Came here last Wednesday with my family for my little brothers birthday meal and I would tell everyone to come here it’s fantastic. Great food, good atmosphere around the place. Staff very friendly they was brilliant with my little sister who’s a picky eater. For the quality of the food it is very well priced. 100% reccomend

Both meals had meat under cooked. Had the crispy belly pork but only got a pinky finger size of crackling plus fat not rendered plus duck meat very hard to cut though and again skin not rendered properly. Couple next to us also unhappy with their meal

Booked an early bird deal on Friday. Great menu choice, Excellent value at £18 for 3 courses, Lovely staff. Thoroughly recommended. We will be back.

Just been to what I call the new Burlington. The food was great, no change in quality and service, very friendly and the staff did more than expected. They made me a birthday cake which was lovely and exceptional to eat. I would certainly recommend going here. We will be certainly going back. Well done Burlington team . Top food

We booked a table for 6 last minute on a Saturday night, so didn’t really know what to expect. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and we couldn’t fault anything about the meal. Would definitely recommend and we will be back when we next visit Bridlington :-)

Lovely meal great restaurant. Starter of warm fig and halloumi salad, for mains we had slow cooked pork and pan fried duck all of which were delicious. Friendly and prompt service. Will happily recommend. 👍

This is a great place for any occasion. The front of house knew what I had requested in my confirmation email as soon as I said my name - excellent attention to detail. Made us feel at home and special at the same time. Gave us space and time to properly read the menu. We all agreed the food was excellent, and extremely well priced for what we got. The duck main was cooked to perfection, and the seabass was also perfectly done with crispy skin. We had ample time between courses to digest and carry on our conversation. The staff were both friendly and professional. Should we ever be in Bridlington again, we would certainly go back.

We were in Bridlington for the weekend and having seen the reviews on this restaurant we felt we must book it. Our experience however did not match up to the many reviews we read. Upon arrival we were shown to the large, rear room, which we found very cold, and my wife struggled to get through the evening without putting her coat back on. Although there were radiators in the room sadly these were not on. We opted for the butterfly chicken in pesto sauce and the pork belly in cider sauce. When the meals arrived, the plates had not been warmed so the sauces on both dishes soon became cold, we were given vegetables to share on a very small plate with about four new potatoes, a few carrots, a small amount of cabbage and one cauliflower floret. In our opinion this was enough for only one person. The pesto sauce for the chicken was quite nice but the chicken itself lacked moisture so was tough when cutting. The sauce with the pork was nice but the pork itself lacked flavour and it was hard to know what meat you were actually eating. The only positive was that the sherry trifle and cheesecake deserts were quite nice. On the whole we would struggle to recommend this place to anyone and sadly will not be returning on our next visit to Bridlington

Immaculate and welcoming was our first impression. The staff are lovely and friendly. The food was fresh, beautifully laid out and absolutely delicious. The pricing is fair in our opinion. My wife and I will definately be returning soon. Cannot rate our experience high enough. Nothing to fault. Please try it out. You won't be dissapointed.

If I could write a review that would do this place justice, it would seem unbelievable. This place has a beautiful ambience married together with great staff. This place allowed both myself and my family to feel at ease, relaxed and accommodated throughout our dinner. The food was phenomenal. Served promptly, displayed beautifully and tasted phenomenal. My partner had the pork and gushed over it.....all the way home as well. I, myself had the grilled butterfly chicken breast, my daughter had the chicken nuggets (I may have pinched one....but no regrets because it was phenomenal,.the batter 😮 ...she got an extra scoop of ice-cream for it)and they were all finished with compliments sent to the chef. Most definitely the greatest service I have ever received. If you are in the area, do yourself a favour and eat here. Oh yeah, the pudding..... Black cherry cake..... Beautiful... We visited on a Saturday evening as a party of 7. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. Nice menu choice with 4 or 5 specials. I had a Rib Eye steak cooked medium which was perfect and the hand cooked chips were amazing. Prices a little high for some items but given the menu prices are on the website, there's no surprises. We would definately return.

A beautiful restaurant with a warm friendly approach. After a busy day with the children in the heart of the town, we were really looking forward to a good meal. It certainly didn’t disappoint! The food was tasty and presented well and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be returning

Unfortunately it wasn’t the best experience at all, there was more staff than diners, the excess staff were just sat drinking cups of tea in the front area - not what i would expect in a restaurant environment. Food wasn’t the best nor was the service. It was over priced and underwhelming.

Sunday lunch, absolutely perfect, the cauliflower cheese was amazing, homeade yorkie and the beef cooked to perfection. Simply fantastic. I will definitely be back. X

We had a wonderful meal here celebrating my dad’s birthday. Every course was delicious - particularly the sirloin steak. The attention to detail and little touches really made the difference. Very traditional, but by far the best meal we had during our stay in Bridlington.

To say the Sunday dinner was atrocious would be an understatement.The best part was the tomato bread roll and it was downhill all the way from there. To make pate tasteless is a feat in itself, still we thought the dinner would be fine if other reviews are to be believed. We could not have been more wrong.The beef at least I think it was beef was submerged below a thick gravy and consisted of two tiny slices of overcooked brown matter. Given the proximity of farm land there must have been a catastrophic failure of the crops. The portion for three consisted of maybe two potatoes deceptively diced and probably cooked last week then reheated, a carrot,six green beans,a table spoon of cabbage and two florets of broccoli. All boiled with the skill needed to remove any vestige of taste.The dessert was soggy stodge masquerading as crumble covering a tea spoon of some kind of fruit (I think)To those who decry the influence of 'foreign' food and this place seemed to be what the Daily Mail would describe as a British restaurant, though like the Daily Mail and its readership their idea of Britain appears to be stuck in 1955,I would make them eat here for a week.

A lovely family run restaurant. We received a warm welcome from the lady owner. The ambience was excellent - a comfortable lounge area where your order was taken. There were two small rooms eating areas which were warm and cosy. On being seated the napkins were placed on our laps!!! (almost unheard of these days except in larger 1st class establishments ) We arrived early for our nooking and were offered the early bear menu The restuarant pays tribute to burlington bear)The food was exceptional - so good that I forgot to take photos!! We were served warm home made onion bread with balsamic vinegar and oil as complementary appetiser. Our starters were mushrooms in a garlic and herb sauce, basil pezto; Wensleydale cheese, beetroot and walnut salad with raspberry balsamic dressing;tomato and bacon soup. Mains: Roast pork fillet with black pudding and French Onion gravy; Chicken breast with hickory smoked bacon in leek and tarragon sauce; Chiken breast pieces in Thai curry sauce and Rice. Our granddaughter was allowed to have a second starter of chicken pancake in a herb cream sauce as there were no children's menu.We were so repleat that most of us couldn't face one of their superb desserts. Two of our party dod, however, share a chocolate brownie with a chocolate sauce and creamWe did, however, have a quality filter coffee with fudge.I cannot recommend this restaurant too highly. We will certainly revisit should we teturn to the area.

We originally ate here on a visit with family during August Bank Holiday weekend and we enjoyed it so much that we booked again for our wedding anniversary. Both times we received a warm welcome as if we were old friends and the service was excellent. We had the 'early bear' menu and were spoilt for choice. Everything was beautifully cooked and the portion sizes were just right (so we could fit three courses in!). We absolutely love this place and will definitely eat here again when we're in the area.

The highlight of a good and enjoyable weekend break in Bridlington at our friends holiday Cottage was the visit to Burlingtons in the Old Town.

I found the food well presented and of a good quality though the portions on the small side. I think the owner cooked and his wife served, when you consider the restraunt was full she was rushed but very curtious and helpfull

This delightful little place was a real find. The lady who appeared to be running everything there was a superb hostess. The food was wonderful and both the meals and drinks very reasonably priced. If you go to Bridlington, you need to visit this place.

We had visitors yesterday and had booked a table for Sunday Lunch -- very welcoming on arrival, excellent meal and service - well spaced tables so each group could talk without hearing each other. Free parking nearby so well situated in Bridlington Old Town.

Visited Burlington’s for the first time today for Sunday lunch with my wife and daughter.

Ate here with our friends, the menu offers a very wide choice of dishes and because we all chose something different, each one of us had a really enjoyable meal. Service and table layout is good. A starter and a main for my meal left no room for a sweet, shame really as they all looked good. Well worth a trip. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

After much searching on Google maps for a Sunday lunch venue away from home I found this small restaurant in the Old Town area of Bridlington. Parking was found behind the shops opposite though limited parking was available in front of the restaurant. What a gem, welcoming, cosy and with lots of teddy bears (who doesn't like a teddy bear) tastefully placed around. Food was freshly cooked, tasty and served with good humour and with a little extra between courses. Prices were reasonable. Everything was so good we went back in the week.

Just got back to our B and B after another successful visit to High Street where we were again treated to a wonderful meal at Burlington’s this evening. I had mushroom and asparagus soup and my wife had melon fan drenched in gin. I then had a chicken Thai curry and the wife had sea bass. I then finished off with bread and butter pudding. Our hostess was lovely and made us feel at home. We would definitely return.

Met up with family as previously arranged to enjoy a meal, but unfortunately it was snowing so not many people had ventured out. We were the only people in the restaurant but that did not have any impact on our evening. The food was fantastic, first time I had duck - it was beautiful. Everyone was extremely happy with the quality of food and service. we will definitely be going back.

The host greeted us with a warm welcome, and we had a drink at the bar before being shown to our table, where we were given two small, freshly-baked rolls. My wife had the potato and leek soup, followed by pork fillet and black pudding; while I had the chicken pâté followed by crispy duck. The desserts sounded mouth-watering, but we were just too full to partake. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and would definitely go back if in the area. A must if you like teddy bears!

Booked Easter Sunday as we were staying nearby. On arrival greeted by very friendly lady behind the bar . We chose our drinks and then given menus . We sat to browse and then our order taken. We were then taken to our table. Lovely quaint room. The food was very nice, roast dinner with all the trimmings. We had dessert too which was beautiful. If they gave out awards for customer service then they would win hands down. Would fully recommend and if ever we return will definitely go back.

From start to finish I could not fault this restaurant. The ambiance, attention by staff and quality of food were outstanding. Be warned! The description of the sweet selection will have your mouth watering and all good intentions will go out of the window!

Following a recommendation we chose Burlingtons Restaurant for dinner whilst on a recent overnight stay in Bridlington. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Judy and enjoyed an excellent meal from the Early Bear Menu, which was very good value. The homemade desserts were delicious. Judy kindly drew us a map of the route back to our hotel which was very helpful. Thank you! We recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning next time we are in Bridlington.

Just had a delicious meal at burlingtons! The staff are lovely, you are made to feel very welcome. We had the early 'bear' menu which is excellent value for money. You can tell the food is home made and very tasty. Lovely (unexpected) added extras including home made bread and petit fours. Would definitely recommend a visit!

I have dined here on various occasions, one being my 70th birthday with family. The service was as ever superb from all. The food was very good and well presented.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Burlingtons on Friday 21st September. Chose the £17.95 Early bear menu which was exceptional, I had homemade pancakes, chicken and home made bread and butter pudding. My wife had the pancakes and pork.

We went as a party of four for the Early Bears set menu which cost around £15 each. I won't comment on the food for the other couple as its unfair as they seemed pleased with their seafood duo. My husband had the salmon and I had Thai chicken curry. The salmon portion size was very frugal being less than one inch wide. My Thai curry lacked flavour - it needed about six times the herbs and spices plus some garlic. It came with a tiny timbale of rice. The bread and butter pudding was good but served sith very thin cream when we would have preferred custard. food was served hot and the service was excellent. I gave them four stars because the extras were lovely - hot bread rolls with balsamic vinegar ad olive oil, strawberry sorbet and pieces of fudge. Nice ambience which although dated was in good condition. The loos were a fine example of sixties formica. Would we go here again? No, sorry.

We decided to visit Burlingtons as a result of reading TripAdvisor and other reviews and were certainly not disappointed. Being Friday evening the place was busy but not overwhelmingly so. There is an Early Bears menu - look it up to find out about the bears - and an a la carte menu, each of which is sufficiently varied to suit most tastes and sensibly priced given the quality of the food and presentation.
