose to bite my tongue and wait patiently as I have a cool head but this guy just won't let it go making comments laughing it up with his colleague making sly jabs so after 10 minutes after enduring this awful encounter I go back to my car to give my partners her food there was no apology as she had already already ate some I'm just glad this was a good experience for your staff and they had a nice giggle to themselves right in front of me

Well, this is a place I've passed many times never realising what it is. Today, my oldest took me inside for food. WOW, I'm shocked and amazed at the same time. The selection of fast food choices is impressive. I enjoyed a mixed grill roll totally stuffed with meat beautifully cooked tender and delicious. My boy had a mega burger combo, which he devoured. It's like American fast food meets Wales. Whoever owns this place has combined the two beautifully. Quick efficient service of top quality fast food. If your ever anywhere near, I highly recommend you pop in and try something. You won't be disappointed

Great food, especially grills and ice cream. Would definitely recommend the Mountain Burger and the Minted Lamb roll. Awesome food served by friendly staff who get stuck in to get you served quickly and efficiently. Well worth a visit. Their icecream is awesome too, but unfortunately they don't serve it until April.

Good food, there was Chinese sause in the cheese burger so must not have been cleaned before cooking the burger

Hubby had Mixed Grill in a roll and chips and cup of tea he said it was the hottest cuppa he's ever had and mixed grill was huge. I had the chicken and stuffing with a pot of Gravy food was lovely cooked freshly in front of us place was really busy but the staff were quickly getting through the orders.

Cold chips, hardly warmed up cheap burgers and sausages , my order was wrong chucked most of it in the bin. Burger van in B&Q car park twice as nice and about half the price.

Staff look a bit miserable. Asked for 3 white coffees and a black coffee. Got 3 black coffees and a white.

I didn't have food there but I had a coffee and sat on the benches around the back of the building. They're slightly under cover and have a lovely view. Staff were very kind and accommodating. There's also free toilets around the back if anyone needs them. It's surrounded by a few beautiful walks.

Great place to get food, if your looking for a hangover cure- it's definitely the place to go. Or even just a meal. Always recommend this place when friends ask where to go for food!

Literally the best place in Caerphilly. Staff are always great. Plenty of benches to sit & eat if the weather is up to it, plenty of parking if the weather is questionable, it’s always more fun to sit in the car & tackle the burgers anyway. Toilets are always clean. The food is the best; piping hot every time & so delicious. The hash browns are top notch. Don’t know why they are so good but they are an essential on every visit. The minted lamb sub roll is probably my favourite but also shout outs for the mixed grill sub roll, the double bacon cheeseburger & the mountain monster is of course legendary

Was absolutely mental how big the queue was, had to stand there in the rain! in the end i was as wet as porth baz swimming pool.

Go served here by an absolute pig of a boy at about 11.30 today. Got the order wrong of the customer before me, then once it was brought to attention his attitude with the customer was shocking. After the customer left he continued his ranting about her to other employees behind her back. Disgrace of a place. All meats precooked and kept in a warmer, why not cook fresh! Food way overpriced, service is disgusting and slow. So overrated. Will never return

Food simply takes too long to arrive. Staff more interested in talking and too much emphasis on Just Eat and other deliveries

Chicken and stuffing awful and warm gravy was tastless, chips were warm. Bacon burger was nice. Place is infested with wasps. Bins are neglected and overflowing and wasps love that. We asked for the fat to be cut off the bacon wrap and was not done. Service is absolutely shambolic and the cafe needs sorting out!! People all standing in the cafe in exstremly stifling hot conditions when the cafe seems to have sliding patio doors!!! Ffs please sort this chaos out for all the customers sake!!!

It was very busy but the staff kept the queue moving and were incredibly pleasant. Food was nice and good value for money.

I always stop off here whenever in the area. The food is usually fantastic but on this occasion my steak wasn't cooked as requested. (I'm not leaving a negative review just because of one instance). I will be back soon enough to enjoy the fantastic food once again.

Not what we expected, fast, cheap and cheerful. Very popular, expect people parking where they want, not where they should park. A nice view if the weather holds out, but as stated if you want something quick, it will suit you. Done it once, won't try it again. Dine in is a picnic table outside

Great food, good service and reasonable prices. Only slight issue was the prices (on most items) on the outside lists where you queue up have been removed, so wasn't sure how much we were being charged until we got to the till. Prefer to know in advance how much items are likely to be.

We stopped there to grab an ice cream we were both really hot in the car . It quite busy up there the car park was great .. after our ice creams we came bak home

It's a really good place for sandwiches. Honestly, it's one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. The lamb wasn't too tough, and the mint helped with flavour.

Massive burgers and great atmosphere will be coming again next time passing Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.

What an amazing place!! Take away snack bar in the middle of nowhere with a big car park and a huge amount of customers!!! I think this alone speaks volumes. The food was amazing and cooked fresh to order, the staff were knowledgeable, extremely efficient and polite. Despite being extremely busy each one looked very clean and tidy in their uniform. Each item of food although takeaway was wrapped in recyclable packaging. To the side was also an unexpected but equally as amazing ice-cream counter selling about 23 different flavours of ice-cream. There were also wooden picnic benches and small covered cabins outside to eat at if required. The views were good too. With no hesitation I would go back again.

I was a bit disappointed to be honest. I had hoped to get a good veggie breakfast, but they only have glorified sandwiches - everything in bread rolls. Their only redeeming feature is that they have wraps, but a few beans one egg and some mushrooms was no substitute. Also, there's no inside seating at all, which is puzzling to say the least, especially considering that this is on a Welsh mountain top and as usual was also cold, wet and windy. Why they need such a huge kitchen and counter area when not doing proper meals I really don't know.

When visiting the Snack Bar was extremely busy with people queuing around the building. The food itself was well worth the wait.

So gross! The man scooping the ice cream was touching the ice cream with his fingers trying to force it to stick to the cone without gloves on! Then the ice cream was also overpriced for a tiny portion.

Food is unreal and really enjoyable We went with the mixed grill sub and as you can see from the photo is simply outstanding they do a variety of sauces so don't be afraid to get one or two sauces on your sub They also do slushy for the kids if it's a warm day my kids took that option straight away For the money you really can't go wrong it absolutely knocks spots off McDonald's

I grew up eating here as a kid and it is just as good as it was ten years ago! The perfect meal after a nice walk up caerphilly mountain! The bacon bap is a can’t miss menu item and the portions are enormous. We tried out their welsh cake and cherry Bakewell ice cream too, also delcious!

Nice drive up the mountain, and the food is spectacular. Cheaper than fast food and fills u for the day
