Good quality food, great customer service, clean environment and very good value for money

Lovely cafe in Norwich, food was hot & delicious. The ladies were very friendly & helpful and I will revist when I am in Norwich again.

This is one of my favourite cafes in Norwich. Very reasonably priced for a great full English breakfast with decent ingredients. Friendly staff and I always have a chinwag and catch-up when I pop by :) I normally get a big breakfast, a fruit smoothie, and a coffee. A lovely place to eat or meet!

Myself and a friend popped in yesterday about midday for a late breakfast, I had scrambled egg on toast and pal had big breakfast it was awesome. A very friendly atmosphere, staff were very friendly and engaging will definitely go in again

Such an amazing little cafe! The food was really good, portion sizes was perfect (the vegetarian breakfast was amazing) and the staff are so genuinely lovely.

Lovely friendly staff and atmosphere with excellent coffee and food options. A great place to while away an extended delay between trains too as it's only a few minutes walk from the train station!

I LOVE this place. Everybody is really friendly, food is great, and it’s a lovely place to eat. Not much more to say, to be honest. Amazing.

I don't give 5 stars very often but the Butterfly cafe certainly gets a place in my club. Popped in for a quick breakfast after the gym. I instantly felt very welcomed, clearly family run by a genuine down to earth couple. My large breakfast was lovely - fresh good quality ingredients, had a very nice latte with it and there was a little table check half way through to make sure everything was alright.. What more could you ask for? Will definitely be back 👍

LOVELY staff, fantastic value (£1.70 for a generous cup of tea and a biscuit), just a great and friendly place that made me feel instantly at home. If I was in Norwich for longer this would definitely be my regular café, will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again.

Great find for a morning coffee and breakfast. The owner and staff were very friendly, great Latte and poached eggs and reasonably priced.

Very friendly cafe, 5 mins walk from the Travelodge. Full English breakfast and tea for £9.50. Selection of other items. Steady flow of customers sitting in and takeaway so obviously quite popular. Very clean, bright, and cheery - both the cafe, and the staff!

A lovely, friendly cafe which is highly recommended. Had breakfast here a couple of times during a long weekend visit to Norwich. Staff were great, booked us a table for our 2nd visit as there were 8 of us and supplied coco pops! Excellent breakfast choices for all appetites. Can recommend the big breakfast, great quality sausages and bacon. We also had cake, sandwiches and sausage rolls to take away for the journey home. Hope to visit again.

An absolutely lovely little Cafe which I will definitely be returning to. Visited with a friend the other day and was immediately greeted by a friendly and bubbly member of staff. We ordered a coffee which was served within a couple of minutes by once again the lovely member of staff. The atmosphere was lovely with a really homely air to it. The surfaces were immaculate with everywhere seeming very clean, even the bathroom looked sparkling with was pretty impressive for a busy little cafe. If I could I’d rate 10 stars. Real thumbs up to the team here!!!

Small, friendly, cheap and just across the road from the National Writers' Centre.

Lovely little spot close to the train station and such great value! Good coffee and selection of food. We come in here for coffee, breakfast & smoothies and can’t believe how good value it is for what you get. Particularly love the mango smoothie! We also bring my baby and the lady and man who work there are so accommodating and lovely to him. Breastfeeding friendly also which is important to me. Overall wonderful spot!

I ordered a Tuna melt panini which is normally my favourite. However, the Tuna was a brown colour and looked off. The panini was small, thin and had tomato sauce splashes on it. And there was a dark thick hair attached to the cheese. Safe to say, I've been put on tuna melts and will not return.

A lovely little cafe where you are always greeted to a warm welcome. Lovely, freshly cooked food. A real treat every time.

A lovely little cafe run by a very friendly couple who gave us directions to our accommodation. We are the Aussie couple who got lost and came back twice to this great cafe. We would certainly recommend it. Val & John.

Went for a quick break and grabbed a smoothie and avocado 🥑 toast. The owner was kind enough to make me a vegan avocado toast. It’s a lovely cafe and people seated their were enjoying their time. Some of them were working from the place too, very relaxing atmosphere. Staff were humble. I would recommend the business owners to bring sustainable packaging in their takeaway boxes as it will be environment friendly.

Just spent four days in Norwich, found this superb cafe on day 3 for breakfast, used again on day 4 and wished we'd found it on day 1. Splendid cafe, very friendly proprietor and staff who are happy to chat with customers. Great food prepared to order and served hot and tasty. Very clean and comfortable and close to the Riverside. Would recommend to anyone. Cheers, a very happy customer.

A wonderful find on King Street, frequented by residents, local workers and tourists. A great welcome, friendly service, comfortable surroundings, and outdoor seating where i enjoyed a small English breakfast, cup of tea and a smoothie. Everything was quality. I certainly will return on my next visit to Norwich.

Only been here twice so far and both times been blown away by customer service! The paninis are delicious and so are the smoothies, and the prices are great especially considering the city location. Will definitely keep coming back 😍

Steve the owner makes you really welcome on every single visit. This place is more than at first it might appear, it's not a 'greasy spoon cafe', but it's much much more than that. Spotlessly clean and covid compliant with a choice of seating in or outside of the building. Top quality selection of snacks and wholesome cafe food that you'd expect from a puker trained chef. Great coffee and he usually has a selection of pastry or a nice slice of cake. I'd recommend the afternoon coffee and cake. Shout out to the efficient, pleasant and very hard working waitresses. Honestly if you are looking for a nice little walk out, then do have a wander down to the historic King Street quarter. Oh and it's a proper dog friendly environment too. What's not to like?

Dog friendly, people friendly, good fresh food well prepared for at a great price. A proprietor who clearly enjoys his work and his customers. A fresh, clean, well appointed space offering comfortable tables and a simple menu with something for most tastes. It's difficult to imagine a more inviting little cafe.

What a find this little cafe is. Food really good one of the best panninis I have eaten . They even bring you a little dish for your used tea bags which is brilliant no drippy teabags in your saucer!! Very friendly host has time for a chat and you don't feel rushed. We sat out side and lovely view of the Dragon Hall. Would highly recommend

Love this little cafe, Steve and Darcy are really friendly and the food is delicious.

Highly rate the friendly atmosphere, the delicious quality food and the overall customer service from Steve and his team.

Steve, Darcy and Daisy offer a warm welcome and Steve cooks a professionally prepared breakfast. The Eggs Benedict is consistently excellent as is the coffee. Steve listens carefully to any requests and does a great job. It's our "go to" cafe for breakfast whenever we're in Norwich.

Great back street Norwich cafe. Deserves to do well if the bacon rolls are anything to go by.

Highly recommend. This is more than your average cafe that just looks to get you served and out the door. The staff are friendly and make time to chat. The coffee is great, food choices range from cakes to a full cooked breakfast...and the place is spotless.
