Great service. Food was lovely and the manager goes above and beyond for her staff and customers....

Always friendly and helpful service. Filling and fresh food. Worth the extra pennies I feel and family favourite for us above other chains.

Ordered a double bacon burger meal, got 2 burgers ,half an onion ring, no tomato, a tiny bit of limp lettuce and a small square of bacon you had to hunt for. Surely its against the law for it not to look something like the picture? Also the sanitizer was water :o runny and no smell.

I would comment on the food itself, but it appears that the staff start closing up before they actually close. Despite the opening hours being listed as 10am-10pm, I was turned away at 9.45pm as they had closed the kitchen. When catching up with my family the following day, they reported that at 9.20pm the majority of the place was coned off and they were turning people away. My parents also reported that, although they got their food, the hot drinks machine had been turned off just after 9pm. Since there isn't anything else to eat here when staying at the travel lodge I went hungry. Surely you should still have full service up until 10pm? Disappointing.

Good social distancing very clean staff friendly and well trained food was hot and large order was correct.

The service was fast! Food was cooked there and then so was fresh and hot. Staff were a little flustered dealing with drive through orders (understandable based on location) However, the staff were attentive to customers in store.

Saw an ad for the rebel whopper and took my veggie lady to get one and it was tasty. Better than a normal whopper. Drop the whopper and keep the rebel whopper

Due to heavy traffic stopped by on our way to the theatre in Bury St Edmunds. Tiny restaurant - only three tables. Waited to get served, pleasant enough member of staff, although harassed at trying to serve counter and do drive through. Another staff member kept popping through with a headset on, but then disappeared. Waited about 15 minutes and was then informed my card payment hadn’t gone through as ‘the internet had crashed’ and apparently ‘is terrible’ at the premises. Tried again only for machine to show declined. Asked for cash, luckily I had some. Next customer was told cash only, followed by further customers tendering cards! Food finally turned up after 20-25 minute wait. While waiting I attempted to log onto BK’s website to leave feedback only to discover I needed a store number and I had no receipt. Once food arrived had to bolt it down to avoid being late. As we left the car park I realised I still had no receipt. I will be checking my credit card transactions carefully to make sure I’ve not been charged, although with no receipt and paying cash I’ve got no hard proof if it did go through. This morning searched BK website which doesn’t even show this branch as existing, only the new leisure park location!

We visited in October. The food was as expected and was served quite quickly. The restaurant area is very small and there are only three tables. However, you could just eat your food outside or in your car.

Service was quite a while and the place was not particularly busy, I did manage to get all my order this time. But easy if you are not wanting to go into ely itself.

Burger King is a franchise, so prices differ depending on where you go. This edge of town outlet seemed one of the pricier ones,but,apart from that, we found nothing to complain about. If you are pushed for time this will fulfil your calorie requirement. Otherwise there's a wider variety in Ely itself. Having said that - food was as described, service was quick. There are two tables inside but we went at a quiet time so that wasn't a problem.

Waited for ages to get served and get our order because the poor girl serving was on her own doing the counter and drive through both of which were busy, not her fault...

The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. I always prefer Burger King, I love the flame grilled taste. Burgers at their best and to make the experience special, really great staff. Time of visit 8:30pm. 3/5/18. Yum

Popped in here after spending the night in the hotel next door , Had a lovely bacon type burger and a very decent cup of coffee , all in all a very pleasant experience. Staff were very pleasant

We visited Burgar King for the first time. We first went to the drive thru but then moved into a parking space due to the absolute lack of speed of service. Upon entering the main restaurant it was obvious as to why tt was taking so long to serve customers. This was because the food was only being cooked on a 'to order basis'. So it is not fast food as one has to order, then wait for it to be cooked and this was just for a pack of fries. When the fries came (we had paid for the large), the portion was quite small. To summarise, the restaurant had 4 workers, it looks quite new and clean but I can only think that the staff were possibly inexperienced as it had taken so long to receive the fries.

Very polite staff on when we visited on Feb 23rd and Feb 24th. This is a drive trough and also has a small indoor seating area. We had a burger in the evening and the next morning visited for breakfast, Good value for money and tasty hot food. Staying at the travelodge next to it this is an ideal place for a quick bit to eat before heading off on you journey, we would visit again if staying here.

Was staying next door so popped in on a very chilly evening , staff were ok , service was good ,cant really complain . A burger king is a burger king .

Despite a new kfc and McDonald’s Burger King has definitely tried their hardest to keep up! Speed of service was excellent and the staff were so lovely. Despite being an older restaurant it was very clean and tidy! I will definitely keep coming to Burger King!

first thing you notice when walking in this dive , is how dirty the place is , majority of staff are spotty teenage degenerates led by the queen rodent-like manger .

I visited the Burger King on witchford road, Ely near the BP, travel lodge and little chef, I placed a simple order at 1.37pm of 2x long rodeo BBQ burger meals, I continued to wait for my food to find out that the plonker behind the till put it as a drive thru, yet I was in the store ..... so I then questioned them why my meal hasn't got to me yet 10 minutes later, I finally received my order at 2.00pm !!!! 23 minutes after originally placing my order !!!! All I wanted was an apology or at least a refund due to the severe delay in communication and my lunch, but I didn't receive either, all I got was an xl fries, which was nothing, being aneemic I need to eat when I feel strange or faint, luckily for them I didn't faint or pass out as I would be taking it higher !!.

El personal era muy agradable, y el tiempo de espera para la comida era muy corta. La comida era muy agradable, sin duda regresaría de nuevo!

Esta es la segunda vez que me he acostumbrado a este Burger king para una llevar y la última. Me pareció que el personal era educado y nunca tuve un problema con ellos, pero la comida es horroroso. Pedí mi comida habitual con un lado...

Bins were full. Condiment pots empty. Filthy tables and counter. What was visible of the kitchen was also questionable. I know it is only a Burger King, but this was ridiculous. Avoid

Fuimos a eso de las 8 de la tarde. Un hombre con extraña verde/azul de pelo estaba haciendo papeles junto a la factura. Entonces, él puso su lápiz y fui a la cocina y manipulados de alimentos sin lavarse las manos. El trapeador y balde era visible por la máquina de batido. Las mesas estaban sucias, el contador fue nadar en cola y el servidor era tan desagradable. ¿Cuál es el problema con mantener el lugar limpio. Asqueroso!!! No más visitas para nosotros.

Stopped here last Sunday for a quick bite to eat. Inside the place it is tiny, not much room to sit in and eat only two tables inside. No problem for us as we just had our food in the car. The food was fresh and the service polite and quick. Maybe the little Chef attached to it, which was empty, could make room for a bigger more inviting Burger King.

Not a lot to say really other than it was typical Burger King fare. However, it was hot and freshly made which to me matters. It was clean and the condiments etc were well stocked. It is only small, but does what is says on the tin.

Been several times recently, they almost always get your order wrong and give you real coke instead of diet, the wrong burger etc etc, the wait at lunchtime is horrendous! Anyone would think they would expect to sell a few meals at this time and plan ahead but no such luck. The eat in section is tiny although you can eat next door in the Little Chef, however last time we went some customers and staff indulged in a shouting match which made everyone in the place uncomfortable.

The Little Chef attached to Burger King is a serious health hazard. The staff are very friendly but the whole place is so run down and dirty. It looked like the cleaner had mopped the toilet floor and used the basin to rinse the mop. This is a disgrace to the Little Chef name and should have a serious inspection.

Only about 6 chairs & tables in total, 90% of which were dirty - despite there being about 5 members of staff and 2 customers. The coke was flat and not very cold, they'd run out of chicken burgers, and the burger my partner ordered was barely warm - the cheese slice had not melted, and still seemed refrigerated. The chips were not salted, but were at least warm; the one saving grace of the entire meal.Had a similar experience on the previous visit too, so sadly not a one off. Will not be returning.

It's a BK, you don't expect much, right?But this BK is a particularly poor BK. The streamline machines haven't worked on the last 2 occasions I've visited (6 months apart) so it's cash only.The place is staffed by teenagers. They never seem to have any ice. The service is slow, the price is high, and the food is cold. I can't offer any specific examples, because it is like this every single time.Woeful.

Having used this drive through umpteen times now I'm of the view that fast food is not always fast, you can wait 20 minutes plus for your drive through here, so take a paper and turn your engine off. Secondly a ‘meal deal’ is apparently not always a meal since every other time we visit, we drive off to find the chips are missing, or some other item has been left out of the bags. So check your food item by item if you want to avoid your kids doing fisticuffs on the back seat all the way home.

Filthy place inside and out, food only ever just about warm, 19 chips with the last meal, staff or management couldn't care less about the job or the place, never any ice or bottled water. Hopefully this place will close its doors for good when the new Mac D and KFC open in Ely. I'd suggest they keep chickens in the empty restaurant might be cleaner and smarter from the outside !!

My partner and I go there if we have been working long hours and cannot be bothered to neither cook or eat out. It is a standard Burger King, mostly used for take-away not to eat in, so there are only a couple of tables inside. The service is mediocre for people walking in to order, but usually quite slow for the drive-through; even when it isn't busy!! A few weeks back we were waiting about ten minutes in the drive-through even though we were the only car there and had no changes to burgers etc on the menu. The screen just had our 10 minute ticket up there.Don't expect anything amazing, but if you want a burger; go get one!

Live locally and decided to pop in here with kids on half term, wished I hadn't bothered! Walked into 3 staff members chatting and laughing but when it came to serving they all disappeared round the back and left the newbie to get on with it, when I asked him a couple of questions regarding kids drinks he didn't know and there was no one else around for him to ask. The food was cold so sent it back but they just warmed it up in the microwave, you could tell as it went from cold to rubbery! One member of staff decided to shout orders to other members of staff regarding topping up syrups, juices etc. I don't understand why she had to do this from the doorway of the attached little chef restaurant across our heads!? The kids wanted hats but none available. I understand that this burger king is more of a drive through and a low taking site so the area manager isn't that interested which shows through the staff and the 'food' . Hurry up Ely and get cracking with the new food outlets and cinema!

Only nipped in for a quick burger. Only had to wait a couple of minutes which is very short for Burger King. Would call again.

In hind site we should have walked away, rat bait box by entrance overflowing bin and rubbish everywhere. Once inside it was filthy, dirty tables, dirty floor and front counter covered in spilt drinks and sticky substances. On purchasing food we were asked if we minded but there was no change ok it was only a few pence but they asked this of every customer when we were in there. Staff hygiene was questionable uniforms were filthy and frequent trips to bin outside was not followed by hand washing. Overall a disgusting experience !!

3rd time I've been told they don't have ice to make the smoothie drinks they're trying to promote. Ridiculous excuses. Bad management. Inexperienced excuses of staff. Food always takes time. Lucky to get a receipt. Or hot fries. And never expect to get ice! !

The service in this Burger King is beyond belief! In the time it took to get my food 3 members of staff had drinks in front of me. I asked for a vat receipt for the food and the lady who'se name is coral had never heard of a vat receipt and looked at me in as if I was alien I was made to feel like a inconvenience to her filling out her clip board.The only saving grace was the food was as to be expected.

Very poor food quality, poor service, extremely slow, two tables which is ridiculous, very small and in need of better management, new staff and a refurbishment!

Standard Burger King fayre. Restaurant is a little tired with just 2 tables. It is more catering to the drive thru from the service station but the staff were very friendly and helpful

No seating (2 tables). Fries were cold. Unfriendly atmosphere. Probably designed more for drive through. Would not go there again.

Of all the meals in supposedly 'decent' restaurants I've had in Ely lately, and come away feeling disappointed, not to mention £100+ lighter, I felt that humble Burger King was worthy of a review. It never fails to satisfy my cravings, deliciously cooked - perfect every time, I get change from a £10 note; & I leave feeling full, happy & satisfied....more than can be said for some restaurants in Ely!
