Butlers Restaurant & Bar in Arun

Found ourselves in Arundel without a lunch plan the other day and were welcomed at Butlers. Food was a set meal - beef cheek and arancini - delicious. Service was excellent and accommodations were made for our child. Thank you!

When we arrived we were greeted like old friends and shown to our seats immediately . The service was brilliant and the food delicious....all of it. We were there to celebrate my birthday, and the sweet was brought to the table with a burning candle abd a chorus of happy birthday, which made it even more special . Thank you all so much. If you haven't been to Butlers before GO! you will not be disappointed .

Had a birthday party for 6 here. Great time was had by all, food was excellent, service was excellent, lovely atmosphere staff were great, hope to return soon, would highly recommend A+

We had not made a booking but were made very welcome. Beautiful decor with low lighting. We were last there four years ago and it has improved enormously. Highly recommended. My husband, who is a vegetarian, was extremely impressed with his veggie dish, which is very rare as most restaurants do not make much effort.

Decided to eat here for valentine's day, what a lovely meal it was. Superb ingredients and fillet steak cooked to perfection. Staff very attentive and friendly with a complimentary rose for the girlfriend when departing. A lovely experience overall and will be returning to taste their regular menu! 😄

If I could put one star I would such a rude owner and definitely wouldn’t come here unless you want to be yelled at :(

A lovely meal with exceptional service.

I had such a delicious dinner here when away on a work trip. The food was really special. Beautifull presented and really unique flavours. Great wine and really friendly service which is so important when you are going out to eat alone. I couldn't fault it and would come back again with the greatest pleasure.

Best Sunday lunch in Sussex! Crispy roast potatoes, delicious pork belly and the best bread and butter pudding you’ll ever have. Beautiful restaurant couldn’t recommend more.

If TA was owned by Carlesberg, then Butlers would get 6⭐.. it's as simple as that😊👍. Outstanding from the moment we walked in at 13:45 through to our departure at 15:15. Attentive service when required, otherwise all tables were discreetly observed👍👍. The cauliflower & parmesan soup was one of the best soups that my tastebuds have been tantalised by...😋😋..( I would happily had it as my desert option🤣). My main of supreme of chicken was fabulous too as was the bread pudding .. Our other 😋😋 choices of Arinchini & Aubergine were also top drawer . And not forgetting Alex who also twinkled 😊👍.. Thankyou!!

I went for My Birthday with daughter Ordered King Prawn starter and Shocked My daughter going for the Cod and Monkfish Main was truly delish great choice ,Daughter had Pork lovely Portion sizes are very good and No space for a Pudding Service was attentive But No over powering I would Highly recommend this restaurant and will return Soon Thank you

Lovely family run restaurant, set in the heart of Arundel. The atmosphere is always warm and cosy, service excellent and the food and drink of a consistently high standard. There is a small bar/seating area at the front of the restaurant if you fancy a drink before your meal. They keep the menu interesting. We had the two course set lunch, which is good value. They also have an excellent choice of well priced wines by the glass/bottle to match. Our servers were friendly, polite and good humoured, which made the experience even more pleasurable. Just bear in mind that stairs to the basement toilet are steep, but not a problem for most. In my option, one of the best restaurants around.

A super restaurant, with an absolute professional running it. We had a delightful 3 course dinner this evening and the food was exceptional but Sasha and her team were equals to that. Very, very impressive.

12 months ago we got married and held our wedding breakfast in this restaurant, the food and service at that time was exceptional. So to celebrate our 1st Anniversary we returned, we were not disappointed, once again Sasha and her team provided an exceptional service, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to provide a great experience. Once again the menu was very good, not extensive, yet every dish was unique and tempting. We had Beetroot Terrine and BBQ Pork and Vegetable Spring Roll for Starters, we both had Ballotine of Turkey for the main course. We shared the Festive Bread and Butter pudding, every dish was delicious! We will be back regularly now.

A celebration dinner with friends Saturday night we always enjoy meeting here ..for mains we had 2 cod specials and 2 duck which was disappointing, the meat was thickly cut and very chewy I had to leave most of it, the waitress didn't even comment, I have no idea why we didn't complain, I would normally and I'm sure they would have suggested an alternative.

My most favourite restaurant in the world. Food is amazing, seasonal and fine dining quality with a warm family relaxed atmosphere and a sense of fun and humour. wow just wow! we were lucky enough to book butlers private dining room for our wedding meal and the whole experience was nothing short of amazing, sacha and her team are top draw and nothing from start to finish was too much trouble, the food was outstanding and all our guests commented on how good it was, the 2 ladies who looked after us all eveing were amazing and a real credit to this amazing restaurant, thank you thank you thank you, for just making our special day even more special, we will def be returning for a meal for two not 25 next time and can't wait

Delicious modern British food in a lovely atmosphere. Everything tasted incredible - especially the raspberry souffle! The only criticism was that the service was a bit slow and disjointed.

My husband and I had friends coming from The New Forest and because I’d been to Butlers before and loved it so much I booked for Sunday lunch, it was amazing, my friend who is really fussy actually thought it was the best Sunday roast she’d ever had eating out!.
