Burger King in Flintshire

Came here for a snack after being out,as this is our local burger king. Place was very clean and not busy. Self service works well,staff also there and very nice and helpful . Food was very quick and tasty.

OK so I rarely give 5* reviews but for a fast food store this place is brilliant and all the rest could learn a thing or two from visiting and seeing how it should be done It is always very clean. Food is always on point, hot and plenty of it. The people who work here and it always seems to be the same man and women are freindly and deserve alot of credit for the way they do their job they are helpful and are always great with the kids. Well done!!

Always good when we stop off hot decent food as you expect will be back again on our next visit to wales

Terrible food and an absolute miserable purple haired weirdo on the til that clearly hates her job and everyone that walks through the door never go here for food

Good little pit stop to fill the tummy especially when you've got kiddies. The food was tasted lovely and was served nice and hot unlike other fast foods, to be truthful didn't expect the good to be as hot but definitely was nice. Friendly staff too so all in all a fab dinner experience. One thing I will agree with is what one of the previous reviewers expressed, that the sign off the A55 is terribly late, sharp turn and dangerous. Due to this I nearly missed the turning and had to turn sharp to avoid causing any accidents. Not sure who this onus falls down to but definitely needs sorting. Apart from that... the food, staff was amazing.

Had ran out of a lot things, particularly vegetarian options. They didn't have an extensive menu so we didn't have dinner as we planned but the breakfast we did get was okay

I called into the restaurant for lunch, I chose the bacon double cheese burger. I collected my burger and headed back to my transport back onto the A55 dual carriageway. I was very disappointed with the burger as it was almost cold, there was not even enough heat to melt the cheese slices. I wish I had gone to Greggs next door so will not be revisiting this restaurant again.

Very clean and efficient fast food outlet. Burger King quality, nice friendly staff..., what’s not to like... Only Westbound travellers can benefit from this eatery, but it’s worth a visit if you fancy a scooby-snack...

Upgraded now has Greg’s inside as well. Smaller Burger King but overall loads better. So if not all fancy a burger then helpful having something else.

Called in for burgers on our way home. Burgers were lovely , hot and fresh. The staff were very polite and helpful too.

My husband and I used to come every week before it closed used to be brilliant but now since it reopened it was horrible we had to throw most of it away it's not the same. We will not be returning

I believe that the owners have been refurbishing this BK for several months now. They have all the signage up on the road and entrance, and the inside is lit up, but the place is far from ready. The new Gregg's at the same location is open from 6am until mid afternoon. During my two night stay at the Travelodge next door I saw at least 30 cars arrive intending to use the Burger King that isn't open STILL. Come on BK franchise owner @ Halkyn, sort it out!?!

My father & I popped into Burger King as we were in need of a nibble to eat on a fine spring morning. We had a very average experience overall. The positives: - Nice site overlooking the Wirral and Liverpool. - Clean tables. - Plenty of sauces/condiments/milk etc. - Hardworking, friendly staff who were pleasant to even the most vile, ignorant customers. - Use the BK app as you can save pounds! The negatives: - The burgers; we were told they hadn’t had a delivery of lettuce! Also, my King Bacon was large but the bacon was over cooked and the rashers were the tiniest I’ve ever seen! - Old chippies. - The napkins are pathetic. - Dirty toilets. - Too few staff - one serving a lot of customers and one in the back throwing together the grub. - Inadequate signage on the approach to BK on the A55 plus a dangerous, sharp slip road.

Fantastic, the staff are bloody fantastic! While I was there last time they had some not so nice customers and they delt with it perfectly and very professionally and the BK bosses should be proud of their staff!!!! I always have a lovely warm welcome and if I don't have the family with me they ALWAYS ask how they are!! Can't ask for better it's like chatting with friends! Lol 😂 Thank you guys and Merry Christmas xx

Stopped off here on way home, spot on meal burgers are better than mcdonalds, area is clean, always fast service, staff friendly

The food was gorgeous, so no complaints there. My problem was a hygiene aspect. Watched a man, who appeared to be the manager use the same cloth to clean the tables and then the drinks machine. He dropped the cloth on the floor, picked it and carried on cleaning the drinks machine.

Ate at lunchtime. Food freshly cooked and the staff could not be more helpful. The restaurant is kept clean with lovely views over the Dee Estuary. Would recommend.

Just a warning for people that may be looking at going here if they are staying at the travelodge next door. Burger King does not open until 11 am so it would be an idea to look at alternatives for food. The Travelodge does offer breakfast in a box but no hot food. Having a fast food place on a main road next to a hotel you would expect it to be open earlier so please be aware.

Took the kids and met a friend! The staff were lovely smiling very warm welcome. They had new staff and training, we have all been there, who after taking a large order from us said "I'm sorry I was a bit slow it's my first day! Hope you enjoy your meal I will bring it over!" Wow how lovely, kind and friendly! Shame the same can't be said about some of the customers! Rude wasn't the word! But thank you Lucy, Lilly and Sian you are very polite and Burger King should be proud of what lovely staff you are and they employ! Also thank you to the young man and girl in the back sorting the food out with the 2 fussy eaters I had with me! Again nothing was to much trouble and you were all very kind.

its not very often I'll have a burger but being on holiday it was a good excuse to try one. its was rather tasty I have to say served with fries, salad and a drink all nice and hot. Friendly staff too all in all a nice treat. I will agree with a previous writer, the sign off the A55 is terrible late and rather dangerous I would have thought, a car nearly ran into the back of me as I had to break late to avoid missing the turning.

Even when you KNOW there is a burger king along this busy road, you are literally ON it before you see the sign, in fact you see the sign and the turn at the same second in time, with ZERO warning, hardly a second to indicate!!!

Always enjoy a visit to burger king the food is always hot and chips are big.lovely view from the restaurant Staff are always helpful and pleasant.

Can not praise the staff, Lucie, Sian and Laura, enough!! If your pregnant or not but your craving something but want to add or swap anything on your food then just ask as NOTHING is too much for theses guys to help! Why? Because as they said customer satisfaction is their priority! And they have proved to me that they mean it! Burger King you should be proud of your staff!! Total delight to be met by as you walk in!! We have visited here numerous times when we're on route to Anglesey, the staff are always friendly and helpful and the place is clean and tidy, no one ever grumbles when you just bob in to use the loos either

Only time I have had hot fast food and it was lovely, nice and tasty. Speedy service and friendly staff. Definitely recommend a visit on your way past.

A clean, pleasant place which was not busy when I visited and did just what we needed (a hot, quick meal). Conveniently located on the dual carriageway, I would be happy to visit again.

We travel from Colwyn Bay to here when we fancy a burger king. The staff are always friendly and polite, and we have never had a bad meal here. Its all cooked fresh and tasty. Sitting in the restarant the views are lovely too. Highly recomended.

I arrived and it was lovely and clean and tidy, staff were busy, in talking to the staff and about to order for my family I started to struggle to breath! I leaned forward on the counter, I had sent a message to my family as we are all use to this happening now, lady on the till was amazing asking me questions about my family, me, my hobbies etc until someone arrived! It's nothing to worry about as I am use to this accuring now but I do hope the staff didn't get in to trouble and I do hope I wasn't in the way!!! And I even took flowers down to the lady on the till to say thank you and sorry! Me and my family are regulars and I do hope we didn't put anyone out or off their meals!!!

Ordered an Amsterdam Angus Supreme and got an Couldn'tgiveadam SupremeRubbish, possibly the worst burger I've seen/had.

Poor service with the woman serving talking to a woman leaning on the counter.The woman's backside stuck out and we both felt in the way.We were not valued and not one thank you.Food excellent disappointed with service

Visited this Burger King, very poor signage from the A55. Nice clean and tidy and the manager was very friendly. You may ask why average? Contrary to the Burger King website, they do not serve breakfast here.

We only go here when we are rushed and always use the Burger King App.This saves us a fortune every time.It is always clean and food always cooked fresh.Fast food but convenient

We stopped here on our way home from Manchester for a quick bite to eat. Staff were extremely friendly and very quick in delivering the food. Decor was very modern and plenty of dining space availabe as well as plenty of car/coach parkibg outside.

stayed at the travelodge next door and felt hungry.We had tried it before and were not very impressed,but hunger took us in .This time was much,much better .Staff nice,and food good so worth a look in if you need a quick meal.

Didn't have any problems with this BurgerKing. Ordered the food, got the food, ate the food. There is a self service drinks machine which might put some people off. Toilet facilities available inside. Plenty of car parking spaces outside. Staff were pleasant enough. Lots of tables to sit at too. No issues.

We've called in here a few times over the past couple of months for a quick bite to eat and on every occasion the burgers and chips have been lovely, I find them much more filling than McDonald's!! We would go more often but weren't sure of the opening/closing times but I have asked the manager and he said they open at 10am and serve meals straight away (no Breakfast menu) and they close at 9pm during the winter then from Easter half term they open until 10pm. There is only one thing that they need to improve on and that is have sweeteners for coffees but other than that everything is great, will defiantly be back again

I last came to Burger King in August 2015 and was deeply disappointed. Came back today and the food was lovely!! There is a massive improvement! Really enjoyed the food thank you.

We all tired to going out so than give a try to burger king .... been here around 8.45 pm they closed around 9 but they served us food with smile and all burger and chips ware hot so we all like it if we visit Travelodge next door Defiantly will have burger here again .

After spending a night at the Travelodge nxt door we decided on a cuppa at Burger King...Big big mistake! Ignorant lad behind the counter could not have been more unhelpful...then when he got his act together the two coffees we ordered were lukewarm....Never again will i darken BurgerKing's door....

No ice cream machine working and apparently didn't do breakfasts there. However food was good and we enjoyed our meals. Friendly staff

Popped in on the way home to grab a burger and drink. Everything was just spoilt by the amount of flies around the whole window area, live and dead ones, not just 1 or 2 either. The seating area really needed cleaning as well, wouldn't mind if it was busy, but I was the only one in at the time. Otherwise the burger, fries and drink were all right. Oh and why don't they advertise the 99p specials on display in the store, yet you see them on the big banner driving past???

Having dropped my wife off in Chester and fancying a breakfast I called in at "The Little Chef" at Halkyn only to find it was no longer a little chef but a Burger king. The place was very quiet (2 other customers), spotlessly clean, attentative staff but that's where the good bits end! Surveying their flashy menu above the serving area I decided on a Bacon double cheese burger with chips and a coffee (that's a "meal" by the way) I found a table with a wonderful view over the Wirral over towards Liverpool and my "meal" was brought over on a tray. The burger looked nothing like the pictured one on the fancy menu board, the size was miniscule with just a few chips. To add insult to injury the whole thing was cold! I went back to the young lady and informed her that it was disgusting and got my money back. Wont be going back there again.

Flame Grilled. More like Microwaved. The bun was soggy and greasy, and it charges the same price as motorway service stations, despite not being either on a motorway, or being a service station.

Lad behind counter was irritated because we'd obviously interrupted his texting. Burger was dry & tasteless, not Burger King's usual standard - I normally enjoy their burgers.

We visited Burger King after a long car journey from the south of England. My burger-loving boyfriend, my son and I had whoppers and they were pretty tasty. The service was great and came with a smile and although my chips were lukewarm they were still nice. It was all OK until I noticed that the ceiling was covered in flies. Big, black ones. Almost made me heave. The place looked clean to me but there's no way all of those flies just flew in when the door opened...so where did they come from? I counted 24 just in the space above is. Made my stomach churn :(

I only had a "breakfast" there, if you call a cheese, egg, and sausage bun a breakfast. The interior was quite clean, but it was around 08.00 in the morning. The food was well cooked, and tasty, but could be more for the cost.

When we arrived a guy was getting his money back I guess because he had waited a while. Anyway the girl who I assume was the supervisor actually pulled her face as the man walked away!! The food wasn't as good as I normally have from a Burger King it wasn't that hot and I ended up leaving the bap because it crumbled into bits. Left feeling very disappointed

My wife & I stopped off at the A55 Westbound Burger King in Halkyn, north Wales, for a snack and leg stretch. The carpark hadn't been touched, and apart from the change of signage from Little Chef (LC) to BK the building exterior was pretty much the same. However, inside had been renovated.Where the old LC kitchen area was is still where the food is made, but as in other BK restaurants you queue up to order and pay in advance rather than settle the bill when you're leaving.I counted three female members of staff working - two older ladies were involved in the food preparation and looked utterly miserable! The younger lass that served me was called Chelsea, and she was quite pleasant; she also informed me that BK had kept on and retrained most of the LC staff so top marks to the new management! Now can you train them to please smile...Anyway, our bacon double cheeseburgers were delicious, and the barm cakes were fresh and light. The nine chicken nuggets (for £1.39) were good too and Chelsea told me today's "special offer" was TEN nuggets for £1.49... I had to politely inform her that one extra nugget for another ten pence wasn't actually much of a bargain.As we ate, we noticed a large crowd was now queuing, and still it was only Chelsea taking the orders. I'm unsure whether there were more staff available to man another till, but it seemed a wee bit unfair to just have one individual dealing with the customers and waits. Get more staff, BK, because you clearly need them! Oh, and a cleaner too because the toilets were disgusting.Two out of five.

No food ready, massive queue, orders going wrong and the staff response was what do you people want there is only 4 of us. Never going back
