We had a delicious meal today with our 3 year old. Wonderful, friendly service and delicious food. Great, friendly service and amazing food. We each had a pizza and homemade ice cream, with vegan cheese and ice cream, which delighted my dairy free family. Thank you!

What a lovely spot !! i was lucky enough to dine here at the end of the summer after seeing a review on google. truly lovely Pizza's and a wonderful outlook of the green fields and river. dog friendly and hosted by Will who was accommodating and helpful in recommending other local eateries too. will 100% be back next time im in the area.

If you are anywhere near this place chances are it’s the best pizza you’ll find for many many miles, this is the real deal! Firstly the building is cool, with nice views, very friendly staff and dog friendly downstairs (they even gave our boy a pigs ear)! I own a mobile pizza business and can say this pizza is really strong, delicious and they best you’ll find by far in the area. If you are anywhere near here you have no excuse not to stop by!

Stopped here more out of convenience and was completely surprised to enjoy some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. The view isn't bad either

A diamond in the rough. They recommend booking but ten of us showed up after a long day of touring the Welsh countryside on a Saturday evening and they accommodated us. The pizzas and appetizers are amazing and the gluten free eater in the group says the gluten-free pizza dough is the best they'd ever had.

Went there for my 64th Birthday with my wife, her parents, our children and grandchildren, lovely freshly made pizzas and various drinks. Lovely view out (upstairs). First time going, will definitely go again.

Amazing pizza, friendly staff and absolutely incredible views

This place is awesome for vegans, 3/4 starters are vegan - sourdough/olive oil and smoked almonds are delicious. Sourdough pizzas are incredible, plus the cheese can be swapped out for a vegan alternative for free! Don't skip pudding, both vegan ice creams are up there with the best I've had, mix the dark chocolate sea salt and toffee together and it tastes just like a rolo! Will and his team were helpful and welcoming, and to top it off, the view is stunning! I'd recommend booking well in advance as they seem to be fully booked quite often!

We become aware of the restaurant after a friend visited and recommended. It’s about 20 mins outside of Barmouth town but well worth the trip. If you get seated upstairs the views of the mountains are incredible! The restaurant is beautiful and simple. It has a family business feel. There are daily specials and the menu is extensive and also child friendly. The big draw for us is myself and my husband are lactose intolerant, but the menu acommodates for vegan cheese on any pizza and also has 2 flavours of vegan icecream. The caramel flavour is probably the best vegan icecream i’ve had. I’d love to know their vegan cheese supplied as it’s the best vegan cheese we’ve ever had on a pizza! This place is perfect for a family or a couples meal. They are also fully licensed for alcohol. When i come back to the area again i will be sure to make a visit!

Busy place, good service and great pizza!

Amazing view with an amazing pizza. Thankful to get this experience in Wales and fall in love with a pizza flavor that I didn’t try before: Tartufo! If you love garlic and mushrooms, totally go for it! I recommend booking it in advance as you can have the unfortunate surprise that they are closed for walk-in and take away!

We went there after our daughter's wedding, just 4 adults and a 5 year old. My wife has trouble walking up stairs and was surprised that the dining room was upstairs without any lift, but she managed it. The child's menu is the same as the adults just smaller pizzas, NOT very child friendly. The adults pizzas weren't that good for artisan pizza. The base was very thin and soggy, but crusty around the edges. The fillings were sparse with in my case pepperoni just in a circle around the edge, and the cheese just in strip's here and there. All in all not what we expected for what it advertised as an artisan pizza restaurant, and have had better at Pizza Hut. Edit. After a reply from the owner, apparently there is a lift to the dining room, but you have to ask,, surely a sign at the bottom of the stairs directing you to the lift would be a better option.

Called twice 4 hours before getting there. Didn't get a callback, once I was there the sign said they were full

Very disappointed. Remembered Mawddach as a special place for lunches/dinner. Pizza making is mindless and very lucrative and so why be so mean with the toppings? Very few mushrooms on childrens' pizzas and 5 pieces of pepperami with very little cheese on £13+ pizza is mean. Maybe others think the setting makes up for this...

Great views, lovely staff, excellent pizza!

Visited due to the positive reviews on trip advisor but have to say was disappointed. For the price I would have expected more. The food was ok but not great with Pizzas severely lacking in toppings. After spending £16 on one of the most expensive Pizzas on the menu I would have expected more. It contained slivers of red onion paper thin amounting to a fraction of a complete onion and no more than half a dozen slices of chilli. These are the cheapest ingredients yet I felt the volumes on the Pizza were borderline stingy. We had 2 starters, 3 pizzas, 1 salad, 2 desserts plus 2 soft drinks and a glass of wine and the bill without service was over £92. Some people might say £30 per head is a fair price to pay for a meal out and I wouldn’t disagree but for me it just wasn’t good value. The £8 salad was particularly disappointing with just a couple of pieces of beetroot and hardly any sweetcorn. The restaurant itself was in a great location and made the most of the views across the valley and stylishly decorated. Service was patchy with most of the waiting staff being young and at times seemed more interested in chatting with each other than serving the customers. At one stage one of the staff came to clear our table leaving half of it before moving onto another table. I’m sure plenty of people will enjoy eating here and it appears to be very popular. I am acutely aware of the cost pressures on the hospitality sector but we enjoyed several meals out during our stay in the area and this was without doubt the poorest value for what we got for our money.

Great place, casual & Pizza is brilliant, could be a little larger for price but brilliant nonetheless. Don't know what Mr perfect pizza is complaining about below, I spent much time in sicilia & Italia, and this is close. Wait time is wait time I have no comment there, it comes with good food and turning up at half past five!! I'd advise booking if wanting to go early.

Pizza with a view! Absolutely loved this place, and after visiting a campsite round the corner, around 6 times since last year I can not belive I haven't been before! Wr visited at 5.15pm, after calling at 4pm to ask if they had a table. I was told we would be seated downstairs rather than upstairs where the view was apparently a lot better, this didn't bother me as I had read the reviews and just wanted to try. After receiving our drinks and a small starter a lovely gentleman came over and explained he now has a table free upstairs if we would like to move, without hesitation we set off to the BEAUTIFUL seating area on the 1st floor. The views were insane, pizza was thr best I have ever eaten before and we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, the staff are all so helpful and friendly we couldn't have asked for more. Can not wait to return!! Highly reccomend!

Lovely setting with amazing views. Everyone was very friendly. We sat outside and enjoyed the views but it looked like fun inside. We ordered starters and pizzas all were very good. Booked up in advance so make sure you get in early. Finally the toilets are also outstanding. Just the best toilets I've been in for several years.

Turned up without booking but made to feel very welcome. Wonderful views and the gluten free pizza is the best I have had.

What can I say . We went in without booking . But they told us it would be an hour to get our food . It was raining outside so we stayed and had a couple of drinks . Service was ok and the place is very modern but pizza was average . Maybe for the local or British tourist it tastes good but for us European that are used to Italian Pizzerias it was not that good . So I’m my opinion if you are from the Italy region don’t go . To top it all 4 pizzas 2 coke a glass of wine and a beer totaled for nearly 100£ I MEAN COME ON ITS PIZZA . It was a one time stop for me

Cracking pizza with an excellent view

This is a most unusual pizzeria because of its location in beautiful countryside a few miles to the west of Dolgellau on the Barmouth road. The restaurant is a new, lofty barnlike building with wonderful views from the apex window and the outside terrace. Good pizza and service too! Very acceptable Nero d'Avola house wine.

We live locally but have never tried Mawddach Pizza before. The restaurant is located along the Mawddach estuary with stunning views of the mountains. From start to finish the service was fantastic. We were shown to our table and the staff were all extremely polite and attentive. The food was stunning, we both had a pizza and shared some sides. Also the garlic dip is the best garlic dip I ever tried! Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends. Thankyou ❣️ x

Excellent pizza. Visited a number of times and standard always consistently good. Good service and friendly team. Just wish it was open more than 3 nights. Be aware you need to book at least couple of weeks ahead.

We went here as a family of 8 to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. The staff couldn't have been more polite, the pizzas were just delicious (oh my word, that base!), so full of flavour, and excellent desserts to boot! Then there's that view. Wow! Honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Beautiful setting and great pizza. Unfortunately the service was poor. We ordered a starter that didn't arrive then the main came without cutlery and once again waited so long i had to go inside and collect it myself after asking one of waitress. I'd still recommend this restaurant but don't expect good service from the young staff.

Absolutely obsessed with this pizza ! It’s so so good ! We have been a couple of times and it’s been brilliant every time! Once I leave I always wish I’d ordered another to take home ! So many delicious toppings, the salads are delicious and good choice of drinks too. The service is so great and friendly as well and it’s in such an idyllic place - beautiful barn conversion with a stunning view of Cadair Idris - highly recommend.

Been meaning to try this place for so long and finally got to last night! Fantastic location with stunning views. Friendly service and great atmosphere. We sat downstairs as we had our dog, so glad they allow dogs. Restaurant not as nice as upstairs but I imagine when it's busy you'd never notice. Views out the window were amazing. Small choice of beer and wine but all good stuff. Limited menu of just pizzas and a few starter nibbles but that's what you go there for. Amazing pizzas, good choices, plus some specials too. The salted Caramel mascarpone desert was incredible. Would ve nice to see a simple affogato on the menu though. We will be back and will be bringing more with us next time!

Just all round fantastic. Wonderful salami starter with mellow, really deep flavour. Pizza was just great.
